Abstract

The present invention discloses a coating device and a coating method. By providing an inlet and outlet chamber and a main process chamber that can be connected or blocked, and a cargo cage that can be transferred between the inlet and outlet chamber and the main process chamber, when the coating operation is performed, it is only necessary to open the door of the inlet and outlet chamber and release the air when the inlet and outlet chamber and the main process chamber are blocked to achieve the placement or removal of a single cargo cage. Therefore, during the coating process in one of the main process chambers, a first cargo cage loaded with parts to be coated can be placed into the other main process chamber, or a second cargo cage loaded with parts that have been coated can be taken out, so as to improve the continuity of the coating. In addition, since each time the cargo cage is taken out and placed, only the inlet and outlet chamber is vacuumed or released, the main process chamber being coated and the inlet and outlet chamber are always blocked, so that the outside atmosphere can be prevented from entering the main process chamber being coated, thereby preventing oxidation of the coated parts and the inconvenience caused by vacuuming the main process chamber, thereby ensuring the stability of the coating quality.
