Automatic monitoring device for safe operation of tower groups and control method thereof

Abstract

An automatic monitoring device for safe operation of a group of tower cranes and its control method include a tower boom monitoring unit, an amplitude variation measurement unit, a weight measurement unit, a central control unit, and a data processing unit. The central control unit is installed in the operator's cab, the data processing unit is connected to the central control unit, and the tower boom monitoring unit, amplitude variation measurement unit, and weight measurement unit are connected to the data processing unit. The tower boom monitoring unit is installed on the tower body and the tower crane boom, the amplitude variation unit is installed on the hook and the luffing trolley, and the weight measurement unit is installed on the luffing trolley. This design not only ensures the safety of a single tower crane but also prevents collisions when a group of tower cranes work together.
