A composite air filter element for preventing backflow of high-temperature and high-pressure gas in an engine

Abstract

The present application belongs to the technical field of engine intake filtering, and particularly relates to a composite intake anti-backflow air filter element for high-temperature and high-pressure gas filtering of an engine. The air filter element is applied to high-temperature and high-pressure gas filtering, has the characteristics of composite intake and anti-backflow, and comprises at least one layer of reinforced support type stainless steel wire mesh concentric with the axis of the filter element, on which an intake pleated filter material is arranged. The intake pleated filter material is circumferential direction folded glass fiber or metal felt filter material with first end connected to the last end. The air filter element solves the problem that a double-stage dispersion arrangement type air fine filter of a heavy vehicle intake system cannot meet the engine intake purification demand of the vehicle under the condition of limited space constraint and working in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment. Through arrangement of the rear intake plane filter material, the air filter element has the capability of composite intake. When the engine appears reverse combustion, the plane filter material becomes a pressure relief surface of high-temperature mixed air, and the high-temperature gas is discharged from the plane filter material.
