A faucet assembly that is easy to install and a method of installing the same

Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of faucet, especially to a faucet assembly convenient to install. The faucet assembly comprises a faucet base fixedly connected with a faucet, a horseshoe buckle fixedly connected with the faucet base and an auxiliary installation cup clamped with the horseshoe buckle. The auxiliary installation cup comprises a main body and a cavity formed by the main body. A side wall of the main body is provided with a side wall gap. A bottom of the main body is provided with an installation cup bottom hole and a horseshoe buckle clamping opening which are mutually penetrated. The cavity, the side wall gap and the horseshoe buckle clamping opening are mutually penetrated. The structure of the horseshoe buckle is matched with the combined structure of the horseshoe buckle clamping opening and the installation cup bottom hole. The auxiliary installation cup is arranged to be connected with the horseshoe buckle, so that the faucet can be installed above the sink countertop, time and labor are saved. The faucet base is further arranged to connect the horseshoe buckle and the faucet, so that the fixation of the horseshoe buckle and the faucet is independent of each other, and the installation difficulty of the faucet assembly is reduced. The present application further provides an installation method of the faucet assembly.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of faucets, in particular to a faucet assembly convenient to install and an installation method thereof. BACKGROUND

[0002] The faucet is a terminal control device in the process of water delivery, mainly used to control the size and on-off of water flow, and has good water-saving effect, so it is used in every household. However, the existing faucet installation structure lacks connecting pieces and auxiliary pieces for installation, and the installation method of the faucet is not ideal.

[0003] As shown in Figure 1 , the installation of the faucet 1' is through the cooperation of a large fixed nut 15 and a large fixed screw 16, the faucet 1' is screwed and installed on the sink countertop 8', one end of the large fixed screw 16 is screwed and fixed with the faucet 1', and the other end is screwed and fixed with the large fixed nut 15 below the sink countertop 8', and the water pipe 7' is connected through the large fixed screw 16 and the faucet 1'.

[0004] As shown in Figure 2 , another installation of the faucet 1' is through the setting of a small fixed screw 18 and a small fixed nut 17, and an additional fixing piece 5' is added, the small fixed screw 18 is screwed and fixed with the faucet 1', the small fixed screw 18 passes through the fixing piece 5' and is screwed and fixed with the small fixed nut 17 below the sink countertop 8', and the fixing piece 5' can be a horseshoe buckle and is installed below the sink countertop 8' for stopping and fixing.

[0005] Therefore, the above two installation structures lack auxiliary pieces (such as auxiliary installation cups) for assisting the fixing piece 5' below the sink to be installed above the sink countertop 8', and lack connecting pieces (such as faucet bases) for separately connecting the faucet 1' and the fixing piece 5', and the faucet 1' is directly fixed by a screw and a nut, which cannot be separately disassembled, thereby affecting the disassembly efficiency of the faucet 1'.

[0006] In summary, both of the two installation structures have the problem of needing to operate below the sink top 8', and the operation process is complex and unstable. Both of the two installation structures are to first fix the faucet 1' with the large fixed screw rod 16 or the small fixed screw rod 18, and then insert the screw rod downward into the sink top 8'. However, the space below the sink top 8' is limited, and is generally low, narrow and dark. In addition, the sink occupies a large amount of space and blocks the view of the installer, causing invisible installation. At this time, when the installer installs the fixing part 5' and the nut below the sink top, the installer either directly reaches below the sink top to install the fixing part 5' by feeling, or bends down to install below the sink top. Therefore, after a period of use, the phenomenon of loosening or water leakage is prone to occur, thereby affecting the normal use of the faucet. Similarly, this installation method also increases the installation difficulty for the installer. SUMMARY

Pull the water inlet pipe 6 out of hole 13 and push it down from the water inlet pipe insertion hole 41 to the lower surface of the sink countertop 8 between the water inlet pipe and the horseshoe buckle 5. Adjust the installation angle of each accessory on the sink countertop 8 according to the actual installation needs, and tighten the base fixing screw 3. Then, pass the water inlet pipe 7 through the water inlet pipe insertion hole 41 in the middle of the faucet base 4. Connect the upper end of the water inlet pipe 7 to the water inlet pipe connection hole 12 in the faucet slot 14 at the lower end of the faucet 1. Fit the faucet with the water inlet pipe 7 connected to the upper end of the extension post 33 of the faucet base 4. Finally, tighten the faucet fixing screw 2 into the threaded hole 11 on the side wall of the faucet and the faucet fixing hole 44 to lock the faucet 1 onto the sink countertop 8.
