Abstract

The application discloses a kind of thermoplastic gas permeability characterization method and auxiliary testing device, by testing ultrasonic longitudinal wave sound velocity characterization thermoplastic product under actual service condition gas permeability, actual service condition is realized by auxiliary testing device, loading system loads stress condition, test fixture is used to clamp sample, heating and heat preservation system is used to establish the temperature environment required for test for sample;Ultrasonic testing system includes ultrasonic transducer and ultrasonic generator;Ultrasonic transducer is fixed on test fixture, for emitting and receiving ultrasonic wave;Ultrasonic generator is used to control ultrasonic transducer, collect ultrasonic signal, calculate sound velocity, and ultrasonic transducer is in contact with the surface of sample to be tested;Gas permeability of thermoplastic product under service condition can be qualitatively compared according to calibration sound velocity;By establishing the mathematical model between calibration sound velocity and gas permeability data tested by standard method, the gas permeability of thermoplastic material is described.
