Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an active agent composition and a cosmetic comprising the same. Background Art
[0002] Generally, nonionic surfactants used in cosmetics are surfactants having a hydrophilic group that does not dissociate into ions in the molecule. As the hydrophilic group, a polyoxyethylene chain or a polyol chain is generally used.
[0003] Nonionic surfactants having polyol chains, represented by glycerol, have been widely used as emulsifiers, solubilizers, etc. due to their excellent safety and functions. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a low-viscosity emulsion-like W / O type emulsified cosmetic material having excellent feel in use and good stability over time. The emulsified cosmetic material is characterized by containing one or more polyglycerol fatty acid esters, glycerol, an oil base, and water.
[0004] In addition, it is known that silicone surfactants modified with glycerol or polyglycerol have excellent moisturizing properties (Patent Document 2). In addition, a technique for improving the stability of a formulation by improving the dispersibility of a powder by hydrophobic treatment is also known (Patent Document 3). A technique for improving the stability of a formulation by using a glycerol-modified silicone surfactant and trimethylsiloxysilicic acid in combination is also known (Patent Document 4).
[0005] However, nonionic surfactants such as glycerol, which use a polyol chain having two or more hydroxyl groups as a hydrophilic group, are difficult to handle due to increased viscosity, and there are limitations in the development of high molecular weight products.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0028] The present invention is described in detail below. In the present invention, the ingredient name may be described as a cosmetic name or International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredient (INCI). When the cosmetic name corresponds to INCI, the English description may be omitted.
[0029] [(A) ingredient]
[0030] The (A) component of the present invention is a nonionic surfactant having two or more hydroxyls relative to each hydrophilic group, and one kind can be used alone or two or more kinds can be used in combination. As the hydrophilic group of the (A) component, as long as it is a hydrophilic group generally used in nonionic surfactants, it is not limited. For example, hydrophilic groups of the structure of polyols including glycerol, trimethylolpropane, pentaerythritol, sorbitan, sorbitol, sucrose, polyglycerol, and cottonseed sugar can be listed. In addition, it can be a group formed by modifying a part of the hydroxyl groups possessed by these hydrophilic groups, or it can be a structure formed by combining one or more of these hydrophilic groups. Among these, in terms of emulsification, dispersibility, and moisture retention, it is preferred to have a hydrophilic group with a structure of glycerol or polyglycerol.
[0031] The number of hydroxyl groups in component (A) is two or more per hydrophilic group. The more hydroxyl groups there are, the more remarkable the effect of the present invention becomes. From the viewpoint of balance with the hydrophobic groups, the number is preferably 3 to 20, more preferably 3 to 15, and even more preferably 4 to 10.
[0032] As the component (A), for example, there can be mentioned fatty acid ester-based surfactants of polyhydric alcohols such as sorbitan fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene sorbitol fatty acid esters, glycerol fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene glycerol fatty acid esters, and polyglycerol fatty acid esters, and silicone-based surfactants such as polyglycerol-modified silicone (organopolysiloxane). Among these, silicone-based surfactants are preferred, and polyglycerol-modified silicone is more preferred, because the effect of high viscosity due to the hydrophobic group is small and the effect of the present invention is significantly manifested.
[0033] Specific examples of the ester surfactant include polyglyceryl-2 isostearate, polyglyceryl-10 laurate, polyhydroxystearate, sorbitan stearate, and sorbitan sesquiisostearate.
[0034] As for the organosilicon surfactant, it can be straight-chain or branched. Specifically, partially cross-linked polyglycerol-modified organosilicon, straight-chain or branched polyglycerol-modified organopolysiloxane, and straight-chain or branched polyglycerol-alkyl co-modified organopolysiloxane can be listed. Among them, products with straight-chain or branched organopolysiloxane as the main skeleton and polyglycerol chains in the side chains, or products with straight-chain or branched organopolysiloxane as the main skeleton and polyglycerol chains and alkyl chains in the side chains can be used most preferably in terms of feel in use and emulsification performance.
[0035] Examples of partially cross-linked polyglyceryl-modified silicone include (dimethicone / polyglyceryl-3) crosspolymer (INCI), (lauryl dimethicone / polyglyceryl-3) crosspolymer (INCI), and (polyglyceryl-3 / lauryl polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone) crosspolymer (INCI). The partially cross-linked polyglyceryl-modified silicone may be a composition comprising the partially cross-linked polyglyceryl-modified silicone and an oil that is liquid at room temperature. Examples of the liquid oil include cyclopentasiloxane (INCI), dimethicone (INCI), mineral oil (INCI), isododecane (INCI), triethylhexanoin (INCI), and squalane (INCI).
[0036] Examples of commercially available partially cross-linked polyglycerol-modified silicones swollen with a liquid oil include KSG-710, KSG-810, KSG-820, KSG-830, KSG-840, KSG-820Z, and KSG-850Z manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.
[0037] As the linear or branched polyglyceryl-modified organopolysiloxane, the linear or branched polyglyceryl-alkyl co-modified organopolysiloxane, specifically, polyglyceryl-3 disiloxane dimethyl polysiloxane (INCI), polyglyceryl-3 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethyl polysiloxane (INCI), lauryl polyglyceryl-3 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethyl polysiloxane (INCI), bisbutyl dimethicone polyglyceryl-3 (INCI), etc. can be cited. As examples of commercially available products, Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.: KF-6100, KF-6104, KF-6105, KF-6106, KF-6115, etc. can be cited. The partially cross-linked polyglyceryl-modified silicone has a viscosity-increasing effect due to the cross-linked part in its structure, so the viscosity-reducing effect of the component (B) of the present invention is not significant. As the polyglyceryl-modified silicone, a linear or branched one is preferred.
[0038] The viscosity of the component (A) at 25°C is preferably selected from the range of 100 to 500,000 mPa·s, more preferably 1,000 to 400,000 mPa·s, and further preferably 3,000 to 50,000 mPa·s. According to the present invention, even a component (A) having such a viscosity can have a lower viscosity. It should be noted that in the present invention, the viscosity is a value at 25°C measured by the method using a B-type rotational viscometer described in JIS K7117-1:1999 (the same below).
[0039] [(B) ingredient]
[0040] The component (B) of the present invention is an oily component having one hydroxyl group and being liquid at 25°C. Among them, components having a solubility of less than 1 g in 100 g of purified water at 25°C are preferred. Regardless of the number of hydroxyl groups in the component (A), the component (B) does not contain an oily agent having no hydroxyl group or an oily agent having two or more hydroxyl groups. In addition, the component (B) does not contain a low alcohol having 1 to 5 carbon atoms which has high hydrophilicity and may have poor affinity with the oil layer.
[0041] As the component (B), for example, higher alcohols, higher fatty acids and ester oils that are liquid at 25° C. are listed. Among these, higher alcohols such as aliphatic alcohols and ester oils are preferred, and branched aliphatic alcohols having 16 to 24 carbon atoms are most preferred in terms of feel during use and low viscosity. These can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0042] Examples of the higher alcohol include alcohols having 6 or more carbon atoms, preferably 16 to 24 carbon atoms, more preferably 16 to 20 carbon atoms, and particularly preferably 16 to 18 carbon atoms in terms of compatibility with the component (A) and feel during use. Specific examples of the higher alcohol include lauryl alcohol (INCI), hexyldecanol (INCI), oleyl alcohol (INCI), isostearyl alcohol (INCI), octyldodecanol (INCI), decyltetradecyl alcohol (INCI), and the like.
[0043] Examples of higher fatty acids include fatty acids having 6 or more carbon atoms, preferably 16 to 24 carbon atoms, and more preferably 16 to 20 carbon atoms. Examples thereof include oleic acid (INCI: Oleic Acid), linoleic acid (INCI: Linoleic Acid), linolenic acid (INCI: Linolenic Acid), arachidonic acid (INCI: Arachidonic Acid), eicosapentaenoic acid (INCI: Eicosapentaenoic Acid), docosahexaenoic acid (INCI: Docosahexaenoic Acid), and isostearic acid (INCI: Isostearic Acid).
[0044] Examples of the ester oil include diisostearyl malate (INCI: Diisostearyl Malate), triethyl citrate (INCI: Triethyl Citrate), cetyl lactate (INCI: Cetyl Lactate), myristyl lactate (INCI: Myristyl Lactate), cholesteryl hydroxystearate (INCI: Cholesteryl Hydroxystearate), coconut fatty acid BG (INCI: Butylene Glycol Cocoate), polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate (INCI: Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate), homosalate (INCI), and ethylhexyl salicylate (INCI: Ethylhexyl Salicylate).
[0045] In the present invention, the viscosity of component (A) is further reduced by combining component (A) with component (B), and the viscosity of component (B) at 25° C. itself is not limited as long as it is liquid at 25° C. For example, it is preferably selected from the range of 1 to 3000 mPa·s, more preferably 5 to 400 mPa·s, and even more preferably 30 to 60 mPa·s.
[0046] The composition ratio of component (A) to component (B) is expressed as a mass ratio, preferably in the range of 70:30 to 95:5, more preferably 80:20 to 98:2, and further preferably 85:15 to 95:5. When the total is set to 100, when the mass ratio of (A) exceeds 95, the viscosity is sometimes not sufficiently low, and when the mass ratio of (B) exceeds 30, the function of the sufficient activator is sometimes not obtained. In the activator composition, the total amount of component (A) and component (B) can also be 15% by mass or more, but is preferably 90% by mass or more, more preferably 95% by mass or more, further preferably 99% by mass or more, and particularly preferably 100% by mass. By making the total amount of component (A) and component (B) 90% by mass or more, the miscibility (easy weighing) in the oil phase during the preparation of the cosmetic is further improved. Furthermore, the active agent composition of the present invention is prepared by mixing the components (A) and (B) in advance and compounding them according to the cosmetic formulation, and by making the active agent with low viscosity and excellent handling properties, it is easy to weigh and put in. Therefore, it is not unintentionally mixed in the formulation.
[0047] The components other than the components (A) and (B) in the active agent composition are components generally blended in cosmetics, and are not particularly limited as long as they are components and their amounts that can achieve a predetermined viscosity range. Examples thereof include surfactants other than the component (A), such as polyether-modified silicones, pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid-modified silicones, and ionic surfactants, and oils other than the component (B), such as silicone oils, hydrocarbon oils, and ester oils, aqueous components, powders, and the like.
[0048] The viscosity of the mixture and the activator composition obtained by mixing the components (A) and (B) at 25°C is less than 50% of the viscosity of the component (A), preferably less than 40%, more preferably less than 30%, and further preferably less than 25%. In the present invention, since the viscosity of the component (A) can be further reduced, the viscosity of the mixture and the activator composition at 25°C is preferably 100 to 50,000 mPa·s, more preferably 500 to 15,000 mPa·s, and further preferably 500 to 5,000 mPa·s. If it is such a viscosity, it is easy to handle, and it is easy to weigh and mix. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the viscosity is a value at 25°C measured by the method using a B-type rotational viscometer described in JIS K7117-1:1999.
[0049] Furthermore, the active agent composition of the present invention is preferably a composition that can be mixed uniformly. Specifically, it is a composition that does not separate at 25°C after mixing, and a turbid composition is not preferred. A semi-transparent dissolving composition is preferred, and a transparent dissolving composition is further preferred from the perspective of quality management. Furthermore, with regard to transparency, when the total light transmittance measured by the method described in JIS K7361-1:1997 when filled in a cell with a thickness of 1 cm is 50% or more, it is judged as semi-transparent, and when it is 80% or more, it is judged as transparent. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of transparency, a combination of polyglyceryl-3 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethyl polysiloxane as the component (A) and a higher alcohol having 16 to 18 carbon atoms as the component (B), a combination of lauryl polyglyceryl-3 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethyl polysiloxane as the component (A) and a higher alcohol having 16 to 24 carbon atoms as the component (B), a combination of polyglyceryl-3 disiloxane dimethyl polysiloxane as the component (A) and a higher alcohol having 16 to 18 carbon atoms as the component (B), and a combination of polyglyceryl-10 laurate as the component (A) and a higher alcohol having 16 to 18 carbon atoms as the component (B).
[0050] The active agent composition of the present invention can be obtained by mixing the above-mentioned components (A) and (B), and optional components. As optional components, the components exemplified in the following cosmetics can be mentioned, and they can be blended in appropriate amounts.

The cosmetics mixed with the activator composition have a good feel for use. The cosmetics of the present invention can be obtained by mixing the pre-prepared activator composition in the cosmetics. In this case, the amount of the activator composition is preferably in the range of 0.1 to 40% by mass of the total cosmetics, and in particular, as an emulsifier when making an emulsion, it is preferably 0.1 to 8% by mass of the total cosmetics, and more preferably 0.1 to 5% by mass. When converted to the total amount of component (A) and component (B), it is preferably 0.1 to 8% by mass of the total cosmetics, and more preferably 0.1 to 5% by mass.

In addition, the solubility of all the (B) components used in 100g of purified water at 25°C is less than 1g.
[0156] [Example, Comparative Example (Active Agent Composition-1)]
[0157] Active agent compositions having the compositions shown in Tables 1 and 2 were prepared.
[0158] (Manufacturing method)
[0159] Each component was weighed in a beaker and mixed.
[0160] The following evaluations were performed on the obtained active agent compositions, and the results are collectively shown in the table.
[0161] [Viscosity]
[0162] The viscosity was measured at 25°C in a 30 mL vial according to the method described in JIS K 7117-1:1999 using a B-type viscometer (TVB-10, manufactured by Toki Sangyo).
[0163] [Transparency]
[0164] Visual observation was performed using a 30 mL vial at 25°C, with transparent dissolution being marked as "○", semi-transparent dissolution being marked as "△", and separation being marked as "×". "△" or above ("△" or "○") was considered acceptable.

[0176] Table 3 shows the viscosity reduction rates of the obtained active agent compositions in Examples and Comparative Examples.
[0177] [Viscosity reduction rate]
[0178] Determine how much the viscosity of the activator composition accounts for the viscosity of the component (A).
[0179] [Table 3]
[0180]
[0181] As can be seen from Table 3, it is confirmed that the viscosity reduction rate of the active agent of the active agent composition of Examples 1 to 12 is good. In particular, it can be seen from the results of Examples 6 to 8 that it is not simply the effect produced by the viscosity of the (B) component. As can be seen from Examples 1 to 5, when the (A) component is a polyglycerol-modified silicone and the (B) component is a branched saturated alcohol, the viscosity reduction rate is more significant. In addition, as can be seen from Comparative Examples 1 to 9, if the silicone oil or hydrocarbon oil usually used in combination with the (A) component, or the ester oil having a viscosity similar to that of the (B) component, is mixed with a different (A) component, the viscosity reduction rate is insufficient. Although Comparative Example 10, in which the number of hydroxyl groups of the active agent is 1 for each hydrophilic group, is a combination with the (B) component, sufficient viscosity reduction is not found. From these results, it can be seen that the combination of the (A) component and the (B) component is important for viscosity reduction.
[0182] [Examples, Comparative Examples (Cosmetics)]
[0183] Water-in-oil (W / O) formulations shown in Table 4 were prepared.
[0184] (Manufacturing method)
[0185] A: Mix ingredients (1).
[0186] B: Mix ingredients (2).
[0187] C: The mixture obtained in B was added to the mixture obtained in A and emulsified to obtain a water-in-oil (W / O) cream.
[0188] [Characteristics evaluation]
[0189] Using the following evaluation criteria, a 10-person special evaluation panel evaluated the compatibility (ease of weighing) in the oil phase when the cosmetic is made and the feel of use (good spreading) of the cosmetic. The results were based on the average of the 10 people and judged according to the following judgment criteria. The results are recorded in the table.
[0190] [Evaluation criteria]
[0191] 5 points: Very good
[0192] 4 points: Good
[0193] 3 points: Average
[0194] 2 points: Slightly poor
[0195] 1 point: Poor
[0196] The obtained average scores were judged with ○× according to the following criteria.
[0197] [Judgment criteria]
[0198] ◎: Average score is 4.5 or above
[0199] ○: Average score is 3.5 or more and less than 4.5
[0200] △: Average score is 2.5 or more and less than 3.5
[0201] ×: The average score is 1.5 or more and less than 2.5
[0202] ××: The average score is less than 1.5 points
[0203] Those with a score of “△” or above were considered as passing.

[0206] (Note 1) KF-6104: Made by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.
[0207] (Note 2) KF-6105: Made by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.
[0208] As can be seen from Table 4, the cosmetics of Examples 13 to 16 have good feel during use, and in particular, Examples 13 and 14 have good mixing properties and are easy to prepare. The viscosity of the mixture of (1) of Examples 15 and 16 at 25°C is less than 50% of the viscosity of component (A) (3392 mPa·s).
[0209] [Example, Comparative Example (Active Agent Composition-2)]
[0210] Using the formulation shown in Table 6, an active agent composition was prepared.
[0211] (Manufacturing method)
[0212] After weighing each ingredient in a beaker, mix them.
[0213] The viscosity, transparency and viscosity reduction rate were evaluated by the same method as above. The results are also shown in the table.

[0216] (Note 1) KF-6105: Made by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.
[0217] (Note 2) KF-6100: Made by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.
[0218] As can be seen from Table 6, the activator compositions of Examples 17 to 22 demonstrated that the viscosity reduction rate of the activator was good even when the mass ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) was adjusted.
