Description

Technical Field

[0001] The invention relates to a device for changing coils or cores, an arrangement, in particular comprising a device and a winding station, and a method for changing coils or cores. Background Art

[0002] The device, the assembly and the method are used, in particular, for unwinding and winding an electrode film, in particular a coated and / or uncoated electrode film.

[0003] Batteries, in particular lithium-ion batteries, are increasingly being used to power motor vehicles. Batteries are usually composed of battery cells, wherein each battery cell has a stack of anode films, cathode films and separator films, which may be present in the form of layers or material layers. At least a portion of the anode film and cathode film is implemented as a current discharger to discharge the current provided by the battery cell to a consumer arranged outside the battery cell. The individual elements of the stack are also referred to below as electrodes or films.

[0004] The individual films are provided in particular as a continuous material, coated, for example, with an active material, if necessary, and wound up again. The film produced in this way is then supplied as a wound coil to a process for producing a battery cell. There, the coil, including the electrode film, which may be coated, is unwound and, for example, trimmed or separated or cut into individual layers so that the individual layers can be arranged one above the other. Uncoated areas of the coated film can be used as a discharger.

[0005] The coil comprises, in particular, a so-called winding sleeve (referred to here as a core) on which the film is wound and from which it is subsequently unwound again.

[0006] In view of the increasing degree of automation of production chains in factories for the production of (lithium-ion) batteries, there is an urgent need to improve the links between the individual machines. Such production chains include in particular electrode production (i.e., in particular the coating, calendering, slitting and slotting of support materials with active materials) and stacking (stacking of individual layers of film). These processes include in particular a large number of splicing operations (i.e., connection methods for connecting electrode films to continuous materials) and cutting operations (for trimming or separating individual layers of electrode films from continuous materials). In particular, these processes or methods implement a continuous production method.

[0007] The splicing connection method is used in particular when unwinding and winding continuous materials from coils. If the first film is completely unwound from the coil, a new second film of a new coil already available in the machine is automatically added to the end of the first film. This connection between the first film and the second film is called a splicing point or a joining point. Subsequently or before, the end of the first film must be separated from the coil or the winding sleeve in order to decouple the empty winding sleeve from the process and remove it from the machine. The empty winding sleeve can then be replaced by a new coil.

[0008] In particular, after the process (e.g. coating of the first film), the continuous material of the first film is wound again onto a (further) winding sleeve. After the process (e.g. coating of the film) has passed through the splicing point, the first film must be separated from the second film again so that the web including the first film can be removed from the machine. Subsequently, the end of the second film is joined again to a new or empty winding sleeve so that error-free winding can be ensured.

[0009] The separation of continuous material, ie the production of separation points, is carried out industrially in particular by knife cutting or rolling knife cutting and is characterized by complex automation technology.

[0010] The connection of the film material to the winding sleeve is carried out industrially, in particular, as a bonding process and is also characterized by complex automation.

[0011] There is currently no fully automated process for handling coils or cores. In particular, due to the high precision required when transferring coils or cores, AGVs (automatic guided vehicles) can only be used with difficulty in practice, especially in the case of only one-sided support (carrying arm / cantilever) of the receiving device for the cores or coils.

[0012] A method and a device for replacing a carrier unit with flat packaging material wound on a supply roll in a packaging machine are known from DE 10 2013 110 944 A1.

[0013] A mounting device and a vehicle for mounting and optionally transporting material rolls are known from WO 03 / 006355 A1.

[0014] A system for replacing material coils for installing an electrical energy storage device and a method therefor are known from EP 4119475 A1. The system comprises a self-propelled vehicle which can approach a winding station and remove or supply coils. Summary of the invention

[0015] The object of the present invention is to at least partially solve the problems cited with reference to the prior art. In particular, the process of handling or processing coils and / or cores should be improved so that a high degree of automation of the production chain can be ensured.

[0016] The device for changing coils or cores according to the invention contributes to solving these tasks. Advantageous improvements are the content of the embodiments according to the invention. The individual features listed in the embodiments according to the invention can be combined with each other in a technically meaningful manner and can be supplemented by explanatory facts in the description and / or details in the drawings, wherein other implementation variants of the invention are shown.

[0017] A device for changing a coil or a core is proposed. The coil comprises a sleeve-shaped core and a film wound thereon. The device is arranged in a fixed position relative to a winding station, at which the film can be unwound from the coil or wound onto the core. The device has at least one support and a support arm arranged at the support, wherein the support arm extends along a first axis extending horizontally, and wherein the hollow core or the coil can be arranged or arranged on the support arm to be movable along the first axis. The support can be rotated with the support arm relative to the winding station at least about a rotation axis extending in a first vertical direction.

[0018] The films described here are in particular electrode films for battery cells.

[0019] Battery cells are in particular lithium-ion battery cells or other types of battery cells. Battery cells are current storage devices that are used, for example, in motor vehicles to store electrical energy. In particular, for example, a motor vehicle has an electric motor (traction drive) for driving the motor vehicle, wherein the electric motor can be driven by the electrical energy stored in the battery cells.

[0020] In particular, a battery cell comprises a housing enclosing a volume, and at least one electrode film of a first electrode type (eg an anode), an electrode film of a second electrode type (eg a cathode) arranged in the volume, a separator material arranged therebetween, and an electrolyte (eg a liquid or solid electrolyte).

[0021] The individual films are arranged one above the other and in particular form a stack. The electrode films are each associated with a different electrode type and are therefore designed as an anode or cathode. Here, the anodes and cathodes are arranged alternately and are each separated from one another by a separator material.

[0022] The film comprises in particular a carrier material of an electrode film, an electrode film having at least one active material or a separator film, which is each used as a component of a battery cell. The carrier material comprises in particular a metallic material (for example a material comprising copper or aluminum) or an alloy.

[0023] The sleeve-shaped core and also the coil (i.e. the core comprising the film wound thereon) are designed in a known manner and are known in principle. In particular, the core has a sleeve-shaped cavity. The circumferential surface of the core is designed in a cylindrical manner. The core extends from a first end toward a second end, wherein the film is arranged or can be arranged on the circumferential surface between the ends.

[0024] In particular, the proposed device achieves a high degree of automation with high reproducibility of the method steps to be performed. In particular, the complex sensor system required when using AGVs does not need to be provided, since a fixed-position arrangement of the device is proposed here.

[0025] In particular, fixed position means here that the position of the device relative to the winding station is unchangeable. Therefore, in particular no AGV is provided, whose travel path is freely programmable and just not permanently fixed.

[0026] The support extends, in particular, substantially along the first direction. The support arm is connected to the support or is (movably) arranged on the support.

[0027] The support arm can be rotated in particular together with the support about the rotation axis. It is also possible that the support arm can be rotated relative to the support so that the support arm can then be rotated relative to the support along a circumferential direction extending about the rotation axis.

[0028] In particular, the carrying arm is displaceable relative to the support along a first axis.

[0029] In particular, the device additionally comprises a first displacement unit for displacing the coil or core arranged on the support arm along the first axis. The first displacement unit is arranged in particular on the support arm or on the support.

[0030] Via the displacement unit, the coil or the core can be displaced on the carrying arm, in particular to such an extent that the coil or the core can be pushed onto a receiving mandrel of the winding station.

[0031] In particular, the support arm extends through the sleeve-shaped core (optionally the coil) or can be inserted into the sleeve-shaped cavity.

[0032] In particular, the support is arranged in a fixed position or movable relative to the winding station. The device for moving the support is an integral part of the device, and the travel path of the support is unchangeable relative to the winding station.

[0033] The support is arranged in particular in a fixed position relative to the winding station. Fixed position here means that the position of the support is unchangeable relative to the winding station. However, rotation of the support around the axis of rotation is possible here.

[0034] If the support is arranged so that it can move relative to the winding station, a device is provided. The travel path of the support, which is achieved by the device, is unchangeable relative to the winding station. For example, the device comprises a rail system or a similar guide device, which itself is arranged in a fixed position relative to the winding station. In particular, the travel path of the support is only possible in the spatial dimension, i.e. only along the travel path. The device is used to ensure a high repetition accuracy of the movement of the support, which cannot usually be achieved by an AGV.

[0035] Furthermore, an arrangement for changing a coil or a core is proposed, wherein the coil comprises a sleeve-shaped core and a film wound thereon. The arrangement comprises at least the described device and a winding station. The winding station has at least one receiving mandrel. The receiving mandrel extends along a second axis extending horizontally, wherein the coil or the hollow core can be arranged or arranged to be movable along the second axis on the receiving mandrel. The carrying arm of the device and the receiving mandrel of the winding station can be arranged relative to each other in a manner suitable for transferring the coil or the core (from the carrying arm to the receiving mandrel and / or vice versa), for example with axes aligned with each other.

[0036] In the case of an arrangement suitable for the transfer (for example an arrangement of axes aligned with one another), in particular only the carrier and / or the support arm and / or the device can be moved relative to the winding station.

[0037] For transferring the coil or core (from the support arm to the receiving mandrel and / or vice versa), the axes are arranged in particular relative to one another in such a way that the coil or core can be moved in the direction of the axes and thus exchanged from the support arm to the receiving mandrel (or vice versa). In particular, it can be provided that the support arm and the receiving mandrel are in contact with one another. In particular, contact between the support arm and the receiving mandrel is not necessary (since this can be ensured with precision by a fixed arrangement of the support or by the device).

[0038] In particular, the assembly additionally comprises a second movement unit for moving the coil or core arranged on the receiving mandrel along the second axis.

[0039] Via the second displacement unit, the coil or the core can be displaced on the receiving mandrel, in particular to such an extent that the coil or the core can be pushed onto a carrying arm of the device.

[0040] In particular, the arrangement additionally comprises a first storage device for coils or cores, wherein the first storage device is arranged relative to the device such that the support arm can be moved at least into the sleeve-shaped core or removed therefrom within the scope of a movement along the first axis.

[0041] The storage device is used in particular to receive the coil or the core when it is not arranged at a winding station or on a carrying arm. The storage device is used in particular to store or transport the coil or the core towards and away from the device or assembly.

[0042] In particular, the storage device has a receptacle, via which only the core is accessible, so that the wound film is not touched by the storage device if necessary. In particular, for example, the ends of the sleeve-shaped core can be supported by the container. Alternatively, the receptacle can be designed in the manner of a cantilever, onto which the coil can be pushed (similar to the cantilever of the device or the receiving mandrel of the winding station).

[0043] In particular, the device additionally comprises a second storage device for coils or cores, wherein the first storage device is designed to be suitable for receiving at least the cores and the second storage device is designed to be suitable for receiving at least the coils.

[0044] In particular, each storage device is designed to be suitable for receiving cores and for receiving coils. What has been said about the first storage device also applies in particular to the second storage device, and vice versa.

[0045] Furthermore, a method for replacing a coil or a core using the described assembly is proposed. In a starting state, the coil or the core is arranged on a receiving mandrel of a winding station. Starting from the starting state, the method comprises at least the following steps:

[0046] a) moving the carrier arm towards the receiving mandrel so that the axes are arranged with respect to each other in a manner suitable for moving the coil or core (e.g., aligned);

[0047] b) moving the coil or core along an axis starting from the receiving mandrel towards a carrying arm of the device;

[0048] c) moving the carrying arm towards a first storage device for coils or cores;

[0049] d) storing the coil or core on a first storage device;

[0050] e) moving the carrying arm towards a second storage device for cores or coils;

[0051] f) placing a new core or coil on the carrying arm;

[0052] g) moving the carrier arm towards the containing mandrel so that the axes are arranged with respect to each other suitable for moving the core or coil (eg, aligning); and

[0053] h) moving the core or coil along the axis starting from the carrier arm towards the receiving mandrel;

[0054] i) The winding station is operated and the film is wound onto a core for building a roll, or the film is unwound from a roll.

[0055] The above (non-closed) division of the method steps in a) to i) should primarily only be used to distinguish, but not to force an order and / or association. The frequency of the method steps can also vary. It is also possible that the method steps overlap each other at least partially in time. In particular, each of the steps can be implemented as a first step, and then the subsequent steps can be implemented subsequently. In particular, steps a) to i) are performed in the order described.

[0056] In particular, the support arm or the carrier (or the device) is arranged before step a) in a starting position in which, for example, interactions with a winding station or an optionally provided storage device (eg collisions or impairment of freedom of movement) can be excluded.

[0057] Within the scope of step a), the support arm is moved (starting from a starting position) towards the receiving mandrel so that the axes are arranged in such a way (e.g. aligned) with one another that within the scope of step b), the coil of the core can be moved. In particular, the movement comprises only a rotation of the support about the axis of rotation or a movement of the support arm about the support in a circumferential direction. If necessary, a movement of the support arm in the first direction is also required. If necessary, a movement of the support arm relative to the support along the first axis is also required.

[0058] Within the scope of step b), the coil or core is moved along the axis starting from the receiving mandrel towards the carrying arm of the device. In particular, the movement is realized by the (described) second movement unit, which is arranged at the winding station. In particular, within the scope of step b), the coil or core is pushed downward from the receiving mandrel and onto the carrying arm.

[0059] Within the scope of step c), the support arm is moved towards the first storage device for the coils or cores. In particular, the movement comprises only a rotation of the support about the rotation axis or a movement of the support arm about the support in a circumferential direction. If necessary, a movement of the support arm in the first direction is also required. If necessary, the movement of the support along a defined travel path is realized by the device.

[0060] Within the scope of step d), the coils or cores are deposited on a first storage device. In particular, the storage comprises only a movement of the support arm along a first direction, i.e. in particular along the support or vertical direction. In particular, after the coils or cores have been deposited in the storage device, the support arm is removed from the sleeve-shaped cavity of the core. In particular, the support arm is moved only along a first axis. This movement is carried out in particular relative to the support or together with the support through the device. Alternatively, only a movement of the coils or cores along the first axis is required. This movement can be realized, for example, via a first mobile unit.

[0061] Within the scope of step e), the support arm is moved towards the second storage device for the cores or coils. In particular, the movement comprises only a rotation of the support about the rotation axis or a movement of the support arm about the support in a circumferential direction. Alternatively or additionally, the movement comprises (only) a displacement of the support arm along the first axis, wherein the movement is carried out in particular relative to the support or together with the support by the device. If necessary, a movement of the support arm in the first direction is additionally required. If necessary, the movement of the support along a determined travel path is realized by the device.

[0062] Within the scope of step f), a new core or coil is arranged on the support arm. In particular, this step (only) comprises pushing the support arm along the first axis into the sleeve-shaped core. If necessary, a movement of the support arm along the first axis relative to the support is additionally required.

[0063] Within the scope of step g), the support arm is moved toward the receiving mandrel so that the axes are arranged relative to one another (e.g. aligned) in such a way that a movement of the core or coil can be achieved in step h). In particular, the movement comprises only a rotation of the support about the axis of rotation or a movement of the support arm about the support in a circumferential direction. Alternatively, the movement additionally comprises a movement of the support arm along the first axis, wherein the movement is achieved in particular relative to the support or together with the support by means of the device. If necessary, the movement of the support along a determined travel path is achieved by means of the device.

[0064] Within the scope of step h), the core or coil is moved along the axis starting from the support arm towards the receiving mandrel. In particular, the movement is realized by a (described) first movement unit, which is arranged at the device. In particular, within the scope of step h), the coil or core is pushed downward from the support arm and onto the receiving mandrel.

[0065] Within the scope of step i), a winding station is operated and the film is wound onto a core for forming a coil, or the film is unwound from a coil.

[0066] In particular, at least in step e), only the carrying arm is displaced relative to the support along the first axis. Alternatively, at least in step e), at least the support is moved along a travel path, wherein the device for moving the support is an integral part of the device and the travel path of the support is unchangeable relative to the winding station.

[0067] The method can be carried out in particular by a system for data processing (e.g. a controller), wherein the system has a device which is equipped, configured or programmed to be suitable for carrying out the steps of the method, or the device carries out the method. With the system, at least the following can be carried out or regulated / controlled:

[0073] The components of the system include, for example, a processor and a memory in which commands to be executed by the processor are stored, as well as data lines or transmission devices which enable the transmission of commands, measured values, data, etc. between the listed elements.

[0074] Furthermore, a computer program is proposed which comprises instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to carry out the described method or the steps of the described method.

[0075] Furthermore, a computer-readable storage medium is proposed, which comprises instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to carry out the described method or the steps of the described method.

[0076] Statements concerning a device may be transferred in particular to an assembly, a method, a battery cell, a system for data processing and a computer-implemented method (ie a computer or a processor, a computer-readable storage medium), and vice versa.

Within the scope of step i) of the method, the winding stations 5 are operated and a film 4 is wound onto the core 3 for forming a coil 2 (right winding station 5) and a film 4 is unwound from the coil 2 (left winding station 5). Between the winding stations 5, the film 4 can be processed, for example coated or trimmed.

Figure 6 The method according to step d) is shown Figure 5 Component 14. Figure 7 The method according to step e) is shown Figure 6 Component 14. Figure 8 Directly after step f) of the method, the Figure 7 Component 14. Fig. 9 shows that during step g) of the method the Figure 8 Component 14. Fig.10 The method according to step h) is shown Fig. 9 Component 14. Fig.11 Directly after step h) of the method, the Fig.10The following describes the components 14 together. Figures 2 to 11 . See About Figure 1 's explanation.

[0099] The assembly 14 comprises an apparatus 1 and a winding station 5. The apparatus 1 is arranged in a fixed position relative to the winding station 5, at which the film 4 can be unwound from the coil 2 or can be wound onto the core 3. The apparatus 1 has a support 6 and a support arm 7 arranged at the support 6. The support arm 7 extends along a first axis 8 extending horizontally. The hollow core 3 or the coil 2 can be arranged or arranged on the support arm 7 to be movable along the first axis 8. The support 6 can be rotated with the support arm 7 relative to the winding station 5 about a rotation axis 10 extending along a vertical first direction 9.

[0100] The sleeve-shaped core 3 and also the coil 2 (i.e. the core 3 including the film 4 wound thereon) are designed in a known manner. The core 3 has a sleeve-shaped cavity. The circumferential surface of the core 3 is designed cylindrically. The core 3 extends from a first end 20 to a second end 21, wherein the film 4 is arranged or can be arranged on the circumferential surface 22 existing between the ends 20, 21.

[0101] The winding station 5 has a receiving mandrel 15. The receiving mandrel 15 extends along a horizontally extending second axis 16, wherein the coil 2 or the hollow core 3 can be arranged or arranged to be movable along the second axis on the receiving mandrel 15. The carrying arm 7 of the device 1 and the receiving mandrel 15 of the winding station 5 can be arranged to be suitable for transferring the coil 2 or the core 3 (from the carrying arm 7 to the receiving mandrel 15 and vice versa), for example with the axes 8, 16 aligned with each other.

[0102] The support 6 extends substantially along a first direction 9. The support arm 7 is connected to the support 6 or is movably arranged thereon.

[0103] The support arm 7 can be rotated together with the support 6 or independently of the support 6 about the rotation axis 10. The support arm 7 can also be displaced along a first axis 8 and along a first direction 9 relative to the support 6.

[0104] The device 1 additionally comprises a first movement unit 11 for moving the coil 2 or the core 3 arranged on the carrying arm 7 along the first axis 8. The first movement unit 11 is arranged at the carrying arm 7.

[0105] Via the first displacement unit 11 , the coil 2 or the core 3 can be displaced on the carrying arm 7 , in particular to such an extent that the coil 2 or the core 3 can be pushed onto the receiving mandrel 15 of the winding station 5 .

[0106] The support arm 7 extends through the sleeve-shaped core 3 (if applicable the material coil 2 ) or can be pushed into the sleeve-shaped cavity.

[0107] The support 6 is fixed in position relative to the winding station 5. Fixed in position here means that the position of the support 6 relative to the winding station 5 cannot be changed. However, a rotation of the support 6 about the rotation axis 10 is possible here.

[0108] The support arm 7 or the support 6 (or the device 1 ) is arranged in a starting position before step a) (see for example Figure 2 ), in which, for example, any interaction with the winding station 5 or the provided storage devices 18 , 19 (eg collisions or impairment of the freedom of movement) can be excluded.

[0109] Within the scope of step a), the support arm 7 is moved (starting from a starting position) towards the receiving mandrel 15 so that the axes 8, 16 are arranged relative to one another (e.g. aligned) such that the coil 2 can be moved towards the support arm 7 (see Figure 4 ). This movement consists only of a rotation of the support 6 or the support arm 7 about the rotation axis 10.

[0110] Within the scope of step b), the coil 2 is moved along the axes 8, 16 starting from the receiving mandrel 15 towards the carrying arm 7 of the device 1 (see Figure 4 The movement is effected by a second movement unit 17 arranged at the winding station 5. Within the scope of step b), the coil 2 is pushed downward from the receiving mandrel 15 and onto the carrying arm 7 (see Figure 5 ).

[0111] Within the scope of step c), the support arm 7 is moved towards the first storage device 18 for the coils 2. This movement consists only of a rotation of the support 6 or the support arm 7 about the rotation axis 10 (see Figure 6 ).

[0112] Within the scope of step d), the coil 2 is deposited on the first depositing device 18. This depositing consists only of a movement of the carrying arm 7 along the first direction 9 (see Figure 6 ).

[0113] The storage device 18 has a receptacle 23 via which only the core 3 is accessible, so that the wound film 4 is not contacted by the storage device 18 . The ends 20 , 21 of the sleeve-shaped core 3 are supported by the receptacle 23 .

[0114] After the coil 2 has been deposited in the first storage device 18, the support arm 7 is removed from the sleeve-shaped cavity of the core 3. In this case, the support arm 7 is moved only along the first axis 8 relative to the support 6 (see Figure 7 ).

[0115] Within the scope of step e), the support arm 7 is moved towards the second storage device 19 for the cores 3. This movement consists only of a displacement of the support arm 7 along the first axis 8, wherein the movement is performed relative to the support 6 (see Figure 8).

[0116] Within the scope of step f), the (new) core 3 is arranged on the support arm 7. This step consists merely in pushing the support arm 7 along the first axis 8 into the sleeve-shaped core 3. The storage devices 18, 19 are arranged for this purpose so that the cores 3 stored on the storage devices 18, 19 are arranged coaxially with respect to one another.

[0117] Within the scope of step g), the support arm 7 is moved toward the receiving mandrel 15 so that the axes 8, 16 are arranged in such a way (e.g. aligned) with one another that the core 3 can be moved toward the receiving mandrel 15. This movement includes a rotation of the support 6 or the support arm 7 about the rotation axis 10. In addition, a movement of the support arm 7 in the first direction 9 is required in order to remove the core 3 from the second storage device 19 (see Fig. 9 and Fig.10 ).

[0118] Within the scope of step h), the core 3 is moved along the axes 8, 16 arranged coaxially with one another, starting from the support arm 7 towards the receiving mandrel 15. This movement is achieved by a first movement unit 11 arranged at the device 1. Within the scope of step h), the core 3 is pushed downward from the support arm 7 and onto the receiving mandrel 15 (see Fig.11 ).

[0119] Within the scope of step i), the winding station 5 is operated to wind the film 4 onto the core 3 for forming the coil 2 or to unwind the film 4 from the coil 2 (see Figure 1 ).

[0120] Fig.12 A second embodiment variant of the assembly 14 and step d of the method are shown. Within the scope of step d), the coil 2 is deposited on a first depositing device 18. The depositing device 18 is designed in this case so that the coil 2 (or the core 3) can only be transferred from the support arm 7 to the depositing device 18 by a movement along the first axis. For this purpose, the receptacle 23 of the depositing device 18 is designed in the manner of a cantilever, onto which the coil 2 can be pushed (similar to the support arm 7 of the device 1 or the receptacle mandrel 15 of the winding station 5). The depositing consists only of a rotation of the support arm 7 about the axis of rotation 10, so that after the rotation, the first axis 8 is (essentially) arranged coaxially with the receptacle 23 of the depositing device 18.

[0121] Fig.13 Shown according to Fig.12 As part of step e), the support arm 7 is moved towards the second storage device 19 for the cores 3. After the coil 3 has been deposited, the support arm 7 is moved (not mandatory) in the first direction 9 relative to the support 6 and the support 6 is rotated about the rotation axis 10 towards the second storage device 19.

[0122] Fig.14 A third embodiment variant of the assembly 14 and step c) of the method are shown. Fig.15 Shown according to Fig.14 Component 14 and step e) of the method. Fig.16 Shown according to Fig.15 Component 14 and step g) of the method. Fig.17 Shown according to Fig.16 The component 14 and the step h) of the method are described together below Figures 14 to 17 . See About Figures 1 to 13 's explanation.

[0123] Within the scope of step c), the support arm 7 is moved towards the first storage device 18 for the coils 2. This movement includes a rotation of the support 6 or the support arm 7 about the rotation axis 10. In addition, a movement of the support arm 7 along the first direction 9 is required (see Fig.14 ).

[0124] Within the scope of step d), the coil 2 is deposited on the first depositing device 18. This depositing requires only a movement of the carrying arm 7 along the first direction 9 (see Fig.14 ).

[0125] After the coil 2 has been deposited in the storage device 18, the support arm 7 is removed from the sleeve-shaped cavity of the core 3. This movement is carried out together with the support 6 by the device 12 (see Fig.15 ). If necessary, the support arm 7 is moved along the first axis 8 in this process.

[0126] Within the scope of step e), the support arm 7 is moved toward the second storage device 19 for the cores 3. This movement may include a rotation of the support 6 about the rotation axis 10 and a movement along a defined travel path 13 by the device 12 together with the support 6 (see Fig.15 ).

[0127] Within the scope of step f), the new core 3 is arranged on the support arm 7. This step consists only in pushing the support arm 7 along the first axis 8 into the sleeve-shaped core 3. This movement is optionally carried out together with the support 6 by means of the device 12 (see Fig.15 and Fig.16 ).

[0128] Within the scope of step g), the support arm 7 is moved toward the receiving spindle 15 so that the axes 8, 16 are arranged relative to each other (e.g. aligned) so that a movement can be achieved within the scope of step h). This movement includes a rotation of the support 6 about the rotation axis 10 and a movement along the determined travel path 13 by the device 12 together with the support 6 (see Fig.16 ).

[0129] Within the scope of step h), the core 3 is moved along the axis 8, 16 starting from the carrier arm 7 towards the receiving mandrel 15. This movement is realized by the first movement unit 11 arranged at the device 1. Within the scope of step h), the core 3 is pushed downward from the carrier arm 7 and onto the receiving mandrel 15.
