Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a connector. Background Art

[0002] In the past, the connector mounted on the vehicle has an outer housing, an inner housing arranged inside the outer housing, and a terminal held in the inner housing. The end of the wire is electrically connected to the terminal. The other connector connected to the connector has a other terminal that is electrically connected to the terminal by being inserted into the connector.

[0003] In such a connector, for example, as described in Patent Document 1, there is a connector in which a mating terminal is inserted in a direction parallel to the direction in which the electric wire extends. The connector described in Patent Document 1 is provided with an anti-sway member, which is mounted on an opening of an external housing provided in the connector. When the connector and the mating connector are connected, the mating terminal is inserted into the interior of the connector from the opening of the external housing. When the connector and the mating connector are mated, the anti-sway member restricts the movement of the opening relative to the mating connector. Thus, it is possible to suppress the contact portion of the terminal and the mating terminal from sliding due to vibrations generated in the vehicle environment. [0004] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2012-18803 Summary of the invention Problems to be solved by the invention

[0005] However, there are connectors in which the mating terminal is inserted in a direction intersecting the direction in which the wire extends. Such connectors have the following advantages over connectors in which the mating terminal is inserted in a direction parallel to the direction in which the wire extends: when connected to a mating connector fixed to a box of a device, the protrusion from the surface of the box is small. However, when such connectors are used, the wires are arranged in a manner parallel to the surface of the box of the device. Therefore, when the wires vibrate due to vibrations generated in the vehicle environment, the vibrations are transmitted to the contact points of the terminal and the mating terminal, and there is a problem that the terminal and the mating terminal are easily worn.

[0006] Therefore, for example, it is considered to add a rattle-preventing member described in Patent Document 1 to a connector in which the other terminal is inserted in a direction intersecting the direction in which the wire extends. However, if the rattle-preventing member is added to the connector, a component is added only for providing the connector with a vibration-resistant structure, and thus the number of components may increase.

[0007] On the other hand, even if the connector has a mating terminal inserted in a direction intersecting the direction in which the electric wire extends, the connector may not have a vibration-resistant structure when it is disposed in a location in a vehicle far from a vibration source.

[0008] An object of the present invention is to provide a connector in which a terminal to be connected to the terminal is inserted in a direction intersecting with a direction in which an electric wire extends, and in which a vibration-resistant structure can be selected without increasing the number of parts. Solutions to Solve Problems

[0009] The connector of the present invention comprises: an outer housing made of synthetic resin, having a first opening and a second opening, a counterpart terminal of a counterpart connector being inserted into the first opening along a first direction, and an electric wire passing through the second opening along a second direction intersecting the first direction; an inner housing made of synthetic resin, arranged inside the outer housing; a terminal held inside the inner housing, electrically connected to the electric wire and to the counterpart terminal; and an inner housing holder mounted on the second opening to fix the inner housing inside the outer housing, wherein either a first inner housing holder or a second inner housing holder can be selected as the inner housing holder, the first inner housing holder having: a first mounting portion having a first through hole through which the electric wire passes and being embedded in the second opening; and a fixing leg extending from the first mounting portion to the outside of the outer housing and being fixed to a device equipped with the counterpart connector, the second inner housing holder having a second mounting portion having a second through hole through which the electric wire passes and being embedded in the second opening. Effects of the Invention

[0010] According to the connector of the present invention, in a connector in which a terminal to be connected to a terminal is inserted in a direction intersecting with a direction in which the electric wire extends, it is possible to select whether or not to have a vibration-proof structure without increasing the number of parts. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0012] [Description of Embodiments of the Invention] First, embodiments of the present invention will be described by way of examples. The connector of the present invention, [1] comprising: an outer housing made of synthetic resin, having a first opening and a second opening, wherein a counterpart terminal of a counterpart connector is inserted into the first opening along a first direction, and an electric wire is passed through the second opening along a second direction intersecting the first direction; an inner housing made of synthetic resin, arranged inside the outer housing; a terminal held inside the inner housing, electrically connected to the electric wire and to the counterpart terminal; and an inner housing holder mounted on the second opening to fix the inner housing inside the outer housing, wherein either a first inner housing holder or a second inner housing holder can be selected as the inner housing holder, the first inner housing holder having: a first mounting portion having a first through hole through which the electric wire is passed and fitted into the second opening; and a fixing leg extending from the first mounting portion to the outside of the outer housing and fixed to a device equipped with the counterpart connector, the second inner housing holder having a second mounting portion having a second through hole through which the electric wire is passed and fitted into the second opening.

[0013] According to this structure, when the first internal shell retaining body is selected as the internal shell retaining body, the fixed leg can be fixed to the device. That is, the first internal shell retaining body installed in the second opening portion through which the electric wire passes can be fixed to the device. When the fixed leg is fixed to the device, the external shell on which the first internal shell retaining body is installed and the internal shell arranged inside the external shell are integrated with the device, and therefore it is difficult to move relative to the device. Therefore, the vibration of the external shell and the internal shell caused by the vibration of the electric wire can be suppressed. In addition, when the connector and the other connector are connected, the following situation can be suppressed: due to the vibration of the electric wire, the terminal held inside the internal shell and the other terminal move relative to each other. Therefore, the wear of the contact portion of the terminal and the other terminal can be suppressed. In this way, when the first internal shell retaining body is selected as the internal shell retaining body, the connector can have a vibration-resistant structure.

[0014] In addition, the first inner housing retainer is a component that adds a function of providing the connector with a vibration-resistant structure to a component that has a function of fixing the inner housing to the inside of the outer housing. That is, the first inner housing retainer is not a component that is used only to provide the connector with a vibration-resistant structure. Therefore, compared with the case where a component that is used only to provide the connector with a vibration-resistant structure is added to the connector, an increase in the number of components can be suppressed.

[0015] In addition, the second inner housing holding body does not have a fixing leg. Therefore, by selecting the second inner housing holding body as the inner housing holding body, a connector without a vibration-resistant structure can be manufactured.

[0016] Thus, in a connector in which a terminal to be connected to a terminal is inserted in a direction intersecting the direction in which the electric wire extends, it is possible to select whether or not to have a vibration-resistant structure without increasing the number of parts.

[0017] [2] In the above [1], the first internal housing retaining body may be made of metal. According to this structure, the rigidity of the first internal housing retaining body can be improved compared to the case where the first internal housing retaining body is made of synthetic resin. Therefore, the vibration of the external housing and the internal housing caused by the vibration of the wire can be further suppressed. In addition, when the connector and the mating connector are connected, the following situation can be further suppressed: the terminal held inside the internal housing and the mating terminal move relative to each other due to the vibration of the wire.

[0018] [3] In the above [2], the first inner casing holder may be made of aluminum die casting. According to this structure, the first inner casing holder made of metal can be easily manufactured.

[0019] [4] In any one of [1] to [3] above, the second inner shell holder may be made of synthetic resin. According to this structure, the second inner shell holder can be manufactured at a low cost and can be made lighter than when the second inner shell holder is made of metal.

[0020] [5] In the above [2] or [3], there is further provided a shielding shell, the shielding shell has conductivity and covers the outer surface of the internal shell, and the first internal shell retaining body has a contact portion, and the contact portion is electrically connected to the shielding shell by contacting the shielding shell. According to this structure, when the first internal shell retaining body is selected as the internal shell retaining body, the first internal shell retaining body and the shielding shell are electrically connected. And, when the box body of the device equipped with the other connector has conductivity, the first internal shell retaining body and the box body can be electrically connected by making the fixing leg contact with the box body and fixing it to the box body. Therefore, the shielding shell can be electrically connected to the box body via the first internal shell retaining body.

[0021] [6] In any one of the above [1] to [5], the fixing leg may have a fixing hole, and a fastening member for fixing the fixing leg to the device may pass through the fixing hole, and the fixing holes may be respectively provided on both sides of the outer shell in a direction orthogonal to the second direction when viewed from the first direction. According to this structure, the first inner shell retaining body can be stably fixed to the device, compared with a case where there is only one fixing hole, or a case where there is only a fixing hole on one side of the outer shell in a direction orthogonal to the second direction when viewed from the first direction. Therefore, the vibration of the outer shell and the inner shell caused by the vibration of the electric wire can be further suppressed. Furthermore, when the connector and the mating connector are connected, the following situation can be further suppressed: the terminal held inside the inner shell and the mating terminal move relative to each other due to the vibration of the electric wire.

[0022] [7] In any one of [1] to [6] above, the first mounting portion may be accommodated within the width of the fixed leg in the second direction. According to this structure, the width of the first inner housing retaining body in the second direction can be reduced compared to a case where the first mounting portion is not accommodated within the width of the fixed leg in the second direction. Therefore, the size of the connector in the second direction can be suppressed.

[0023] [8] In any one of the above [1] to [7], a first sealing member may be further provided, wherein the first sealing member seals between the inner peripheral surface of the first through hole or the inner peripheral surface of the second through hole and the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire. According to this structure, the first sealing member can be used to seal between the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire and the inner peripheral surface of the first through hole or the second through hole.

[0024] [9] In the above [8], the outer shell may be in the shape of a tube extending along the second direction, having a first end and a second end on the side opposite to the first end in the second direction, the first end being closed, the second opening being located at the second end, the first opening being located between the first end and the second end, and further comprising a second sealing member, the second sealing member sealing between the outer peripheral surface of the first mounting portion or the outer peripheral surface of the second mounting portion and the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell. According to this structure, the second sealing member can prevent liquid such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer shell from between the outer peripheral surface of the first mounting portion or the second mounting portion and the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell.

[0025]

[10] In the above [9], the electric wire is a shielded electric wire, comprising a core wire, a first insulating coating covering the outer periphery of the core wire, an electromagnetic shielding member having conductivity and covering the outer periphery of the first insulating coating, and a second insulating coating covering the outer periphery of the electromagnetic shielding member, and further comprising a shielding shell having conductivity and covering the outer surface of the inner shell, the electromagnetic shielding member being electrically connected to the shielding shell, and the electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member and the shielding shell being located in the inner space of the outer shell and being located at a position where the second sealing member suppresses the intrusion of liquid from the second opening. According to this structure, it is possible to suppress the adhesion of liquid such as water to the electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member and the shielding shell.

[0026]

[11] In the above [9] or

[10] , a third sealing member may be further provided, the third sealing member being interposed between the external housing and the mating connector to prevent liquid from entering the interior of the external housing from the first opening, and the electrical connection portion between the electromagnetic shielding member and the shielding shell being located in the internal space of the external housing and at a location where the third sealing member prevents liquid from entering from the first opening. According to this structure, it is possible to further prevent liquid such as water from adhering to the electrical connection portion between the electromagnetic shielding member and the shielding shell.

In each of the drawings, for the sake of convenience, a part of the structure is sometimes enlarged or simplified. In addition, the size ratio of each part is sometimes different in each of the drawings. In each of the drawings, the XYZ axes that are orthogonal to each other are shown. The "orthogonal" in this specification includes not only the case of being strictly orthogonal, but also the case of being roughly orthogonal within the range of the effect of the present embodiment. In addition, the "cylindrical" in this specification includes not only a cylindrical shape with a circumferential wall continuously formed throughout the entire circumference, but also a shape formed by combining multiple parts to form a cylindrical shape. In addition, the term "annular" used in this specification sometimes refers to any structure that forms a ring, that is, a continuous shape without an end, and a structure that is annular as a whole with a gap such as a C-shaped shape. The shape of the "annular" includes a circle, an ellipse, and a polygon with a sharp or rounded corner, but is not limited to this. In addition, the terms "first", "second", "third", etc. in this specification are only used to distinguish objects, and do not sort the objects. In addition, the expression "at least one" used in this specification refers to "more than one" of the desired options. As an example, regarding the expression "at least one" used in this specification, if the number of options is two, it means "only one option" or "both options". As another example, regarding the expression "at least one" used in this specification, if the number of options is three or more, it means "only one option" or "a combination of two or more arbitrary options". In addition, the present invention is not limited to these examples, but is shown in the claims, and is intended to include all modifications within the meaning and scope equivalent to the claims.

[0028] Hereinafter, one embodiment of the connector will be described. like Figures 1 to 3 As shown, the connector 40 is disposed at the end of the wiring harness. Figure 3 yes Figure 2 3-3 sectional view in FIG. The connector 40 is detachably connected to the counterpart connector 20. The connector 40 and the counterpart connector 20 are arranged in a vehicle. The vehicle has a plurality of devices such as a high-voltage battery, an inverter, and an electric motor for driving wheels. The counterpart connector 20 is mounted on a device 30 among the plurality of devices. The device 30 is, for example, an inverter. The device 30 has a housing 31. The housing 31 has, for example, conductivity.

[0029] (Structure of the mating connector 20) like Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, the mating connector 20 includes a mating connector housing 21 and mating terminals 22 . Figure 5 yes Figure 3 . In addition, the counterpart connector housing 21 is hereinafter referred to as "counter housing 21". The counterpart connector 20 includes, for example, two counterpart terminals 22, namely, counterpart terminals 22a and 22b. The counterpart terminals 22a and 22b of the counterpart connector 20 are inserted into the connector 40 along the first direction D1. The first direction D1 is, for example, a direction along the Z axis.

[0030] The counterpart housing 21 is made of, for example, synthetic resin. For example, the counterpart housing 21 includes a main body 23 extending along the first direction D1 and a fixing portion 24 extending from the outer peripheral surface of the main body 23 to the outside of the main body 23. The main body 23 and the fixing portion 24 are integrally formed. The fixing portion 24 is, for example, flange-shaped.

[0031] The counterpart terminals 22a and 22b are each held inside the main body portion 23. The counterpart terminals 22a and 22b are each formed of a metal material such as copper, a copper alloy, aluminum, or an aluminum alloy.

[0032] The counterpart connector 20 may further include a counterpart shielding shell 25. In addition, the counterpart shielding shell 25 is hereinafter referred to as "counter shell 25". The counterpart shell 25 is, for example, held on the inner side of the main body 23. The counterpart shell 25 is, for example, formed in a cylindrical shape extending along the first direction D1. The counterpart shell 25 surrounds the counterpart terminals 22a and 22b. That is, the counterpart terminals 22a and 22b are arranged on the inner side of the counterpart shell 25. The counterpart shell 25 is made of a conductive material. For example, the counterpart shell 25 is formed by stamping a metal plate.

[0033] The counterpart shell 25 may also have one or more contact portions 26 that contact the housing 31. The position of the contact portion 26 in the Z-axis direction is offset in the direction opposite to the first direction D1 compared to the position of the fixing portion 24 in the Z-axis direction. Each contact portion 26 is formed, for example, by folding back a portion of the end region of the counterpart shell 25 in the direction opposite to the first direction D1 toward the outside of the counterpart shell 25 (should be referred to as a "shape"). Each contact portion 26 is elastically deformable.

[0034] The housing 31 has an assembly hole 32 for assembling the counterpart connector 20. The assembly hole 32 connects the inside and outside of the housing 31. The counterpart connector 20 is configured in a state where a portion of the counterpart connector 20 that protrudes further to the side opposite to the first direction D1 than the fixing portion 24 is inserted into the assembly hole 32 from the outside of the housing 31. The counterpart connector 20 is mounted on the device 30 by fixing the fixing portion 24 to the housing 31, for example, using bolts or screws. In addition, the counterpart connector 20 may also have a sealing member 27 between the outer surface of the housing 31 and the fixing portion 24. When viewed from the first direction D1, the sealing member 27 forms a ring shape surrounding the main body 23. The sealing member 27 prevents liquids such as water from penetrating into the interior of the housing 31 from the assembly hole 32.

[0035] (Structure of Connector 40) like Figure 3 and Figure 7 As shown, the connector 40 includes an outer housing 41, an inner housing 42, a terminal 43, and an inner housing holder 45. Hereinafter, the outer housing 41 is referred to as "outer housing 41", the inner housing 42 is referred to as "inner housing 42", and the inner housing holder 45 is referred to as "inner housing holder 45". In addition, the connector 40 may further include a shielding shell 46. The connector 40 includes two terminals 43, for example, a terminal 43a and a terminal 43b. The ends of the electric wires 51a and 51b are electrically connected to the terminals 43a and 43b, respectively.

[0036] like Figure 4 As shown, the wires 51a and 51b are shielded wires having an electromagnetic shielding structure, for example. Figure 4 yes Figure 3 A partial enlarged view of . Figure 4 Only the wire 51a is shown in the figure. The wires 51a and 51b have, for example, the same structure. The wires 51a and 51b each have, for example, a core wire 52 made of a conductor, a first insulating coating 53 surrounding the outer periphery of the core wire 52, an electromagnetic shielding member 54 covering the outer periphery of the first insulating coating 53, and a second insulating coating 55 covering the outer periphery of the electromagnetic shielding member 54. The wires 51a and 51b are each, for example, high-voltage wires that can cope with high voltages and large currents. As the wires 51a and 51b, for example, a core wire 52 with a cross-sectional area of 95mm 2 As the material of the core wire 52, for example, a metal material such as copper or aluminum can be used. The first insulating coating layer 53 and the second insulating coating layer 55 are each made of an insulating material such as a synthetic resin. The electromagnetic shielding member 54 is, for example, a braided wire in which conductive wires such as copper alloys and aluminum alloys are braided into a cylindrical shape. In addition, the wires 51a and 51b can each be a non-shielded wire that does not have an electromagnetic shielding structure.

[0037] The wires 51a and 51b extend along the second direction D2 intersecting the first direction D1. That is, the connector 40 is a connector in which the counterpart terminals 22a and 22b connected to the terminals 43a and 43b are inserted along the direction intersecting the direction in which the wires 51a and 51b extend. The second direction D2 is, for example, a direction orthogonal to the first direction D1. The second direction D2 is, for example, a direction along the X-axis. In addition, a direction orthogonal to the first direction D1 and to the second direction D2 is referred to as a third direction D3. The third direction D3 is, for example, a direction along the Y-axis. Hereinafter, unless otherwise specified, the first direction D1, the second direction D2, and the third direction D3 are directions in the assembled state of the connector 40.

[0038] (Structure of External Casing 41) like Figure 3 As shown, the outer shell 41 constitutes the outer shell of the connector 40. The outer shell 41 is made of synthetic resin. The outer shell 41 is formed into a cylindrical shape extending along the second direction D2. The outer shell 41 has a first end 61 and a second end 62 on the side opposite to the first end 61 in the second direction D2. The first end 61 of the outer shell 41 is closed.

[0039] like Figure 5 and Figure 8 As shown, the outer shell 41 has a first opening 63, and the counterpart terminals 22a and 22b of the counterpart connector 20 are inserted into the first opening 63 along the first direction D1. The first opening 63 is located between the first end 61 and the second end 62 in the Y-axis direction. For example, the position of the first opening 63 in the Y-axis direction is offset from the center of the outer shell 41 in the Y-axis direction in the direction opposite to the second direction D2.

[0040] The connector 40 may further include a third sealing member 64 between the outer shell 41 and the counterpart connector 20. The third sealing member 64 is, for example, disposed on the periphery of the first opening 63 of the outer shell 41. When viewed from the first direction D1, the third sealing member 64 is, for example, formed in a ring shape surrounding the periphery of the first opening 63. The third sealing member 64 seals between the connector 40 and the counterpart housing 21. Furthermore, the third sealing member 64 prevents liquids such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer shell 41 from the first opening 63. The third sealing member 64 is, for example, a rubber ring. In addition, a cover 65 having a frame shape formed along the inner peripheral edge of the first opening 63 may also be installed on the first opening 63.

[0041] like Figure 3 As shown, the outer shell 41 has a second opening 66 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass along the second direction D2. The second opening 66 is located at the second end 62 of the outer shell 41. The first opening 63 and the second opening 66 each connect the inside and the outside of the outer shell 41.

[0042] (Structure of the inner housing 42) The inner housing 42 is arranged inside the outer housing 41. The inner housing 42 is inserted into the outer housing 41 from the second opening 66 in the direction opposite to the second direction D2. The inner housing 42 is held by the outer housing 41 so that the outer housing 41 and the inner housing 42 cannot move relative to each other in the first direction D1 and the third direction D3. The inner housing 42 is made of synthetic resin. The inner housing 42 includes, for example, an inner housing body 71 and a cover body 72. In addition, the inner housing body 71 is hereinafter referred to as the "inner housing body 71".

[0043] like Figures 3 to 5As shown, the inner housing body 71 has a storage recess 73 for storing the terminals 43a and 43b. The storage recess 73 is, for example, recessed in a direction opposite to the first direction D1. And, the storage recess 73 is open in the first direction D1. The inner housing body 71 has a terminal insertion opening 74 at the bottom of the storage recess 73. For example, the inner housing body 71 has two terminal insertion openings 74, the same number as the number of the terminals 43a and 43b. Each terminal insertion opening 74 passes through the bottom of the storage recess 73 in the first direction D1. Figure 8 As shown, the terminal insertion opening 74 is exposed from the first opening 63 to the outside of the connector 40. The counterpart terminals 22a and 22b inserted into the connector 40 from the first opening 63 are inserted into the inner housing 42 through the terminal insertion opening 74, respectively.

[0044] like Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the inner housing body 71 has a wire through-hole 75 through which the wires 51a and 51b pass at the end in the second direction D2. The wire through-hole 75 is open in the second direction D2. In addition, the inner housing body 71 has a not-shown anti-detachment protrusion that protrudes from the inner surface of the storage recess 73 to the inner side of the storage recess 73. The inner housing body 71 has, for example, two anti-detachment protrusions that are the same number as the terminals 43a and 43b. The two anti-detachment protrusions are respectively abutted against the terminals 43a and 43b arranged in the storage recess 73 from the direction opposite to the second direction D2, thereby suppressing the terminals 43a and 43b from moving in the direction of the wire through-hole 75 along the second direction D2.

[0045] like Figure 5 and Fig. 9 As shown, the cover body 72 is detachably mounted on the inner case body 71 from a direction opposite to the first direction D1 so as to close the opening of the housing recess 73 . (Structure of terminal 43) like Figure 3 and Fig.11 As shown, the terminals 43a, 43b are held inside the inner housing 42. In addition, Figure 3 Only terminal 43a is shown in FIG. Figure 3 In the figure, the terminal 43b is located on the back side of the terminal 43a. The terminals 43a and 43b are each formed of a metal material such as copper, copper alloy, aluminum, aluminum alloy, etc. The terminal 43a and the terminal 43b are, for example, the same shape. The terminals 43a and 43b are, for example, plate-shaped. The terminals 43a and 43b are each arranged in the storage recess 73 in such a way that their respective thickness directions are along the third direction D3. In addition, the terminal 43a and the terminal 43b are arranged in parallel inside the storage recess 73, for example, with a gap in the third direction D3.

[0046] The terminals 43a and 43b are electrically connected to the wires 51a and 51b, respectively. For example, the ends of the wires 51a and 51b are electrically connected to the base end regions of the terminals 43a and 43b, respectively. In addition, the base ends of the terminals 43a and 43b are the ends of the terminals 43a and 43b in the X-axis direction that face the second direction D2. In addition, the top ends of the terminals 43a and 43b are the ends of the terminals 43a and 43b in the X-axis direction that face the direction opposite to the second direction D2. The terminal 43a and the wire 51a are joined, for example, by welding such as crimping, ultrasonic welding, laser welding, or other known joining methods. The terminal 43b and the wire 51b are also joined by the same joining method.

[0047] The terminal 43a is inserted into the storage recess 73 from the wire insertion opening 75 together with the end of the wire 51a. In addition, the terminal 43b is inserted into the storage recess 73 from the wire insertion opening 75 together with the end of the wire 51b. The electrically connected portion between the terminal 43a and the wire 51a and the electrically connected portion between the terminal 43b and the wire 51b are arranged inside the inner housing 42.

[0048] When the connector 40 and the mating connector 20 are connected, the mating terminals 22a and 22b inserted into the connector 40 from the first opening 63 along the first direction D1 are respectively inserted into the inner housing 42 from the terminal insertion port 74. Furthermore, the mating terminals 22a and 22b overlap with the terminals 43a and 43b in the third direction D3 inside the inner housing 42, and are in contact with the terminals 43a and 43b, respectively. The mating terminals 22a and 22b are in contact with the terminals 43a and 43b, respectively, so that the mating terminals 22a and 22b are electrically connected to the terminals 43a and 43b, respectively.

[0049] like Figure 3 and Figure 5 As shown, the connector 40 may also have the same number of clamping terminals 76 as the terminals 43a and 43b. The two clamping terminals 76 are arranged inside the inner housing 42. The shape of each clamping terminal 76, for example, viewed from the second direction D2, is a U-shape that opens in the direction opposite to the first direction D1. Each clamping terminal 76 is formed of a metal material such as copper, copper alloy, aluminum, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc. Each clamping terminal 76 is formed by stamping a metal plate.

[0050] One of the two clamping terminals 76 clamps the other terminal 22a and the terminal 43a inserted into the inner housing 42, thereby pressing the other terminal 22a to the terminal 43a. In addition, the other clamping terminal 76 clamps the other terminal 22b and the terminal 43b inserted into the inner housing 42, thereby pressing the other terminal 22b to the terminal 43b.

[0051] (Structure of Shield Case 46) like Figure 3 and Fig. 9 As shown, the shielding shell 46 covers the outer surface of the inner housing 42. The shielding shell 46 is arranged inside the outer housing 41 together with the inner housing 42. For example, the shielding shell 46 is inserted into the outer housing 41 along the second direction D2 from the second opening 66 together with the inner housing 42. The shielding shell 46 has conductivity. For example, the shielding shell 46 is formed by stamping a metal plate.

[0052] The shielding shell 46 is in a cylindrical shape extending along the second direction D2. The shielding shell 46 has a third end 81 and a fourth end 82 on the side opposite to the third end 81 in the second direction D2. The third end 81 of the shielding shell 46 is closed. The shielding shell 46 has a third opening 83, and the counterpart terminals 22a and 22b are inserted into the third opening 83 along the first direction D1. The third opening 83 overlaps with the first opening 63 in the first direction D1.

[0053] The shield shell 46 has a fourth opening 84 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass along the second direction D2. The fourth opening 84 is located at the fourth end 82 of the shield shell 46. The fourth opening 84 overlaps with the second opening 66 in the second direction D2.

[0054] like Figure 4 As shown, the shield shell 46 is electrically connected to the electromagnetic shielding members 54 of the electric wires 51a and 51b in the end region including the fourth opening 84. The shield shell 46 has a plurality of contact portions 85 in the end region including the fourth end 82. Each contact portion 85 is formed, for example, by folding back the end portion of the shield shell 46 in the second direction D2 toward the inside of the shield shell 46. The plurality of contact portions 85 are arranged along the periphery of the fourth opening 84.

[0055] A connection shielding member 91 electrically connected to the electromagnetic shielding member 54 is attached to the electric wire 51a. The connection shielding member 91 is, for example, in a ring shape. The electric wire 51a passes through the connection shielding member 91 along the second direction D2. The electromagnetic shielding member 54 exposed in the end region of the electric wire 51a contacts the connection shielding member 91, so that the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the connection shielding member 91 are electrically connected. The connection shielding member 91 is interposed between the end region including the fourth opening 84 of the shielding shell 46 and the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire 51a. In addition, some of the plurality of contact portions 85 contact the outer peripheral surface of the connection shielding member 91. The contact portions 85 contact the connection shielding member 91, so that the shielding shell 46 is electrically connected to the electromagnetic shielding member 54 via the connection shielding member 91.

[0056] The electric wire 51 b is also provided with a similar connection shield member 91 . Also, similarly to the electromagnetic shield member 54 of the electric wire 51 a , the electromagnetic shield member 54 of the electric wire 51 b is also electrically connected to the shield case 46 via the connection shield member 91 .

[0057] like Figure 5 and Fig.10 As shown, when the connector 40 and the mating connector 20 are connected, the mating shell 25 is inserted into the shielding shell 46 from the third opening 83 along the first direction D1. Fig.10 4 is a diagram showing the parts of the connector 40 and the counterpart connector 20 that constitute the electromagnetic shielding structure. When the connector 40 and the counterpart connector 20 are connected, a part of the counterpart housing 25 is disposed inside the shielding housing 46. Fig. 9 and Fig.10 As shown in FIG. 1 , the shielding shell 46 may also have at least one contact piece 86 that contacts the counterpart shell 25 disposed inside the shielding shell 46. The contact piece 86 is formed, for example, by cutting and raising a portion of the shielding shell 46 toward the inside of the shielding shell 46. The contact piece 86 presses its top end region against the outer surface of the counterpart shell 25 by its own elastic force. The shielding shell 46 and the counterpart shell 25 are electrically connected by the contact piece 86 contacting the counterpart shell 25. In addition, the electromagnetic shielding members 54 of the electric wires 51a and 51b and the shielding shell 46 are electrically connected to the box body 31 via the counterpart shell 25.

[0058] like Figure 3 As shown, the electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46 is arranged in the internal space of the outer shell 41, and is arranged at a place where the third sealing member 64 suppresses the intrusion of liquid such as water from the first opening 63. The electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46 includes, for example, a portion where the connecting shielding member 91 contacts the electromagnetic shielding member 54, the connecting shielding member 91, and a portion where the connecting shielding member 91 contacts the contact portion 85.

[0059] (Structure of the inner housing holding body 45) like Figure 7 , Fig.11 , Fig.13 and Fig.14 As shown, the inner housing retaining body 45 is installed in the second opening portion 66 of the outer housing 41. The inner housing retaining body 45 is used to fix the inner housing 42 inside the outer housing 41. In the connector 40, either the first inner housing retaining body 110 or the second inner housing retaining body 140 can be selected as the inner housing retaining body 45. Hereinafter, the first inner housing retaining body 110 is described as "the first inner housing retaining body 110", and the second inner housing retaining body 140 is described as "the second inner housing retaining body 140". In addition, Figures 1 to 5 , Figure 7 , Figure 8 and Figures 10 to 12 The figure shows the connector 40 or a part of the connector 40 when the first inner housing holding body 110 is selected as the inner housing holding body 45. Figures 13 to 16 The connector 40 or a part of the connector 40 is shown in the figure when the second inner housing holding body 140 is selected as the inner housing holding body 45. Fig.13 In the embodiment, points are added to the second inner shell holding body 140 .

[0060] (Structure of the First Internal Shell Holding Body 110) First, a case where the first inner case holding body 110 is selected as the inner case holding body 45 will be described.

[0061] like Figure 4 , Fig.11 and Fig.12 As shown, the first inner housing retainer 110 has a first mounting portion 111 embedded in the second opening 66, and a fixing leg 112 fixed to the device 30 to which the mating connector 20 is assembled. The first inner housing retainer 110 prevents the inner housing 42 from extending from the second opening 66 to the outside of the outer housing 41 by using the first mounting portion 111 embedded in the second opening 66. For example, the first inner housing retainer 110 is made of metal. For example, the first inner housing retainer 110 is made of aluminum die casting. In addition, the first inner housing retainer 110 is a single component in which the first mounting portion 111 and the fixing leg 112 are integrally formed.

[0062] The first mounting portion 111 has, for example, a fifth end 113 and a sixth end 114. The fifth end 113 is an end of the first mounting portion 111 in a direction opposite to the second direction D2. The sixth end 114 is an end on the side opposite to the fifth end 113 in the second direction D2, and is an end of the first mounting portion 111 in the second direction D2.

[0063] For example, the first mounting portion 111 has a flange portion 115, and the flange portion 115 protrudes outward from an end region of the first mounting portion 111 including the sixth end 114. The flange portion 115 abuts against the second end 62 of the outer shell 41 from a direction opposite to the second direction D2. When the first inner shell holder 110 is mounted on the second opening 66, the flange portion 115 is arranged outside the outer shell 41. That is, the fifth end 113 of the first mounting portion 111 is arranged inside the outer shell 41, and on the other hand, the sixth end 114 is arranged outside the outer shell 41.

[0064] The first mounting portion 111 has a first through hole 116 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass. For example, the first mounting portion 111 has a plurality of first through holes 116 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass, respectively. In addition, the first through hole 116 through which the electric wire 51a passes is referred to as the first through hole 116a, and the first through hole 116 through which the electric wire 51b passes is referred to as the first through hole 116b. The first through holes 116a and 116b each pass through the first mounting portion 111 in the second direction D2. The first through hole 116a and the first through hole 116b are arranged in the third direction D3.

[0065] like Figure 4 and Fig.11 As shown, the connector 40 may further include a plurality of first sealing members 117a, 117b, and the plurality of first sealing members 117a, 117b seal the inner circumferences of the plurality of first through holes 116a, 116b and the outer circumferences of the plurality of wires 51a, 51b. For example, when viewed from the second direction D2, the first sealing members 117a, 117b are respectively in the shape of a ring surrounding the outer circumference of the wires 51a, 51b. The first sealing members 117a, 117b are each, for example, a rubber ring. The wires 51a, 51b respectively penetrate the first sealing members 117a, 117b in the second direction D2. In addition, the first sealing members 117a, 117b are respectively arranged inside the first through holes 116a, 116b. Furthermore, the first sealing members 117a and 117b are respectively disposed between the inner circumference of the first through holes 116a and 116b and the outer circumference of the electric wires 51a and 51b. The first sealing members 117a and 117b are respectively in close contact with the outer circumference of the electric wires 51a and 51b over the entire circumference of the electric wires 51a and 51b. Furthermore, the first sealing members 117a and 117b are respectively in close contact with the inner circumference of the first through holes 116a and 116b over the entire circumference. The first sealing member 117a prevents liquids such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer shell 41 from between the outer circumference of the electric wire 51a and the inner circumference of the first through hole 116a. The first sealing member 117b prevents liquids such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer shell 41 from between the outer circumference of the electric wire 51b and the inner circumference of the first through hole 116b.

[0066] like Figure 4 , Fig.11 and Fig.12As shown, the first inner housing retainer 110 may also have a contact portion 118, and the contact portion 118 is electrically connected to the shielding shell 46 by contacting the shielding shell 46. The first inner housing retainer 110 has the contact portion 118, for example, on the first mounting portion 111. For example, the first inner housing retainer 110 has the contact portion 118 on the inner circumferential surface of each of the first through holes 116a and 116b. The position of the contact portion 118 in the Y-axis direction is offset in the direction opposite to the second direction D2 compared to the position of the first sealing members 117a and 117b in the Y-axis direction. And, the contact portion 118 is, for example, an end region including the fifth end 113 in the inner circumferential surface of each of the first through holes 116a and 116b.

[0067] When the first inner housing holder 110 is mounted on the second opening 66 of the outer housing 41, the end region including the fourth end 82 of the shielding shell 46 is inserted into each of the first through holes 116a and 116b along the second direction D2. For example, the contact portion 85 of the shielding shell 46 is inserted into each of the first through holes 116a and 116b. The contact portion 85 inserted into the first through hole 116a contacts the contact portion 118 provided on the inner peripheral surface of the first through hole 116a. The contact portion 85 inserted into the first through hole 116b contacts the contact portion 118 provided on the inner peripheral surface of the first through hole 116b. The first inner housing holder 110 is electrically connected to the shielding shell 46 by the contact portion 118 contacting the contact portion 85.

[0068] The connector 40 may further include a second sealing member 119, which seals the outer peripheral surface of the first mounting portion 111 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 41. The second sealing member 119 is in a ring shape surrounding the outer periphery of the first mounting portion 111. The second sealing member 119 is, for example, a rubber ring. The second sealing member 119 is located inside the outer shell 41 between the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 41 and the outer peripheral surface of the first mounting portion 111. In detail, the second sealing member 119 is located between the inner peripheral surface of the end region including the second end 62 in the outer shell 41 and the outer peripheral surface of the first mounting portion 111. The second sealing member 119 is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the first mounting portion 111 throughout the entire circumference. Furthermore, the second sealing member 119 is in close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 41 throughout the entire circumference. The second sealing member 119 prevents liquid such as water from entering the outer shell 41 from between the outer circumferential surface of the first mounting portion 111 and the inner circumferential surface of the outer shell 41. That is, the second sealing member 119 prevents liquid such as water from entering the inner shell 41 from the second opening 66.

[0069] The electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46 is arranged in the internal space of the outer shell 41, and is arranged at a place where the intrusion of liquid such as water from the second opening 66 is suppressed by the second sealing member 119. In addition, the electrically connected portion between the first inner shell holding body 110 and the shielding shell 46 is arranged in the internal space of the outer shell 41, and is arranged at a place where the intrusion of liquid such as water from the second opening 66 is suppressed by the second sealing member 119. In addition, the electrically connected portion between the first inner shell holding body 110 and the shielding shell 46 is, for example, a portion where the contact portion 118 and the contact portion 85 are in contact.

[0070] In addition, in the connector 40, the electrical connection portion between the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46, the electrical connection portion between the first inner shell retaining body 110 and the shielding shell 46, and the electrical connection portion between the counterpart shell 25 and the shielding shell 46 are located, for example, in the internal space of the outer shell 41, and are located where the first sealing members 117a, 117b, the second sealing member 119 and the third sealing member 64 are used to suppress the intrusion of liquid from the first opening 63 and the second opening 66.

[0071] The fixed leg 112 extends from the first mounting portion 111 to the outside of the external housing 41. The fixed leg 112 includes, for example, two support portions 121 extending from the flange portion 115 and a mounting portion 122 integrally provided at the top ends of the two support portions 121. The fixed leg 112 includes, for example, a seventh end 124 and an eighth end 125. The seventh end 124 is an end of the fixed leg 112 in the direction opposite to the second direction D2. The eighth end 125 is an end on the side opposite to the seventh end 124 in the second direction D2, and is an end of the fixed leg 112 in the second direction D2.

[0072] The two support portions 121 extend from the end of the flange portion 115 in the direction opposite to the first direction D1 in the direction opposite to the first direction D1. The two support portions 121 are separated in the third direction D3. Each support portion 121 has a connection portion 123 extending in the direction opposite to the second direction D2 at the top end of each support portion 121. In addition, the top end of each support portion 121 is the end of each support portion 121 in the direction opposite to the first direction D1. The assembly portion 122 is integrally provided at the end of each of the two connection portions 123 in the direction opposite to the first direction D1. The assembly portion 122 is, for example, in the shape of a plate with the thickness direction of the assembly portion 122 along the first direction D1.

[0073] like Figure 4As shown, the width W1 of the first mounting portion 111 in the second direction D2 is less than the width W2 of the fixed leg 112 in the second direction D2. And, for example, the first mounting portion 111 is accommodated within the range of the width W2 of the fixed leg 112 in the second direction D2. For example, the seventh end 124 of the fixed leg 112 is offset in the direction opposite to the second direction D2 relative to the fifth end 113 of the first mounting portion 111. In addition, the eighth end 125 of the fixed leg 112 and the sixth end 114 of the first mounting portion 111 are at the same position in the second direction D2.

[0074] like Figure 2 As shown, for example, the width of the mounting portion 122 in the third direction D3 is wider than the width of the outer shell 41 in the third direction D3. That is, the width of the fixing leg 112 in the third direction D3 is wider than the width of the outer shell 41 in the third direction D3. In addition, Figure 2 This is a top view of the connector 40 viewed from the direction opposite to the first direction D1. The outer shell 41 is accommodated within the width of the fixed leg 112 in the third direction D3, for example. In addition, when viewed from the direction opposite to the first direction D1, the mounting portion 122 protrudes to both sides of the outer shell 41 in the third direction D3.

[0075] For example, the fixing leg 112 has a fixing hole 126, and the fastening member 131 for fixing the fixing leg 112 to the box body 31 passes through the fixing hole 126. The fixing leg 112 has, for example, two fixing holes 126. In addition, the number of the fixing holes 126 of the fixing leg 112 is not limited to two, and may be one or more than three. For example, when viewed from the first direction D1, the fixing holes 126 are respectively provided on both sides of the outer shell 41 in the third direction D3.

[0076] In addition, if Figure 7 and Fig.11 As shown, the connector 40 may also have a rear retaining body 132, which is installed in the end area including the second end 62 in the outer shell 41. The rear retaining body 132 prevents the first sealing members 117a and 117b from falling off from the second opening 66. In addition, the rear retaining body 132 prevents the first inner shell retaining body 110 from falling off from the outer shell 41. The rear retaining body 132 is composed of split retaining bodies 133a and 133b divided into two in the first direction D1. The rear retaining body 132 has two wire through holes 134a and 134b arranged in the third direction D3. The wires 51a and 51b are respectively passed through the wire through holes 134a and 134b and led to the outside of the outer shell 41.

[0077] In addition, if Figure 2 and Figure 3As shown, the first inner housing holder 110 has no portion extending in the second direction D2 beyond the rear holder 132. That is, the end of the rear holder 132 in the second direction D2 is offset from the end of the first inner housing holder 110 in the second direction D2.

[0078] The first inner housing holder 110 is fixed to the housing 31 of the device 30 by means of each fastening member 131 penetrating each fixing hole 126. The fastening member 131 is, for example, a bolt. In addition, the fastening member 131 is not limited to a bolt, and may be, for example, a screw. The first inner housing holder 110 is fixed to the housing 31 in a state where the mounting portion 122 is in contact with the surface of the housing 31. Therefore, the first inner housing holder 110 is electrically connected to the housing 31.

[0079] (Structure of the Second Internal Shell Holding Body 140) Next, a case where the second inner case holding body 140 is selected as the inner case holding body 45 will be described.

[0080] like Fig.14 , Fig.15 and Fig.16 As shown in FIG. 1 , the second inner housing holder 140 includes a second mounting portion 141 embedded in the second opening 66 and an engaging claw 142 for assembling the second inner housing holder 140 to the outer housing 41. The second inner housing holder 140 prevents the inner housing 42 from protruding from the second opening 66 to the outside of the outer housing 41 by the second mounting portion 141 embedded in the second opening 66. For example, the second inner housing holder 140 is made of synthetic resin. In addition, the second inner housing holder 140 is a single component in which the second mounting portion 141 and the engaging claw 142 are integrally formed.

[0081] For example, the second mounting portion 141 is formed in the same shape and size as the first mounting portion 111. The second mounting portion 141 has, for example, a ninth end 143 and a tenth end 144. The ninth end 143 is an end of the second mounting portion 141 in the direction opposite to the second direction D2. The tenth end 144 is an end on the side opposite to the ninth end 143 in the second direction D2, and is an end of the second mounting portion 141 in the second direction D2.

[0082] For example, the second mounting portion 141 has a flange portion 145, and the flange portion 145 protrudes outward from the end region including the 10th end 144 of the second mounting portion 141. The flange portion 145 is formed in the same shape as the flange portion 115 of the first mounting portion 111. The flange portion 145 abuts against the second end 62 of the outer shell 41. When the second inner shell holder 140 is mounted on the second opening portion 66, the portion located inside the flange portion 145 is arranged outside the outer shell 41. That is, the 9th end 143 of the second mounting portion 141 is arranged inside the outer shell 41, and on the other hand, the 10th end 144 is arranged outside the outer shell 41.

[0083] The second mounting portion 141 has a second through hole 146 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass. For example, the second mounting portion 141 has a plurality of second through holes 146 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass, respectively. In addition, the second through hole 146 through which the electric wire 51a passes is referred to as the second through hole 146a, and the second through hole 146 through which the electric wire 51b passes is referred to as the second through hole 146b. The second through holes 146a and 146b are respectively formed in the same shape and size as the first through holes 116a and 116b. The second through holes 146a and the second through holes 146b are arranged in the third direction D3.

[0084] When the second inner housing retainer 140 is selected, the first sealing members 117a and 117b seal the inner circumferences of the second through holes 146a and 146b and the outer circumferences of the plurality of wires 51a and 51b. In this case, the first sealing members 117a and 117b are respectively arranged inside the second through holes 146a and 146b. Furthermore, the first sealing members 117a and 117b are respectively between the inner circumferences of the second through holes 146a and 146b and the outer circumferences of the wires 51a and 51b. Furthermore, the first sealing members 117a and 117b are respectively in close contact with the inner circumferences of the second through holes 146a and 146b over the entire circumference. The first sealing member 117a prevents liquids such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer housing 41 from between the outer circumference of the wire 51a and the inner circumference of the second through hole 146a. The first sealing member 117 b prevents liquid such as water from entering the outer housing 41 from between the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire 51 b and the inner peripheral surface of the second through-hole 146 b .

[0085] When the second inner housing retainer 140 is selected, the second sealing member 119 seals between the outer circumferential surface of the second mounting portion 141 and the inner circumferential surface of the outer housing 41. In this case, the second sealing member 119 is interposed between the inner circumferential surface of the outer housing 41 and the outer circumferential surface of the second mounting portion 141. Furthermore, the second sealing member 119 is in close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the second mounting portion 141 over the entire circumference. The second sealing member 119 prevents liquids such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer housing 41 from between the outer circumferential surface of the second mounting portion 141 and the inner circumferential surface of the outer housing 41. In addition, the electrical connection portion of the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46 is arranged in the internal space of the outer housing 41, and is arranged at a place where the second sealing member 119 prevents liquids such as water from penetrating from the second opening 66.

[0086] The second inner housing holding body 140, for example, has a plurality of engaging claws 142. The second inner housing holding body 140, for example, has two engaging claws 142 on both sides of the second mounting portion 141 in the first direction D1, and has a total of four engaging claws 142. Each engaging claw 142 extends from the flange portion 145 in a direction opposite to the second direction D2. Each engaging claw 142 is elastically deformable. Each engaging claw 142 has an engaging hole 148 that penetrates each engaging claw 142 in the first direction D1.

[0087] like Fig.13 and Fig.14 As shown, the outer shell 41 may also have a plurality of engaging protrusions 67, and the plurality of engaging protrusions 67 are embedded in the engaging holes 148 of each engaging claw 142. For example, the outer shell 41 has two engaging protrusions 67 at both ends of the outer shell 41 in the first direction D1, and has a total of four engaging protrusions 67. Each engaging protrusion 67 protrudes from the outer peripheral surface of the end region of the outer shell 41 including the second end 62. The second inner shell holder 140 is detachably mounted on the outer shell 41 by the engaging protrusions 67 being embedded in the engaging holes 148 of each engaging claw 142. And, the second inner shell holder 140 prevents the inner shell 42 from protruding from the second opening 66 to the outside of the outer shell 41 by the second mounting portion 141 embedded in the second opening 66. In addition, the second inner shell holder 140 is prevented from falling off from the outer shell 41 by the rear holder 132, similarly to the first inner shell holder 110.

[0088] (Effects of the Implementation Methods) The effects of this embodiment will be described. (1) The connector 40 includes an outer housing 41 made of synthetic resin, the outer housing 41 having a first opening 63 and a second opening 66, the counterpart terminals 22a and 22b of the counterpart connector 20 are inserted into the first opening 63 along the first direction D1, and the electric wires 51a and 51b are passed through the second opening 66 along the second direction D2. The connector 40 includes an inner housing 42 made of synthetic resin, arranged inside the outer housing 41, and terminals 43a and 43b, which are held inside the inner housing 42 and are electrically connected to the electric wires 51a and 51b and to the counterpart terminals 22a and 22b. The connector 40 further includes an inner housing holder 45, which is mounted on the second opening 66 and fixes the inner housing 42 inside the outer housing 41. Either the first inner housing holder 110 or the second inner housing holder 140 can be selected as the inner housing holder 45. The first inner housing holder 110 has a first mounting portion 111, the first mounting portion 111 has a first through hole 116 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass, and is fitted into the second opening 66. The first inner housing holder 110 further includes a fixing leg 112, which extends from the first mounting portion 111 to the outside of the outer housing 41 and is fixed to the device 30 equipped with the counterpart connector 20. The second inner housing holder 140 has a second mounting portion 141, the second mounting portion 141 has a second through hole 146 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass, and is fitted into the second opening 66.

[0089] According to this structure, when the first inner housing holder 110 is selected as the inner housing holder 45, the fixing leg 112 can be fixed to the device 30. That is, the first inner housing holder 110 attached to the second opening 66 through which the electric wires 51a and 51b pass can be fixed to the device 30. When the fixing leg 112 is fixed to the device 30, the outer housing 41 to which the first inner housing holder 110 is attached and the inner housing 42 arranged inside the outer housing 41 are integrated with the device 30, and thus are difficult to move relative to the device 30. Therefore, the vibration of the outer housing 41 and the inner housing 42 caused by the vibration of the electric wires 51a and 51b can be suppressed. In addition, when the connector 40 and the mating connector 20 are connected, the terminals 43a and 43b held inside the inner housing 42 and the mating terminals 22a and 22b can be suppressed from moving relative to each other due to the vibration of the electric wires 51a and 51b. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the wear of the contact portions between the terminals 43a, 43b and the mating terminals 22a, 22b. In this way, when the first inner housing holder 110 is selected as the inner housing holder 45, the connector 40 can have a vibration-resistant structure.

[0090] In addition, the first inner housing holding body 110 is a component that adds a function of providing the connector 40 with a vibration-resistant structure to the component that has the function of fixing the inner housing 42 to the inside of the outer housing 41. That is, the first inner housing holding body 110 is not a component that is used only to provide the connector 40 with a vibration-resistant structure. Therefore, compared with the case where a component that is used only to provide the connector 40 with a vibration-resistant structure is added to the connector 40, an increase in the number of components can be suppressed.

[0091] In addition, the second inner housing holding body 140 does not have the fixing legs 112. Therefore, by selecting the second inner housing holding body 140 as the inner housing holding body 45, the connector 40 can be manufactured without a vibration-proof structure.

[0092] Thus, in the connector 40 in which the counterpart terminals 22a and 22b connected to the terminals 43a and 43b are inserted in a direction intersecting the direction in which the electric wires 51a and 51b extend, it is possible to select whether or not to have a vibration-resistant structure without increasing the number of parts.

[0093] (2) The first inner housing holder 110 is made of metal. According to this structure, the rigidity of the first inner housing holder 110 can be improved compared to the case where the first inner housing holder 110 is made of synthetic resin. Therefore, the vibration of the outer housing 41 and the inner housing 42 caused by the vibration of the electric wires 51a and 51b can be further suppressed. In addition, when the connector 40 and the mating connector 20 are connected, the following situation can be further suppressed: the terminals 43a and 43b and the mating terminals 22a and 22b held in the inner housing 42 due to the vibration of the electric wires 51a and 51b relative movement. Therefore, the contact parts of the terminals 43a and 43b and the mating terminals 22a and 22b can be further suppressed from being worn.

[0094] (3) The first inner housing holding body 110 is made of aluminum die casting. According to this structure, the first inner housing holding body 110 made of metal can be easily manufactured. (4) The second inner case holding body 140 is made of synthetic resin. According to this structure, the second inner case holding body 140 can be manufactured at a low cost and reduced in weight compared to the case where the second inner case holding body 140 is made of metal.

[0095] (5) The connector 40 further includes a shield shell 46 that has conductivity and covers the outer surface of the inner housing 42. The first inner housing holder 110 has a contact portion 118 that is electrically connected to the shield shell 46 by contacting the shield shell 46. According to this structure, when the first inner housing holder 110 is selected as the inner housing holder 45, the first inner housing holder 110 and the shield shell 46 are electrically connected. And when the case 31 of the device 30 equipped with the counterpart connector 20 has conductivity, the first inner housing holder 110 and the case 31 can be electrically connected by making the fixing leg 112 contact with the case 31 and fixing it to the case 31. Therefore, the shield shell 46 can be electrically connected to the case 31 via the first inner housing holder 110. As a result, the shield shell 46 can be electrically connected to the case 31 not only via the counterpart housing 25 but also via the first inner housing holder 110. Therefore, the reliability of the electromagnetic shielding function in the connector 40 can be improved.

[0096] (6) The fixing leg 112 has a fixing hole 126, and the fastening member 131 for fixing the fixing leg 112 to the device 30 passes through the fixing hole 126. When viewed from the first direction D1, the fixing holes 126 are respectively provided on both sides of the outer housing 41 in the third direction D3 which is a direction orthogonal to the second direction D2. According to this structure, the first inner housing holder 110 can be stably fixed to the device 30, compared with the case where there is only one fixing hole 126 or the case where the fixing hole 126 is provided only on one side of the outer housing 41 in the third direction D3 when viewed from the first direction D1. Therefore, the vibration of the outer housing 41 and the inner housing 42 caused by the vibration of the electric wires 51a and 51b can be further suppressed. In addition, when the connector 40 and the mating connector 20 are in a state of being connected, the terminals 43a and 43b held in the inner housing 42 and the mating terminals 22a and 22b can be further suppressed from moving relative to each other due to the vibration of the electric wires 51a and 51b.

[0097] (7) The first mounting portion 111 is accommodated within the width W2 of the fixed leg 112 in the second direction D2. According to this structure, the width of the first inner housing holding body 110 in the second direction D2 can be reduced compared to the case where the first mounting portion 111 is not accommodated within the width W2 of the fixed leg 112 in the second direction D2. Therefore, the size of the connector 40 in the second direction D2 can be suppressed.

[0098] (8) The first sealing member 117a, 117b is further provided, and the first sealing member 117a, 117b seals the inner circumference of the first through hole 116a, 116b or the inner circumference of the second through hole 146a, 146b and the outer circumference of the electric wire 51a, 51b. According to this structure, the outer circumference of the electric wire 51a, 51b and the inner circumference of the first through hole 116a, 116b or the second through hole 146a, 146b can be sealed respectively by the first sealing member 117a, 117b. For example, sometimes after the first sealing member 117a, 117b is installed on the electric wire 51a, 51b, the terminal 43a, 43b and the electric wire 51a, 51b are connected. In this case, when the terminal 43a, 43b and the electric wire 51a, 51b are connected, the electric wire 51a, 51b can be made into a state where it is not integrated by the sealing member, that is, a state where each is independent. Therefore, the terminals 43a and 43b and the electric wires 51a and 51b can be easily connected.

[0099] (9) The outer shell 41 is in a cylindrical shape extending in the second direction D2, and has a first end 61 and a second end 62 on the side opposite to the first end 61 in the second direction D2. The first end 61 is closed. The second opening 66 is located at the second end 62. The first opening 63 is located between the first end 61 and the second end 62. It is further provided with a second sealing member 119, and the second sealing member 119 seals between the outer peripheral surface of the first mounting portion 111 or the outer peripheral surface of the second mounting portion 141 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 41. According to this structure, the second sealing member 119 can prevent liquid such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer shell 41 from between the outer peripheral surface of the first mounting portion 111 or the second mounting portion 141 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 41.

[0100] (10) The electric wires 51a and 51b are shielded electric wires, each of which has a core wire 52, a first insulating coating 53 covering the outer periphery of the core wire 52, an electromagnetic shielding member 54 having conductivity and covering the outer periphery of the first insulating coating 53, and a second insulating coating 55 covering the outer periphery of the electromagnetic shielding member 54. The connector 40 further includes a shielding shell 46 having conductivity and covering the outer surface of the inner housing 42. The electromagnetic shielding member 54 is electrically connected to the shielding shell 46. The electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46 is located in the internal space of the outer housing 41 and is located at a position where the second sealing member 119 is used to suppress the intrusion of liquid from the second opening 66. According to this structure, it is possible to suppress the adhesion of liquid such as water to the electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46.

[0101] (11) The connector 40 further includes a third sealing member 64, which is interposed between the outer housing 41 and the mating connector 20 and suppresses liquid from penetrating into the interior of the outer housing 41 from the first opening 63. The electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46 is located in the internal space of the outer housing 41 and is located at a position where the third sealing member 64 suppresses liquid from penetrating into the interior of the outer housing 41 from the first opening 63. According to this structure, it is possible to further suppress liquid such as water from adhering to the electrically connected portion between the electromagnetic shielding member 54 and the shielding shell 46.

[0102] (12) When the conventional anti-sway member is applied to a connector in which the mating terminal is inserted in a direction intersecting the direction in which the electric wire extends, vibration in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the mating terminal is inserted can be suppressed. However, it is difficult to suppress vibration of the connector in a direction orthogonal to the length direction of the electric wire. Furthermore, when using an electric wire with a large diameter such as a high-voltage electric wire, even if the conventional anti-sway member is applied, there is a possibility that the connector itself may shake relative to the device equipped with the mating connector due to the vibrating electric wire. In contrast, in the connector 40, the vibration of the connector 40 caused by the vibration of the electric wires 51a and 51b is suppressed by fixing the fixing leg 112 to the housing 31. Therefore, both vibration of the connector 40 in a direction orthogonal to the first direction D1 and vibration of the connector 40 in a direction orthogonal to the length direction of the electric wires 51a and 51b, that is, the second direction D2, can be suppressed. In addition, since the fixing leg 112 is fixed to the housing 31, relative movement of the connector 40 relative to the housing 31 can be suppressed. Therefore, even if the electric wires 51a and 51b are high-voltage electric wires with large diameters, it is possible to suppress the connector 40 from shaking relative to the case 31 due to the electric wires 51a and 51b when the electric wires 51a and 51b vibrate.
