According to the rope tying device, the rope cutting mechanism is arranged on the inner side of the annular rotating disc, interference between the rope grabbing mechanism and the rope cutting mechanism can be avoided, the working reliability of the rope tying device is improved, the rope grabbing reliability of the rope grabbing mechanism can be improved, meanwhile, a long end and a short end of a formed rope knot are easy to distinguish, and later operation is facilitated.
