The vehicle control unit obtains the working current, the total voltage, the maximum charging power permitted by a battery management system, the maximum discharge power, the battery electricity, the motor rotating speed, the motor real-time torque, the motor failure state signal, the brake locking prevention signal, the three signals (working state, output current and voltage signals) of a DC converter, the working state, the output current, the voltage signals, the three signals of an air conditioner, a steering pump and a blast pump, the accelerator pedal signal, the brake pedal signal, the gear signal, the downhill auxiliary signal and the power supply gear signal, the actual consumption and required power of a power system are calculated according to the signals, the absolute value of the difference of the actual consumption and the required power is larger than or equal to a preset value, and a zero torque signal is sent to the MCU and/or a cut-off signal is sent to the control circuit when preset time is up, and the pure electric vehicle is high in driving safety.
