Abstract

The invention discloses a tool for welding titanium alloy VAR electrodes in a vacuum welding box and a welding method, and belongs to the field of welding equipment. The tool comprises a plurality of bases, linear guide devices are arranged among the bases, the bases are arranged on the linear guide devices in a sliding mode, and the relative positions of the bases can be adjusted; a chuck for clamping the end part of an electrode is rotationally arranged at the upper end of the base, and the electrode clamping direction of the chuck is consistent with the extension direction of the linear guide device; a synchronous transmission mechanism is arranged among the plurality of chucks and is used for enabling the plurality of chucks to rotate synchronously; a plurality of titanium alloy electrodes are clamped and butted at the same time in a unified manner to form a stable welding seam, so that high-quality welding of the electrodes of small-specification titanium alloy ingots is completed by using an industrial-grade plasma welding box.
