Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention relates to a method for assembling components of a drive train. The drive train is provided, in particular, for a motor vehicle. Background Art
[0002] The component is, for example, a component of a transmission or a differential. In particular, the method is used to arrange and fix a rolling bearing in a housing. The rolling bearing is used in particular to support a rotating component in the housing.
[0003] The rolling bearing is in particular a groove ball bearing (Rillenkugellager, sometimes called a deep groove ball bearing). The component in particular comprises at least a rolling bearing, a bearing support and a housing part. The outer ring of the rolling bearing can be fixed to the housing part via the bearing support.
[0004] In this case, the accessibility restrictions must generally be observed. For example, the bearing support can only be fastened from outside the housing part via screws. For such a connection of the bearing support and the screws, which is not visible from outside the housing part, some adapters are required, for example in order to align the bearing support relative to the rolling bearing or relative to the housing part so that the screws can be introduced into the threaded openings of the bearing support provided for this purpose.
[0005] However, these adapters lead to higher costs in the case of producing individual components. Alternatively or additionally, the components or parts must be designed to be larger or more complex (e.g., multi-piece), for example, in order to ensure accessibility. In particular, the multi-piece design of the components used here (which, for example, serve as components of the housing) can increase the risk of leaks in the housing. Summary of the invention
[0006] The object of the present invention is to at least partially solve the problems listed in relation to the prior art. In particular, a method for assembling a component of a drive train should be proposed, for which no special features are required at the individual components of the component. In addition, a compact design of the component should be possible with as few components as possible.
[0007] A method according to the features of patent claim 1 contributes to this. Advantageous developments are the subject matter of the dependent patent claims. The features listed individually in the patent claims can be combined with one another in a technically meaningful manner and can be supplemented by explanatory facts from the description and details from the drawings, which show further embodiments of the invention.
[0008] A method for assembling a component of a transmission system is proposed. The component comprises at least a first component with a plurality of threaded openings and a second component with a corresponding number of through holes. The threaded openings and the through holes extend in an axial direction, respectively. The method comprises at least the following steps:
[0009] a) providing a first component and a second component;
[0010] b) arranging at least two guide elements in the threaded apertures of the first component, wherein each guide element extends through one of the through holes;
[0011] c) bringing the first component and the second component together in the axial direction (Zusammenführen, sometimes referred to as fitting together), wherein the components are aligned with each other via a guide element;
[0012] d) introducing the first screw element into the first threaded aperture via the first through hole and tightening the first screw element;
[0013] e) Removing the guide element from the component and introducing a second screw element into the second threaded bore via the second through hole and tightening the second screw element to produce the component.
[0014] The above (non-exhaustive, sometimes referred to as definitive) division of the method steps into a) to e) should primarily serve only to distinguish, and not to impose any order and / or dependency. The frequency of the method steps, for example during assembly of the components, can also vary. It is also possible that the method steps overlap one another at least partially in time. Very particularly preferably, method steps c) to e) occur after steps a) and b). In particular, the guide element can be introduced into the threaded aperture via a through hole. Alternatively, the guide element can be arranged in the threaded aperture and only then introduced into the through hole. Steps d) and e) are especially performed after steps a) to c). In particular, steps a) to e) are performed in the order listed.
[0015] The first component is in particular a bearing support. The first component is in particular annular or disk-shaped. The first component is in particular a sheet metal part. The threaded openings are in particular arranged evenly distributed along the circumference. In particular, at least two, preferably exactly three, and optionally also more than three threaded openings are provided. The threaded opening can be in the form of a blind hole or a through hole. The threaded opening comprises at least one cylindrical cavity, in which the thread is arranged if necessary.
[0016] The second component is in particular a housing part of a component. The second component is in particular a component manufactured by a casting process, i.e. a casting. The through holes are in particular arranged evenly distributed in the circumferential direction. In particular, at least two, preferably exactly three, and optionally also more than three through holes are provided. In particular, the through hole has no thread, so that the guide element can be accommodated in the through hole movably in the axial direction.
[0017] In particular, the number of threaded openings corresponds to the number of through-holes.
[0018] In particular, the threaded bore and the through-hole extend parallel to each other in the axial direction.
[0019] The guide elements are particularly pin-shaped, particularly cylindrical. The guide elements preferably have a thread at one end so that they can be threadedly connected to the threaded opening via the thread. Alternatively, the guide elements are embodied without a thread so that they can be moved into the threaded opening.
[0020] Prior to step c), a guide element is arranged in the threaded aperture and extends through the through hole. Preferably, each threaded aperture and / or each through hole is associated with a guide element, but fewer guide elements, but at least two, can also be used. In particular, the guide element can be introduced into the threaded aperture of the first component via the through hole of the second component. Alternatively, the guide element can already be arranged in the threaded aperture of the first component and only then introduced into the through hole of the second component.
[0021] In step c), the first component and the second component are brought together in the axial direction. The components are previously arranged at a distance from each other in the axial direction, and within the scope of step c), the components are arranged relative to each other in a position in which they are then used in the drive train. During step c), i.e., while the components are brought together, the components are aligned with each other via guide elements. Aligning the components via guide elements may only include fixing the position of the components aligned with each other. Therefore, the alignment can also be supported by a fixing device, by which the components can be arranged relative to each other in the desired position, wherein the guide element extending through the through hole into the threaded opening can then fix this position.
[0022] In particular, the second component is displaced in this case relative to the guide element and relative to the first component in the axial direction.
[0023] In step d), in particular, the first screw element is introduced into the first threaded bore via the first through hole and the first screw element is tightened. If necessary, in step d) (and before step e)), other screw elements can be introduced into other through holes and tightened with threaded bores respectively accessible thereto.
[0024] In particular, in step d), at least one guide element is first removed from the component and (then) the first screw element is introduced into the first threaded opening via the first through hole. The first screw element is then screwed together with the first threaded opening via tightening. In this case, a guide element is replaced in particular by the first screw element.
[0025] In step e), in particular, the (further) guide element is removed from the component and the (further) second screw element is introduced into the second threaded opening via the second through hole. In step e), the (further) second screw element is further screwed together with the second threaded opening. In step e), all other screw elements can be arranged in the corresponding through holes and screwed together with the threaded opening provided for this purpose. In the scope of step e), in particular, all guide elements are removed from the component. With all screw elements provided being screwed, the component is (completely) manufactured.
[0026] In particular, the alignment of the first component relative to the second component is ensured via the guide element. Thus, the screw element can be supplied via the second component, via which the first component is fixed in the component. Here, it is ensured via the guide element that the screw element can be brought into engagement with the threaded aperture.
[0027] In particular, the first component is supported by the guide element relative to the axial direction, so that forces which are required or occur, for example during the automated setting of the screw element, are absorbed by the guide element.
[0028] In particular, the third component is arranged between the first component and the second component in the axial direction, and the third component is arranged by the assembly component in a positionally fixed manner (in the component) relative to the axial direction through the first component and the second component.
[0029] In particular, the third component is a rolling bearing which can be arranged via the first component in a positionally fixed manner relative to the second component at least with respect to the axial direction.
[0030] In particular, the third component has a first maximum diameter. In particular, all center axes of the threaded openings are arranged on a common second diameter, wherein the second diameter is at most 30%, preferably at most 20% larger than the first diameter. Here, the second diameter is at most 200 mm, preferably at most 150 mm, particularly preferably at most 120 mm.
[0031] With the proposed method, it is particularly possible to arrange the threaded opening on the first component as close as possible to the largest (first) diameter of the third component, thereby ensuring that the first component is arranged as straight as possible on the third component.
[0032] In particular, the first component is designed to be annular. In particular, at least the first end side of the first component pointing to the third component is designed to be completely flat. In particular, the other end side of the first component pointing in the opposite axial direction is also designed to be completely flat. Therefore, the first component is designed to be disk-shaped with end side surfaces that are parallel to each other and designed to be completely flat.
[0033] Accordingly, the first component can be produced as a simple, straight sheet metal part and in particular without further deformation.
[0034] In particular, the third component is a rolling bearing. In particular, the first component is a bearing bracket for fixing the rolling bearing (third component) in the component. In particular, the rolling bearing is implemented as a groove ball bearing.
[0035] In particular, in the case of certain components, the arrangement of additional rolling bearings (e.g., roller bearings or tapered roller bearings with inclined rolling bodies) is not feasible or desirable, for example in view of low friction. The rolling bearing provided as the third component is in particular embodied as a so-called fixed bearing of a fixed-floating bearing assembly.
[0036] In particular, the rolling bearing has at least an outer ring, an inner ring and rolling bodies arranged therebetween. In particular, the bearing support contacts the rolling bearing via the outer ring, and the second end side of the outer ring contacting the bearing support is designed to be completely flat.
[0037] In particular, the shape or design of the third component, in particular the rolling bearing, and the first component, in particular the bearing support, does not allow or ensure an alignment of the first component (bearing support), at least not with respect to the radial direction and / or the circumferential direction or with respect to the second component. Such an alignment of the first component (or the bearing support) is in particular only ensured via the guide element (and subsequently via the screw element).
[0038] A flat second end face of the outer ring or one designed parallel to the radial direction ensures low production costs for the rolling bearing, since it can thus be integrated or installed in the component as a simple external part (without special adapters, ie shoulders, centering surfaces, etc.).
[0039] The third component is provided in particular as a subassembly, for example as part of a differential or (another) transmission. Here, the third component is part of the subassembly. For example, the third component, which is implemented as a rolling bearing, is arranged on a cylindrical section of the subassembly via an inner ring and is preferably fixed to the section in a fixed position relative to the axial direction, for example via a fixing ring.
[0040] In particular, the first component is held by a fixing device at least before step c), wherein the fixing device is removed in order to bring the components together according to step c).
[0041] In particular, at least before step c), the first component is arranged such that it is aligned at least relative to the second component solely via the fixing device with respect to a radial direction extending transversely to the axial direction.
[0042] Via the fixing device, an alignment of the first component relative to the second component (and in particular relative to the radial direction and / or the circumferential direction) can be ensured so that the guide element can be arranged in the threaded bore via the through hole.
[0043] The fixing device is designed in at least two parts. The individual parts of the fixing device can be moved relative to each other, in particular at least in the radial direction.
[0044] The fastening device can be designed in particular in two or more parts, so that the fastening device can be removed after the first component has been aligned relative to the second component or after the guide element has been arranged in the threaded opening.
[0045] Removal of the fixing device is necessary in particular if accessibility to the first component is no longer ensured after step c) of the method or also already during step c) of the method.
[0046] Furthermore, a component of a drive train of a motor vehicle is proposed. The component comprises at least a first component with a plurality of threaded openings and a second component with a corresponding number of through holes, wherein a screw element extends through each through hole in the axial direction into the corresponding threaded opening, so that the components are connected to each other via the screw element. The component is assembled by the described method.
[0047] In particular, it can be seen depending on the parts to be assembled or depending on the embodiment of the individual components that the described method must be carried out in order to assemble the components.
[0048] In particular, the first component is aligned relative to the second component and / or the third component only by the spiral element relative to a radial direction extending transversely to the axial direction. Thus, without the spiral element, the first component with the threaded opening can be displaced relative to the second component and / or the third component in a radial direction and / or circumferential direction such that screwing the spiral element into the threaded opening via the through hole is not easily achievable.
[0049] In particular, the component additionally comprises a third component, wherein the first component is a bearing support, the second component is a housing part of the component, and the third component is a rolling bearing.
[0050] In particular, the component is at least one assembly of a transmission, such as a differential or another transmission. The third component, which is designed as a rolling bearing, is arranged on a shaft of the transmission or on a differential housing part, in particular via an inner ring of the rolling bearing.
[0051] The described method can be carried out in particular partially or completely automatically. For this purpose, a controller is then provided in particular, which is equipped, configured or programmed for carrying out the method.
[0052] By means of the control unit or the devices or auxiliary means actuated thereby, for example individual components, guide elements, screw elements or fastening devices and further auxiliary devices can be actuated, controlled and moved relative to one another.
[0053] In addition, the method can also be implemented by a computer or by using a processor of a controller.
[0054] Therefore, a system for data processing is also proposed, which comprises a processor which is adapted / configured in such a way that it performs the method or a part of the steps of the proposed method.
[0055] A computer-readable storage medium can be provided which includes instructions which, when executed by a computer / processor, cause it to carry out at least some of the steps of the method or the proposed method.
[0056] Statements concerning a method may be transferred in particular to a component, a control unit and / or a computer-implemented method (ie, a computer or a processor, a system for data processing, a computer-readable storage medium) and vice versa.
[0057] In particular, the use of indefinite articles ("a", "an", "an" and "one") in the patent claims and the description reflecting them is to be understood as such and not as a number. Accordingly, the terms or components introduced therein are to be understood as existing at least once and in particular but also being able to exist in multiples.
[0058] It should be noted as a precaution that the numerals used here ("first", "second", ...) are primarily (only) used to distinguish between a plurality of similar objects, parameters or processes, i.e., in particular, a correlation and / or sequence of these objects, parameters or processes with one another is not necessarily predefined. If a correlation and / or sequence is required, this is explicitly stated here or it becomes obvious to a person skilled in the art when studying the specifically described design. As long as components can appear multiple times ("at least one"), the description of one of these components can apply equally to all or part of a plurality of these components, but this is not mandatory. [0074] Figure 1A motor vehicle 25 is shown in section in a side view with a drive train 2 (sketch) and a portion of a first embodiment variant of a component 1 . Figure 2 The cross section and the side view show the Figure 1 Step c) of the method for components 3, 6, 14 of component 1 is described together below Figure 1 and Figure 2 .
[0075] The component 1 comprises a bearing support as a first component 3 with a plurality of threaded openings 4, 5 and a bearing support as a second component 6 with a corresponding number of through holes 7, 8, 28. Figure 2 A third member 14 is arranged between the first member 3 and the second member 6 in the axial direction 9, and is arranged in a fixed position (in the component 1) by assembling the component 1 relative to the axial direction 9 through the first member 3 and the second member 6 (see Figure 4 ). The third component 14 is a rolling bearing which is arranged relative to the second component 6 via the first component 3 in a fixed position relative to the axial direction 9. The rolling bearing is implemented as a groove ball bearing.
[0076] The first component 3 is implemented in an annular or disk-shaped manner. The first component 3 is implemented as a sheet metal part. The threaded holes 4, 5 are arranged evenly distributed along the circumferential direction 31 (see Figure 3 ). Exactly three threaded openings 4, 5 are provided. The threaded openings 4, 5 are embodied as through openings.
[0077] The first end face 18 of the first component 3 pointing toward the third component 14 is designed to be completely flat. The other end face of the first component 3 pointing in the opposite axial direction 9 is also designed to be completely flat. Therefore, the first component 3 is designed in a disk-shaped manner with end face surfaces that are parallel to each other and designed to be completely flat. Accordingly, the first component 3 can be manufactured as a simple, straight sheet metal part and does not require further deformation.
[0078] The second component 6 is a component 1 or a housing part of a differential. The second component 6 is a component manufactured by a casting process, i.e. a casting. The through holes 7, 8, 28 are arranged evenly distributed along the circumferential direction 31. There are exactly three through holes 7, 8, 28. The through holes 7, 8, 28 do not have a thread, so that the guide elements 10, 11, 27 can be accommodated in the through holes 7, 8, 28 movably along the axial direction 9. The number of threaded openings 4, 5 in the first component 3 corresponds to the number of through holes 7, 8, 28 in the second component 6.
[0079] The threaded openings 4 , 5 and the through-holes 7 , 8 , 28 extend parallel to one another in the axial direction 9 .
[0080] The guide elements 10 , 11 , 27 are pin-shaped and cylindrical. The guide elements 10 , 11 , 27 have a thread at one end, so that the guide elements can be connected to the threads of the corresponding threaded bores 4 , 5 via the thread.
[0081] The third component 14 implemented as a rolling bearing comprises an outer ring 19, an inner ring 20 and rolling bodies 21 arranged therebetween. The first component 3 implemented as a bearing support contacts the rolling bearing only via the outer ring 19, and the second end side 22 of the outer ring 19 contacting the bearing support is implemented completely flat (except for the chamfers at the corresponding edges of the outer ring 19).
[0082] The second end face 22 of the outer ring 19 which is flat or parallel to the radial direction 24 ensures low production costs for the rolling bearing, since it can thus be integrated in the component 1 as a simple external part (without special adapters, ie shoulders, centering surfaces, etc.).
[0083] Due to the shape or design of the third component 14 and the first component 3, alignment of the first component 3 (bearing support) cannot be achieved or is not guaranteed, at least not with respect to the radial direction 24 and / or the circumferential direction 31 or with respect to the second component 6. This alignment of the first component 3 (or the bearing support) is only guaranteed via the guide elements 10, 11, 27 (and subsequently via the spiral elements 12, 13).
[0084] The third component 14 is provided as (a part of) a subassembly, wherein the subassembly is a differential. Here, the third component 14 is a component of the subassembly. The third component 14, which is implemented as a rolling bearing, is arranged via an inner ring 20 on a cylindrically implemented section of the subassembly or differential housing 30 and is fixed to the section in a fixed position relative to the axial direction 9 via a fixing ring 29 (and via a shoulder at the subassembly).
[0085] According to step a), the provision of the first component 3 and the second component 6 (and the third component 14) is achieved. According to step b), the arrangement of the guide elements 10, 11, 27 in the threaded openings 4, 5 of the first component 3 is achieved, wherein each guide element 10, 11, 27 extends through one of the through holes 7, 8, 28 (see Figure 2 ).
[0086] Prior to step c), the guide element 10, 11, 27 is arranged in the threaded bore 4, 5 and extends through the through hole 7, 8, 28. The guide element 10, 11, 27 is introduced into the threaded bore 4, 5 of the first component 3 via the through hole 7, 8, 28 of the second component 6, or alternatively, is first arranged in the threaded bore 4, 5, wherein the second component 6 is then provided and aligned with the first component 3 via the guide element 10, 11, 27.
[0087] The alignment of the first component 3 relative to the second component 6 is ensured via the guide elements 10, 11, 27. The screw elements 12, 13 can then be supplied via the second component 6, by means of which the first component 3 is fixed in the component 1. Here, it is ensured via the guide elements 10, 11, 27 that the screw elements 12, 13 are arranged aligned with the threaded openings 4, 5 and can thus be brought into threaded engagement with the threaded openings 4, 5.
[0088] The first component 3 is held by the fixing means 23 at least until step c), wherein the fixing means 23 is removed in order to bring the components 3, 6 together according to step c). Figure 2 ). Figure 1 , 2 4 and 5 show a holding device 32 which can be used to carry out steps a) to e) of the method.
[0089] In step c), the first component 3 (together with the third component 14) and the second component 6 are brought together in the axial direction 9. The components 3, 6, 14 are previously arranged spaced apart from one another in the axial direction 9 and are arranged relative to one another in the context of step c) in a position in which they are then used in the drive train 2 (corresponding to the arrangement according to Figure 4 During step c), ie during bringing the components 3 , 6 , 14 together, the components 3 , 6 are aligned with each other via the guide elements 10 , 11 , 27 .
[0090] In step c), the second component 6 is displaced relative to the guide elements 10, 11, 27 and relative to the first component 3 (and the third component 14) along the axial direction 9 (see Figure 2 ).
[0091] Prior to step c), the first component 3 is arranged to be aligned relative to the second component 6 (and the third component 14) only by means of the fixing means 23 relative to a radial direction 24 extending transversely to the axial direction 9 (see Figure 1 ).
[0092] The fixing device 23 ensures that the first component 3 is aligned relative to the second component 6 and relative to the radial direction 24 and optionally also the circumferential direction 31 , so that the guide elements 10 , 11 , 27 can be arranged in the threaded openings 4 , 5 via the through-holes 7 , 8 , 28 .
[0093] The fixing device 23 is designed in at least two parts. The parts of the fixing device 23 can be moved relative to each other at least along the radial direction 24 (see Figure 1 and Figure 2Thus, after the first component 3 has been aligned relative to the second component 6 or after the guide elements 10, 11, 27 have been arranged in the threaded openings 4, 5, the fixing device 23 can be removed so that the second component 6 can be moved into the provided installation position (see Figure 4 ).
[0094] If after step c) of the method or also already during step c) of the method the accessibility of the first component 3 is no longer ensured, it is necessary to remove the fixing device 23 (e.g. Figure 1 and Figure 2 (see ).
[0095] The third component 14 or the outer ring 19 has a first largest diameter 15. All center axes 16 of the threaded bores 4, 5 are arranged on a common second diameter 17, wherein the second diameter 17 is approximately 20% larger than the first diameter 15 (see Figure 1 , Figure 2 and Fig.14 ).
[0096] With the proposed method it is possible to arrange the threaded openings 4, 5 on the first component 3 as close as possible to the first largest diameter 15 of the third component 14. It is thus possible to ensure that the first component 3 is arranged as straight as possible on the third component 14. It is thus also possible to design the components 3, 6, 14 and thus the component 1 in a manner that saves as much space as possible.
[0097] Figure 2 The component 1 is shown during step c). The guide elements 10, 11, 27 (here only the first guide element 10 is shown) extend through the through holes 7, 8, 28 to the threaded openings 4, 5. The fixing device 23 is removed so that the second component 6 can be moved in the axial direction 9 so that the second component 6 and the combination or the first component 3 and the third component 14 can be arranged in the provided installation position (see Figure 4 ).
[0098] Figure 3 The perspective view shows the Figure 2 Component 1. Reference for Figure 1 and Figure 2 's explanation.
[0099] In step d), first the first guide element 10 is removed from the component 1 and then the first screw element 12 is introduced into the first threaded bore 4 via the first through hole 7. The first screw element 12 is then screwed together with the first threaded bore 10 via screwing. Here, the first guide element 10 is therefore replaced by the first screw element 12.
[0100] In step e), the second guide element 11 is removed from the component 1 and the second screw element 13 is introduced into the second threaded opening 5 via the second through hole 8. In step e), the second screw element 13 is further screwed together with the second threaded opening 5. In step e), all other screw elements 12, 13 can be arranged in the corresponding through holes 7, 8, 28 and screwed together with the threaded openings 4, 5 provided for this purpose. In the scope of step e), all guide elements 10, 11, 27 remaining after step d) are removed from the component 1. With the screwing of all the provided screw elements 12, 13, the component 1 is (completely) manufactured.
[0101] Figure 4 The perspective view shows the Figure 2 Component 1. Reference for Figures 1 to 3 's explanation.
