AI Technical Summary
Existing thin transformer structures increase the distance between the main winding coil and the secondary winding coil to increase leakage inductance, resulting in an increase in transformer height, which violates the requirement for a thin and light appearance.
The hollow column design of the winding frame, combined with the setting of the iron core and winding group, increases the spacing and sets the insulation layer at the spacing to replace the traditional resonant inductor and achieve an increase in leakage inductance.
It saves internal space and overall height of the transformer, reduces costs, and improves the practicality and automation of the transformer.

Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This case relates to a transformer, and more particularly to a thin transformer. Background Technology
[0002] Transformers can increase leakage inductance by incorporating resonant inductors, thereby adjusting their electrical characteristics. This can improve the transformer's load adaptability and stability, enabling it to operate more effectively under various working conditions. Furthermore, increased leakage inductance reduces the transformer's short-circuit current, thus reducing current losses in the transformer coils, which helps improve transformer efficiency and reduce energy loss.
[0003] Furthermore, current transformer structures increase the distance between the primary and secondary windings by adding slots between them, thus replacing the use of resonant inductors. However, the addition of slots increases the transformer's height, which does not meet the requirements for a slim and lightweight design in thin transformers.
[0004] In view of this, the applicant has devoted himself to studying the aforementioned prior art and applying theoretical principles to try his best to solve the above-mentioned problems, which has become the target of the applicant's improvement. Summary of the Invention
[0005] One objective of this project is to provide a thin transformer, thereby simplifying the connection structure of the fan module and increasing ease of use.
[0006] To achieve the aforementioned objectives, this invention relates to a thin transformer, comprising a winding frame, a pair of iron cores, a first winding assembly, and a second winding assembly. The winding frame has a first plate and a hollow post protruding from the first plate. The pair of iron cores are disposed on opposite sides of the winding frame. The first winding assembly is wound around the hollow post and disposed on the first plate, located between the pair of iron cores. The second winding assembly surrounds the first winding assembly and is disposed on the first plate. A gap exists between the second winding assembly and the first winding assembly.
[0007] In one embodiment of this invention, the winding frame has a second plate relative to the first plate, and a hollow column is disposed between the first plate and the second plate.
[0008] In one embodiment of this case, the pair of iron cores includes a first iron core and a second iron core. The first iron core has a first base and a first core post connected to the first base. The second iron core has a second base and a second core post connected to the second base. The first base is attached to a first plate, the second base is attached to a second plate, and the first core post and the second core post are perforated by hollow posts.
[0009] In one embodiment of this case, the first winding group and the second winding group surround the hollow column in a radial direction.
[0010] In one embodiment of this case, the interval is not less than 0.2 mm and not more than 13.5 mm.
[0011] In one embodiment of this invention, the thin transformer further includes an insulating layer disposed in the interval.
[0012] In one embodiment of this case, the thickness of the insulating layer is not less than 0.2 mm and not more than 13.5 mm.
[0013] In one embodiment of this invention, the two sides of the insulating layer abut against the first winding group and the second winding group, respectively.
[0014] In one embodiment of this case, the thickness of the thin transformer is less than 20 mm.
[0015] Compared to existing designs, the thin transformer of this invention features a winding frame with a first surface and a hollow column protruding from a first plate. The first and second winding groups are wound around the hollow column and positioned on the first plate between the pair of iron cores, with a gap between the second and first winding groups. Furthermore, the thin transformer of this invention can incorporate an insulating layer within this gap, with its two sides abutting against the first and second winding groups to ensure the gap. Moreover, the gap or insulating layer design of this invention can increase leakage inductance by more than 15%, replacing the resonant inductor of the LLC circuit in traditional transformers. This saves internal space and overall height of the thin transformer, facilitates automation, reduces costs, and increases the practicality of this invention. Attached Figure Description

[0038] The detailed description and technical content of this case are illustrated below with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the accompanying drawings are for reference and illustration purposes only and are not intended to limit the scope of this case.
[0039] Please refer to Figure 1 , Figure 2A and Figure 2B This document presents an exploded perspective view, a perspective view of the thin transformer, and a perspective view of the winding frame for the present invention. The thin transformer 1 of this invention includes a winding frame (Bobbin) 10, a pair of iron cores 20, a first winding group 30, and a second winding group 40. The winding frame 10 has a first plate 11 and a hollow post 13 protruding from the first plate 11. Specifically, the winding frame 10 has a second plate 12 relative to the first plate 11. The hollow post 13 is located between the first plate 11 and the second plate 12.
[0040] The pair of iron cores 20 are disposed on opposite sides of the winding frame 10, and include a first iron core 21 and a second iron core 22. The first iron core 21 has a first base 211 and a first core post 212 connected to the first base 211. The second iron core 22 has a second base 221 and a second core post 222 connected to the second base 221. Furthermore, the first base 211 is attached to the first plate 11. The second base 221 is attached to the second plate 12. The first core post 212 and the second core post 222 pass through the hollow post 13.
[0041] Furthermore, the first winding group 30 (or primary winding) is wound around the hollow column 13 and disposed on the first plate 11, and located between the pair of iron cores 20. The second winding group 40 (or secondary winding) surrounds the first winding group 30 and is disposed on the first plate 11. The second winding group 40 and the first winding group 30 have a spacing distance 50. In actual implementation, the spacing distance 50 is not less than 0.2 mm and not more than 13.5 mm, but is not limited thereto, and in actual implementation, the thickness of the thin transformer 1 is less than 20 mm.
[0042] Please refer to another source. Figure 2B , Figure 3 and Figure 4 This is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of the winding frame and a cross-sectional view of the thin transformer from both sides. As can be seen from the figure, the first winding group 30 and the second winding group 40 surround the hollow column 13 in a radial direction. The first winding group 30 and the second winding group 40 are concentrically arranged on the first plate 11.
[0043] Please refer to again Figure 5 and Figure 6 This is a cross-sectional view of another embodiment of the thin transformer in this case. In this embodiment, the thin transformer 1a includes a winding frame 10a, a pair of iron cores 20a, a first winding group 30a, and a second winding group 40a. The winding frame 10a has a hollow column 13a. The pair of iron cores 20a are disposed on opposite sides of the winding frame 10a. The first winding group 30a and the second winding group 40a surround the hollow column 13a in a radial direction and are located between the pair of iron cores 20a. Furthermore, the second winding group 40a and the first winding group 30a are spaced apart by a distance 50a.
[0044] The difference in this embodiment is that the thin transformer 1a also includes an insulating layer 60a. This insulating layer 60a is made of insulating material and is disposed within the spacing distance 50a. Furthermore, the thickness of the insulating layer 60a is not less than 0.2 mm and not more than 13.5 mm. Accordingly, the two sides of the insulating layer 60a respectively abut against the first winding group 30a and the second winding group 40a to ensure the spacing distance 50a between the first winding group 30a and the second winding group 40a, thereby increasing the leakage inductance of the thin transformer 1a.
[0045] The above description is merely a preferred embodiment of this case and is not intended to define the claims of this case. Other equivalent variations that utilize the spirit of this patent should all be included in the claims of this case.
