Modular unmanned aerial vehicle hydrogen fuel cell system

Abstract

This invention discloses a modular unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) hydrogen fuel cell system, including a battery module and a fuel tank module. Quick-release components are provided at each corner of the top surface of the battery module for detachable connection to the UAV body. The fuel tank module includes fuel tank assemblies symmetrically distributed on opposite sides of the battery module. Each fuel tank assembly includes a fuel tank compartment and a fuel tank body detachably inserted into the compartment. A connector is fixedly provided on the top of each fuel tank compartment for fixed connection to the UAV body. In this invention, the fuel tank module is independently arranged outside the battery module, and the fuel tank body is assembled into the fuel tank compartment via a detachable insertion structure. This layout maintains a safe distance between the fuel tank body and the hydrogen fuel cell in the battery module, reducing the safety threat to the battery module in case of hydrogen leakage. Simultaneously, the detachable design of the fuel tank body facilitates quick replacement for hydrogen refueling, thereby improving the UAV's operational efficiency.
