AI Technical Summary
Existing mold changing devices, when not using box molds, require the large size and weight of the molds to be lifted by a winch for replacement, and suffer from long replacement times and low safety. When using box molds, although the replacement time is short, track height deviation may cause the mold to fall.
A mold changing trolley was designed, which has a trolley track and a locking part, and can be positioned and locked with the mold carrier. The locking and unlocking operation assists in the handover of the box mold, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the changeover.
This device enables safer, easier, and faster mold replacement when using a mold-making device, reducing the risk of mold falling and improving the ease of operation for workers.

Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The technology disclosed in this specification relates to a trolley for mold changing. Background Technology
[0002] Various mold-making devices have been used in the manufacture of die-cast or resin-molded products. Furthermore, during manufacturing, the molds in the mold-making device must be changed depending on the type of molded product. Among mold-making devices, there are box mold devices that use box molds, which are relatively easy to change, and mold devices that do not use box molds.
[0003] In mold-making devices that do not use box molds, the size and weight of the molds to be replaced are very large, requiring a winch, often called a light-duty crane, to lift them for replacement. Therefore, mold replacement can only be performed by skilled personnel, and the replacement time is relatively long. In contrast, in box-making devices that use box molds, the size and weight of the box molds to be replaced are much smaller compared to those without box molds. Therefore, replacement is not performed by skilled personnel using a light-duty crane. Thus, only a portion of the replacement work needs to be done by general operators loading the box mold onto a trolley, allowing for easy replacement in a shorter time.
[0004] For example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 8-11283 discloses a mold-making device that has a guide rail installed below for positioning a relatively large trolley that an operator rides on and drives. Furthermore, a cam follower and a cylinder are provided below the trolley to engage with the guide rail. The operator drives the trolley, causing the cam follower and cylinder located below the trolley to engage at a predetermined position on the guide rail, thereby positioning the trolley relative to the mold-making device. Moreover, when changing molds, the mold is transferred between a track on the mold-making device positioned above the guide rail and a track on the trolley positioned above the cam follower and cylinder.
[0005] In addition, Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2013-86492 describes the following: a relatively small trolley pushed by the operator is moved into a designated position of the mold device, and the operator transfers the mold between the track of the mold device and the track of the trolley. Summary of the Invention
[0006] The problem the invention aims to solve
[0007] The mold assembly and trolley described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 8-11283 do not directly position the trolley's track relative to the track of the mold assembly on which the mold is mounted. Instead, a guide member located separately from and below the tracks of both is used to position the trolley relative to the mold assembly. Therefore, if, for example, the height of the mold assembly's track is offset from the height of the trolley's track or if there is a lateral misalignment, a height difference may occur between the tracks of the mold assembly and the trolley, making it impossible to properly transfer the mold for replacement between the mold assembly and the trolley.
[0008] Furthermore, regarding the mold assembly and trolley described in Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2013-86492, the trolley wheels have a locking mechanism. However, similar to Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 8-11283, the trolley's track is not directly positioned relative to the track of the mold assembly on which the mold is mounted. The trolley's track has a lifting mechanism, thus suppressing any deviation between the height of the mold assembly's track and the trolley's track. However, if the trolley moves during mold changing operations, there is a possibility that the mold may fall.
[0009] Therefore, the technology disclosed in this specification provides a mold changing trolley that can assist operators in changing box molds more safely, easily, and in a shorter time during the box mold changing operation of a box mold changing device using box molds.
[0010] Solution for solving the problem
[0011] To solve the above problems, the mold changing trolley disclosed in this specification adopts the following methods.
[0012] The first technical solution is a mold changing trolley, which assists in the handover of the box mold between a box mold mounting device and a mold changing device. The box mold can be replaced relative to a base mold having a fixed side mold and a movable side mold. The mold changing device removes the box mold from the base mold and installs another box mold onto the base mold. The mold changing trolley includes a trolley track that connects to the mold mounting platform of the mold changing device. The trolley track has a trolley-side facing surface opposite to the mold mounting platform. The mold mounting platform is configured to hold the box mold removed from the base mold by the mold changing device, or the box mold installed from the base mold by the mold changing device onto the base mold. The mold mounting platform of the box mold has a device-side opposing surface opposite to the trolley track and a locking part disposed on or near the device-side opposing surface; the locking part is disposed on the trolley-side opposing surface and is capable of locking with the locking part; and a locking state operation unit is operable to either a locking state or a locking release state. In the locking state, the locking part that locks the trolley-side opposing surface to the device-side opposing surface and positions the trolley track relative to the mold mounting platform and is locked with the locking part is kept in the locking state. In the locking release state, the locking state is released, allowing the trolley track to separate from the mold mounting platform. Attached Figure Description

[0028] The embodiments will now be described based on the accompanying drawings. Furthermore, when the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis are shown in the drawings, they are orthogonal to each other, with the Z-axis extending vertically and the X-axis and Y-axis extending horizontally. More specifically, the Z-direction refers to the vertical direction upwards. Additionally, as... Figure 1As shown, the Y direction represents the direction in which the movable mold 12 approaches the fixed mold 11, and the X direction represents the direction from the mold platform 31 toward the mold changing trolley 50 when changing the box mold 20 using the mold changing trolley 50. Furthermore, the X-axis direction refers to the X direction and the direction opposite to it, and the Y-axis direction refers to the Y direction and the direction opposite to it. The mold changing trolley 50 described in this embodiment... Figure 1 The operation of the operator S in the mold system 1 shown is to hand over the box mold 20 between the auxiliary mold changing device 30 and the mold changing device 20 when changing the box mold 20.
[0029] <<The overall structure of mold system 1 ( Figure 1 , Figure 2 )>>
[0030] First, use Figure 1 , Figure 2 An example of the overall structure of mold system 1 is given. Mold system 1 includes a box mold device 2, an injection device 3, auxiliary equipment 4, a mold frame 5, a mold change trolley 50, etc.
[0031] The box mold assembly 2 includes a base mold 10, a mold changing device 30, a molding operation plate 2a and a changing operation plate 2b, an assembly-side guide 42 (also called a guide member), and an assembly-side positioning part 41. The base mold 10 has a fixed-side mold 11 and a movable-side mold 12. The assembly-side guide 42 and the assembly-side positioning part 41 guide and position the mold changing trolley 50.
[0032] A fixed-side box 21 with a box mold 20 is mounted on a fixed-side mold 11. A movable-side box 22 with a box mold 20 is mounted on a movable-side mold 12. The box mold 20 can be replaced relative to the base mold 10.
[0033] The mold changing device 30 is a device that automatically removes the box mold 20 from the base mold 10 and automatically installs another box mold 20 onto the base mold 10. During the removal process when changing a box mold, the mold changing device 30 automatically removes the box mold 20 from the base mold 10 and places it on the mold mounting table 31. Furthermore, during the installation process when changing a box mold, the mold changing device 30 automatically installs the box mold 20 placed on the mold mounting table 31 onto the base mold 10. Details regarding the removal and installation operations of the mold changing device 30 are omitted here.
[0034] like Figure 2As shown, the mold changing device 30 includes a mold mounting platform 31 for the mold box 20, a lifter 32, and a shifter 33. The lifter 32 includes a lifting cylinder, which moves the mold mounting platform 31 up and down. The shifter 33 includes a shift motor 33m and a shift screw 33n, which moves the mold mounting platform 31, which is integrated with the shifter 33, along a shift track 33r extending in the Y-axis direction (see reference). Figure 5 It moves back and forth.
[0035] The injection unit 3 is a device for injecting molten aluminum, resin, etc., during the manufacturing of molded articles. Additionally, the accessory equipment 4 includes a robotic arm 4a for removing the molded article manufactured by the mold assembly 2 (see reference). Figure 1 ) and conveyor 4b that transports the removed molded parts to the next process (see reference) Figure 1 The accessory equipment 4 is configured to supply compressed air, water, oil, electricity, etc., used in the box mold device 2, etc. The mold rack 5 is a rack for storing the box molds 20 prepared for each type of molded product.
[0036] The following is a summary of the steps taken by operator S during the box mold 20 replacement operation. Further details regarding the steps taken by operator S during the box mold 20 replacement operation will follow.
[0037] When the molded product changes, operator S operates the molding operation panel 2a to stop molding and operates the replacement operation panel 2b to instruct the removal of the box mold 20. Then, the mold changing device 30 automatically removes the box mold 20 from the base mold 10 according to the instruction and places the box mold 20 on the mold placement table 31.
[0038] Next, operator S moves the empty mold changing trolley 50 (without the box mold) to the mold changing device 30. Then, operator S moves the box mold 20 from the mold placement table 31 to the mold changing trolley 50, and moves the mold changing trolley 50 to the mold holder 5, storing the box mold 20 in the mold holder 5.
[0039] Next, operator S removes another box mold 20 for manufacturing the next molded product from mold rack 5 and places it on mold changing trolley 50. Then, operator S moves the mold changing trolley 50 carrying the box mold 20 to the mold changing device 30. Subsequently, after moving the box mold 20 from the mold changing trolley 50 to the mold placement table 31, operator S separates the mold changing trolley 50 from the mold placement table 31.
[0040] Then, the operator S operates the changeover control panel 2b to instruct the installation of the box mold 20. Consequently, the mold changing device 30 automatically installs the box mold 20, which is placed on the mold placement platform 31, onto the base mold 10 according to the instructions, and the molding preparation is completed.
[0041] The mold changing trolley 50 assists the operator S in moving the box mold 20, which has been removed from the mold changing device 30 and placed on the mold placement table 31, towards the mold rack 5, and in moving another box mold 20 from the mold rack 5 towards the mold placement table 31. The mold changing trolley 50 has the following structure, thereby assisting the operator S in performing the above-mentioned operations more safely, easily, and in a shorter time.
[0042] <<Base mold 10 ( Figure 3 ) and box mold 20 ( Figure 4 ) appearance >>
[0043] Figure 3 yes Figure 1 and Figure 2 The figure shows a perspective view of the base mold 10 (fixed side mold 11 and movable side mold 12) of the box mold device 2. Figure 4 yes Figure 3 The diagram shows a perspective view of the box mold 20 (fixed side box 21 and movable side box 22) included in the base mold 10. Additionally, the diagram shows the mold changing device 30 (see reference). Figure 1 , Figure 2 The box mold 20 removed from the base mold 10 is as follows Figure 4 The fixed side box 21 and the movable side box 22, as shown, are disconnected. Furthermore, the operation of installing the box mold 20 onto the base mold 10 by the mold changing device 30 is then performed. Figure 4 The process begins with the fixed side box 21 and the movable side box 22 being connected together as shown.
[0044] like Figure 3 As shown, a fixed side box 21 is mounted on the fixed side mold 11 of the base mold 10. A movable side box 22 is mounted on the movable side mold 12 of the base mold 10. Furthermore, in this embodiment, core driving parts 12a, 12b, and 12c for actuating the cores 22a, 22b, and 22c of the movable side box 22 are provided on the movable side mold 12. Additionally, the shape of the molded article (not shown) is engraved on the opposing surfaces of the fixed side box 21 and the movable side box 22.
[0045] Additionally, the mold changing device 30 (see reference) Figure 1 , Figure 2 The box mold 20 removed from the base mold 10 and the box mold 20 installed on the base mold 10 by the mold changing device 30 are as follows: Figure 4 As shown, the fixed side box 21 and the movable side box 22 are connected together. In addition, the movable side box 22 has an ejector plate 22d used for removing the molded article and an ejector shaft 22e that protrudes from the movable side box 22 and is connected to the ejector plate 22d.
[0046] <<The appearance of the mold mounting platform 31 and its surroundings of the mold changing device 30 ( Figure 5 )>>
[0047] exist Figure 5 In the middle, the double-dotted line represents the box mold 20 that is removed from the base mold 10 by the mold changing device 30 and placed on the mold placing platform 31 (or the box mold 20 placed on the mold placing platform 31 by the mold changing device 30 for installation onto the base mold 10).
[0048] like Figure 5 As shown, the upper surface of the mold mounting platform 31 is provided with a positioning stop 31a, a drop prevention stop 31b, a rear stop 31c, a device track 31n, and rollers 31r. The rollers 31r facilitate the movement of the box mold 20 on the mold mounting platform 31 along the X-axis. The rear stop 31c prevents the box mold 20 from moving rearward (in the opposite direction to the X-axis) and falling off the mold mounting platform 31. The positioning stop 31a holds the box mold 20 between the positioning stop 31a and the rear stop 31c (equivalent to a "prescribed position" on the mold mounting platform 31). The drop prevention stop 31b prevents the box mold 20 from moving forward (in the X-axis) and falling off the mold mounting platform 31, even if the positioning stop 31a fails to function for some reason.
[0049] Additionally, a mold guide 31k is provided on the side of the mold mounting platform 31 opposite to the Y direction. The mold guide 31k is inserted between the movable side box 22 and the ejector plate 22d. Thus, the mold guide 31k inhibits the mold 20 ( Figure 5 The movement of the guide box mold 20 along the X-axis is indicated by the double-dotted line (as shown in the middle).
[0050] Additionally, the front side of the mold mounting platform 31 (the side opposite to the mold changing trolley 50) (see reference) Figure 1 The device side opposite surface 31m is provided with a positioning hole 31h, a positioning stop operation hole 31e, a fall prevention stop operation hole 31f, an opening 31s, etc.
[0051] Positioning hole 31h is used in the box mold 20 replacement process. Figure 8 The locking part 55c shown is inserted. A predetermined interval D1 (see reference) is provided at the opening 31s. Figure 12 A pair of locking pins 31p (equivalent to the locked part) extending downwards. The pair of locking pins 31p are provided on or near the device-side opposite surface 31m.
[0052] <<The overall structure of the mold changing trolley 50 ( Figure 6 , Figure 7 )>>
[0053] Next, use Figure 6 and Figure 7 The overall structure of the mold changing trolley 50 is described below. The mold changing trolley 50 includes a lower worktable 51, an upper worktable 52, and a lifting device 53 that raises and lowers the upper worktable 52 relative to the lower worktable 51.
[0054] The mold changing trolley 50 has a rear wall 51k extending along the Z direction from one end of the lower worktable 51, and a trolley handle 51g disposed at the upper end of the rear wall 51k. The trolley handle 51g is configured to be held by the operator S when moving the mold changing trolley 50. A pair of free casters 51d are provided on the bottom surface of the lower worktable 51 closer to the trolley handle 51g. A pair of fixed casters 51f are provided on the bottom surface of the lower worktable 51 farther from the trolley handle 51g. Furthermore, a drive wheel 51e driven by an electric motor 51m is disposed on the bottom surface of the lower worktable 51 between the free casters 51d and the fixed casters 51f.
[0055] The drive wheel 51e is a wheel positioned approximately in the center of the lower worktable 51 when viewed from above as the mold changing trolley 50. Power is supplied to the electric motor 51m from the battery 51n mounted on the lower worktable 51. When the operator S holds the travel operating handle 51h mounted on the trolley handle 51g and moves the travel operating handle 51h forward (… Figure 6 , Figure 7 When the mold changing trolley 50 is pushed in the direction opposite to the X direction (where X is the direction of the mold), the drive wheel 51e causes the mold changing trolley 50 to move forward at a safe speed (in the direction opposite to the X direction). Additionally, when the operator S holds the travel operating handle 51h and moves the travel operating handle 51h backward (where X is the direction of the mold changing trolley 50), the drive wheel 51e causes the mold changing trolley 50 to move forward at a safe speed (in the direction opposite to the X direction). Figure 6 , Figure 7 When pulled (in the X direction), the drive wheel 51e causes the mold changing trolley 50 to move backward at a safe speed (in the X direction).
[0056] In addition, the mold changing trolley 50 has a device at the other end of the lower worktable 51.Figure 1 , Figure 5 and Figure 6 The diagram shows a pair of trolley-side guides 51b guided by the device-side guide 42, and a pair of trolley-side positioning portions 51a positioned by engaging with the device-side positioning portion 41. In this embodiment, the trolley-side guide 51b is a roller that rotates around a vertical axis. On the other hand, the device-side guide 42 is a plate-shaped component extending in the X direction from the lifter 32 side, bent outwards at an angle of approximately 30-45° at roughly the center. Therefore, when the mold changing trolley 50 moves towards the box mold assembly 2, the trolley-side guide 51b rolls into contact with the device-side guide 42, thereby smoothly guiding the mold changing trolley 50 to a connectable position where the trolley-side opposite surface 55m contacts or approaches the device-side opposite surface 31m.
[0057] In addition, the lower workbench 51 has a lifting handle 53h, a height information display unit 53g, a trolley connecting rod 51v, a trolley connecting part 51w, and a ground locking device 51s. The operator S can fix the positioned mold replacement trolley 50 relative to the ground by stepping on the ground locking device 51s, and can release the fixation by stepping on it again.
[0058] The lifting handle 53h is operated by the operator S to actuate the lifting device 53, thereby raising or lowering the upper worktable 52. The height information display unit 53g displays the height information of the upper worktable 52 relative to the ground, etc. Additionally, the mold mounting platform 31 of the mold changing device 30 (see reference...) Figure 5~Figure 7 The height information of the mold mounting platform 31 relative to the ground is displayed (illustration omitted). When changing a box mold, before positioning the mold changing trolley 50 towards the mold mounting platform 31, the operator S first confirms the height information displayed on the mold mounting platform 31. Then, while observing the height information display unit 53g, the operator S operates the lifting handle 53h to adjust the height of the upper worktable 52 so that the height information of the mold mounting platform 31 matches the height information displayed on the height information display unit 53g.
[0059] The trolley connecting rod 51v is located on the rear wall 51k. When operator S operates the trolley connecting rod 51v, as... Figure 7 As shown, the trolley connecting part 51w located at the front end of the mold changing trolley 50 operates to connect and disconnect with the connected part (not shown) located in the mold changing device 30.
[0060] The upper worktable 52 is equipped with a trolley track 56 having a fixed track 54 and a movable track 55, an engaging chain device 57, etc. As described later, the trolley track 56 (movable track 55) can engage with the device track 31n of the mold placement table 31 (see reference). Figure 5 )link.
[0061] The fixed track 54 is a pair of tracks fixed to the upper worktable 52. Multiple rollers 54r are provided on the upper surface of the fixed track 54 to facilitate the movement of the box mold 20 (movement along the X-axis direction). In addition, an engaging chain device 57 is installed on the side of the fixed track 54 closer to the trolley handle 51g (near the end in the X direction).
[0062] The movable track 55 is a pair of tracks mounted on the upper worktable 52. The movable track 55 can slide relative to the fixed track 54 along the length direction (X-axis direction) of the fixed track 54. Therefore, in Figure 6 and Figure 7 In this configuration, when the movable track 55 slides in the direction opposite to the X direction, the trolley track 56 formed by the fixed track 54 and the movable track 55 extends. Additionally, in... Figure 6 and Figure 7 When the movable track 55 slides along the X direction, the trolley track 56 formed by the fixed track 54 and the movable track 55 shortens.
[0063] Here, in Figure 6 and Figure 7 When changing the mold, the surface of the movable track 55 opposite to the mold mounting platform 31 (the side of the movable track 55 opposite to the trolley handle 51g) is designated as the trolley-side facing surface 55m. The surface of the mold mounting platform 31 opposite to the trolley-side facing surface 55m is designated as the device-side facing surface 31m. As described above, the trolley track 56, composed of the fixed track 54 and the movable track 55, can extend and retract along the track length direction (X-axis direction), which is the length direction of the trolley track 56 (movable track 55). Furthermore, multiple rollers 55r are provided on the upper surface of the movable track 55 to facilitate the movement of the box mold 20 (movement along the X-axis direction). Additionally, the width of the movable track 55 is set to a width sufficient to mount and move the box mold 20.
[0064] Additionally, guide members 55t and 55u (see reference) are provided along the length direction (X-axis direction) of the movable track 55. Figure 6~Figure 8 Guide elements 55t and 55u prevent the box mold 20 from shifting in the Y-axis direction and falling off the movable track 55.
[0065] The meshing chain device 57 includes a chain handle 57h for operation by an operator S, a meshing chain 57a that extends and retracts along the X-axis, a mold connecting part 57b located at the top of the meshing chain 57a, and a mold connecting rod 57c that rotates the mold connecting part 57b.
[0066] The meshing chain device 57 houses two chains. When the operator S rotates the chain handle 57h to the right, the two chains mesh together, forming a rod-shaped meshing chain 57a that extends in the opposite direction to the X direction (see reference). Figure 6 , Figure 7 Additionally, when operator S rotates the chain handle 57h to the left, the meshing chain 57a separates into two chains while being stored in the meshing chain device 57, and the meshing chain 57a retracts in the X direction.
[0067] like Figure 7 As shown, a pin is vertically mounted on the mold connecting part 57b. When the operator S moves the mold connecting rod 57c in the opposite direction to the Y direction (rotating counterclockwise about the central axis of the connecting part along the X-axis), the pin of the mold connecting part 57b becomes vertical and can be inserted into the pin hole provided on the box mold 20. Furthermore, when the operator S inserts the mold connecting part 57b into the pin hole of the box mold 20 and moves the mold connecting rod 57c in the Y direction (rotating clockwise about the central axis of the connecting part), the pin of the mold connecting part 57b becomes horizontal and is locked in the pin hole of the box mold 20. A push-pull mechanism 57d is formed by the meshing chain 57a and the mold connecting part 57b. The push-pull mechanism 57d can push and pull the device track 31n (see reference) along the track length direction (X-axis direction). Figure 5 ) or trolley track 56 (refer to) Figure 6 , Figure 7 ) box mold 20.
[0068] <<The structure around the 55m opposite side of the mold changing trolley 50 ( Figure 8 , Figure 9 ) and the surrounding structure 31m from the opposite side of the device ( Figure 10 )>>
[0069] like Figure 8 and Figure 9 As shown, a positioning pin 55p, a drop prevention stop release part 55b, a reciprocating operation part insertion hole 55n, and a locking part 55c are provided on the opposite side 55m of the trolley. When changing the box mold, the movable track 55 (see reference) is operated by the operator S. Figure 8 ) 55m from the opposite side of the trolley (refer to) Figure 8 ) and the opposite side of the device 31m (refer to) Figure 5 , Figure 10 The contact method is with the device track 31n of the mold placement platform 31 (refer to...) Figure 5 Then, operator S transfers the box mold between the mold changing trolley 50 and the mold placement platform 31.
[0070] The locating pin 55p is inserted into Figure 5The positioning hole 31h of the mold mounting platform 31 shown is opposite to the trolley side surface 55m of the movable track 55 (see reference). Figure 8 The device side opposite to the mold mounting platform 31 (refer to the device side 31m) Figure 5 The pin is used to position the pin.
[0071] The drop prevention stop release part 55b is inserted into Figure 5 The mold mounting platform 31 shown has a drop prevention stop operation hole 31f. The drop prevention stop release part 55b is for... Figure 5 The component shown is a member that releases the fall prevention stop 31b from the box mold 20 when it is lowered on the mold platform 31.
[0072] Figure 10 This is a schematic diagram of the structure surrounding the fall prevention stop 31b and the positioning stop 31a located on the mold mounting platform 31. When the trolley-side opposing surface 55m is positioned and in contact (approaching) with the device-side opposing surface 31m (when the movable track 55 is connected to the mold mounting platform 31), the fall prevention stop release part 55b is inserted into the fall prevention stop operation hole 31f of the mold mounting platform 31. Figure 10 As shown, when the drop prevention stop release part 55b is inserted into the drop prevention stop operation hole 31f, the inclined part formed at the front presses the roller 37a downward, causing the drop prevention stop 31b to descend (changing the drop prevention state to the drop prevention release state). When the mold changing trolley 50 separates from the mold mounting table 31 and the drop prevention stop release part 55b is pulled out from the drop prevention stop operation hole 31f, the drop prevention stop 31b rises due to the elastic force of the spring 37b (becoming the drop prevention state).
[0073] The reciprocating operating part insertion hole 55n is for supplying Figure 8 and Figure 9 The top end of the rod-shaped positioning stop control part 55a has an inlet hole. The operator S can move the positioning stop control part 55a reciprocally along the X-axis by operating the positioning stop operating rod 55v. After connecting the movable track 55 to the mold mounting table 31, the operator S can move the positioning stop control part 55a reciprocally by operating the positioning stop operating rod 55v. Figure 10 As shown, the top end of the positioning stop control unit 55a can enter and exit the positioning stop operation hole 31e of the mold mounting table 31, thereby causing the positioning stop 31a to rise or fall.
[0074] like Figure 10As shown, when the top end of the positioning stop control unit 55a is inserted into the positioning stop operating hole 31e and the shaft 36a is pressed in the direction opposite to the X direction, the positioning stop 31a descends via gears 36b, 36c, 36d and rack 36e. Thus, the positioning stop 31a is in a released positioning state, no longer protruding from the upper surface of the mold mounting table 31. When the top end of the positioning stop control unit 55a is pulled out from the positioning stop operating hole 31e, as... Figure 10 As shown, the positioning stop 31a rises due to the elastic force of the spring 36f. As a result, the positioning stop 31a is positioned so that it protrudes above the upper surface of the mold mounting platform 31.
[0075] The locking part 55c is inserted into Figure 5 and Figure 10 The mold mounting platform 31 shown has a pair of locking pins 31p that hold the movable track 55 connected to the mold mounting platform 31 in a connected state (locked state) or release it (unlocked state). For example... Figure 11 As shown, the locking part 55c includes a locking base part 55d, an opening and closing part 55e, an opening and closing guide part 55f, a reciprocating operation part 55g, and an elastic member 55y. The locking part 55c can be locked with a pair of locking pins 31p (equivalent to the locked part).
[0076] like Figure 8 and Figure 9 As shown, the locking base 55d is installed and fixed to the opposite side 55m of the trolley. (As shown) Figure 9 and Figure 12~Figure 15 As shown, the opening / closing part 55e is mounted to the locking base part 55d via a rotating pin 55h, and can rotate around the rotating pin 55h. Additionally, as... Figure 9 and Figure 12~Figure 15 As shown, an opening / closing guide pin 55j is vertically provided in the opening / closing part 55e. The opening / closing guide pin 55j is inserted into the guide hole 55k of the opening / closing guide part 55f, and the opening / closing part 55e performs the opening / closing action according to the movement of the opening / closing guide part 55f along the X-axis direction (see reference). Figure 12~Figure 15 ).
[0077] like Figure 9 and Figure 12~Figure 15 As shown, the top end of the reciprocating operating part 55g is connected to the opening / closing guide part 55f. (As indicated...) Figure 8 As shown, the reciprocating operating unit 55g can reciprocate along the length direction (X-axis direction) of the trolley track 56 (movable track 55). Figure 9As shown, the operator S can reciprocate the reciprocating operating part 55g (i.e., the opening / closing guide part 55f) along the X-axis direction by operating the locking operating lever 55w. Furthermore, the reciprocating operating part 55g and the opening / closing guide part 55f constitute the locking state operating part 55x. As described above, the locking state operating part 55x can operate the locking part 55c, which is locked with the locking pin 31p (the locked part), to either a locked state or a unlocked state.
[0078] <<The locking and unlocking states of the locking part 55c, which is locked to the locking pin 31p (the locked part), are operated ( Figure 11~Figure 15 )>>
[0079] Figure 11 This indicates that the movable track 55 of the trolley 50, which will be used to change the mold, is about to be installed (see reference). Figure 8 ) and mold mounting platform 31 (refer to Figure 5 The mold mounting platform 31 and the locking part 55c (the locking part 55c provided at the top of the movable track 55) are in the state before connection. When connecting the movable track 55 to the mold mounting platform 31, as follows: Figure 12~Figure 15 As shown, the locking base portion 55d and the opening / closing portion 55e of the locking portion 55c are inserted between a pair of locking pins 31p (locked portions).
[0080] Figure 12 Viewed from below Figure 11 The diagram shows the state. In addition, the pair of opening and closing parts 55e are forcefully applied by the elastic member 55y in such a way that they are opened on the opposite side of the trolley side 55m (force is applied in such a way that they are in the open state).
[0081] Figure 13 Indicates from Figure 12 In the shown state, the operator S moves the mold changing trolley 50 forward, and the locking part 55c is inserted halfway between a pair of locking pins 31p. Furthermore, the opening / closing guide part 55f of the locking part 55c is in a position that does not interfere with the locking pins 31p. That is, the downward extension length of the locking pins 31p does not reach the opening / closing guide part 55f. Figure 13 As shown, in the ratio Figure 12 The open / closed portion 55e, in the open state with a predetermined interval D1 wide, collides with the locking pin 31p, but is automatically pushed by the locking pin 31p to rotate towards the closed state, which is narrower than the predetermined interval D1. At this time, as shown... Figure 13 As shown, the operating distance L2 between the rotating pin 55h and the opening / closing guide 55f becomes greater than... Figure 12 The operating distance L1 shown is slightly larger, so the reciprocating operating part 55g is pushed in the X direction by the amount of operating distance L2.
[0082] Figure 14 Indicates from Figure 13In the indicated state, the operator S further advances the mold changing trolley 50 until the trolley-side facing surface 55m of the mold changing trolley 50 approaches (almost contacts) the device-side facing surface 31m of the mold mounting platform 31. In this state, the opening and closing portion 55e of the locking part 55c is completely controlled by a pair of locking pins 31p. Furthermore, Figure 14 This indicates that operator S is using the 55w control lever (reference). Figure 9 And cause the reciprocating operating part 55g to move towards Figure 14 The state shown is one in which the rotation pin 55h has moved in the Xa direction. At this time, the operating distance L3 between the rotating pin 55h and the opening / closing guide 55f is approximately zero. In this case, the opening / closing guide pin 55j is guided by the guide hole 55k of the opening / closing guide 55f, and, by the force of the elastic member 55y, the opening / closing part 55e becomes... Figure 14 The open state shown (opening / closing part 55e) Figure 12 The specified interval D1 width is shown in the diagram.
[0083] exist Figure 14 In the open state shown, if the mold changing trolley 50 wants to separate from the mold mounting table 31 (move in the X direction), the rear end of the opening / closing part 55e (the left end in the figure) interferes with a pair of locking pins 31p. That is, the opening / closing part 55e of the locking part 55c, which is in the open state, prevents the mold changing trolley 50 from separating from the mold mounting table 31 (set to the locking state).
[0084] Figure 15 Indicates from Figure 14 The state shown indicates that the operator S operates the locking lever 55w (refer to...). Figure 9 And cause the reciprocating operating part 55g to move towards Figure 15 The state shown is one where the Xb direction has been moved. At this time, the operating distance L4 between the rotating pin 55h and the opening / closing guide 55f is... Figure 14 The operating distance L3 shown is slightly increased. In this case, the opening / closing guide pin 55j is guided by the guide hole 55k of the opening / closing guide part 55f, and the opening / closing part 55e becomes... Figure 15 The closed state shown (opening / closing part 55e) Figure 12 (The specified interval D1 is narrow).
[0085] exist Figure 15 In the closed state shown, the locking part 55c is in the locking and locking state of the opening and closing part 55e. Figure 14The state shown is released (becoming the locking release state). In this state, the operator S can retract the mold changing trolley 50 to separate it from the mold mounting table 31. That is, the opening / closing part 55e of the locking part 55c, which is in the closed state, allows the mold changing trolley 50 to separate from the mold mounting table 31 (set to the locking release state). In this way, the opening / closing part 55e can change between the closed state and the open state.
[0086] <<Operational Procedures for Operator S When Changing Box Mold 20>>
[0087] The mold changing trolley 50 and the mold placement platform 31 have the structures described above. When changing the box mold 20, the operator S needs to perform the following operations (1) and (2) as part of the box mold 20 changing operation, and the mold changing trolley 50 assists in the operations (1) and (2).
[0088] (1) (Using the mold changing trolley 50) make the mold changing device 30 (refer to) Figure 2 The box mold 20 is automatically removed and placed on the mold placement platform 31. Figure 5 The box mold 20, represented by a double-dotted line, is directed towards the mold holder 5 (see reference). Figure 1 )move.
[0089] (2) (Using the mold changing trolley 50) the mold changing device 30 (refer to) should be used. Figure 2 The automatically installed box mold is mounted from mold holder 5 (see reference). Figure 1 Move towards mold mounting platform 31 (towards) Figure 5 The position of the box mold 20, indicated by the double-dotted line, moves.
[0090] Operator S performs the above-mentioned (1) and (2) operations according to the following steps (A) to (T).
[0091] (A) Molding operation panel 2a of operating mold system 1 (refer to) Figure 1 This stops the manufacturing of the molded product, requiring the operation of changing control panel 2b (see reference). Figure 1 This causes the mold changing device 30 to remove the box mold 20 (see reference). Figure 2 , Figure 5 Additionally, the box mold 20, automatically removed by the mold changing device 30, is placed in... Figure 5 The position of the box mold 20 is indicated by a double-dotted line (the position between the positioning stop 31a and the rear stop 31c of the mold platform 31).
[0092] (B) Prepare an empty mold changing trolley 50 without a mold box, and use the lifting handle 53h and height information display unit 53g to adjust the height of the upper worktable 52 (height of the movable track 55) of the mold changing trolley 50 according to the height of the mold placement platform 31.
[0093] (C) Move the mold changing trolley 50 so that its movable track 55 is aligned with the mold mounting platform 31. Then, slowly advance the mold changing trolley 50 toward the box mold assembly 2, and guide the trolley side guide 51b of the mold changing trolley 50 (see reference). Figure 1 , Figure 6 , Figure 7 ) and the device-side guide 42 of the box mold device 2 (refer to Figure 1 , Figure 6 , Figure 7 The mold changing trolley 50 is guided to a connectable position by rolling contact. Then, the trolley-side positioning part 51a of the mold changing trolley 50 (see reference) is... Figure 1 , Figure 6 , Figure 7 ) and the device-side positioning part 41 of the box mold device 2 (refer to Figure 1 , Figure 6 , Figure 7 ) Fitting. Afterwards, operate the mold to change the trolley connecting rod 51v of the trolley 50 and connect the trolley connecting part 51w (refer to...) Figure 7 ) is connected to the box mold device 2. Then, step on the ground locking device 51s of the mold replacement trolley 50 (refer to...). Figure 6 , Figure 7 The mold replacement trolley 50 is fixed to the ground.
[0094] (D) Movable track 55 of mold changing trolley 50 (refer to) Figure 6~Figure 8 ) To the mold mounting platform 31 (refer to Figure 6 , Figure 7 ) Sliding movement on the side, so that the trolley side of the movable track 55 opposite to the trolley side 55m (refer to) Figure 6~Figure 8 ) and the device side opposite to the mold mounting platform 31 (refer to) the surface 31m. Figure 6 , Figure 7 The movable track 55 is brought into contact (or near) with the device track 31n, thereby connecting the movable track 55 to the device track 31n. At this time, the drop prevention stop 31b of the mold platform 31 (see reference) Figure 5 ) by releasing the anti-fall stop part 55b (refer to Figure 8 It descends automatically.
[0095] (E) The locking lever 55w of the trolley 50 for changing the mold (refer to) Figure 9 The locking part 55c is set to the locking state relative to the locking pin 31p.Figure 14 (As shown in the diagram). In the locked state, the locking part 55c, which is locked to the locking pin 31p (the locked part), remains locked. Thus, the movable track 55 of the mold changing trolley 50 is locked relative to the mold mounting table 31 for positioning and connection.
[0096] (F) Operation of the mold changing trolley 50 chain handle 57h (refer to) Figure 6 , Figure 7 This causes the meshing chain 57a and the mold connecting part 57b to extend (advance) toward the box mold 20 placed on the mold mounting table 31. After the mold connecting part 57b is inserted into the pin hole of the box mold 20, the operation of the chain handle 57h is stopped, and the mold connecting rod 57c is operated (refer to...). Figure 6 , Figure 7 The mold connecting part 57b is fixed to the pin hole of the box mold 20.
[0097] (G) The positioning stop operating lever 55v of the trolley 50 for changing molds (refer to) Figure 9 ), so that the positioning stop 31a of the mold mounting platform 31 (refer to Figure 5 The position is lowered (becoming the positioning release state). Afterwards, operate the chain handle 57h of the mold change trolley 50 (refer to...). Figure 6 , Figure 7 The meshing chain 57a retracts (retracts), pulling the box mold 20, which is fixed with the mold connection part 57b, closer, so that the box mold 20, which is placed on the mold placement table 31, moves toward the mold changing trolley 50. After the movement is completed, the operation of the chain handle 57h is stopped.
[0098] (H) The locking lever 55w of the trolley 50 for changing the mold (refer to) Figure 9 ), so that it becomes a locked state in (E) above ( Figure 14 The locking section 55c (as shown) changes to the locking release state. Figure 15 (As shown in the diagram). In the unlocked state, the locking state is released, allowing the trolley track 56 to separate from the mold mounting table 31. Afterwards, the ground locking device 51s is pressed down (see reference). Figure 6 , Figure 7 To release the fixation relative to the ground, operate the trolley connecting rod 51v (refer to...). Figure 6 , Figure 7 The connection of the trolley connection part 51w is then disconnected.
[0099] (I) The mold changing trolley 50 is moved backward and separated from the mold placement table 31, so that the mold changing trolley 50 carrying the removed box mold 20 is moved to the mold rack 5 (see reference). Figure 1Then, the box mold 20, which is placed on the mold changing trolley 50, is moved to the designated position on the mold holder 5 (the same operation as (O) and (P) below is performed).
[0100] (J) Select the box mold 20 from the mold holder 5 for use in the manufacture of the next molded product, using the chain handle 57h, the meshing chain 57a, the mold connecting part 57b, and the mold connecting rod 57c (see reference). Figure 6 , Figure 7 Perform the same operations as described in (F) and (G) above to move the box mold 20 from the mold holder 5 to the mold changing trolley 50. The mold connecting part 57b is inserted into and fixed in the pin hole of the box mold 20 placed on the mold changing trolley 50.
[0101] (K) Perform the same operation as (C) above, position and connect the mold changing trolley 50 relative to the box mold device 2, and fix the mold changing trolley 50 to the ground.
[0102] (L) Perform the same operation as (D) above to position and connect the movable track 55 relative to the mold mounting platform 31.
[0103] (M) Perform the same operation as (E) above to lock the movable track 55 in the position and connection state relative to the mold mounting platform 31 (to become the locked state).
[0104] (N) The positioning and stopping lever 55v of the trolley 50 for changing the mold (refer to) Figure 9 ), so that the positioning stop 31a of the mold mounting platform 31 (refer to Figure 5 The stop lowers (becomes in the positioning release state). Additionally, the fall prevention stop 31b automatically lowers.
[0105] (O) Operation of the mold changing trolley 50 chain handle 57h (refer to) Figure 6 , Figure 7 This causes the meshing chain 57a to extend (advance) toward the mold mounting table 31. Consequently, the box mold 20, which is fixed to the mold connection portion 57b at the front end of the meshing chain 57a, is pushed out and moved toward the mold mounting table 31. The box mold 20 is moved past the lowered positioning stop 31a (see reference). Figure 5 Stop operating the chain handle for 57 hours at the position of ).
[0106] (P) The positioning and stopping mechanism of the trolley 50 for changing the mold, operating lever 55v (refer to) Figure 9 ), so that the positioning stop 31a of the mold mounting platform 31 (refer to Figure 5 The chain rises (enters a positioning state). Afterwards, operate the chain handle for 57 hours (refer to...). Figure 6 , Figure 7This causes the meshing chain 57a to retract (retract), causing the box mold 20 and the positioning stop 31a (see reference) to... Figure 5 Contact (position) and stop the operation of chain handle 57h. Afterwards, operate mold connecting rod 57c (refer to...). Figure 6 , Figure 7 Release the mold connecting part 57b that is inserted into the pin hole of the box mold 20. Then, operate the chain handle 57h (refer to...). Figure 6 , Figure 7 This causes the meshing chain 57a and the mold connection 57b to retract (retract) and separate from the box mold 20.
[0107] (Q) Perform the same operation as (H) above, release the locking and connection between the movable track 55 and the mold changing trolley 50 and the mold placement platform 31 and the box mold device 2, and also release the fixation relative to the ground.
[0108] (R) Reverse the mold changing trolley 50 and separate it from the mold placement platform 31, move the mold changing trolley 50 to the trolley storage position (the position for storing the mold changing trolley 50), and press the ground locking device 51s (refer to...). Figure 6 , Figure 7 And fixed to the ground.
[0109] (S) Operation to change operation panel 2b (refer to) Figure 1 The box mold 20, which is placed on the mold placement platform 31, is automatically installed onto the base mold 10 using the mold changing device 30.
[0110] (T) Operation molding operation plate 2a (refer to) Figure 1 ), and begin manufacturing the finished product.
[0111] The operations described in (A) to (T) do not require special operations such as lifting with a light crane, so even ordinary workers, rather than skilled workers with special abilities, can perform the changeover operations more safely, easily, and in less time. Furthermore, by positioning and fixing the mold changing trolley 50 relative to the box mold device 2 (mold changing device 30), and by directly positioning and fixing the movable track 55 relative to the mold mounting platform 31 that holds the box mold, the operator can perform the changeover operations more safely. Moreover, the mold changing trolley 50 can appropriately assist the operator in performing the operations described in (A) to (T) more safely, easily, and in less time.
[0112] <<Other>>
[0113] The mold changing trolley 50 disclosed in this specification is not limited to the structure, construction, appearance, shape, etc., described in this embodiment, and various changes, additions, and deletions can be made without altering the essence of the technology disclosed in this specification. Furthermore, the work steps of the operator S can also be changed, added to, or deleted without altering the essence of the technology disclosed in this specification. In addition, the technology disclosed in this specification can be implemented with its features individually or in combination with other features.
[0114] In the description of this embodiment, an example using a pair of locking pins 31p as the locking part was given, but the locking part is not limited to a pair of locking pins. In addition, the shape and structure of the locking state operation part (reciprocating operation part 55g and opening / closing guide part 55f) and the locking part 55c are not limited to the shape and structure described in this embodiment.
[0115] Furthermore, the shape of the positioning stop 31a and the structure for its lifting and lowering operation, the shape of the fall prevention stop 31b and the structure for its lifting and lowering operation, etc., are not limited to the shapes and structures described in this embodiment.
[0116] Furthermore, the push-pull mechanism 57d for pushing and pulling the box mold 20 placed on the device track 31n or movable track 55 is not limited to the meshing chain 57a and the mold connection part 57b.
[0117] Alternatively, the trolley-side guide 51b, which serves as a roller, can be installed on the box mold device 2, and the plate-shaped device-side guide 42 can be installed on the mold changing trolley 50.
[0118] This disclosure includes the following methods. A first method is a mold-changing trolley that assists in the handover of a box mold between a box mold mounting device and a mold-changing device. The box mold is replaceable relative to a base mold having a fixed-side mold and a movable-side mold. The mold-changing device removes the box mold from the base mold and installs another box mold onto the base mold. The mold-changing trolley includes a trolley track that connects to a mold mounting platform of the mold-changing device. The trolley track has a trolley-side facing surface opposite to the mold mounting platform. The mold mounting platform is configured to hold the box mold removed from the base mold by the mold-changing device, or the box mold installed onto the base mold by the mold-changing device. The box mold is mounted on a mold platform having a device-side opposing surface opposite to the trolley track and a locking portion disposed on or near the device-side opposing surface; a locking portion disposed on the trolley-side opposing surface and capable of locking with the locking portion; and a locking state operation unit capable of operating in either a locking locked state or a locking unlocked state. In the locking locked state, the locking portion that locks the trolley-side opposing surface to the device-side opposing surface and positions the trolley track relative to the mold platform and locks it to the locking portion remains locked. In the locking unlocked state, the locking locked state is released, allowing the trolley track to separate from the mold platform.
[0119] According to the first method described above, the locking part, which positions the trolley side facing each other in contact with or near the device side facing each other and positions the trolley track relative to the mold mounting platform, is set to a locked state, thereby directly fixing the trolley track positioned relative to the mold mounting platform. This prevents the mold mounting platform from separating from the trolley track of the mold changing trolley. Furthermore, the mold changing trolley can assist in the handover of box molds with the mold mounting platform without the need for lifting with a light crane or similar equipment, assisting operators in changing box molds more safely, easily, and quickly.
[0120] The second method is based on the mold changing trolley of the first method described above, wherein the locking part is a pair of locking pins arranged at a predetermined interval, the locking part having: an opening and closing part that can vary between a closed state narrower than the predetermined interval and an open state wider than the predetermined interval; and an elastic member that applies force in a manner that causes the opening and closing part to be in the open state.
[0121] According to the second method described above, the locking part is realized by a pair of locking pins, and the locking part is realized by having an opening and closing part. Therefore, the locking part and the locking part can be realized with a simple structure.
[0122] The third method, based on the mold changing trolley of the second method described above, includes a locking state operation unit comprising: a reciprocating operation unit capable of reciprocating along the length of the trolley track; and an opening / closing guide unit connected to the reciprocating operation unit. The opening / closing guide unit, based on the reciprocating movement of the reciprocating operation unit, sets the locking state by guiding the opening / closing part of the locking part locked to the locked part toward the open state, and sets the locking state by guiding the opening / closing part of the locking part locked to the locked part toward the closed state.
[0123] According to the third method described above, the locking state operation unit is configured with a reciprocating operation unit and an opening / closing guide unit. This locking state operation unit allows the opening / closing unit to be set to either a closed state or an open state.
[0124] The fourth method is a mold changing trolley according to any one of the first to third methods described above, wherein the mold placement table has a positioning stop that holds the box mold placed on the mold placement table at a predetermined position on the mold placement table, and the mold changing trolley has a positioning stop control unit that moves the positioning stop between a positioning state and a positioning release state when the locking state is reached.
[0125] According to the fourth method described above, the positioning stop, which holds the box mold placed on the mold mounting table at a predetermined position on the mold mounting table, can be moved between a positioning state and a positioning release state by the mold changing trolley while the box mold is in a locked state. When moving the box mold between the mold mounting table and the mold changing trolley, the positioning stop interferes with the box mold in the positioning state. Therefore, it is more convenient if the mold changing trolley can move it between the positioning state and the positioning release state. Thus, the mold changing trolley can assist operators in more easily changing box molds.
[0126] The fifth method is based on the mold changing trolley of the fourth method described above, wherein the mold mounting platform has a drop prevention stop at a position closer to the device side than the positioning stop to prevent the box mold placed on the mold mounting platform from moving towards the device side and falling off the mold mounting platform, and the mold changing trolley has a drop prevention stop release part that, when in the locked state, makes the drop prevention stop in a drop prevention released state.
[0127] According to the fifth method described above, the mold changing trolley can release the fall prevention stop (located closer to the opposite side of the device than the positioning stop) from falling off the mold platform when the box mold placed on the mold platform moves towards the opposite side of the device while in the locked state. When moving the box mold between the mold platform and the mold changing trolley, the fall prevention stop interferes with the box mold in the fall prevention state; therefore, it is more convenient if the mold changing trolley can release the fall prevention. Thus, the mold changing trolley can assist operators in changing box molds more safely and easily.
[0128] The sixth method is based on a mold changing trolley according to any of the first to fifth methods described above, wherein one of the mold changing trolley and the box mold device has a guide member, and the other has a roller that rolls in contact with the guide member. The guide member contacts the roller during the movement of the mold changing trolley toward the box mold device, thereby guiding the mold changing trolley to a connectable position where the trolley-side opposite face contacts or approaches the device-side opposite face.
[0129] According to the sixth method described above, during the movement of the mold changing trolley toward the box mold assembly, the guide member contacts the rollers, thereby guiding the mold changing trolley to a connectable position. This facilitates the positioning of the trolley track relative to the mold mounting platform, making it easier to accurately connect the two.
[0130] The seventh method is based on the mold changing trolley of the sixth method above, wherein the mold placing platform has a device track that can be connected to the trolley track, and the device track is connected to the trolley track after the roller contacts the guide member to guide the mold changing trolley to the connectable position.
[0131] According to the seventh method described above, after the mold changing trolley is guided to a connectable position by contacting the guide member with the rollers, the device track of the mold placement table is connected to the trolley track.
