A glove box for assembling lithium ion batteries and a method of operating the same

Abstract

The application discloses a glove box for assembling lithium ion batteries and an operating method thereof, and relates to the technical field of battery assembly. The glove box comprises an operating box, an elastic assembly and a pressing plate. An encapsulation machine is arranged in the inner cavity of the operating box, and the encapsulation machine is used for encapsulating button lithium ion batteries. The elastic assembly is arranged on the top of the inner wall of the operating box. The pressing plate is fixed to the bottom of the elastic assembly. One end of the pressing plate is provided with an electrolyte discharging assembly, which is used for loading and dropping liquid. The other end of the pressing plate is provided with a suction assembly, which is used for sucking and pressing the battery parts. The elastic assembly, the pressing plate, the electrolyte discharging assembly and the suction assembly are arranged in a matched mode, so that the pressing plate can be controlled to press down. Laser positioning is combined to ensure that the suction assembly is aligned with the electrolyte dropping position, the precision of the laminations and the liquid drops is improved, the centralized operation of multiple steps of battery assembly can be realized in the glove box, and external interference is reduced.
