[0031] The accompanying figures should be understood as not necessarily being to scale and representing a somewhat simplified depiction of various features to illustrate the basic principles of the invention. The specific design features of the present invention disclosed herein, including, for example, specific dimensions, orientations, arrangements, and shapes, are partly determined by the intended applications and the environment of use.
[0032] In the figures, identical reference numerals in the various figures of the drawing consistently refer to the same or equivalent parts of the present invention.
[0033] An exemplary embodiment of a storage device for a vehicle according to the present invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0034] The storage compartment device for a vehicle according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises, as shown in the Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 5, Fig. 6, Fig. 7, Fig. 8, Fig. 9, Fig. 10, Fig. 11, Fig. 12, Fig. 13 to Fig. Figure 14 shows an arrangement using an interior space 22 of a rear bumper 21 corresponding to a space reserve, comprising a rear carrier 30 which is extendable from the rear bumper 21 and slid to one side rearward of the vehicle, and a pair of left and right storage containers 40 which are resting on the rear carrier 30 and are slidable to the right and left when the rear carrier 30 is pulled out from the rear of the vehicle.
[0035] Furthermore, the storage device according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises a rear carrier shifting device 50, which is connected to the rear carrier 30 and is attached to a rear floor cover 23 and a rear side panel 24 in order to shift the rear carrier 30 in the forward and reverse direction, and a storage container shifting device 60, which is connected to the rear carrier shifting device 50 and the pair of storage containers 40 for sliding the pair of storage containers 40 to the left and right.
[0036] The rear carrier shifting device 50 has a pair of guide rails 51, which are attached to the floor of the rear floor cover 23 on the left and right sides of the vehicle, with both ends pointing in the forward and reverse directions of the vehicle. A shifting rod 52 is slidably connected at both ends to the pair of guide rails 51 in the forward and reverse directions of the guide rails 51. One end of each pair of connecting elements 53 is pivotally connected to the shifting rod 52, and the other end is pivotally connected to the respective storage compartment 40 of the pair of left and right storage compartments 40. One end of each pair of mounting brackets 54 is integrally connected in the longitudinal direction of the rear side panels 24 to the end region of an associated rear side panel 24.To cover the mounting support bodies 54, a pair of support body shells 55 is arranged and each is attached to the left or right end of the rear rear carrier 30 with the possibility of movement along the forward and backward direction of the mounting support bodies 54.
[0037] Furthermore, the storage container displacement device 60 comprises a rear or back stopper 61, which projects as an integral component from the side surface of the mounting support body 54 and limits the backward movement of the support body shell 55, and a rear support plate 63, which is mounted resting on the rear support 30 and has the plate groove 62 in which the side surfaces of the pair abut storage boxes 40 and which are formed on both lateral surfaces in order to move the respective associated storage container 40 in the left and right direction and to guide the storage boxes 40 during their backward movement when the displacement rod 52 is moved back.
[0038] A front stopper 56 to prevent the support body shell 55 from moving forward protrudes uniformly from a front end of the mounting support body 54.
[0039] When a respective support body shell 55 coupled to the rear rear carrier 30 moves relative to the mounting support body 54 towards the rear of the vehicle or away from the vehicle, the respective rear stopper 61 limits the rearward movement of the respective support body shell 55, and when a support body shell 55 moves towards the front of the vehicle, the respective front stopper 56 limits the forward movement of the respective associated support body shell 55.
[0040] Furthermore, the pair of first connecting elements 53 has the characteristic design that the distance between the individual (first) connecting elements 53 at the end articulated with each storage container 40 is greater than at the end articulated with each sliding rod 52.
[0041] The ends of the pair on first connecting elements 53 are hingedly coupled in the middle of the sliding rod 52 and the other ends of the connecting elements 53 are connected to the storage container 40 with a larger distance between them.
[0042] Due to this connection structure of the first connecting elements 53, the pair of left and right storage containers 40 slides to the left and right in relation to the vehicle body when the sliding rod 52 moves backwards.
[0043] Furthermore, each storage container 40 of the pair of left and right storage containers 40 comprises a lower channel 41, which is attached to the rear support 30 in the left and right direction of the vehicle body, and a lower plate 42, which is movably arranged on the lower channel 41 in the longitudinal direction of the lower channel 41 and is articulated to the end of a first connecting element 53 associated with a storage container 40, which penetrates the rear support 30 and the lower channel 41, and which has a plate projection 42a that fits into the plate groove 62 and is integrally formed on one side of the lower plate 42.Furthermore, each storage container 40 comprises a lower tray 43, which is attached to the lower plate 42 and has a storage space, and an upper tray 44, which is pivotably connected to the lower tray 43 for opening or closing the lower tray 43, and a tray cover 45, which is integrally connected to the upper tray 44.
[0044] The lower plate 42 serves to reinforce the strength of the lower shell 43. Since the lower plate 42 and the lower shell 43 are connected in a way that allows them to be separated, the lower shell 43 can be easily repaired and cleaned.
[0045] In the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of connecting rods 46 are provided as second connecting elements for pivoting the upper shell 44, and one end of each connecting rod 46 is pivotally coupled to the lower shell 43 and the other end to the upper shell 44 in the same direction.
[0046] The plate projection 42a protrudes from the side of the lower plate 42 in a T-shaped cross-sectional form, and the plate groove 62 has a T-shaped cross-section corresponding to the plate projection 42a.
[0047] The plate groove 62 comprises a primary groove 62a, which extends from the front of the rear support plate 63 to its rear side and allows the plate projection 42a to move forwards and backwards within it, while preventing the plate projection 42a from being removed laterally. The plate groove 62 further comprises a secondary groove 62b, which has a greater vertical width than the primary groove 62a, in order to allow the plate projection 42a to be removed from or taken off the rear support plate 63.
[0048] During the time when, in the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the upper shell 44 and the shell cover 45 are pivoted backwards in order to open the lower shell 43, as is the case in Fig. As shown in Figure 14, the shell cover 45 can be used as a step or bench.
[0049] The unspecified reference numeral 25 refers to a trunk lid or tailgate, and the unspecified reference numeral 26 refers to a rear cover panel.
[0050] The handling and operation of a storage device according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention is described below.
[0051] In the left part of the illustrations of the Fig. 3 and in the Fig. 6 is a storage container 40 in the interior space 22 of the rear bumper 21 corresponding to a space reserve of the vehicle, and the upper shell 44 closes the lower shell 43. In this state, objects can be stored and held in the interior of the lower shell 43.
[0052] In this state, an additional locking device prevents the upper shell 44 and the shell cover 45 from pivoting.
[0053] Furthermore, as in Fig. As shown in 6, the sliding rod 52 holds the in Fig. 3. Position “A” shown by dashed lines occurs when the storage container 40 is stored in the interior 22 of the rear bumper 21. Likewise, in this state, the support shell 55 moves only as far forward as necessary to make contact with the front stopper 56. If, in the Fig. In the state shown in Figure 6, if an external force acts on the rear bumper 21, for example in a rear-end collision, the rear bumper 21 can absorb impacts by compressing the storage container 40 of the exemplary embodiment of the present invention through the external force, so that the storage container 40 has an impact or shock-absorbing function for passenger protection.
[0054] On the right side of the Fig. 3 and in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5. The rear carrier 30 and the storage container 40 are extended, for which purpose the rear bumper 21 slides away from the rear of the vehicle and the sliding rod 52 moves to the rear or back side of the guide rail 51 to engage the Fig. 3 to assume the state or position designated “B”, wherein the support body shell 55 moves to the rear to make and maintain contact with the rear stopper 61.
[0055] When the locking device is released and the storage container 40, located in the interior 22 of the rear bumper 21, is then pulled towards the rear of the vehicle, the part at position “A” of the Fig. 3 positioned sliding rod 52 towards the rear on the guide rail 51 into position “B” of the Fig. 3 and at the same time the support body shell 55, which is in contact with the front stopper 56, moves to the rear in order to come into contact with the rear stopper 61.
[0056] When the displacement rod 52 moves to the rear, the first connecting element 53 at that time transmits a force to the storage container 40 and moves it to the rear, and when the storage container moves to the rear, the connecting element 53 penetrates the rear support 30 and the lower channel 41, so that the rear support 30 moves to the rear due to the rearward movement of the first connecting element 53 and the support body shell 35 coupled to the rear support 30 moves to the rear due to the rearward movement of the rear support 30 in order to make contact with the rear stopper 61.
[0057] As described above, the sliding rod 52 moves towards the rear from a point “A” to a point “B” of the Fig. 3, and at the same time, when the support body shell 55 moves to the rear to make contact with the rear stopper 61, both the rear carrier 30 and the storage container 40 stored in the interior 22 of the rear bumper 21 move to the rear into a position pulled out of the rear bumper 21.
[0058] However, if the rear carrier is 30 and the storage container is 40 as in the Fig. 6 shown in the interior 22 of the rear bumper 21, the plate projection 42a formed on the lower plate 42 engages in the primary groove 62a of the plate groove 62 formed in the rear support plate 63, as shown in Fig. 10 is shown. In this state, since the plate projection 42a cannot be removed from the primary groove 62a, the lower plate 42 cannot move laterally or to the side of the rear support plate 63, so that the pair of left and right storage containers 40 cannot move to the left and right sides of the vehicle to extend.
[0059] Furthermore, when both the rear rear carrier 30 and the storage container 40 stored in the interior 22 of the rear bumper 21 are pulled out of the rear bumper 21 towards the rear, the plate projection 42a formed on the lower plate 42 moves in the primary groove 62a towards the rear and enters the secondary groove 62b of the plate groove 62, as shown in Fig. 11 is shown. In this case, as soon as the plate projection 42a is gently released from the secondary groove 62b, the lower plate 42 is in a ready state to slide along the side of the rear support plate 63, so that the pair of left and right storage containers 40 are simultaneously in a ready position to move to the right and left sides of the vehicle.
[0060] As shown in the right-hand illustration of the Fig. As shown in Figure 3, when the sliding rod 52 moves continuously further to the rear by pulling the rear support 30 further outwards, the connecting element 53 transmits the sliding force of the sliding rod 52 to the storage container 40 in order to move the storage container 40 and the rear support 30 backwards. In this case, however, the storage container 40 or the storage containers 40 and the rear support 30 cannot move further backwards because the support body shell 55 is locked by the rear stopper 61.
[0061] However, the pair at the first connecting elements 53 is extended further in the left and right directions by the rearward displacement force of the sliding rod 52, so that the pair of left and right storage containers 40 coupled to a first connecting element 53 is extended in a sliding manner in the left and right directions of the vehicle, as shown in the Fig. 12 and Fig. 13 is shown.
[0062] As from Fig. As can be seen from Figure 5, a pair of slots 31 cut in the left and right directions are formed on the left and right sides of the rear support 30, and a slot 41a of the same dimensions is formed in each lower channel 41 of the pair of lower channels 41 and is connected to an associated slot 31, as shown from Fig. As can be seen in Figure 7. A first connecting element 53 is pivotally coupled to the lower plate 42, forming slots 31 and 41a that penetrate the storage container 40. Therefore, when the pair of first connecting elements 53 is pulled apart by the continuous rearward movement of the sliding rod 52, while simultaneously the support body shells 55 are locked on the rear stoppers 61, the ends of the first connecting elements 53 move in the slots 31 and 41a to the sides of the vehicle. This causes the storage containers 40 of the pair on the left and right storage containers 40, which are connected to the first connecting elements 53, to also slide in the left and right directions of the vehicle, such that the pair of left and right storage containers 40 is extended in the left and right directions of the vehicle, as shown in the figures. Fig. 12 and Fig. 13 is shown.
[0063] If only the storage container 40 slides in the left and right direction while the rear support 30 and the storage container 40 are pulled out to the rear, the plate projection 42a formed on the lower plate 42 detaches by exiting and removing from the secondary groove 62b.
[0064] Furthermore, items stored in the lower tray 43 can be removed from a storage container 40 extended in the left or right direction and used, or new items can be placed in the lower tray 43, if the lower tray 43 is opened to the rear by pivoting the tray cover 45 and the upper tray 44, as shown in Fig. 14 is shown.
[0065] Furthermore, by opening the opposing side surfaces of the storage containers 40 of the pair of storage containers 40 which are extended to the left and right, a long object, such as an umbrella or a golf club, can be easily and conveniently inserted and stored using the pair of extended storage containers 40.
[0066] Furthermore, in the exemplary embodiment, the shell cover 45 can be used as a step or bench, or an object can be placed on the shell cover 45 when the lower shell 43 is pivoted backwards by swiveling the shell cover 45, as shown in Fig. 14 is shown, it is open.
[0067] As described above, in the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the storage device is designed, arranged and mounted using the interior space 22 of the rear bumper 21 in accordance with the space reserve of the vehicle in order to maximize the space utilization of the vehicle and thereby improve the usability of the vehicle.
[0068] Furthermore, in the storage device according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the pair of left and right storage containers 40, which are pulled out from the rear of the vehicle, can be extended in the left and right direction of the vehicle, and long objects can then be conveniently inserted or stored using the pair of extended storage containers, so that as a result the use and usability of the storage containers 40 is maximized and extended.
[0069] Furthermore, according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the tray cover 45 can be used as a step or bench, or objects can be placed on the open tray cover 45 at the time the storage container 40 is opened.
[0070] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a storage device is mounted using an interior space of a rear bumper corresponding to a space reserve of the vehicle in such a way that the space utilization of the vehicle can be maximized and that, in particular, an object having a large length can be inserted and stored by horizontally extending a pull-out storage container and that, furthermore, when the storage container is open, a tray cover can be used as a step or as a bench or an object can be placed on the open tray cover, thereby significantly improving the usability of the vehicle.
[0071] To simplify the description and for a precise definition in the attached claims, the terms "upper", "lower", "inner" and "outer" are used to describe features of the exemplary embodiment in relation to the positions of these features shown in the figures.
