Arrangement for selectively detecting the angular position of a shaft of a first electric motor or a second electric motor and electric motor

The double joint and pivot/rotary bearing system in the sensor arrangement for electric motors addresses inefficiencies in angular position detection by damping vibrations and ensuring stable torque transmission, enabling precise angle measurement under load.

Abstract

Arrangement for selectively detecting the angular position of a shaft of a first electric motor or a second electric motor, wherein the arrangement comprises a housing (1) of a sensor, a double joint and a housing part, namely a fan hood, of the electric motor, wherein the housing (1) is connected to the housing part by means of the double joint, wherein the double joint is formed from a connecting part (12), an intermediate ring (7) and an adapter part (16), wherein the intermediate ring (7) is rotatably mounted about one or the first axis of rotation in the connecting part (12) and rotatably mounted about one or the second axis of rotation in the adapter part, characterized by the fact that the connecting part (12) has tab sections (9) on which a first and a second connecting means are arranged, where the fan housing of the first electric motor is made of metal and the fan housing of the second electric motor is made of plastic, - wherein the first of the connecting means has at least a spreading section (11) for connection with the fan housing of the first electric motor, which projects into a grid opening of the fan housing grid of the fan housing of the first electric motor, wherein the connecting part (12) is force-fitted to the fan housing by means of the connecting means, - wherein the second of the connecting means for connection to the fan hood of the second electric motor is designed as a recess (10) in the connecting part (12), wherein a screw is guided through the recess (10) and thus the connecting part is screwed to the fan hood.
