Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to an ejection device for a movable furniture part, in particular a drawer, with a first ejection unit having a first ejector element pre-tensioned by a first energy accumulator, which can be locked in a tensioned position of the first energy accumulator and, upon unlocking, ejects the movable furniture part in the opening direction, and a second ejection unit having a second ejector element pre-tensioned by a second energy accumulator, which can be locked in a tensioned position of the second energy accumulator and, upon unlocking, ejects the movable furniture part in the opening direction, wherein the first ejection unit is synchronized with the second ejection unit with regard to the unlocking via a coupling means, wherein the coupling means comprises at least one pivotably mounted pendulum, and a piece of furniture with at least one drawer.
[0002] EP 1 314 842 A1 discloses a device for opening and closing a movable furniture part. Two trigger and drive units are provided, which are coupled to one another via a linkage. When one trigger and drive unit is unlocked, the second trigger and drive unit is also unlocked and a movable furniture part is moved in the opening direction. Two pivot levers are provided for synchronizing the movement, which are connected to one another via a linkage, so that the space required for the synchronization means is considerable. Furthermore, a large number of components are provided, which makes production and assembly complex.
[0003] DE 10 2011 001 983 A1 discloses an ejection device in which a pivotably mounted lever is preloaded in the ejection direction by a spring and can be locked in place by a locking mechanism when the spring is tensioned. The ejection device can be coupled to another ejection device via a connecting rod, with the connecting rod being located near the rotational axis of the two levers. While this allows for synchronization of the unlocking process, it requires considerable space in the rear area of the drawer.
[0004] For a more compact design, an ejection device according to DE 10 2012 112 675 A1 can be mounted on the rear panel of a drawer with two pivoting ejector levers that can be locked via a locking mechanism. The unlocking process is synchronized via two rods and a gear. The ejection device requires a relatively stable rear panel on a drawer and is therefore not suitable for all types of drawers.
[0005] EP 1 785 063 A1 discloses a device for opening and closing a movable furniture part, in which two locking elements of a locking unit are positively coupled to one another via a torsion bar.
[0006] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an ejection device for a movable furniture part which is compact in design and enables simple synchronization of two ejection units.
[0007] This object is achieved by an ejection device having the features of claim 1.
[0008] According to the invention, the two ejection units are synchronized with respect to unlocking via a coupling means comprising at least one pivotably mounted pendulum. This allows the movement of the pendulum to be used to unlock the other ejection unit when one ejection unit is unlocked. The pendulum allows the connection means between the two ejection units to be optimally positioned, in particular underneath the bottom of a drawer. This eliminates the need to arrange the drawer with its rear wall at a greater distance from the rear wall of a furniture body.
[0009] Each ejection unit preferably comprises a pivotably mounted pendulum. The two pendulums can be connected to one another via a connecting rod, wherein the connecting rod is preferably connected to the pendulums at a distance from a rotation axis of the two pendulums. The rotation axis of the two pendulums can be arranged vertically above the connecting rod so that the pendulums protrude downwards. This enables the pendulums to be installed on a housing that is mounted in the area of a drawer guide. The pendulums protrude far enough downwards that the connecting rod can be positioned below a base of the drawer. In addition, gravity can then assist the unlocking process because the weight forces on the pendulums act in the unlocking direction.
[0010] A pendulum comprises a pendulum arm mounted so that it can pivot around a rotational axis. The coupling of the two pendulum arms via a connecting rod enables a sensitive system that requires short switching travel and only needs to transmit small forces, as the length of the pendulum arm ensures appropriate force transmission.
[0011] The connected pendulums preferably have a horizontal axis of rotation. The connecting rod of the pendulums moves approximately parallel to the imaginary axis of rotation of the connected pendulums. Due to manufacturing tolerances or other design conditions, the imaginary axis of rotation between the connected pendulums may deviate from the horizontal.
[0012] In one embodiment, each ejection unit can be unlocked by pushing the movable furniture part from the closed position into a push-over position. The movable furniture part can be designed as a drawer, but it can also be used with doors, flaps, sliding doors, or other movable furniture parts. Unlocking by pushing the movable furniture part can be achieved using a "push-to-open" locking mechanism.
[0013] Preferably, each ejection unit has a housing on which a pendulum is rotatably mounted. Each pendulum can be latched to a bearing mount on the housing, allowing for easy installation. An actuating arm can be moved via the pendulum, which is pivoted together with the pendulum for unlocking.
[0014] The pendulum is preferably connected to a slider guided on a housing, by means of which a locking mechanism of the ejection unit can be unlocked. Instead of the slider, a pivoting arm or another actuating element, such as a gear arrangement, can also be used for the unlocking.
[0015] A loop-shaped guide track for a control element can preferably be formed on a housing of the ejection unit, which control element can be locked to a locking receptacle of the guide track when the energy accumulator is tensioned. The locking receptacle can be designed in several parts, with a first part which is formed integrally with the housing, for example, and a second part which is movable relative to the first part and which has an actuating element, in particular a slide, for unlocking which can be moved via the pendulum. The actuating element can be locked in an open position of the locking receptacle. As a result, the locking receptacle has a closed position for locking the control element and an open position in which the control element can be moved between the two parts of the locking receptacle. The movable part of the locking receptacle can be pretensioned into the closed position by a spring.
[0016] In a further embodiment, an ejector element is guided along a guide on each housing of an ejection unit, which is preloaded in the opening direction by an energy accumulator. The guide can be aligned substantially perpendicular to the pendulum's axis of rotation and, for example, run parallel to a longitudinal direction of an adjacent drawer guide. This allows the installation space adjacent to the drawer guide to be used to accommodate the housing of the ejection unit.
[0017] The pendulum connecting the two ejection units can preferably be pivoted by an angle of less than 90°, preferably less than 60°. A movement of the pendulum between 5° and 30° may be sufficient to synchronize the two ejection units during unlocking.
[0018] The ejection device according to the invention is preferably used in furniture with at least one drawer. However, it is also advantageous for use in household appliances with drawers.
[0019] The invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show: Fig. 1A and Fig. 1B two perspective views of a movable piece of furniture with an ejection device according to the invention; Fig. 2A and Fig. 2B two views of the furniture of the Fig. 1 on average; Fig. 3 is a perspective view of an ejection unit of the ejection device; Fig. 4A to 4C several views of the ejection unit of the Fig. 3; Fig. 5A to 5C several views of a pendulum of the ejection unit of the Fig. 3; Fig. 6A and Fig. 6B two views of the locking mechanism of the ejection unit of the Fig. 3 in a closed position; Fig. 7A and Fig. 7B two views of the locking mechanism of the ejection unit of the Fig. 3 when unlocking; Fig. 8A to 8C several views of the locking mechanism of the ejection unit of the Fig. 3 when opening; Fig. 9A and Fig. 9B two views of the locking mechanism of the ejection unit of the Fig. 3 when unlocking a part of the locking mechanism; Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B two detailed views when locking the locking receptacle in the closed position, and Fig. 11 a view of the housing in the area of the guide track of the locking mechanism.
[0020] In the Fig. 1A and Fig. 1B shows a drawer 1 that can be mounted on a piece of furniture or a household appliance and has a front panel 2 connected to two side frames 3. A pull-out guide 4 is provided on each side frame 3, with each pull-out guide 4 being mounted to a surrounding cabinet via a fastening element 5. The movable part of the pull-out guide is connected to brackets 6 that support a base 50 of the drawer.
[0021] In order to move the drawer 1 from a closed position in the opening direction, a first ejection unit 7 and a second ejection unit 7' are provided, each arranged on a pull-out guide 4 on opposite sides of the drawer 1. It is also possible for the ejection unit 7, 7' to be arranged in the drawer frame. A wide variety of arrangement combinations of ejection units are known in the art. Each ejection unit 7 comprises a housing 8 on which a guide track 9 is arranged essentially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the pull-out guide 4. An ejector element 10 is guided on the guide track 9 and can be coupled over at least part of the travel path of the drawer 1 in the opening and closing directions in order to eject the drawer 1 when opening and to tension a force accumulator of the ejection unit 7 or 7' when closing. The direction of movement of the ejector element 10 is essentially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the pull-out guide 4 up to an angled end section at which the coupling between the drawer 1 and the ejector element 10 is decoupled.
[0022] The first ejection unit 7 is synchronized with the second ejection unit 7' via coupling means so that unlocking of the two ejection units 7 and 7' occurs as simultaneously as possible. The coupling means comprise a connecting rod 40 which is arranged between two pendulums 14 of the ejection units 7 and 7'. The connecting rod 40 is positioned below the base 50 of the drawer so that a rear wall of the drawer 1 can be arranged adjacent to a rear wall of a furniture body or a household appliance. The arrangement of the connecting rod 40 depends on the application. If the drawer is designed, for example, as a hanging file drawer or waste bin drawer, the connecting rod can be laid out in the area below the rear wall using the pendulums. If the drawer has a recess for a siphon, the connecting rod 40 can be laid out further forward below the drawer base using the pendulums. In special applications, it may also be possible for the connecting rod 40 to run above the frame by means of the pendulum.
[0023] The two ejection units 7 and 7' can be designed mirror-symmetrically to a center plane, whereby only the ejection unit 7 is described below, since the ejection unit 7' has the same functionality as the ejection unit 7.
[0024] The ejection unit 7 is in Fig. 3. The ejector element 10 is displaceable as a driver along the guide track 9 on the housing 8. On the housing 8 there is a cartridge 12 with an energy accumulator, by means of which the ejector element 10 is pretensioned in the opening direction. The ejector element 10 can be locked via a latching mechanism with a tensioned energy accumulator, wherein for unlocking the movable furniture part can be pressed in the closing direction, whereby a slide 13 is moved which is coupled to a pendulum 14 of the ejection unit 7. As a result, a pivoting movement of the pendulum 14 of the ejection unit 7 via the connecting rod 40, which is held on opposite sides by pins 15, can also unlock the ejection unit 7', even if the front panel 2 of the drawer is pressed in on only one side, for example.
[0025] As in the Fig. As shown in Figures 4A to 4C, the pendulum 14 is located on a bearing mount 19 on the housing 8 and is locked there. A pin 15 for securing the connecting rod 40 is arranged at a distance from a pivot axis 16, for example, at a distance of between 0.5 cm and 2 cm, so that only a slight pivoting of the pendulum 14 is required for unlocking. Depending on the use of the drawer, the connecting rod 40 can also be spaced at a greater distance from the pivot axis 16.
[0026] As in Fig. 4B and in the Fig. As shown in Figures 5A to 5C, the pendulum 14 can be rotated about a rotational axis 16, which is held on the bearing receptacle 19. An actuating arm 17 is rotationally fixedly coupled to the pendulum 14 and engages in a receptacle 18 that is connected to a slide 13. The slide 13 is preloaded in the opening direction by a spring 32. For this purpose, the spring 32 is supported on one side on a web 34 of the housing 8 and on the opposite side on a web 33 that is connected to the slide 13. By pivoting the pendulum 14 and the actuating arm 17 in Fig. 4B counterclockwise, the slide 13 is moved in the closing direction against the force of the spring 32.
[0027] The pendulum 14 can be formed integrally with the actuating arm 17 and a bearing that can be locked to the bearing holder 19.
[0028] In Fig. 4B also shows the support of a force accumulator 30 in the form of a compression spring, which is fixed to a holder 31 on the housing 8 and prestresses the ejector element 10 in the opening direction.
[0029] In the Fig. 6A and Fig. 6B shows a locking mechanism on the housing 8, by means of which the ejector element 10 is locked when the energy storage device 30 is tensioned. The locking mechanism comprises a guide track 20 formed on the housing 8, which is loop-shaped and includes a first part 22 of a locking receptacle. A control element 21, in particular an angled wire, is guided along the guide track 20 and is coupled to the ejector element 10. In the Fig. 6A and Fig. 6B, the control element 21 is in a locked position, in which a second part 23 of the locking receptacle is closed together with the first part 22 of the locking receptacle. The second part 23 of the locking receptacle is integrally formed on the slide 13, so that the locking receptacle is formed in several parts.
[0030] If the user wishes to open the movable furniture part from the closed position, the drawer is pushed in the closing direction and moved into an overpressure position. This also moves the ejector element 10 in the closing direction and, via the control element 21, also moves the second part 23 of the locking receptacle, as shown in the Fig. 7A and Fig. 7B. As the slide 13 moves against the force of the spring 32, the actuating arm 17 on the receptacle 18 is also moved, and the pendulum 14 pivots in the closing direction. This also pivots the connecting rod 40, which ensures that the ejection unit 7' is also unlocked if no unlocking movement was performed there at the same time. This ensures that both ejection units 7 and 7' are unlocked in every case.
[0031] In the Fig. 8A to 8C show that a gap is formed between the first part 22 and the second part 23 of the locking receptacle, through which the control element 21 can escape in the opening direction. This allows the ejector element 10 to be moved in the opening direction by the force of the energy accumulator 30 in order to eject the movable furniture part. The second part 23 of the locking receptacle is locked in an open position, with an arm 24 being locked to a projection 25 of the housing 8, in which a tip 28 rests on the projection 25. As a result, the second part 23 of the locking receptacle remains in a position that allows the control element 21 to pass through.
[0032] If the movable furniture part is moved further in the opening direction, the second part 23 of the locking receptacle is unlocked, as shown in Fig. 9A. An angled end section 26 of the control element 21 acts on a bevel 27 on the arm 24, which is thereby pivoted. This causes the arm 24 to pivot so far that the tip 28 is removed from the projection 25, so that the arm 24 is now moved together with the slide 13 due to the force of the spring 32. The arm 24 is now supported with the tip 28 on a support 29, as shown in Fig. 10B. The support 29 is arranged at a distance from the projection 25, wherein the adjustment path of the arm 24 and the second part 23 of the locking receptacle is in the range between 1 mm and 3 mm, so that only short travel distances are present. When the tip 28 is supported on the support 29, the locking receptacle is again in the closed position, as shown in the Fig. 6A and Fig. 6B is shown.
[0033] In Fig.11, the housing 8 is shown without a control element in the area of the guide track 20. A loop-shaped guide track with the first part 22 of the locking receptacle is arranged integrally with the housing 8, with the channel 35 arranged on the right side being traversed in the opening direction, and the channel arranged on the left side being traversed in the closing direction.
[0034] In the illustrated embodiment, the force transmission during unlocking is effected via a linearly movable slide 13. It is also possible to provide a pivotable lever or other actuating element instead of a linearly movable slide 13 in order to transmit the unlocking of the locking mechanism to the pendulum 14. Other locking mechanisms can also be used for an ejection unit 7 or 7'.
