Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a holding device for holding at least one object partially inserted into a bearing receptacle on a passenger compartment component of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one frame which can be arranged on the passenger compartment component and has a through-opening through which the object can be inserted into the bearing receptacle or removed from it, at least two holding elements arranged on the frame circumferentially offset from one another with respect to the through-opening, which are each pivotably arranged on the frame between a closed position in which the holding elements extend in an opening plane of the through-opening and at least partially close the through-opening, and a holding position in which the respective holding element is arranged on the frame pivoted out of its closed position and away from the bearing receptacle, and at least one actuating unit for pivoting the holding elements.
[0002] Furthermore, the invention relates to a motor vehicle having at least one passenger interior component arranged in a passenger compartment, on which at least one bearing receptacle is formed, and at least one holding device arranged on the passenger interior component for holding at least one object partially inserted into the bearing receptacle.
[0003] Motor vehicles have various storage options in their passenger compartments for temporarily storing items. For example, there may be lockable or non-lockable storage compartments on a dashboard or center console. A center console, for example, may have a storage receptacle designed to hold a beverage container.
[0004] A disadvantage of conventional storage options is that objects stored in them, such as a smartphone, keys, sunglasses or the like, can slip within the storage option while the vehicle is moving, causing annoying noises and damage to the object and / or the storage option.
[0005] To reduce disturbing noise, US Patent No. 4,792,184 A1 proposes a holder for receiving and removing objects, comprising a frame element with an opening through which the objects of a predetermined cross-sectional shape can be at least partially inserted in an insertion direction, and an adjustment element adjustably arranged on the frame element. At least one holding element is arranged on the frame element by means of a pivoting device such that its region located inside the opening can be pivoted between an initial position and a holding position in or against the insertion direction.
[0006] DE 10 2006 009 752 A1 relates to a holder for receiving and removing objects, comprising a frame element with an opening through which the objects of a predetermined cross-sectional shape can be at least partially inserted in an insertion direction, and comprising an adjusting element that is rotatably arranged on the frame element. At least one holding element is arranged on the frame element by means of a pivoting device such that its region located inside the opening can be pivoted between an initial position and a holding position in or against the insertion direction. The pivoting device has a pivoting lever, which is fastened by a first section to the respective holding element, and a bearing device on which the pivoting lever is pivotally mounted and which is connected in a movement-resistant manner either to the adjusting element or to the frame element.A guideway, with which a second section of the pivot lever interacts in a form-fitting manner, is connected in a movement-resistant manner to the frame element or to the adjustment element, depending on the arrangement of the bearing device.
[0007] The guide track has a course which, when the adjusting element moves, detects both the movement component of the adjusting element and a movement component of the second section of the pivot lever when the pivot lever pivots, so that the movement of the adjusting element is coupled to the movement of the pivot lever in order to pivot the at least one holding element when the adjusting element moves.
[0008] An object of the invention is to provide a possibility for securely holding differently shaped objects on a single bearing receptacle on a passenger compartment component of a motor vehicle.
[0009] This object is achieved by the independent patent claims. Advantageous embodiments are recited in the dependent patent claims, the following description, and the figures, wherein these embodiments, each taken individually or in combination of at least two of these embodiments, may represent a further developing, advantageous, or preferred aspect of the invention.
[0010] A holding device according to the invention for holding at least one object partially inserted into a bearing receptacle on a passenger compartment component of a motor vehicle has at least one frame which can be arranged on the passenger compartment component and has a through-opening through which the object can be inserted or removed into the bearing receptacle.this can be removed, at least two holding elements arranged on the frame circumferentially offset from one another with respect to the through-opening, which are each arranged pivotably on the frame between a closed position in which the holding elements extend in an opening plane of the through-opening and at least partially close the through-opening, and a holding position in which the respective holding element is arranged on the frame pivoted out of its closed position and away from the bearing receptacle, and at least one actuating unit for pivoting the holding elements, wherein the actuating unit is designed such that the holding elements can be pivoted individually and independently of one another with it.
[0011] Due to the individual pivotability of the individual holding elements according to the invention, the holding device can be adapted in a simple and reversible manner to the shape and dimensions of the respective object to be stored on the storage receptacle in order to be able to hold the respective object securely on the storage receptacle. The variable design of the holding device according to the invention can be achieved via manual actuation of the actuating unit. In this case, only a single holding element can be pivoted out of its closed position, while at least one other holding element remains in its closed position. Depending on the number of holding elements present, two or more holding elements can also be pivoted together out of the respective closed position, while two or more holding elements remain in their closed positions.
[0012] Preferably, the holding device according to the invention or its actuating unit is additionally designed such that, if required, all holding elements can alternatively be pivoted together by means of the actuating unit. For example, if all holding elements have been pivoted together into maximum holding positions, in which they are aligned perpendicular to their closed positions, for example, the holding device can be used to hold a beverage container, for example a bottle, a cup, or the like. However, if all holding elements have been pivoted together into intermediate holding positions between the maximum holding positions and the closed positions, the holding device can be used to hold a smaller object, such as a mobile phone, a parking ticket, or the like. If, for example, only a single holding element has been pivoted into a maximum holding position or an intermediate holding position, while the other holding elements remain in their closed positions, the holding device can be used to hold a small object and, in particular, can serve as a holder for a mobile phone which is connected to a charging socket on the bearing holder by means of a charging cable in order to charge the mobile phone or its electrical energy storage device.
[0013] The frame of the holding device can be designed as a separate component that is connected to the passenger compartment component. Alternatively, the frame can form an integral section of the passenger compartment component. The frame can be made partially or completely from a plastic. In particular, the frame can be designed as an injection-molded component. The frame can have a rectangular, in particular square, outer contour. The through-opening can be circular or polygonal. The through-opening can be adapted to an opening width of the bearing receptacle, in particular be arranged congruently or concentrically to the opening of the bearing receptacle. The through-opening can be formed centrally on the frame.
[0014] The holding elements are arranged on the frame circumferentially offset from one another, in particular with respect to an axis running centrally through the through-opening and oriented perpendicular to the opening plane of the through-opening. When the holding elements are in their closed positions, the holding elements are aligned parallel to one another. As a result, each holding element blocks or closes a part of the through-opening. The holding position of the respective holding element can be a maximum holding position in which the holding element is oriented perpendicular to its closed position. A further holding position can be an intermediate holding position of the respective holding element in which the holding element is located between its closed position and the maximum holding position. At least one holding element can be made partially or completely from a plastic. In particular, at least one retaining element can be made at least partially of an elastomer, thus imparting flexibility to the retaining element. The retaining elements can be identical or at least paired differently. At least one retaining element can be designed as a polygonal, in particular triangular, plate.
[0015] The actuating unit is used to pivot the individual retaining elements individually or independently. The actuating unit can pivot either a single retaining element or some of the retaining elements while the remaining retaining elements remain in their closed positions, or all retaining elements can be pivoted together. For this purpose, the actuating unit is connected to each retaining element and can also be supported on the frame.
[0016] According to an advantageous embodiment, the actuating unit has at least one electric drive, which is at least indirectly connected to at least one holding element, and at least one operating unit for temporarily activating the electric drive. The electric drive can be selectively coupled to the respective number of holding elements via a mechanism of the actuating unit in order to pivot a corresponding number of holding elements. Alternatively, the actuating unit can have a separate electric drive for each holding element, wherein the electric motors can be selectively temporarily activated via manual operation of the operating unit. The electric drive can be connected to an on-board electrical system in order to be able to supply the electric motor with electrical energy. The operating unit can have buttons, toggle switches, rotary switches or the like in order to control the electric motor orto be able to control the electric motors in such a way that the desired number of holding elements are pivoted.
[0017] A further advantageous embodiment provides for the actuating unit to be designed exclusively mechanically. In this alternative embodiment, the holding device does not require an electrical power supply. The actuating unit can have a manually operable control unit, which can be selectively connected to the respective holding elements via a mechanism of the actuating unit.
[0018] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the actuating unit has at least one manually operable rotating ring rotatably mounted on the frame. The rotating ring can, for example, be arranged on an upper side of the frame facing away from the bearing mount and can be mounted on the frame so that it can rotate about its central axis. The inner diameter of the rotating ring is preferably larger than the diameter of the through-opening in the frame. By rotating the rotating ring about its central axis, the mechanism of the actuating unit can be actuated to selectively pivot the retaining elements.
[0019] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the actuating unit is configured to lock the respective holding element in the holding position. This allows the respective holding element to be held in an intermediate holding position in order to securely hold smaller objects, such as a mobile phone, a parking ticket, or the like. The actuating unit can be configured to selectively lock the respective holding element in at least two different holding positions.
[0020] A further advantageous embodiment provides that the through-opening is polygonal, the number of holding elements corresponds to the number of sides of the through-opening, the holding elements are arranged on the frame circumferentially offset from one another with respect to the through-opening, one side of each holding element runs parallel to the respective side of the through-opening, a bearing unit protruding into the through-opening is arranged at each corner of the through-opening, and each holding element is pivotally mounted on two bearing units. As a result, the closure of the through-opening of the frame formed by the holding elements has a multi-element design and can thus be adapted very variably to the shape and dimensions of the respective object to be held.A surface of the respective bearing unit can be designed to increase friction in order to be able to additionally and securely support an object in the form of a bottle, a cup, or the like, partially inserted into the bearing receptacle and coming into contact with the bearing units laterally with the bearing units when the holding elements are in their maximum holding positions. The through-opening can be designed, for example, as a hexagonal or octagonal, in particular a regular, polygon. The holding elements can be arranged on the frame with equal circumferential offset from one another with respect to the through-opening. The holding elements can each be designed, for example, as a triangular object, in particular as an equilateral triangle.
[0021] A motor vehicle according to the invention has at least one passenger compartment component arranged in a passenger compartment, on which at least one bearing receptacle is formed, and at least one holding device arranged on the passenger compartment component for holding at least one object partially inserted into the bearing receptacle, wherein the holding device is designed according to one of the above-mentioned embodiments or a combination of at least two of these embodiments with one another.
[0022] The advantages mentioned above with regard to the holding device are associated with the motor vehicle. The storage mount can be designed, in particular, as a beverage holder.
[0023] According to an advantageous embodiment, the passenger compartment component is a center console. The storage receptacle can, for example, be a beverage receptacle formed on a section of the center console located at the front in front of or between the front seats.
[0024] Further details, features, and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description and the figures. They show: Fig. 1 a schematic plan view of an embodiment of a holding device according to the invention in a closed state; Fig. 2 a schematic and perspective representation of the Fig. 1 shown holding device; Fig. 3 a schematic and perspective representation of the Fig. 1 shown holding device in a holding state; Fig. 4 a schematic and perspective representation of the Fig. 1 shown holding device in a further holding state; and Fig. 5 a schematic and perspective representation of the Fig. 1 shown holding device in a further holding state.
[0025] Fig. 1 shows a schematic plan view of an exemplary embodiment of a holding device 1 according to the invention for holding at least one object (not shown) partially inserted into a bearing receptacle (not shown) on a passenger compartment component (not shown) of a motor vehicle (not shown). The holding device 1 is in a closed state.
[0026] The holding device 1 comprises a frame 2 that can be arranged on the passenger compartment component, with a square outer contour 3 and a through-opening 4 through which the object can be inserted into or removed from the storage receptacle. The through-opening 4 is shaped like a regular hexagon.
[0027] Furthermore, the holding device 1 has six holding elements 5 arranged on the frame 2, evenly offset from one another around the circumference with respect to the through-opening 4, each of which is designed as an equilateral triangle. One side 6 of the respective holding element 5 runs parallel to the respective side 7 of the through-opening 4, which is designed as a hexagon. At each corner of the through-opening 4, which is designed as a hexagon, a bearing unit 8 is arranged, which projects into the through-opening 4. Each holding element 5 is pivotally mounted on two bearing units 8. As a result, the holding elements 5 are each pivotable between a Fig. 1, in which the holding elements 5 extend in an opening plane of the through-opening 4 lying in the plane of the sheet and essentially close the through-opening 4, and a Fig. 3, Fig. 4 or 5, in which the respective holding element 5 is pivoted out of its closed position and away from the bearing receptacle, pivotably arranged on the frame 2.
[0028] Furthermore, the holding device 1 has an actuating unit 9 for pivoting the holding elements 5. The actuating unit 9 is designed such that the holding elements 5 can be pivoted individually and independently of one another. The actuating unit 9 is configured to lock the respective holding element 5 in at least one holding position. The actuating unit 5 is designed exclusively mechanically and has a manually operable rotating ring 10 rotatably arranged on the frame 2. The rotating ring 10 is arranged circumferentially and concentrically to the through-opening 4 on the frame 2 and is larger than the through-opening 4.
[0029] Alternatively, the actuating unit 9 can have at least one electric drive (not shown) which is at least indirectly connected to at least one holding element 5, and at least one operating unit (not shown) for temporarily activating the electric drive.
[0030] Fig. 2 shows a schematic and perspective view of the Fig. 1. It can be seen that the rotating ring 10 protrudes a certain amount on an upper side 11 of the frame 2, facing away from the bearing mount (not shown), in order to be manually operable. Furthermore, it can be seen that the frame 2 has rounded edges 12 and 13 to improve the feel of the frame 2.
[0031] Fig. 3 shows a schematic and perspective view of the Fig. 1 shown holding device 1 in a holding state. This holding state is therefore derived from the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 shows that the holding elements 5 have been pivoted together by the actuating unit 9 into maximum holding positions, in which the holding elements 5 are aligned perpendicular to their closed positions. In this holding state, the holding device 1 can be used, for example, to hold a bottle (not shown) or a cup (not shown). Furthermore, it can be seen that each holding element 5 is pivotally mounted on two bearing units 8 via an axis 14.
[0032] Fig. 4 shows a schematic and perspective view of the Fig. 1 shown holding device 1 in a further holding state. This holding state is thereby derived from the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 shows that the holding elements 5 have been pivoted together by means of the actuating unit 9 into intermediate holding positions, in which the holding elements 5 only partially expose the through opening 4. In this holding state, the holding device 1 can be used, for example, to hold a mobile phone (not shown) or a parking ticket (not shown).
[0033] Fig. 5 shows a schematic and perspective view of the Fig. 1 shown holding device 1 in a further holding state. This holding state is thereby derived from the Fig. 1 and Fig.2 shows that a single holding element 5 has been pivoted by the actuating unit 9 into the maximum holding position, in which the holding element 5 is oriented perpendicular to its closed position. In this holding state, the holding device 1 can be used, for example, to hold a mobile phone (not shown) that is connected via a charging cable (not shown) to a charging socket (not shown) of the bearing receptacle (not shown).
