Description

[0001] The invention relates to a method for producing a bearing body of a plain bearing assembly. Furthermore, the invention relates to a bearing body of a plain bearing assembly.

[0002] Plain bearing assemblies for supporting a rotor, namely for supporting a rotating shaft of the rotor, in a housing are generally known in practice. Plain bearing assemblies have housing-side bearing bodies with a sliding surface facing the rotor, and / or rotor-side bearing bodies with a sliding surface facing the stator.

[0003] In the case of bearing bodies of a plain bearing arrangement, the sliding surface of the respective bearing body is provided by a plain bearing material that is applied to a surface of a base body of the respective bearing body. It is difficult to permanently apply the plain bearing material, which forms the sliding surface, to the base body.

[0004] In order to permanently apply a plain bearing material to the surface of a base body, it is known from DE 10 2011 087 82 A1 to provide an intermediate layer formed as a porous layer between the actual base body and the plain bearing material. DE 10 2016 110 858 B4 discloses providing an intermediate layer of galvanically coated wires between the base body and the plain bearing material, with the wires forming undercuts. Further prior art is known from DE 365 118 A, DE 36 21 577 A1, and AT 512 442 B1.

[0005] There is a need to manufacture a bearing body of a plain bearing arrangement with less effort and also a bearing body that can be manufactured with less effort.

[0006] Based on this, the present invention is based on the object of creating a novel method for producing a bearing body of a plain bearing arrangement and a bearing body of a plain bearing arrangement.

[0007] This object is achieved by a method for producing a bearing body according to claim 1.

[0008] The method comprises at least the following steps: Providing a base body of the bearing body. Machining the base body on a surface, namely by forming several intersecting grooves, wherein several rod-like projections are formed between the intersecting grooves. Forming the projections to form a defined pattern of undercut-like recesses or geometries. Applying a plain bearing material to the surface with the formed projections, infiltrating or filling the undercut-like recesses or geometries.

[0009] The present invention proposes subjecting the base body of the bearing body, namely the surface to which the plain bearing material is to be applied, to a defined machining process. In a first step, intersecting grooves are introduced into the surface, forming rod-like projections. In a second step, these projections are reshaped to form a defined pattern of undercut-like recesses or geometries. The plain bearing material is applied to this surface with the reshaped projections, infiltrating or filling the undercut-like recesses or geometries with the plain bearing material.

[0010] This makes it possible to provide a bearing body for a plain bearing assembly with minimal effort, in which the plain bearing material adheres permanently and securely to the base body, without the need to apply a special intermediate layer to the base body. Instead, the base body is machined on the surface intended to support the plain bearing material in the manner described above to create the undercut-like recesses or geometries through which the plain bearing material can ultimately be securely and reliably applied to the base body, thereby permanently holding or fixing the plain bearing material to the base body.

[0011] According to an advantageous further development, the projections are formed by bending, creating the defined pattern from the undercut-like recesses or geometries. Forming the projections by bending is particularly preferred. The formation of the projections by machining and the forming of the projections by bending can be performed in the same setup of the base body on a machine tool. This allows the process to be kept particularly simple.

[0012] According to an advantageous development, the rod-like projections form columns and rows, wherein the rod-like projections are bent in different directions, preferably in opposite directions, alternating between the columns and / or rows of the rod-like projections. Bending the rod-like projections in the defined directions can create a bending pattern that provides particularly advantageous undercut-like recesses or geometries for permanently and securely holding the plain bearing material to the base body.

[0013] The bearing body according to the invention is defined in claim 6.

[0014] Preferred developments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and the following description. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail, without being limited thereto, with reference to the drawings. Herein: Fig. 1 a base body of a bearing body in an intermediate processing step thereof; Fig. 2 the main body of the Fig. 1 after a further processing step; Fig. 3 a cross section through Fig. 2; Fig. 4 another base body of a bearing body in a state analogous to Fig. 2; Fig. 5 a cross section through Fig. 4; Fig. 6 another base body of a bearing body in a state analogous to Fig. 2; Fig. 7 another base body of a bearing body in a state analogous to Fig. 2; and Fig. 8 a partial cross-section through Fig. 6.

[0015] The invention relates to a method for producing a bearing body of a plain bearing arrangement and a bearing body of a plain bearing arrangement.

[0016] The bearing body can be either a housing-side or a rotor-side bearing body, whether for an axial plain bearing arrangement or a radial plain bearing arrangement. A housing-side bearing body is fixed to a housing and provides a sliding surface facing a rotor. A rotor-side bearing body is fixed to the rotor side and provides a sliding surface facing the stator.

[0017] In order to produce a bearing body according to the invention, a base body 10 of the bearing body is first provided, wherein this base body 10 preferably consists of a metallic material, such as steel.

[0018] Subsequently, the base body 10 is machined on at least one surface 11, on which the plain bearing material of the bearing body is to be applied, namely by forming several intersecting grooves 12, 13. Thus, Fig. 1 a perspective view of a base body 10 of a bearing body of an axial plain bearing arrangement, on which surface 11 a plurality of mutually parallel grooves 12 and a plurality of mutually parallel grooves 13 are formed, which intersect, wherein these grooves 12, 13 in Fig. 1 extend perpendicular to each other and form an array 14 of a plurality of rod-like projections 15 forming rows and columns.

[0019] In a subsequent processing step, the rod-like projections 15 are subjected to a forming process (see Fig. 2), in particular by bending the rod-like projections 15, whereby undercut-like recesses or geometries 16 are formed on the surface 11.

[0020] A plain bearing material, in particular a thermoplastic plastic such as poly-ether-ether-ketone (PEEK), is applied to the thus machined surface 11 with the formed projections 15, specifically by infiltrating or filling the undercut-like recesses or geometries 16. This ensures particularly secure adhesion of the plain bearing material to the surface 11 of the base body 10 of the bearing body.

[0021] In Fig. 2, the projections 15 are formed by bending in such a way that in the alternation of the Fig. 2, the projections 15 are bent in different directions, namely in opposite directions.

[0022] Thus, the projections 15 of the rows are alternately bent either all in a first direction to the left or all in a second opposite direction to the right. Between the individual rows of rod-like projections 15 bent in different directions, the continuous grooves 12 are still formed, but the grooves 13 are no longer completely free due to this bending.

[0023] It may be provided that the rod-like projections 15 are additionally bent column by column, in particular in such a way that projections 15 bent to the right are additionally bent perpendicularly to the front and / or projections 15 bent to the left are additionally bent in the opposite direction to the rear.

[0024] A variety of bending patterns for the rod-like projections 15 are conceivable in order to provide corresponding undercut-like recesses or geometries 16, which ultimately enable a secure adhesion of the plain bearing material to the base body 10.

[0025] Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 shows details of a base body 10 of a bearing body of a radial plain bearing arrangement, wherein the bearing body is a radial bearing segment that does not extend around the entire circumference of a shaft to be supported, but only around a partial area of the circumference. This base body 10 is machined on its radially inner surface 11 in a manner analogous to that shown in Fig. 1 to 3. Therefore, to avoid unnecessary repetition, the same reference numerals are used for the same components. Reference can be made to the above explanations regarding the embodiment of the Fig. 1 to 3.

[0026] Fig. Figure 6 shows a base body 10 for a radial plain bearing arrangement, which extends circumferentially closed around a shaft to be supported. This base body 10 is machined on its radially inner surface 11 in a similar manner to the base bodies 10 of the embodiment of Fig. 1 to 3 or Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, so that also for Fig. 6 again, reference can be made to the above statements.

[0027] In the Fig. 1 to 3, Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 and Fig. The embodiments shown in Figure 6 are in particular stator-side bearing bodies or base bodies 10 for stator-side bearing bodies, which are accordingly connected to a stator and are machined on a surface facing the rotor in the manner described above and are provided with the plain bearing material.

[0028] In contrast, Fig. 7 and Fig. 8 a base body 10 for a rotor-side bearing body, which is machined on a surface 11, specifically on a radially outer surface 11 that later faces a stator, to form the rod-like, deformed projections 15 in order to form the undercut-like recesses or geometries 16. The plain bearing material is to be applied to this surface 11 with the bent projections 15, again filling or infiltrating the undercut-like recesses or geometries 16 that form the bent projections 15, in order to ensure secure retention of the plain bearing material on the base body 10.

[0029] The invention accordingly proposes a method for producing a bearing body of a plain bearing arrangement and a bearing body of a plain bearing arrangement, wherein the bearing body has the respective base body 10, which is initially machined on a surface 11, to which the plain bearing material is to be applied, to form intersecting grooves 12, 13 and the rod-like projections 15, in particular by a machining process.

[0030] Subsequently, by forming the projections 15, the undercut-like recesses or geometries 16 are formed, which ultimately enable the sliding bearing material to adhere securely to the respective surface 11 of the respective base body 10 of the bearing body.

[0031] As already explained, the bearing bodies can be bearing bodies for an axial plain bearing arrangement or bearing bodies for a radial plain bearing arrangement, preferably they are bearing segments for an axial plain bearing arrangement or bearing segments for a radial plain bearing arrangement.
