Description

The invention relates to an electrical connection system according to claim 1.Cable harnesses for motor vehicles are known. The wiring harnesses have an arrangement of electric wires. The electrical cables can be connected to one another, for example by means of a splice connection. If the splice connection is damaged over the service life of the cable harness, the splice connection heats up when it is subjected to current loading. If the splice connection is defective, this can lead to a fire of the cable harness.US 2020 / 0 313 328 A1 discloses an electrical connection system of the generic type.WO 2020 / 201 090 A1 discloses a heating arrangement for heating a wall and a space arrangement with a wall with such a heating arrangement. It is an object of the invention to provide an improved electrical connection system and an improved method for operating the connection system. This object is achieved by means of an electrical connection system according to claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are given in the dependent claims. It has been recognized that an improved electrical connection system can be provided in that the connection system has a cable bundle and a protective sheath, wherein the cable bundle has at least one arrangement with at least a first electrical cable and a second electrical cable, and a contact device. The protective casing has a casing, at least one first closure and a heat store. The casing has at least one first longitudinal opening and delimits on the inside a receiving space. The cable bundle is guided in the receiving space and passes through the first longitudinal opening. The heat store is arranged in the receiving space and the cable bundle is embedded at least in sections in the heat store. The first closure is disposed at or adjacent the first longitudinal opening on the sheath and secures the sheath to the cable bundle. The heat accumulator closes the receiving space at the first longitudinal opening in a fluid-tight manner at least in sections. The first electrical cable is electrically connected to the second electrical cable by means of the contact device. In this case, the contact device can be designed, for example, as a mechanical contact device or as a welded connection or as a spliced connection. In normal operation of the electrical connection system, the contact device has a first temperature which is lower than a first melting temperature of the heat store at the contact device. In the event of a fault in the contact device, the contact device is designed to heat up to a second temperature which is greater than the first melting temperature. The heat store is designed to melt on the contact device in the event of a fault and to cool the contact device. The heat accumulator at the first longitudinal opening is designed to prevent the melted heat accumulator from emerging from the receiving space at the first longitudinal opening. This configuration has the advantage that the contact device cools the damaged contact device locally through the heat store in the event of a fault and thermal damage, in particular a fire, can be prevented. In particular, thermal damage to an insulating sheath of the first and / or second electrical cable can also be prevented. This embodiment has the advantage that additional sealing means for delimiting and sealing the heat store in the casing can be dispensed with.Furthermore, the heat store can be introduced particularly easily into the receiving space, for example, by the cable bundle being pulled through the receiving space and the cable bundle being poured into a liquid heat store, which then solidifies and cures.Furthermore, the configuration has the advantage that, during normal operation, the heat store is present in the receiving space in the solid phase state and is designed to transport the first heat arising at the cable bundle outwards to the sheath, wherein the first heat generated at the cable bundle is convectively emitted at the sheath. In the event of a fault in the cable bundle, the heat store locally melts and takes up the function of a latent heat store or a phase change material and in the process locally cools the cable bundle by its melting, in order thus to prevent a fire on the cable bundle. The melting of the heat accumulator is locally limited, so that it is ensured that the heat accumulator at the first longitudinal opening reliably seals the receiving space and the melted heat accumulator remains in the receiving space. This is ensured in that the receiving space is of large-volume design and local melting of the heat accumulator is thereby made possible without the heat accumulator, which seals off the first longitudinal opening, melting open in the process.Further melting in the event of a fault can be prevented in particular by interrupting a transmission of current via the cable bundle in the event of a fault, for example when detecting the melting of the heat accumulator, for example by measuring the temperature of the heat accumulator. In a further embodiment, the heat store has a first subsection and a second subsection arranged offset with respect to the first subsection. In the first subsection, the contact device is embedded in the heat accumulator and the second subsection adjoins the first longitudinal opening. The heat accumulator has a first heat accumulator material in the first subsection and a second heat accumulator material in the second subsection, wherein the first melting temperature of the first heat accumulator material is lower than a second melting temperature of the second heat accumulator material. This can additionally ensure that the melted heat store does not melt the heat store at the longitudinal opening. In a further embodiment, the heat store has microencapsulated second heat store material in the second subsection. In particular, the heat store has at least 50 percent, in particular at least 80 percent, by weight of microencapsulated phase change material in the second subsection. It is particularly advantageous if the heat accumulator in the second subsection consists of microencapsulated phase change material. In a further embodiment, the contact device has a splice connection and / or a welded connection and / or contact elements abutting one another. This ensures a secure electrical contact between the first electrical cable and the second electrical cable during normal operation. In a further embodiment, the first electrical cable has a first insulating sheath and / or the second electrical cable has a second insulating sheath. The first insulating jacket and / or the second insulating jacket has a maximum permissible operating temperature. The first melting temperature is greater than the maximum permissible operating temperature, in particular by 5° C. to 40° C. inclusive. This prevents high thermal damage, in particular a fire of the insulating jacket due to the heat store. In a further embodiment, the heat store comprises at least one of the following first and / or second heat store materials: aliphatic hydrocarbon, preferably having 16 or 17 or 18 carbon atoms, salt, ionic liquid, microencapsulated hard paraffin, hard paraffin, thermochemical heat store. In a further embodiment, the protective casing has a second closure, wherein the casing has a second longitudinal opening which is arranged opposite the first longitudinal opening. The second electrical cable extends through the second longitudinal opening. The second closure is disposed at or adjacent the second longitudinal opening on the sheath and secures the sheath to the cable bundle. The heat accumulator closes the receiving space at the second longitudinal opening at least in sections. This embodiment has the advantage that no sealing means have to be used at both ends in order to close the receiving space in a fluid-tight manner. In an advantageous embodiment, the first longitudinal opening has a smaller maximum cross-sectional opening than the receiving space on the contact device. As a result, the quantity of the heat accumulator which seals the first longitudinal opening at the first longitudinal opening can be kept low, while, on the other hand, the quantity of the heat accumulator which is arranged in the receiving space or in the region of the contact device is greater, so that the heat accumulator can absorb a particularly large amount of second heat from the contact device in the event of a fault. It is particularly advantageous if the jacket is formed at least partially in the manner of a hollow body and comprises a flexible material. The casing can be necked off at the first longitudinal opening. This ensures good mechanical retention of the sheath on the cable bundle.A particularly advantageous method for operating the electrical connection system, which is configured as described above, can be provided in that, in normal operation, the heat store is in a fixed phase state. An electric current is transmitted via the cable bundle. Due to the transmitted current, the cable bundle heats up at least in normal operation, and the heat store transfers a first heat of the cable bundle to the jacket, wherein in the event of a fault due to the transmitted current, at least the cable bundle heats up and provides a second heat, wherein the second heat fuses the heat store in a regionally offset manner with respect to the first longitudinal opening and the heat store absorbs the second heat for cooling the cable bundle. This prevents local overheating of the cable bundle, in particular of the insulating sheathing of the cables and in particular a fire of the cable bundle. It is particularly advantageous here if the heat accumulator at the first longitudinal opening remains in the solid phase state in the event of a fault and an escape of melted heat accumulator through the first longitudinal opening is thereby prevented. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to figures. The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows a schematic longitudinal section through an electrical connection system according to a first embodiment; FIG. 2 shows a sectional view along a sectional plane A-A shown in FIG. 1 through the electrical connection system shown in FIG. 1 ; FIG. 3 shows a sectional view along a sectional plane B-B shown in FIG. 1 through the electrical connection system shown in FIG. 1 ; and FIG. 4 shows a schematic illustration of an electrical connection system according to a second embodiment.FIG. 1 shows a schematic longitudinal section through an electrical connection system 10 according to a first embodiment. The electrical connection system 10 comprises, for example, a cable bundle 15 and a protective sheath 20. The first and second electrical cables 25, 30 extend along a longitudinal axis 31.The first electric cable 25 includes a first electric conductor 35 and a first insulating jacket 40. The first insulating jacket 40 surrounds the first electrical conductor 35 on the circumferential side and electrically isolates it. The second electrical cable 30 has a second electrical conductor 45 and a second insulating sheath 50, wherein the second insulating sheath 50 surrounds and electrically isolates the second electrical conductor 45 on the circumferential side. The insulating jacket 40, 50 has a maximum operating temperature. The maximum operating temperature is usually provided by the manufacturer of the cables 25, 30 and defines the temperature over which the electrical conductor 35, 45 must not heat up, without permanent damage, which is not reversible, of the insulating sheathing 40, 50 occurring in this case. The maximum operating temperature may be in a range of 80° C. to 220° C.The first electrical conductor 35 is electrically connected to the second electrical conductor 45 of the second electrical cable 30 by means of a contact device 55. The contact device 55 can be formed, for example, as a splice connection between the first electrical conductor 35 and the second electrical conductor 45. It is also possible for the contact device 55 to be a pluggable contact device having two contact elements which engage one another and electrically connect the first and second electrical cables 25, 30 to one another. It would also be possible for the first electrical conductor 35 to be welded to the second electrical conductor 45, for example. In the embodiment, a plurality of first and second electrical cables 25, 30 are substantially combined along the longitudinal axis 31 to form the cable bundle 15. Each of the electrical cables 25, 30 of the cable bundle 15 is arranged analogously to the first and second electrical cables 25, 30 described above. In FIG. 1, three first and second electrical cables 25, 30 are respectively combined to form the cable bundle 15, for example. The cables 25, 30 extend substantially along the longitudinal axis 31.Each of the electrical cables 25, 30 is connected by its electrical conductor 35, 45 to a securing device 96. The securing device 96 can be designed, for example, as a securing device or as a securing device. The safety device 96 is also designed to prevent electrical overloading of the electrical cable 25, 30. In particular, the safety device 96 disconnects the current transmission via the respective electrical cable 25, 30 in the event of an overload with a current. In a normal operation of the electrical connection system 10, the safety device 96 is closed, so that a current transmission via the respective electrical conductor 35, 45 of the electrical cables 25, 30 is possible. The protective casing 20 has a casing 60, a first closure 65, preferably a second closure 70, and a heat store 75. The sheath 60 is substantially hollow body-like and extends substantially along the longitudinal axis 31. The enclosure 60 has a first longitudinal opening 80 disposed at a first longitudinal end of the enclosure 60. In the longitudinal direction with respect to the longitudinal axis 31, a second longitudinal opening 85 of the casing 60 is arranged opposite the first longitudinal opening 80. The first longitudinal opening 80 is arranged at a distance 1 from the second longitudinal opening 85.The sheath 60 encloses a receiving space 90 on the inside between the first longitudinal opening 80 and the second longitudinal opening 85, and the cable bundle 15 is guided through the receiving space 90 via the first longitudinal opening 80 toward the second longitudinal opening 85. In this case, the cable bundle 15 extends through the receiving space 90 and is surrounded on the outside by the sheath 60. The cable bundle 15 reaches through the first longitudinal opening 80 and the second longitudinal opening 85 into the receiving space 90, respectively. The receiving space 90 is at least partially filled with the heat store 75. In particular, the heat store 75 is arranged between the individual cables 25, 30 of the cable bundle 15 and between the cable bundle 15 and an inner circumferential side 95 of the casing 60. It is particularly advantageous if the cable bundle 15, but at least individual electrical cables 25, 30 of the cable bundle 15, are embedded in the heat store 75. It is particularly advantageous here if the receiving space 90 is substantially completely filled with the heat store 75 and the cable bundle 15 between the first longitudinal opening 80 and the second longitudinal opening 85 is guided through the receiving space 90 substantially completely embedded in the heat store 75.The heat accumulator 75 is in a fixed phase state in the receiving space 90 in the normal operation of the electrical connection system 10. The heat store 75 has at least one of the following first heat store materials: aliphatic hydrocarbon, preferably having 16 or 17 or 18 carbon atoms, salt, ionic liquid, microencapsulated hard paraffin, hard paraffin, thermochemical heat stores. The first heat storage material has a first melting temperature S 1. It is particularly advantageous if the first melting temperature S 1 of the first heat storage material is greater than the maximum permissible operating temperature of the first insulating jacket 40 and / or of the second insulating jacket 50 by at least 5° C. to 40° C.The first shutter 65 is disposed adjacent to the first longitudinal opening 80. The first closure 65 can also be arranged directly on the first longitudinal opening 80. In the embodiment, the first closure 65 engages around the casing 60 radially on the outside with respect to the longitudinal axis 31 The first closure 65 can have a closure element, for example a closure clamp, which is laid annularly around the casing 60. For example, the first closure 65 has a cable tie or a clamp as a closure clamp. Other configurations of the closure device are also conceivable.Opposite the first closure 65 in the longitudinal direction with respect to the longitudinal axis 31, the second closure 70 is arranged at the second longitudinal opening 85 or adjacent to the second longitudinal opening 85. In this case, as shown in FIG. 1, the second closure 70 can be arranged on the outside of the casing 60. In this case, for example, the second closure 70, analogously to the first closure 65, can also have a second closure element, in particular a closure clamp which is designed, for example, as a cable tie or as a clip, which circumferentially engages around the casing 60.The first fastener 65 preferably narrows the sleeve 60 at the first longitudinal opening 80. In particular, the first closure 65 presses the inner circumferential side 95 of the sheath 60 on the outside onto the cable bundle 15 so that the inner circumferential side 95 of the sheath 60 abuts a partial region of the respective insulating sheath 40, 50 of the first electrical cable 25 in regions. The first longitudinal opening 80 and / or the second longitudinal opening 85 has a smaller maximum cross-sectional opening than the receiving space 90 on the contact device 55.The second closure 70 narrows the sheath 60 at the second longitudinal opening 85 and presses the inner circumferential side 95 at the second longitudinal opening 85 from radially outside to radially inside onto the cable bundle 15, so that the inner circumferential side 95 of the sheath 60 abuts in sections against a partial region of the second insulating sheath 50 of the respective second electrical cables 30 of the cable bundle 15.The heat accumulator 75 is divided into a first subsection 200 and a second subsection 205. In addition, the heat accumulator 75 can have a third subsection 210. In the embodiment, the second subsection 205 is arranged adjacent to the first longitudinal opening 80 and extends in the longitudinal direction in the direction of the contact device 55.The first subsection 200 is arranged in the longitudinal direction between the first closure 65 and the second closure 70, preferably in the region of the contact device 55. In this case, the second subsection 205 adjoins the first subsection 200 on the side facing the first longitudinal opening 80. The third subsection 210 is arranged in the longitudinal direction between the first subsection 200 and the second longitudinal opening 85. The first closure 65 is arranged radially on the outside of the second subsection 205. The second closure 70 is arranged radially on the outside of the third subsection 210 of the heat accumulator 75.FIG. 2 shows a sectional view along a sectional plane A-A shown in FIG. 1 through the electrical connection system 10 shown in FIG. 1.The first electrical cables 25 can abut each other with the respective first insulating sheathing 40 in the second subsection 205 or be arranged at a distance from each other. The heat accumulator 75 present in the solid phase state fills a space between the first insulating casings 40 and between the first insulating casings 40 and the inner circumferential side 95 and seals the receiving space 90 at the first longitudinal opening 80 in a fluid-tight manner in the second subsection 205 at the first longitudinal opening 80 with respect to an environment 105 of the electrical connection system 10 at the first longitudinal opening 80. This prevents, for example, corrosive media, such as brines or the like, from entering the receiving space 90 via the first longitudinal opening 80 and prevents the corrosive medium from penetrating into the first subsection 200, in particular toward the contact device 55.FIG. 3 shows a sectional view along a sectional plane B-B shown in FIG. 1 through the electrical connection system 10 shown in FIG. 1.The second electrical cables 30 can abut each other with the respective second insulating sheathing 50 in the second subsection 205 or be arranged at a distance from each other. The heat accumulator 75 present in the solid phase state fills a space between the second insulating casings 50 and between the second insulating casings 50 and the inner circumferential side 95 and seals the receiving space 90 at the second longitudinal opening 85 in a fluid-tight manner in the third subsection 210 at the second longitudinal opening 85 with respect to the environment 105 of the electrical connection system 10 at the second longitudinal opening 85. This prevents, for example, corrosive media, such as brines or the like, from entering the receiving space 90 via the second longitudinal opening 85, and prevents the corrosive medium from penetrating into the first subsection 200, in particular toward the contact device 55.The embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 has the advantage that a fluid-tight sealing of the receiving space 90 on both sides of the casing 60 is thus ensured by the heat store 75. Corrosion of the contact device 55 can thereby be avoided. Furthermore, further sealing means, in particular sealing disks, can be dispensed withAs described above, the first heat storage material is particularly elastic, so that a fluid-tight seal of the receiving space 90 and protection of the contact device 55 are ensured even in the case of increased vibration requirements. In normal operation of the electrical connection system 10, an electrical current is transmitted via at least one of the electrical cables 25, 30. During normal operation, the electric conductor 35, 45 and the contact device 55 each heat up to a first temperature T 1, which is lower than the first melting temperature S 1 of the heat storage material and / or the maximum operating temperature, by the transmitted current. In this case, the cable bundle 15, in particular the contact device 55, provides a first heat Q 1. The heat Q 1 is transferred from the contact device 55 and / or the electrical conductor 25, 30 to the heat accumulator 75. The heat store 75 serves as a buffer store in the embodiment and heats up. At the same time, the heat accumulator 75 also serves as a heat conductor. The heat store 75 transfers the absorbed heat Q to the outside to the enclosure 60, wherein the enclosure 60 convectively releases the generated heat Q to the environment 105. In normal operation, a balance is established between the heat Q generated by the electrical cables 20, 25 and the heat Q emitted by the casing 60, so that, on the one hand, both the insulating jacket 40, 50 and the heat accumulator 75 have a first temperature T 1 which is lower than the first melting temperature S 1 and the maximum operating temperature. For example, a fault situation may occur in the electrical connection system 10, which fault situation differs from normal operation. For example, an ohmic contact resistance of the contact device may deteriorate and increase over the operating time of the electrical connection system 10. The fault may also occur, for example, in that, as a result of frequent bending and / or bending or vibrations, the first electrical conductor 35 and / or the second electrical conductor 45 inside the receiving space 90 breaks partially, in particular in the first subsection 200, and a current-carrying cross section in the first electrical conductor 35 and / or in the second electrical conductor 45 thus decreases. In the event of a fault in the electrical connection system 10, current is transmitted via the damaged cable bundle 15 just described, for example via the damaged contact device 55. In this case, the contact device 55 and / or the electrical conductor 35, 45 heat up to a second temperature T 2 to a significantly greater extent than in normal operation, with the result that a second heat Q 2 generated thereby is greater than the first heat Q 1 in normal operation. The second temperature T 2 is higher and increases more steeply with time compared to the first temperature T 1.The second heat Q 2 generated, for example, by the contact device 55 in the event of a fault melts the heat store 75 locally in the region of the contact device 55. During melting, the heat accumulator 75 changes from the solid phase state to a liquid phase state. As a result, a kind of liquid bubble is formed in the first subsection 200 of the heat accumulator 75, and the molten heat accumulator 75 is prevented from flowing out radially outwards by the casing 60. As a result of the phase change, the heat store 75 stores a particularly large amount of second heat Q 2 of the damaged cable bundle 15 and functions as a phase change material or as a latent heat store. As a result of the melting of the first heat storage material, additional cooling of the damaged contact device 55 is thus provided. The heat accumulator 75 melted in the first subsection 200 is held in its position in the radial direction by the casing 60 in the receiving space 90. Because the receiving space 90 is formed in a large volume and the first and second longitudinal openings 80, 85 are arranged at a great distance from the contact device 55, the second heat Q 2 generated by the contact device 55 is convectively discharged circumferentially from the casing 60 to the environment 105. The heat accumulator 75 melted in the first subsection 200 is held in the receiving space 90 by the heat accumulator 75 which is arranged in the second subsection 205 and in the third subsection 210.Because the first longitudinal opening 80 and the second longitudinal opening 85 are arranged at a great distance from the contact device 55, the heat accumulator 75 in the second subsection 205 and the heat accumulator 75 in the third subsection 210 remain in the solid phase state and in this case acts as sealing material with respect to the heat accumulator 75 melted on the contact device 55 and in the first subsection 200.A volume of the heat accumulator 75 should have at least the following volume V:In this case, ni is the number of first electrical cables 25, ri is a maximum outer radius of the respective first electrical cable 25 and 1 is a minimum distance 1 of the first closure 65 from the second closure 70.FIG. 4 shows a schematic illustration of an electrical connection system 10 according to a second embodiment. The connection system 10 is substantially identical to the electrical connection system 10 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. In the following, only the differences of the electrical connection system 10 shown in FIG. 4 with respect to the electrical connection system 10 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 will be discussed. In the embodiment, the heat accumulator 75 has the first heat accumulator material in the first subsection 200. In the second subsection 205 and / or in the third subsection 210, the heat accumulator 75 has a second heat accumulator material, which is preferably embodied differently from the first heat accumulator material. In particular, the second heat storage material differs from the first heat storage material in that the first melting temperature S 1 of the first heat storage material is lower than a second melting temperature S 2 of the second heat storage material. In particular, the second melting temperature S 2 is higher than the first melting temperature S 1 of the first heat storage material by 20° C. to 100° C.The second heat storage material may comprise at least one of the following materials: aliphatic hydrocarbon, preferably having 16 or 17 or 18 carbon atoms, salt, ionic liquid, microencapsulated hard paraffin, hard paraffin, thermochemical heat storage. It is particularly advantageous if the second heat storage material is encapsulated. It is particularly advantageous if the heat accumulator 75 has microencapsulated second heat accumulator material in the second subsection 205 and / or in the third subsection 210, wherein in particular the heat accumulator 75 has microencapsulated phase change material to the extent of at least 50 percent, in particular to the extent of at least 80 percent, by weight in the second subsection 205, wherein in particular in the second subsection 205, the heat accumulator 75 consists of microencapsulated phase change material. This makes it possible to dispense with microencapsulation of the first heat storage material in the first subsection 200.Due to the fact that the second heat storage material is arranged in the second subsection 205 and / or in the third subsection 210 and has a greater second melting temperature S 2 than the first heat storage material in the first subsection 200, it is ensured that even in the case of complete melting of the first heat storage material in the first subsection 200, the second subsection 205 and the third subsection 210 do not melt and, as a result, reliable fluid-tight sealing of the receiving space 90 at the respective longitudinal opening 80, 85 is avoided. This is in particular avoided if the second heat storage material is encapsulated in the second and / or third subsection 205, 210.
