Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a receptacle for an insert element and an injection molding tool for producing an injection molded component.

[0002] From the state of the art, holders for plug-in elements are known, which usually have a complex design and thus cost-intensive production.

[0003] The present invention is based on the object of providing a holder with a simple and production-optimized design. Furthermore, the invention is based on the object of proposing an injection molding tool that enables the cost-effective production of an injection-molded component.

[0004] This object is achieved according to the invention by a receptacle for a plug-in element for forming a connecting arrangement, comprising a base section and a receiving section extending at an angle from the base section, wherein at least one passage is provided in the receiving section into which the plug-in element can be inserted to form the connecting arrangement, wherein the at least one passage is formed by a groove which is provided in the receiving section and extends through a wall of the base section.

[0005] The base section may preferably be a section that is frightening over a wide area, in particular a wall that is frightening over a wide area.

[0006] The receiving section may preferably be a flat, tapered section extending at an angle from the base section.

[0007] The receiving section can form a wall element.

[0008] Preferably, the receiving portion extends in a direction transverse to the base portion.

[0009] In this context, transversely or at the angle at which the receiving section extends from the base section means that the receiving section extends at an angle deviating from 0° and 180° away from the base section.

[0010] That is, the receiving portion extends in particular in an extension direction which is not parallel to an extension direction of the base portion.

[0011] For example, the receiving section may extend at an angle between 10° and 170°, or at an angle between 45° and 135°, or at an angle of 90° + / - 30° from the base section.

[0012] The groove preferably forms a partial opening in the receiving section through which the passage for inserting the plug-in element is formed.

[0013] Preferably, the passage is provided substantially orthogonal to the planar extension direction of the receiving section.

[0014] A further development of the receptacle can provide that the groove extends straight from the base section into the receptacle section and the at least one passage formed by the groove runs from a plug-in front side of the receptacle section to a rear side of the receptacle section.

[0015] In other words, the groove forms a partial opening in the receiving section through which the passage is formed.

[0016] The insertion-side front of the receiving section means that the insertion element can be inserted into the passage from this front.

[0017] Preferably, the insertion element can have locking elements which are provided for forming the connection arrangement and which, after insertion into the passage, lock into place on the rear side of the receiving section.

[0018] By means of the receptacle and the insertion element inserted into the passage, both a detachable and a non-detachable connection arrangement can be formed.

[0019] An advantageous further development of the receptacle can provide that the at least one passage is defined by an inner wall section of the groove and a wall section of a projection formed on the rear side of the receptacle section.

[0020] The inner wall section of the groove is defined in particular by a thickness of the receiving section.

[0021] The projection is preferably formed integrally with the receiving portion.

[0022] In this case, the projection can preferably be arranged corresponding to the groove formed in the receiving section and partially cover or delimit the groove towards the rear side of the receiving section.

[0023] Preferably, the projection has a width that is greater than the width of the groove formed in the receiving portion. This allows the projection to partially overlap the groove in the width direction, and the side regions of the projection can merge integrally into the receiving portion.

[0024] In particular, the projection on the rear side of the receiving portion can extend correspondingly to the groove, advantageously beyond an end portion of the groove, and the passage can be formed through the projection in the insertion direction of the plug-in element.

[0025] The wall section of the projection formed on the rear side of the receiving section, which wall section partially delimits the passage, is defined in particular by a height of the projection with respect to the rear side of the receiving section.

[0026] A design of the receptacle can also provide that the projection extends from the base section to the rear side of the receptacle section and partially covers the groove formed in the receptacle section towards the rear side.

[0027] Particularly preferably, the projection is formed integrally with the receiving portion and the base portion.

[0028] In this way, the projection can form a reinforcing structure between the base portion and the receiving portion.

[0029] In a further development of the receptacle, the at least one projection can be designed as a bevel which extends downwards from the base section on the rear side of the receptacle section.

[0030] In particular, the draft angle forms a demoulding slope, which facilitates removal from a mould.

[0031] The draft angle may preferably have a slope through which the draft angle merges into the receiving section in an end region of the draft angle.

[0032] Likewise, the draft angle can have a slope in which the draft angle in the end area forms a shoulder or a step towards the receiving section.

[0033] A further advantageous embodiment of the receptacle can also provide that the groove and the projection are designed in such a way that the at least one passage has a hole-shaped, slot-shaped, oval or rectangular passage cross-section.

[0034] In particular, the passage cross-section of the passage is adapted to a design of the plug-in element.

[0035] To form the connecting arrangement, the plug-in element preferably has a plug-in shaft, wherein the plug-in shaft forms a plug-in cross-section which corresponds to the passage cross-section of the at least one passage.

[0036] The hole-shaped, slot-shaped, oval or rectangular passage cross-section of the passage can be formed in particular by a round, oval or square end section of the groove.

[0037] A section of the passage can thus be defined by the round, oval or square end section of the groove.

[0038] Preferably, the passage extends at least partially through the projection.

[0039] Corresponding to the round, oval or square end section of the groove, the projection can have a round, oval or square wall section which defines a further section of the passage.

[0040] In particular, the round, oval or square wall portion of the projection and the round, oval or square end portion of the groove are provided opposite each other to define the hole-shaped, slot-shaped, oval or rectangular passage cross-section of the passage.

[0041] In particular, the round, oval or square boundary portion of the projection and the round, oval or square end portion of the groove are provided opposite each other in an extension direction of the groove.

[0042] In an advantageous further development of the receptacle, a shoulder associated with the passage can be formed on the projection, in particular the bevel, wherein at least two locking sections are formed by the shoulder on the rear side of the receptacle section, which are arranged in different planes with respect to an insertion direction of the passage and which can be engaged behind by the locking elements on the insertion element.

[0043] The step associated with the passage preferably forms a step through which the at least two locking sections are arranged in the different levels.

[0044] Preferably, the shoulder is formed substantially transversely to the direction of extension of the groove.

[0045] In particular, the step is formed on the projection in such a way that the step extends through the passage. In other words, the step traverses the passage. This means that the stepped step is formed on the side areas of the passage.

[0046] The locking elements are preferably designed as a plurality of locking wings on the insertion shaft of the insertion element.

[0047] A further development of the receptacle can also provide that the base section and the receptacle section are formed as an injection-molded part or as an integral molded part.

[0048] Preferably, the base portion and the receiving portion with the groove formed therein, and preferably with the shoulder provided thereon, are formed as an integral injection-molded part or integral molded part.

[0049] In particular, the injection-molded part or integral molded part is made of plastic, preferably of a thermoplastic.

[0050] In one embodiment of the receptacle, the base section can form a wall section of an injection-molded component, in particular a housing, a hood, a tub, a cockpit cross member for a motor vehicle or the like.

[0051] Since the base portion forms the wall portion of an injection-molded component, the receiving portion can be formed as an integral part of the injection-molded component.

[0052] Particularly preferably, the injection-molded component forms a component for a motor vehicle, in particular a valve cover for an internal combustion engine, an oil pan, the aforementioned cockpit cross member or the like.

[0053] The injection-molded component is made in particular from a plastic, preferably a thermoplastic.

[0054] Particularly preferably, the injection-molded component with the receptacle provided thereon is made of the same plastic, preferably thermoplastic plastic.

[0055] The object is also achieved by an injection molding tool for producing an injection molded component with a first tool part and at least one further tool part, between which at least one cavity is formed to form the injection molded component, wherein a plastic can be injected into the cavity, wherein the at least one cavity is designed in such a way that the injection molded component can be formed with at least one receptacle provided thereon according to one of the previously described embodiments.

[0056] In particular, the at least one cavity is designed in such a way that an injection-molded component for a motor vehicle can be formed by the injection-molded tool, in particular a housing component, a valve cover, an oil pan, a cockpit cross member or the like for a motor vehicle.

[0057] The injection molding tool is particularly preferably a slide-less injection molding tool.

[0058] In this injection molding tool, a negative form of the groove is formed on the first tool part, for example in the form of a projection or the like, by means of which the groove forming the passage can be formed in the receiving section during the injection molding process.

[0059] Due to the design of the receptacle, it is particularly preferably provided that the groove in the receptacle section and thus the passage for the insertion element can be formed by a slide-less tool part.

[0060] A negative mold of the projection, in particular of the mold slope, is formed on the at least one further tool part, by means of which the projection, in particular the mold slope, can be formed with the passage running through the projection during the injection molding process.

[0061] A demoulding direction of the sliderless injection moulding tool is preferably provided in the extension direction of the groove in the receiving section.

[0062] Further preferred features and / or advantages of the invention are the subject of the following description and the drawings of exemplary embodiments.

[0063] In the figures shows: Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a connecting arrangement according to an embodiment of the disclosure; Fig. 2 a schematic perspective front view of a receptacle of the connection arrangement in Fig. 1; Fig. 3 a schematic perspective rear view of the recording in Fig. 2; Fig. 4 a schematic sectional view of the connection arrangement in Fig. 1.

[0064] Identical or functionally equivalent elements are provided with the same reference numerals in all figures.

[0065] Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of a connecting arrangement designated as a whole by 100 according to an embodiment according to the disclosure.

[0066] This connection arrangement 100 comprises a receptacle 102 and a plug-in element 104, wherein the plug-in element 104 can be inserted into a passage 106 provided on the receptacle 102 to form the connection arrangement 100.

[0067] Fig. 1 shows the receptacle 102 and the male element 104 in a mated configuration.

[0068] By means of the receptacle 102 and the insertion element 104 inserted into the passage 106, both a detachable and a non-detachable connection arrangement 100 can be formed.

[0069] The plug-in element 104 is preferably provided to fasten another component not shown in detail, for example a cable, hose, cable harness or the like, to the receptacle 102.

[0070] A fastening element 108, for example a projection, an eyelet, a plug-in and / or snap-in connector, a clip connector, a cable tie or the like, can be provided on the plug-in element 104 at a head-side end in order to fasten the other component to the receptacle 102.

[0071] The insertion element 104 comprises an insertion shaft 110 which can be inserted into the passage 106 of the receptacle 102.

[0072] A plurality of locking elements 112 are formed on the insertion shaft 110 of the insertion element 104, which lock onto the receptacle 102 to form the connection arrangement 100 when the insertion element 104 is inserted into the passage 106 of the receptacle 102.

[0073] Preferably, the plurality of locking elements 112 are designed as locking wings

[0074] In particular, the plurality of locking elements 112 can form a Christmas tree profile for locking to the receptacle 102.

[0075] The locking elements 112 are preferably designed to enable insertion of the insertion shaft 110 of the insertion element 104 in an insertion direction E of the passage 106 of the receptacle 102 and to prevent detachment of the insertion element 104 from the receptacle 102 opposite to the insertion direction E.

[0076] The receptacle 102 is essentially formed by a base portion 114 and a receptacle portion 116 extending transversely to the base portion 114, as shown in Fig. 2 is shown.

[0077] It is preferably provided that the receptacle 102, ie the base section 114 and the receptacle section 116, is formed as an integrally designed injection-molded part.

[0078] It can also be provided that the receptacle 102, ie the base section 114 and the receiving section 116, are formed as an integral molded part.

[0079] The receptacle 102 can advantageously be made of a plastic, preferably of a thermoplastic.

[0080] The base section 114 of the receptacle 102 preferably forms a wall 118 of an injection-molded component not shown in detail.

[0081] This injection-molded component can be, for example, a housing, a hood, a tub, a cockpit cross member or the like for a motor vehicle.

[0082] Particularly preferably, the injection-molded component forms a valve cover for an internal combustion engine, an oil pan or the cockpit cross member.

[0083] The receptacle 102 forms a part of this injection-molded component, wherein the base section 114 of the receptacle 102 forms a partial wall 118 of the injection-molded component and the receptacle section 116 protrudes from this wall 118.

[0084] The base section 114 of the receptacle 102 can thus form an integral part of the injection-molded component as the wall 118 of the injection-molded component.

[0085] The receiving portion 116 extends in particular at an angle, ie transversely, to the base portion 114.

[0086] In other words, the receiving portion 116 extends away from the base portion 114 at an angle different from 0° and 180°.

[0087] For example, the receiving section 116 is oriented at an angle between 10° and 170° or between 45° and 135° or at an angle of 90° + / - 30° to the base section 114.

[0088] A groove 120 is provided in the receiving portion 116, through which the passage 106 is formed.

[0089] The groove 120 extends linearly in the receiving portion 116 and runs through the wall 118 of the base portion 114.

[0090] Preferably, the groove 120 extends orthogonally to the base portion 114 into the receiving portion 116.

[0091] In particular, the groove 120 in the receiving portion 116 forms an opening through which the passage 106 is formed from a plug-in front side 122 of the receiving portion 116 to a rear side 124 of the receiving portion 116.

[0092] The groove 120 is delimited by an inner wall portion 126 which is defined by a wall thickness of the receiving portion 116.

[0093] An end portion 128 of the groove 120 opposite the base portion 114 is configured in a semicircular shape.

[0094] Alternatively, the end section 128 of the groove 120 can also be oval or square.

[0095] In Fig. 3 shows a schematic perspective rear view of the receptacle 102.

[0096] A projection 130 is formed on the rear side 124 of the receiving portion 116, which projection extends from the base portion 114 on the rear side 124 of the receiving portion 116.

[0097] In particular, the projection 130 is provided on the rear side 124 of the receiving portion 116 corresponding to the groove 120.

[0098] The projection 130 advantageously extends over the end section 128 of the groove 120, wherein the passage 106 is formed through the projection 130.

[0099] The projection 130 is formed integrally with the receptacle 102.

[0100] Preferably, the projection 130 has a width that is greater than a width of the groove 120 formed in the receiving portion 116.

[0101] In this way, the projection 130 is designed such that it partially covers the groove 120 towards the rear side 124 of the receiving portion 116 in the width direction.

[0102] Advantageously, the projection 130 is designed such that a central portion of the projection 130 covers the groove 120 toward the rear side 124 and the lateral portions of the projection 130 are designed integrally with the receiving portion 116 and the base portion 114.

[0103] As in Fig. 3, the projection 130 extends on the rear side 124 of the receiving portion 116 beyond the end portion 128 of the groove 120, wherein the passage 106 is formed through the projection 130 in the insertion direction E of the male element 104.

[0104] In this embodiment of the receptacle 102, the passage 106 is defined in sections by the inner wall section 126 of the groove 120 and in sections by a wall section 132 of the projection 130, which is formed due to the passage 106 extending through the projection 130.

[0105] This wall section 132 of the projection 130, which partially delimits the passage 106, is defined by a height of the projection 130 relative to the rear side 124 of the receiving section 116.

[0106] The wall section 132 of the projection 130 is semicircular in shape corresponding to the semicircular configuration of the end section 128 of the groove 120.

[0107] By such a semicircular design of the end section 128 of the groove 120 and the wall section 132 of the projection 130, the passage 106 can be formed with a slot-shaped passage cross-section, as shown in the Fig. 1 to 4.

[0108] Depending on the distance between the end portion 128 of the groove 120 and the wall portion 132 of the projection 130, the passage 106 can alternatively also be formed with a hole-shaped, ie round, passage cross-section.

[0109] If the end portion 128 of the groove 120 and the wall portion 132 of the projection 130 have a square or oval configuration, the passage 106 can also form a rectangular or oval passage cross-section.

[0110] In particular, the passage cross-section of the passage 106 is adapted to a cross-sectional shape of the insertion shaft 110 of the insertion element 106.

[0111] The projection 130 is particularly preferably formed as a bevel 134 which extends from the base portion 114 in the direction of the end portion 128 of the groove 120, sloping down on the rear side 124 of the receiving portion 116.

[0112] This draft angle 134 can also be referred to as a demoulding angle, since it enables easy removal from the injection moulding tool, particularly when the receptacle 102 is formed as an injection moulded part.

[0113] The draft angle 134 preferably has a pitch angle at which the draft angle 134 merges into the receiving section 116 at an end of the draft angle 134 opposite the base section 114.

[0114] Alternatively, the draft angle 134 may also have a pitch angle at which the draft angle 134 forms a shoulder or step towards the receiving section 116 at the end of the draft angle 134 opposite the base section 114.

[0115] A shoulder 136 is formed on the draft 134.

[0116] Preferably, the shoulder 136 formed on the draft angle 134 is formed transversely to the direction of extension of the draft angle 134 and / or transversely to the direction of extension of the groove 120.

[0117] In particular, the shoulder 136 formed on the mold slope 134 is assigned to the passage 106, so that the shoulder 136 provides two locking sections 138 on the mold slope 134.

[0118] These locking sections 138 form surfaces on the rear side 124 of the receiving section 116 which can be engaged behind by the locking elements 112 of the plug-in element 104.

[0119] In particular, the locking sections 138 formed by the shoulder 136 are arranged in different planes with respect to the insertion direction E or with respect to the rear side 124 of the receiving section 116.

[0120] The shoulder 136 on the mold slope 134 is arranged such that the shoulder 134 is associated with the passage 106. As a result, the locking sections 138 formed by the shoulder 136 are arranged adjacent to the passage 106.

[0121] Fig. 4 shows a schematic sectional view of the connection arrangement 100 in Fig. 1.

[0122] This illustration illustrates how the locking elements 112 of the plug-in element 104 inserted into the passage 106 lock onto the locking sections 138 formed by the shoulder 136 in different planes.

[0123] In particular, since the locking elements 112 are designed as a plurality of locking wings along the insertion shaft 110 of the insertion element 104, these locking elements 112 are also provided in different planes along the insertion shaft 110.

[0124] As a result, when inserting the insertion element 104 into the passage 106 in the insertion direction E, it is provided that these can latch onto the latching sections 138 of the bevel 134, which are also arranged in different planes corresponding thereto.

[0125] In particular, since the plurality of locking elements 112 are designed as a fir tree profile, they enable locking on the locking sections 138 of the bevel 134 arranged in different planes in the insertion direction E.

[0126] A release of the plug-in element 104 from the receptacle 102 opposite to the insertion direction E can be prevented by the locking elements 112 locking onto the locking sections 138 of the bevel 134.
