Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to an air-water heat pump with a heat exchanger which is arranged in a heat exchanger receiving recess of the heat pump in such a way that two opposite end fins of the heat exchanger come to rest on two wall parts of the heat exchanger receiving recess.
[0002] Air-to-water heat pumps typically include a finned tube heat exchanger, which acts as an evaporator for the cooling circuit during normal heating operation. Depending on its size, the evaporator's weight can be high and must be adequately supported. Currently, the evaporator is placed more or less loosely on a base plate in a heat exchanger recess defined by wall panels of the heat pump, and is laterally supported by the heat pump's wall panels, which are usually made of expanded polystyrene (EPS). This does not guarantee that the heat exchanger will permanently maintain a well-defined, stable position.
[0003] There is therefore a need for a defined, stable positioning of the heat exchanger in the air-water heat pump.
[0004] The invention is therefore based on the object of positioning the heat exchanger in a defined and stable manner in the air-water heat pump.
[0005] This object is achieved by the subject matter of claim 1. The dependent claims relate to expedient and inventive developments of this invention.
[0006] The invention accordingly provides an air-water heat pump with a heat exchanger which is arranged in a heat exchanger receiving recess of the heat pump in such a way that two opposing end fins of the heat exchanger come to rest on two wall parts of the heat exchanger receiving recess, wherein holding means for the heat exchanger are provided on the wall parts and complementary holding means for holding the heat exchanger on the wall parts of the heat exchanger receiving recess of the heat pump are provided on its two end fins.
[0007] In other words, the invention provides for the evaporator to be secured to wall sections of the heat exchanger receiving recess of the air-to-water heat pump by a special bracket, instead of merely placing the evaporator on a sheet metal panel, supported laterally by these wall sections, as in the prior art. This achieves a permanently stable positioning of the evaporator in the air-to-water heat pump.
[0008] Advantageously, the holding means comprise, on the one hand, hooks arranged one above the other and, on the other hand, recesses arranged one above the other for receiving the hooks such that the heat exchanger can be inserted between the wall parts with the hooks engaging in the recesses. This allows for a stable final installation of the heat exchanger in the designated heat exchanger receiving recess of the air-to-water heat pump by precisely inserting the holding means of the heat exchanger into the holding means of the wall parts. This also allows the heat exchanger to be arranged at a distance above the bottom of the heat exchanger receiving recess of the air-to-water heat pump, so that space remains between the bottom of the heat exchanger receiving space and the underside of the heat exchanger for, for example, cabling or hoses of the air-to-water heat pump.
[0009] To facilitate the installation of the heat exchanger in the heat exchanger recess provided for it in the air-water heat pump, the recesses for receiving the hooks are rectangular.
[0010] In the case of wall sections of the heat exchanger mounting recess of the air-to-water heat pump made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), the mounting plates are glued to the wall sections, with inspection holes provided in the mounting plates for checking the bonding. This allows for precise, permanent positioning of the mounting plates on the wall sections, given the availability of adhesives that ensure a permanent bond.
[0011] The wall sections of the heat exchanger receiving space preferably each have a roof-shaped or V-shaped cross-section projection for receiving the mounting plate, which conforms to the roof-shaped or V-shaped cross-section. This measure promotes the permanent, stable attachment of the mounting plates to the wall sections of the heat exchanger receiving space of the air-to-water heat pump. Furthermore, a universally applicable mounting part for the mounting means on both end fins of the heat exchanger is provided if the respective mounting plate is provided with hooks or recesses on both roof sides or on both V-shaped legs of the mounting plate.
[0012] Preferably, the heat exchanger's mounting means are formed integrally with its sheet metal end fins. Alternatively, the heat exchanger's mounting means comprise a mounting plate that is firmly connected to its sheet metal end fins.
[0013] The invention is explained in further detail using the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing figures. They show: Fig. 1 an embodiment of the suspension of the heat exchanger of an air-water heat pump in its receiving space for receiving the heat exchanger, Fig. 2 the heat exchanger receiving recess for receiving the heat exchanger from Fig. 1 without the heat exchanger with the heat exchanger mounting means provided on the wall parts of the air-water heat pump, Fig. 3 a view of a mounting means in the form of a mounting plate provided on the wall parts of the heat exchanger receiving recess of the air-water heat pump, and Fig. 4 a view of the heat exchanger with the support means provided on its end fins.
[0014] Identical and structurally identical parts are provided with identical reference numbers. The figures may contain simplified or schematic representations. Different views of identical parts may be scaled differently.
[0015] In the Fig. 1 shows a heat exchanger receiving recess 10 of an air-water heat pump. The recess 10 comprises two wall parts 11 and 12 made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and a base (not shown). A Fig. 4 a heat exchanger 13 is arranged, shown separately and in detail, the finned tube body 14 of which is laterally delimited by two end fins 15 and 16 made of profiled sheet metal, which hold connections (not shown) for the supply and discharge of water, pipe bends 17 for connecting the fins of the finned tube body 14 and control cables 18.
[0016] The two end fins 15 and 16 form mounting means A and B for the heat exchanger 13 with rectangular recesses, with five recesses 18 to 22 provided in the end fin 15 and four recesses 23 to 26 in the end fin 16. The recesses 19 to 22 and 23 to 26 of the two end fins 15 and 16 are provided in sections 28 and 29 of the sheet metal profiles of the end fins 15, 16, evenly spaced from one another, arranged one above the other, each lying in the same plane.
[0017] On the inner sides of the wall parts 11 and 12 there are also holding means C and D for the heat exchanger 13, which are complementary to its holding means in the form of recesses at the same distance as these from each other, lying one above the other in the form of hooks arranged one above the other on a holding plate 30 of these holding means and are glued to the respective wall part 11, 12 of the heat exchanger receiving recess 10.
[0018] As from Fig. 2, a roof-shaped or, in cross-section, V-shaped, vertically extending projection 31 is integrally formed on the wall part 11, to which the retaining plate 30, which conforms to the projection 31, is attached by adhesive over its entire surface. The wall part 12 is formed in the same way with a projection 32, to which a retaining plate (not shown) is adhesively bonded and designed to complement the projection 32. As can be seen from Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the support plate 30 comprises on each of its two V-legs 30a and 30b hooks 33-37 and 38-41, which are provided on the support plate 30 at the same mutual distance one above the other as the recesses 19-22 and 23-26 in sections 28, 29 of the end lamellas 15 and 16. Between the recesses, inspection holes are formed for checking the bonding in the sections 28, 29, of which in Fig. 3 a viewing hole is designated 27. Mounted on their respective projections 31 and 32 by adhesive bonding, the V-leg 30a of the projection 31 lies in the same plane as the V-leg 30b of the projection 32, and the sheet metal profile sections 28, 29 of the end fins 16, 16 of the heat exchanger also lie in this plane.
[0019] The hooks 33-37 and 38-41 are oriented with their free ends facing upwards. When the heat exchanger 13 is inserted with its underside from above into the heat exchanger receiving recess 10, the recesses 19-22 of its end fin 15 are positioned opposite the hook 33-37 of the retaining plate 30 on the projection 31 of the wall part 11, and simultaneously, the recesses 23-26 of their end fin 16 are positioned opposite the hooks 38-41 of the retaining plate (not shown in the figures) on the projection 32 of the wall part 12. As the heat exchanger 13 continues its downward movement, the hooks 33-37 and 38-41 finally assume their final position, resting against the lower edge of the recesses 19-22 and 23-26.
[0020] In this final position of the hooks in their recesses, the heat exchanger 13 is stably fixed in its position in the heat exchanger receiving recess 10 (if necessary at a distance above its bottom), from which it can be removed, i.e. pulled out, for example, for maintenance purposes.
