BACKGROUNDTechnical field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a shielding member, a connector having a shielding member, an electronic component having a shield, a shield, and a shielding structure. State of the art

[0002] Japanese Patent Application Publication (JP-A) Nos. 2021-096933 and 2018-186056 disclose a connector with a shielding element. BRIEF SUMMARY

[0003] An object to be achieved by a first aspect of the disclosure is to suppress the generation of a gap in a first direction between a contact target and a shielding member or the increase of the gap due to a deviation in a distance in the first direction between a fixing target and the contact target.

[0004] A problem to be solved by a second aspect of the disclosure is to simplify a structure of the shielding element.

[0005] A problem to be solved by a third aspect of the disclosure is to realize an inexpensive connector with a shielding element. (First aspect)

[0006] A shielding member according to aspect 1-1 is a shielding member for shielding a shielding target, wherein the shielding member has a base portion that does not shift with respect to a mounting target; and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable with respect to the base portion, wherein the movable shielding portion has a contact portion configured to come into contact with a contact target by bringing the contact target and the shielding member close to each other in a first direction, wherein the contact portion of the movable shielding portion is configured to generate contact pressure in the first direction upon contact with the contact target, and wherein the movable shielding portion is configured to be shifted in the first direction when the contact portion is pressed in the first direction by the contact target.

[0007] The present aspect relates to a shielding element for shielding a shielding target.

[0008] In the present aspect, the shielding member includes a base portion that does not shift with respect to a mounting target and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable with respect to the base portion.

[0009] Therefore, the shielding target can be shielded by the movable shielding portion which is displaceable with respect to the fixing target.

[0010] In the present aspect, the movable shield portion includes a contact portion configured to come into contact with a contact target by bringing the contact target and the shielding element close to each other in a first direction. The contact portion of the movable shield portion is configured such that contact pressure is generated in the first direction upon contact with the contact target. The movable shield portion is configured to be displaced in the first direction when the contact portion is pressed in the first direction by the contact target.

[0011] Therefore, it is possible to suppress the generation of a gap in the first direction between the contact target and the shielding member or the increase of the gap due to a deviation in a distance in the first direction between the fixing target and the contact target.

[0012] The attachment target means a target to which the shielding member is to be attached. In the embodiments described later, the attachment target is a substrate, but the attachment target of the present aspect is not limited to this. In the embodiments described later, the shielding member is directly attached to the attachment target (substrate) at the connecting portion. However, in a case where "the shielding member is attached to the attachment target," a case where the shielding member is indirectly attached to the attachment target via a member other than the shielding member (for example, a housing of the connector) is also included.

[0013] The contact target refers to a target with which the shielding member comes into contact. In the embodiments described later, the contact target is a mating substrate (second substrate) or a mating shielding member (second shielding member), but the contact target of the present aspect is not limited thereto. The contact target of the present aspect may be, for example, another component attached to the mating substrate, such as a housing included in the mating connector or a ground terminal included in the mating connector.

[0014] In the embodiments described later, the contact portion of the movable shield portion comes into contact with the contact target, thereby electrically connecting the shield member and the contact target, but the present aspect is not limited to this.

[0015] In the embodiments described later, the shielding member is fixed to the fixing target, thereby electrically connecting the shielding member and the fixing target, but the present aspect is not limited thereto.

[0016] In the embodiments described later, the first direction is a direction perpendicular to a plane of the attachment target, but the first direction of the present aspect is not limited thereto.

[0017] In the embodiments described later, the shielding member is formed by subjecting a plate material to punching, bending, or the like, but the shielding member of the present aspect is not limited thereto.

[0018] In the embodiments described later, the movable shielding portion does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target, but the movable shielding portion of the present aspect is not limited thereto.

[0019] In the embodiments described later, the movable shield portion is configured to be displaceable only in the first direction relative to the base portion, but the movable shield portion of the present aspect is not limited thereto. The movable shield portion of the present aspect may also be displaceable in a direction other than the first direction.

[0020] In aspect 1-1, in a shielding member according to aspect 1-2, the contact portion has a convex shape to come into point contact with the contact target.

[0021] In the present aspect, the contact portion has a convex shape to make point contact with the contact target.

[0022] Therefore, it is compatible with a flat contact section of the contact target.

[0023] In aspect 1-1 or 1-2, in a shielding member according to any aspect 1-3, the movable shielding portion does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target.

[0024] In the present aspect, the movable shielding portion does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target.

[0025] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing the shielding target on the movable shielding section. This can simplify the structure of the shielding element.

[0026] In the embodiments described later, the movable shield portion does not have a portion that physically engages the shielding target, but the movable shield portion of the present aspect is not limited thereto. The movable shield portion of the present aspect may have a portion that physically engages the shielding target, as long as the movable shield portion does not have a portion that is fixed to the shielding target. The case where the movable shield portion has a portion that physically engages the shielding target is, for example, a case where the movable shield portion is in slidable contact with the shielding target.

[0027] In any one of aspects 1-1 to 1-3, in a shielding member according to any one of aspects 1-4, the movable shielding portion does not have a portion that physically engages the shielding target.

[0028] In the present aspect, the movable shielding portion does not include a portion that physically engages the shielding target.

[0029] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for physical engagement with the shielding target on the movable shielding section. This allows the structure of the shielding element to be simplified.

[0030] In any one of aspects 1-1 to 1-4, in a shielding member according to any one of aspects 1-5, the shielding member does not have a portion attached to the shielding target.

[0031] In the present aspect, the shielding member does not have a portion attached to the shielding target.

[0032] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing the shielding element to the shielding target. This allows the structure of the shielding element to be simplified.

[0033] By eliminating the need to provide a structure for fixing the shielding target to the shielding element, it becomes easy to match a variety of shielding target types with one type of shielding element. That is, even if the size or shape of the shielding target changes, it is easy to shield with the shielding element having the same structure.

[0034] In any one of aspects 1-1 to 1-5, in a shielding member according to any one of aspects 1-6, the movable shielding portion has no portion fixed to the shielding target, and the base portion has a portion fixed to the shielding target.

[0035] In the present aspect, the movable shielding portion does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target.

[0036] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing to the shielding target on the movable shielding section.

[0037] In the present aspect, the base portion includes a portion attached to the shielding target.

[0038] Therefore, the shielding target and the shielding element can be handled integrally.

[0039] In any one of aspects 1-1 to 1-6, in a shielding member according to any one of aspects 1-7, the base portion has a fixed shielding portion that shields the shielding target.

[0040] In the present aspect, the base portion has a fixed shielding portion that shields the shielding target.

[0041] Therefore, the shielding target can be shielded by both the fixed shielding portion that does not move with respect to the attachment target and the movable shielding portion that can move with respect to the attachment target.

[0042] In the embodiments described later, the fixed shielding portion has a tubular shape, but the fixed shielding portion of the present aspect is not limited thereto. The fixed shielding portion of the present aspect may have a specific shape for shielding the shielding target. A specific shape for shielding the shielding target is, for example, a plate-shaped portion that covers the shielding target from a specific direction.

[0043] In aspect 1-7, in a shielding member according to any aspect 1-8, the fixed shielding portion has a tubular shape and the movable shielding portion has a tubular shape.

[0044] In the present aspect, the fixed shielding portion has a tubular shape and the movable shielding portion has a tubular shape.

[0045] Therefore, a high shielding performance can be demonstrated.

[0046] As will be apparent from the embodiments described later, the “tubular shape” in the disclosure includes not only a complete tubular shape without a gap in a circumferential direction, but also a shape having some gaps at certain positions in the circumferential direction.

[0047] In any one of aspects 1-1 to 1-8, in a shielding member according to any one of aspects 1-9, the movable shielding portion comprises a plurality of portions that are independently displaceable.

[0048] In the present aspect, the movable shielding portion comprises a plurality of portions that are independently movable.

[0049] Therefore, a favorable contact state between the movable shield portion and the contact target can be realized even if the contact target is inclined with respect to a predetermined state.

[0050] A connector with a shielding member according to any one of aspects 1-10 is a connector with a shielding member that is attachable to a mounting target that is a substrate and that is connectable to a mating connector in a first direction, the connector comprising: a shielding target that is a connector, and a shielding member, the connector having a terminal, the terminal having a contact portion that comes into contact with a terminal of the mating connector, the shielding member having a base portion that does not shift with respect to the mounting target, and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable with respect to the base portion, the movable shielding portion having a contact portion configured to come into contact with a contact target,by bringing the contact target and the shielding element close to each other in a first direction, wherein the contact portion of the movable shielding portion is designed such that contact pressure in the first direction is generated by contact with the contact target, wherein the contact target is a mating substrate serving as a mating attachment target to which the mating connector is attached, a mating shielding element attached to the mating substrate, or another element attached to the mating substrate, and wherein the movable shielding portion is designed to be displaced in the first direction when the contact portion is pressed in the first direction by the contact target.

[0051] The present aspect relates to a connector having a shielding element that is attachable to a mounting target that is a substrate and that is connectable to a mating connector in a first direction.

[0052] In the present aspect, the shielding member includes a base portion that does not shift with respect to a mounting target and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable with respect to the base portion.

[0053] Therefore, the shielding target can be shielded by the movable shielding portion which is displaceable with respect to the fixing target.

[0054] In the present aspect, the movable shield portion includes a contact portion configured to come into contact with a contact target by bringing the contact target and the shielding element close to each other in a first direction. The contact portion of the movable shield portion is configured such that contact pressure is generated in the first direction upon contact with the contact target. The movable shield portion is configured to be displaced in the first direction when the contact portion is pressed in the first direction by the contact target.

[0055] Therefore, it is possible to suppress the generation of a gap in the first direction between the contact target and the shielding member or the increase of the gap due to a deviation in a distance in the first direction between the fixing target and the contact target.

[0056] The "other member attached to the mating substrate" of the present aspect is, for example, a housing included in the mating connector or a ground terminal included in a mating connector, but this also includes other members that are neither a mating shielding member nor a mating connector.

[0057] In aspect 1-10, in a connector having a shielding member according to any aspect 1-11, the contact portion of the movable shielding portion has a convex shape to come into point contact with the contact target.

[0058] In the present aspect, the contact portion of the movable shield portion has a convex shape to make point contact with the contact target.

[0059] Therefore, it is compatible with a flat contact section of the contact target.

[0060] In aspect 1-10 or 1-11, in a connector having a shielding member according to any aspect 1-12, the contact portion of the terminal of the connector is configured such that contact pressure is generated in a direction in a plane perpendicular to the first direction by contact with the terminal of the mating connector.

[0061] It is assumed that the contact portion of the terminal of the connector is designed such that contact pressure is generated in the first direction upon contact with the terminal of the mating connector. In this case, to ensure a stable electrical connection, it is necessary to continuously press the connector and the mating connector firmly in the first direction, and both substrates (the substrate and the mating substrate) are easily bent together by pressing the movable shield portion and the contact target in the first direction.

[0062] Therefore, in the present aspect, the contact portion of the terminal of the connector is designed such that contact pressure is generated in a direction in a plane perpendicular to the first direction by contact with the terminal of the mating connector.

[0063] Therefore, bending of both substrates (the substrate and the mating substrate) can be suppressed.

[0064] In the embodiments described later, a large number of terminals are provided. In this case, the effects described above are particularly important. However, the terminal of the present aspect is not limited to this.

[0065] An electronic component with a shield according to any one of aspects 1-13 is an electronic component with a shield, wherein the electronic component with a shield comprises: a shielding target which is the electronic component, and a shield for shielding the shielding target, wherein the electronic component has a first connector attached to a first attachment target and a second connector attached to a second attachment target, and wherein the shield has a first shielding member attached to the first attachment target, wherein the first shielding member has a base portion which does not shift with respect to the first attachment target and a movable shielding portion which is shiftable with respect to the base portion, wherein the movable shielding portion has a contact portion configured to contact a contact target, which is the second attachment target, by bringing the contact target and the first shielding element close to each other in a first direction, wherein the contact portion of the movable shielding portion is designed such that contact pressure in the first direction is generated by contact with the contact target, and wherein the movable shielding portion is designed to be displaced in the first direction when the contact portion is pressed in the first direction by the contact target.

[0066] An electronic component with a shield according to any one of aspects 1-14 is an electronic component with a shield, wherein the electronic component with a shield comprises: a shielding target which is the electronic component, and a shield for shielding the shielding target, wherein the electronic component has a first connector attached to a first attachment target and a second connector attached to a second attachment target, wherein the shield has a first shielding member attached to the first attachment target and a second shielding member attached to the second attachment target, wherein the first shielding member has a base portion which does not shift with respect to the first attachment target and a movable shielding portion which is shiftable with respect to the base portion, wherein the movable shielding portion has a contact portion configured to come into contact with a contact target, which is the second shielding element, by bringing the contact target and the first shielding element close to each other in a first direction, wherein the contact portion of the movable shielding portion is configured to generate contact pressure in the first direction upon contact with the contact target, and wherein the movable shielding portion is configured to be displaced in the first direction when the contact portion is pressed in the first direction by the contact target. (Second aspect)

[0067] A shielding member according to aspect 2-1 is a shielding member for shielding a shielding target, the shielding member comprising: a base portion that does not slide relative to a mounting target; and a movable shielding portion that slides relative to the base portion, the movable shielding portion not including a portion that is fixed to the shielding target.

[0068] The present aspect relates to a shielding element for shielding a shielding target.

[0069] In the present aspect, the shielding member includes a base portion that does not shift with respect to a mounting target and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable with respect to the base portion.

[0070] Therefore, the shielding target can be shielded by the movable shielding portion which is displaceable with respect to the fixing target.

[0071] In the present aspect, the movable shielding portion does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target.

[0072] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing the shielding target on the movable shielding section. This can simplify the structure of the shielding element.

[0073] The attachment target refers to a target to which the shielding member is to be attached. In the embodiments described later, the attachment target is a substrate, but the attachment target of the present aspect is not limited thereto.

[0074] In the embodiments described later, the shielding member is fixed to the fixing target, thereby electrically connecting the shielding member and the fixing target, but the present aspect is not limited thereto.

[0075] In the embodiments described later, the first direction is a direction perpendicular to a plane of the attachment target, but the first direction of the present aspect is not limited thereto.

[0076] In the embodiments described later, the shielding member is formed by subjecting a plate material to punching, bending, or the like, but the shielding member of the present aspect is not limited thereto.

[0077] In the embodiments described later, the movable shield portion includes a contact portion configured to come into contact with the contact target, the contact portion configured to generate contact pressure in the first direction upon contact with the contact target, and the movable shield portion configured to be displaced in the first direction when the contact portion is pressed in the first direction by the contact target. However, the present aspect is not limited thereto. For example, the movable shield portion of the present aspect is not necessarily displaceable in the first direction. In this case, the movable shield portion may be displaceable in any direction in a plane perpendicular to the first direction, or it may be displaceable in only a predetermined direction in a plane perpendicular to the first direction.

[0078] In aspect 2-1, in a shielding member according to aspect 2-2, the movable shielding portion does not have a portion that physically engages with the shielding target.

[0079] In the present aspect, the movable shielding portion does not include a portion that physically engages the shielding target.

[0080] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for physical engagement with the shielding target on the movable shielding section. This allows the structure of the shielding element to be simplified.

[0081] In aspect 2-1 or 2-2, in a shielding member according to aspect 2-3, the base portion does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target.

[0082] In the present aspect, the base portion does not have a portion attached to the shielding target.

[0083] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing to the shielding target on the base section.

[0084] In any one of aspects 2-1 to 2-3, in a shielding member according to an aspect 2-4, the shielding member does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target.

[0085] In the present aspect, the shielding member does not have a portion attached to the shielding target.

[0086] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing to the shielding target on the shield.

[0087] In aspect 2-1 or 2-2, in a shielding member according to aspect 2-5, the base portion has a portion fixed to the shielding target.

[0088] In the present aspect, the base portion includes a portion attached to the shielding target.

[0089] Therefore, the shielding and the shielding target can be handled integrally.

[0090] In any one of aspects 2-1 to 2-5, in a shielding member according to any aspect 2-6, the base portion has a fixed shielding portion that shields the shielding target.

[0091] In the present aspect, the base portion has a fixed shielding portion that shields the shielding target.

[0092] Therefore, the shielding target can be shielded by both the fixed shielding portion that does not move with respect to the attachment target and the movable shielding portion that can move with respect to the attachment target.

[0093] In aspect 2-6, in a shielding member according to any aspect 2-7, the fixed shielding portion has a tubular shape and the movable shielding portion has a tubular shape.

[0094] In the present aspect, the fixed shielding portion has a tubular shape and the movable shielding portion has a tubular shape.

[0095] Therefore, a high shielding performance can be demonstrated.

[0096] In aspect 2-7, in a shielding member according to any aspect 2-8, a part of the fixed shielding portion or the movable shielding portion is disposed inside the other.

[0097] In the present aspect, a part of the fixed shielding portion or the movable shielding portion is disposed inside the other.

[0098] Therefore, the generation of a gap (gap in an axial direction of a cylinder) between the tubular fixed shielding portion and the tubular movable shielding portion can be suppressed.

[0099] A connector with a shielding member according to any one of aspects 2-9 is a connector with a shielding member that is attachable to a mounting target that is a substrate and that is connectable to a mating connector in a first direction, the connector comprising: a shielding target that is a connector, and a shielding member, the connector having a movable housing that is displaceable with respect to the mounting target, the shielding member having a base portion that does not displace with respect to the mounting target and a movable shielding portion that is displaceable with respect to the base portion, and the movable shielding portion not having a portion that is attached to the shielding target.

[0100] The present aspect relates to a connector having a shielding element that is attachable to a mounting target that is a substrate and that is connectable to a mating connector in a first direction.

[0101] In the present aspect, the connector with a shielding member includes a shielding target which is a connector and a shielding member.

[0102] The shielding member includes a base portion that does not shift relative to a mounting target and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable relative to the base portion.

[0103] Therefore, the shielding target can be shielded by the movable shielding portion which is displaceable with respect to the fixing target.

[0104] In the present aspect, the connector includes a movable housing that is slidable with respect to the attachment target, but the movable shielding portion does not include a portion that is attached to the shielding target.

[0105] Therefore, compared to an aspect in which the movable shielding portion is fixed to the movable housing of the connector, for example, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing the movable shielding portion to the movable housing. This allows the structure of the shielding member to be simplified.

[0106] In the embodiments described later, the movable housing is slidable in any of an X direction, a Y direction, a Z direction, and directions oblique to these directions, but the movable housing of the present aspect is not limited thereto. For example, the movable housing of the present aspect is not necessarily slidable in the Z direction. In this case, the movable shield portion may be slidable in any direction in a plane perpendicular to the Z direction, or it may be slidable in only a predetermined direction in a plane perpendicular to the Z direction. Here, the Z direction is, for example, a connection direction with the mating connector.

[0107] In aspect 2-9, in a connector having a shielding member according to any aspect 2-10, the movable shielding portion does not have a portion that physically engages the shielding target.

[0108] In the present aspect, the movable shielding portion does not include a portion that physically engages the shielding target.

[0109] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for physical engagement with the shielding target on the movable shielding section. This allows the structure of the shielding element to be simplified.

[0110] In aspect 2-9 or 2-10, in a connector having a shielding member according to aspect 2-11, the base portion has a portion that is fixed to the shielding target.

[0111] In the present aspect, the base portion includes a portion attached to the shielding target.

[0112] Therefore, the shielding target and the shielding element can be handled integrally. (Third aspect)

[0113] A connector group with a shielding member according to aspect 3-1 includes a connector group having a plurality of types of connectors; and a shielding member configured to receive any one of the connectors selected from the connector group.

[0114] Conventionally, the shielding element in a connector is incompatible with a shielding element comprising a shielding element and a connector (see, for example, Japanese Patent Application Publication (JP-A) No. 2018-186056). Therefore, it is necessary to design the shielding element for each type of connector.

[0115] In the present aspect, the connector assembly with a shielding element comprises a connector assembly and a shielding element. The connector assembly comprises a plurality of connector types. The shielding element is configured to receive any connector selected from the connector assembly.

[0116] Therefore, it is not necessary to design the shielding element for each type of connector. This allows for the creation of a cost-effective connector with a single shielding element.

[0117] In aspect 3-1, a connector group having a shielding member according to aspect 3-2 comprises another connector group having a plurality of types of connectors; and another shielding member configured to receive any one of the other connector groups.

[0118] In aspect 3-1 or 3-2, in a connector group having a shielding member according to aspect 3-3, the shielding member does not have a portion fixed to the connector.

[0119] Meanwhile, in a case where the shielding member has a portion to be fixed to the connector, it is necessary to provide a common fixing portion (a portion for fixing the shielding member) in all the connectors belonging to the connector group.

[0120] Therefore, in the present aspect, the shielding member does not have a portion that is attached to the connector.

[0121] This therefore eliminates the need for the above and it is possible to realize a cheaper connector with a shielding element.

[0122] In any one of aspects 3-1 to 3-3, in a connector group having a shielding member according to an aspect 3-4, the shielding member does not have a portion fixed to the connector.

[0123] According to the present aspect, the connector and the shield can be handled integrally. Therefore, in a method (attachment method) for manufacturing an attachment structure of the connector with a shielding member, a step of arranging the connector with a shielding member at the attachment target is simplified.

[0124] In any one of aspects 3-1 to 3-4, in a connector assembly having a shielding member according to any aspect 3-5, the shielding member includes a base portion that does not shift relative to a fixing target and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable relative to the base portion.

[0125] In any one of aspects 3-1 to 3-5, in a connector assembly having a shielding member according to any aspect 3-6, the connector assembly includes a connector having a movable housing.

[0126] In any one of aspects 3-1 to 3-5, in a connector assembly having a shielding member according to any aspect 3-7, the shielding member does not have a portion fixed to the connector, and the connector assembly includes a connector having a movable housing.

[0127] In any one of aspects 3-1 to 3-5, in a connector group having a shielding member according to any aspect 3-8, the shielding member includes a base portion that does not shift with respect to a fixing target and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable with respect to the base portion, the base portion including a portion that is fixed to the connector, the movable shielding portion including no portion that is fixed to the connector, and the connector group includes a connector having a movable housing.

[0128] In any one of aspects 3-1 to 3-5, in a connector group having a shielding member according to any aspect 3-9, the shielding member has a base portion that does not shift with respect to a fixing target and a movable shielding portion that is shiftable with respect to the base portion, the shielding member has no portion that is fixed to the connector, and the connector group has a connector that has a movable housing.

[0129] The term "connector having a movable housing" includes not only a connector in which the movable housing is in a floating state above a terminal, but also a connector in which the movable housing is not in a floating state. The movable housing means a housing designed to be slidable relative to the attachment target of the connector.

[0130] A method of selling a connector with a shielding element according to an aspect 3-10 comprises presenting the connector group with a shielding element according to any one of aspects 3-1 to 3-9.

[0131] The present aspect relates to a method of selling a connector having a shielding element.

[0132] In the present aspect, the method for selling the connector with a shielding member is performed by presenting the connector group with a shielding member according to aspect 3-1 or 3-2.

[0133] Therefore, the connector with a shielding element can be sold inexpensively.

[0134] A method for manufacturing a fastening structure of a connector with a shielding member according to aspect 3-11 (fastening method of a connector with a shielding member) includes a step of selecting and preparing one connector from a connector group including a plurality of types of connectors; a step of preparing a shielding member configured to receive any one connector selected from the connector group; and a step of arranging the one connector and the shielding member at a fastening target such that the shielding member receives the one connector.

[0135] Since the shielding member to be manufactured according to the present aspect is designed to receive any connector selected from the connector group, the step of manufacturing the shielding member is simplified.

[0136] A method for manufacturing a fastening structure of a connector with a shielding member according to aspect 3-12 (fastening method of a connector with a shielding member) includes a step of selecting a connector; a step of preparing a shielding member configured to receive any one connector belonging to a connector group to which the selected one connector belongs; and a step of arranging the one connector and the shielding member at a fastening target such that the one connector is received in the shielding member.

[0137] The “attachment structure of the connector with a shielding member” means a structure in which the connector with a shielding member is attached to an attachment target.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0140] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a shielding member according to the disclosure, a shielding structure including the shielding member, and the like will be described.

[0141] In some cases, a +X direction of an arrow indicated in each drawing may be described as a side in a width direction, a +Y direction of an arrow as a side in a front-back direction, and a +Z direction of an arrow as an upper side in an up-down direction. However, a position of the shielding member or the like in a use state is not subject to any restrictions.

[0142] [First embodiment] Fig. 1 to 7 show a shielding structure 100 and the like according to a first embodiment.

[0143] The shielding structure 100 includes mounting targets 91 and 92, electronic components 11 and 12, and a shield 21.

[0144] In the shielding structure 100, the electronic components 11 and 12 are shielded as "shielding targets" by the shield 21. The electronic components 11 and 12 and the shield 21 are attached to the attachment targets 91 and 92.

[0145] The attachment targets 91 and 92 comprise a first attachment target 91 and a second attachment target 92.

[0146] The first attachment target 91 is a first substrate 91 and the second attachment target 92 is a second substrate 92. The first substrate 91 and the second substrate 92 are arranged to face each other in a thickness direction, aligned in the same direction (Z direction).

[0147] Hereinafter, the first substrate 91 may be simply referred to as a substrate 91 and the second substrate 92 may be simply referred to as a mating substrate 92.

[0148] The electronic components 11 and 12 are a pair of connectors 11 and 12 comprising a first connector 11 and a second connector 12.

[0149] The first connector 11 is fixed to the first fixing target 91, and the second connector 12 is fixed to the second fixing target 92. When the first connector 11 and the second connector 12 are connected to each other, the first substrate 91 and the second substrate 92 are electrically connected to each other (see Fig. 3).

[0150] Hereinafter, the first connector 11 may be simply referred to as a connector 11 and the second connector 12 may be simply referred to as a mating connector 12.

[0151] As it is in Fig. 2, the first connecting piece 11 is a floating connecting piece.

[0152] The first connector 11 includes at least one first terminal 30 and housings 41 and 42 that hold the at least one first terminal 30. The housings 41 and 42 include a fixed housing 41 fixed to the first attachment target 91 and a movable housing 42 movable relative to the fixed housing 41. The movable housing 42 is movable in any of the X direction, the Y direction, the Z direction, and directions oblique to these directions.

[0153] The first terminal 30 has a connecting portion 31 connected to the first attachment target 91 by soldering, and a contact portion 32 that comes into contact with a terminal 50 of the second connector 12. The first terminal 30 is held by the fixed housing 41 and held by the movable housing 42. An elastically deformable portion is formed in the first terminal 30 between a portion held by the fixed housing 41 and a portion held by the movable housing 42. This allows displacement of the movable housing 42.

[0154] The second connector 12 is a connector which is not a floating connector.

[0155] The second connector 12 includes at least one second terminal 50 and a housing 141 that holds the at least one second terminal 50. The housing 141 includes a fixed housing 141 that is attached to the second attachment target 92 and does not include a movable housing that is slidable relative to the second attachment target 92.

[0156] The second terminal 50 has a connecting portion 51 connected to the second mounting target 92 by soldering and a contact portion 52 that comes into contact with the first terminal 30.

[0157] In the example shown in the drawing, the fixed housing 141 has two molded products 141a and 141b which have been molded separately (see Fig. 2).

[0158] Fig. 5 is an exploded perspective view of the first connector 11 and the second connector 12.

[0159] At least one first terminal 30 has a plurality of first signal terminals 30A. The plurality of first signal terminals 30A are configured by arranging a large number of pairs of first signal terminals 30A in the forward-reverse direction.

[0160] At least one second terminal 50 has a plurality of second signal terminals 50A. The plurality of second signal terminals 50A are configured by arranging a large number of pairs of second signal terminals 50A in the forward-reverse direction.

[0161] The contact portion 32 of the pair of first signal terminals 30A comes into contact with the contact portion 52 of the pair of second signal terminals 50A to sandwich the contact portion 52 from the outside in the width direction (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3).

[0162] The contact pressure generated by the contact between the contact portion 32 of the first signal terminal 30A and the contact portion 52 of the second signal terminal 50A is generated in a direction in a plane (XY plane) perpendicular to the direction (Z direction) in which the first attachment target 91 and the second attachment target 92 face each other.

[0163] The at least one first terminal 30 has a plurality of first power supply terminals 30B.

[0164] The at least one second terminal 50 has a plurality of second power supply terminals 50B.

[0165] The plurality of first power supply terminals 30B are arranged in a region on one side in the forward-backward direction and in a region on the other side in the forward-backward direction with respect to a region in which the plurality of first signal terminals 30A are arranged. The same applies to the plurality of second power supply terminals 50B.

[0166] As from Fig. 5 and the like, the contact pressure generated by the contact between the first power supply terminal 30B and the second power supply terminal 50B is generated in a direction in a plane (XY plane) perpendicular to the direction (Z direction) in which the first attachment target 91 and the second attachment target 92 face each other. (Shield 21)

[0167] The shield 21 has only a first shielding element 21.

[0168] Specifically, the first shielding member 21 is formed by subjecting a conductive plate material to punching, bending, or the like.

[0169] The first shielding member 21 has a substantially symmetrical structure in both the front-back direction and the width direction.

[0170] The first shielding member 21 has a tubular shape (specifically, a square tubular shape). The first shielding member 21 accommodates the first connecting piece 11 and the second connecting piece 12 therein (see Fig. 3).

[0171] As it is in Fig. 6 and Fig. As can be seen in Fig. 7, the first shielding element 21 has a base portion 60, a movable shielding portion 70 and at least one elastic support portion 80.

[0172] The base portion 60 is designed not to be displaced relative to the first substrate 91.

[0173] The movable shielding portion 70 is designed to be displaceable relative to the base portion 60.

[0174] The at least one elastic support portion 80 elastically supports the movable shielding portion 70. (Base Section 60)

[0175] The base portion 60 has a fixed shielding portion 61.

[0176] The fixed shielding portion 61 has a tubular shape (specifically, a square tubular shape).

[0177] The fixed shielding portion 61 has two first plate portions 61a and two second plate portions 61b.

[0178] The two first plate portions 61a face each other in the width direction. Specifically, each of the first plate portions 61a has a flat plate shape with a plate thickness direction aligned in the width direction.

[0179] The two second plate portions 61b face each other in the front-back direction. Specifically, each of the second plate portions 61b has a flat plate shape with a plate thickness direction aligned in the front-back direction.

[0180] The base portion 60 has a plurality of connecting portions 62a, 62b and 62c.

[0181] Each of the plurality of connecting portions 62a, 62b, and 62c is connected by soldering to a pad (not shown) formed on a top surface of the first substrate 91. Thus, the shielding member 21 is fixed to the first substrate 91, and the first shielding member 21 and the first substrate 91 are electrically connected to each other.

[0182] The plurality of connecting portions 62a, 62b and 62c includes a plurality of first connecting portions 62a projecting from the first plate portion 61a.

[0183] Each of the first connecting portions 62a has a shape that protrudes downward relative to a lower edge of the first plate portion 61a. A plurality of (four) first connecting portions 62a are formed for each of the first plate portions 61a.

[0184] The plurality of connecting portions 62a, 62b and 62c include a plurality of second connecting portions 62b projecting from the second plate portion 61b.

[0185] Each of the second connecting portions 62b has a shape that protrudes downward relative to a lower edge of the second plate portion 61b. A plurality of (two) second connecting portions 62b are formed for each of the second plate portions 61b.

[0186] A plate width dimension (dimension in the width direction) of the second connecting portion 62b is larger than a plate width dimension (dimension in the front-back direction) of the first connecting portion 62a, and in particular, it is three times or more of the plate width direction of the first connecting portion 62a.

[0187] Since the lower edge of the second plate portion 61b is arranged above the lower edge of the first plate portion 61a in the up-down direction, an up-down dimension of the second connecting portion 62b is larger than an up-down dimension of the first connecting portion 62a.

[0188] The plurality of connecting portions 62a, 62b, and 62c include a plurality of (four) third connecting portions 62c, wherein the plate thickness direction is oriented in the up-down direction.

[0189] The third connecting portion 62c is connected to the first plate portion 61a of the fixed shielding portion 61 via a bent portion.

[0190] Since a plate thickness direction of the third connecting portion 62c is oriented in the up-down direction, a connecting area can be increased compared to the first connecting portion 62a or the second connecting portion 62b, and a fixing strength of the first shielding member 21 can be easily secured.

[0191] Positions of the third connecting portion 62c in the front-back direction are positions corresponding to a front end and a rear end of the first plate portion 61a. This also facilitates securing the fastening strength of the first shielding member 21.

[0192] The fixed shielding portion 61 has a plurality of cutout areas 63.

[0193] The cutout portion 63 is formed in the first plate portion 61a of the fixed shield portion 61. Specifically, each of the two first plate portions 61a has two cutout portions 63.

[0194] The cutout portion 63 is a portion in which a portion near the lower edge of the fixed shield portion 61 is cut out. A position of the cutout portion 63 is a position corresponding to the position where the first power supply terminal 30B of the first connector 11 is arranged. This ensures an appropriate distance between the fixed shield portion 61 and the first power supply terminal 30B.

[0195] The position of the cutout portion 63 is the position adjacent to an inner side of the third connecting portion 62c in the front-back direction. (Movable shielding section 70)

[0196] The movable shielding portion 70 has a tubular shape (specifically, a square tubular shape).

[0197] The movable shielding portion 70 has two first plate portions 71a and two second plate portions 71b.

[0198] The two first plate portions 71a face each other in the width direction. Specifically, each of the first plate portions 71a has a flat plate shape with a plate thickness direction aligned in the width direction.

[0199] The two second plate portions 71b face each other in the front-back direction. Specifically, each of the second plate portions 71b has a flat plate shape with a plate thickness direction oriented in the front-back direction.

[0200] The first plate portion 71a of the movable shield portion 70 is arranged on the outer side of the first plate portion 61a of the fixed shield portion 61 in the width direction.

[0201] The second plate portion 71b of the movable shield portion 70 is arranged on the outside of the second plate portion 61b of the fixed shield portion 61 in the front-backward direction.

[0202] In a state where the movable shielding portion 70 is in an initial position (see Fig. 6 and Fig. 7), a lower end of the movable shielding portion 70 is disposed below a lower end of the fixed shielding portion 61. This prevents the lower end of the movable shielding portion 70 from colliding with the upper end of the fixed shielding portion 61 and bulging. The generation of a gap in the up-down direction between the lower end of the movable shielding portion 70 and the upper end of the fixed shielding portion 61 is prevented.

[0203] The movable shielding portion 70 has a supported portion 72 which is supported by the elastic support portion 80.

[0204] The supported portion 72 has two first portions 72a and two second portions 72b. A curved portion is formed between the first portion 72a and the second portion 72b. Thus, the supported portion 72 has a frame shape.

[0205] An upper end of the first portion 72a is connected to an upper end of the first plate portion 71a by a bent portion. The first plate portion 71a is formed by bending a portion above the first portion 72a outward in the width direction.

[0206] An upper end of the second portion 72b is connected to an upper end of the second plate portion 71b by a bent portion. The second plate portion 71b is formed by bending a portion above the second portion 72b outward in the front-back direction. (Contact section 73)

[0207] The movable shield portion 70 has a plurality of contact portions 73a and 73b.

[0208] Each of the plurality of contact portions 73a and 73b contacts the second substrate 92 as a "connection target." Specifically, each of the plurality of contact portions 73a and 73b contacts a pad (not shown) formed on a bottom surface of the second substrate 92. This electrically connects the first shielding member 21 and the second substrate 92.

[0209] The plurality of contact portions 73a and 73b includes a plurality of first contact portions 73a projecting from the first portion 72a of the supported portion 72. Therefore, the first contact portion 73a is disposed on the same plane as the first plate portion 61a of the fixed shield portion 61, the elastic support portion 80, and the first portion 72a.

[0210] A plurality of (three) first contact portions 73a are formed for each first portion 72a. The first contact portion 73a has a substantially semicircular shape.

[0211] The plurality of contact portions 73a and 73b includes a plurality of second contact portions 73b projecting from the second portion 72b of the supported portion 72. Therefore, the second contact portion 73b is disposed on the same plane as the first plate portion 61a of the fixed shield portion 61 and the second portion 72b.

[0212] A plurality of (two) second contact portions 73b are formed for each of the second portions 72b. The second contact portion 73b has a substantially semicircular shape.

[0213] Hereinafter, when the first contact portion 73a and the second contact portion 73b are not distinguished from each other, they are simply referred to as contact portions 73.

[0214] Although not shown, the pad formed on the underside of the second substrate 92 has an area larger than a contact area between the contact portions 73 of the first shielding member 21 and the pad.

[0215] Therefore, even if the movable shielding portion 70 of the first shielding member 21 and the second substrate 92 are slightly displaced in the XY plane direction, it is possible to realize a state in which they are in contact with each other. Specifically, in the present embodiment, the shielding member 21 does not have a structure for the movable shielding portion 70 to displace in the XY plane direction. In such a case, the above configuration is particularly effective. (Elastic support section 80)

[0216] The at least one elastic support portion 80 has an elastic support portion 80 on one side in the width direction and an elastic support portion 80 on the other side in the width direction.

[0217] The elastic support portion 80 connects the first plate portion 61a of the fixed shield portion 61 and the first portion 72a of the supported portion 72 of the movable shield portion 70.

[0218] The elastic support portion 80 is arranged on the same plane as the first plate portion 61a and the first portion 72a.

[0219] The elastic support section 80 has two spring pieces 81.

[0220] The two spring pieces 81 have a symmetrical shape in the forward-backward direction.

[0221] Each spring piece 81 has a lower portion 81a extending in an upward direction and an oblique direction on the outside in the front-backward direction, an upper portion 81b extending in the upward direction and an oblique direction on the inside in the front-backward direction, and a middle portion 81c connecting the lower portion 81a and the upper portion 81b.

[0222] The lower portion 81a and the upper portion 81b extend linearly. The middle portion 81c extends in a substantially arcuate shape.

[0223] At a base end portion 80a of the elastic support portion 80, one spring piece 81 and the other spring piece 81 are integrated.

[0224] At a distal end portion 80b of the elastic support portion 80, one spring piece 81 and the other spring piece 81 are integrated.

[0225] Thereby, concentration of stress at the base end portion 80a or the distal end portion 80b of the elastic support portion 80 is suppressed.

[0226] The first shielding element 21 is made of a conductive material. Specifically, the first shielding element 21 is made of a conductive plate.

[0227] The first shielding member 21 has a tubular shape (specifically, a square tubular shape) as a whole due to the fixed shielding portion 61 and the movable shielding portion 70.

[0228] As it is in Fig. 6, a connecting portion 21h in which end portions of plate materials constituting the first shielding member 21 are connected to each other is formed at a position corresponding to a second plate portion 61b of the two second plate portions 61b of the fixed shielding portion 61 and a second plate portion 71b of the two second plate portions 71b of the movable shielding portion 70.

[0229] Fig. 3 shows a state in which the first connecting piece 11 and the second connecting piece 12 are connected.

[0230] In the Fig. However, in the state shown in Fig. 3, the contact portion 32 of the first terminal 30 of the first connector 11 and the contact portion 52 of the second terminal 50 of the second connector 12 are in contact with each other, and the plurality of contact portions 73a and 73b of the movable shield portion 70 are in contact with the second substrate 92, but the movable shield portion 70 is not displaced from the initial position.

[0231] Although the first connecting piece 11 and the second connecting piece 12 are normally even in the Fig. 3, the first connecting piece 11 and the second connecting piece 12 can be connected more deeply. That is, even if a distance between the first substrate 91 and the second substrate 92 is smaller than a distance shown in Fig. 3, the connection state between the first connector 11 and the second connector 12 is maintained normally. That is, the first connector 11 and the second connector 12 are designed to be connected normally even if the distance between the first substrate 91 and the second substrate 92 is somewhat wide.

[0232] Although not shown, when the distance between the first substrate 91 and the second substrate 92 is smaller than that shown in Fig. 3, the movable shield portion 70 is pressed downward by the second substrate 92 at the plurality of contact portions 73a and 73b and elastically displaced downward from the initial position. <Arbeitsweise und Wirkung>

[0233] The operation and effects of the present embodiment are described below.

[0234] In the present embodiment, the shielding member 21 includes the base portion 60 that does not move relative to a fixing target 91 and the movable shielding portion 70 that is movable relative to the base portion 60.

[0235] Therefore, the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12) can be shielded by the movable shielding portion 70 which is slidable with respect to the fixing target 91.

[0236] In the present embodiment, the movable shield portion 70 includes a contact portion 73 configured to come into contact with a contact target 92 by bringing the contact target 92 and the shielding member 21 close to each other in the first direction. The contact portion 73 of the movable shield portion 70 is configured to generate contact pressure in the first direction (Z direction) upon contact with the contact target 92. The movable shield portion 70 is configured to be displaced in the first direction (Z direction) when the contact portion 73 is pressed in the first direction (Z direction) by the contact target 92.

[0237] Therefore, it is possible to suppress the generation of a gap in the first direction between a contact target 92 and the shielding member 21 or the increase of the gap due to a deviation in a distance in the first direction between the fixing targets 91 and 92 and the contact target 92.

[0238] Here, it is assumed that the contact portion 73 of the movable shield portion 70 is configured such that contact pressure is generated in a direction in a plane perpendicular to the first direction upon contact with the contact target 92. In this case, if the position of the contact target 92 relative to the movable shield portion 70 deviates from a predetermined position in the in-plane direction, there is a possibility that an appropriate contact pressure cannot be achieved.

[0239] Therefore, in the present embodiment, the contact portion 73 of the movable shield portion 70 is designed such that contact pressure in the first direction is generated by the contact with the contact target 92.

[0240] Therefore, even if the position of the contact target 92 with respect to the movable shield portion 70 deviates from a predetermined position in the direction in the plane perpendicular to the first direction, it is easy to obtain an appropriate contact pressure.

[0241] In the present embodiment, the contact portion 73 of the movable shield portion 70 has a convex shape to come into point contact with the contact target 92.

[0242] Therefore, it is compatible with a planar contact portion (pad not shown) of the contact target 92.

[0243] In the present embodiment, the movable shielding portion 70 does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12).

[0244] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing to the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12) on the movable shielding portion 70. This allows the structure of the shielding member 21 to be simplified.

[0245] Specifically, in the present embodiment, the movable shielding portion 70 does not have a portion that physically engages with the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12).

[0246] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for physical engagement with the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12) on the movable shielding portion 70. This allows the structure of the shielding member 21 to be simplified.

[0247] Further, in the present embodiment, the shielding member 21 does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12).

[0248] Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing to the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12) on the shielding member 21. This allows the structure of the shielding member 21 to be simplified.

[0249] Of course, in a case where the movable shielding portion 70 and the like do not have a portion fixed to the shielding target, it is not necessary to provide a structure for fixing the movable shielding portion 70 and the like to the shielding target. This allows the structure of the shielding target to be simplified.

[0250] In the present embodiment, the base portion 60 has the fixed shielding portion 61 that shields the shielding target (a pair of connectors 11 and 12).

[0251] Therefore, the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12) can be shielded by both the fixed shielding portion 61, which does not shift with respect to the fixing target 91, and the movable shielding portion 70, which is shiftable with respect to the fixing target 91.

[0252] In the present embodiment, the fixed shielding portion 61 has a tubular shape and the movable shielding portion 70 has a tubular shape.

[0253] Therefore, a high shielding performance can be demonstrated.

[0254] Furthermore, in the present embodiment, a part of the fixed shielding portion 61 is disposed within the movable shielding portion 70. That is, it can be said that a part of one of the fixed shielding portion 61 and the movable shielding portion 70 is disposed inside each other.

[0255] Therefore, the generation of a gap (gap in the up-down direction) between the tubular fixed shielding portion and the tubular movable shielding portion can be suppressed.

[0256] In the present embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6, the elastic support portion 80 is formed on the inside of the shield 21 with respect to the movable shield portion 70.

[0257] Therefore, the elastic support portion 80 can be prevented from being damaged due to contact from the outside or the like.

[0258] It is assumed that the contact portion 32 of the terminal 30 of the connector 11 is designed such that contact pressure is generated in the first direction (Z direction) upon contact with the terminal 50 of the mating connector 12. In this case, to ensure stable electrical connection, it is necessary to continuously press the connector 11 and the mating connector 12 firmly in the first direction, and both substrates (the substrate 91 and the mating substrate 92) are easily bent together by pressing the movable shield portion 70 and the contact target 92 in the first direction (Z direction).

[0259] Therefore, in the present embodiment, the contact portion 32 of the terminal 30 of the connector 11 is designed such that contact pressure is generated in a direction in a plane perpendicular to the first direction by contact with the terminal 50 of the mating connector 12.

[0260] Therefore, bending of both substrates (the substrate 91 and the mating substrate 92) can be suppressed. [Second embodiment]

[0261] Fig. 8 to 11 show a shielding structure 200 and the like according to a second embodiment.

[0262] In the shielding structure 200 according to the second embodiment, unlike the shielding structure 100 according to the first embodiment, the shields 21 and 22 include a second shielding member 22 fixed to the second substrate 92, in addition to the first shielding member 21 fixed to the first substrate 91. The first shielding member 21 of the second embodiment shields the pair of connectors 11 and 12 in cooperation with the second shielding member 22. Therefore, in the second embodiment, a target (contact target) with which the first shielding member 21 comes into contact is the second shielding member 22.

[0263] In the second embodiment, the second connector 12 is a floating connector, and the first connector 11 is a non-floating connector. However, as in the first embodiment, the first connector 11 may be a floating connector, and the second connector 12 may be a non-floating connector.

[0264] The first shielding member 21 of the second embodiment has a similar configuration to the first shielding member 21 of the first embodiment. The following mainly describes differences in the configuration of the first shielding member 21 of the second embodiment from the first shielding member 21 of the first embodiment. (Restriction mechanisms 65 and 75)

[0265] As it is in Fig. 10, the first shielding member 21 has restricting mechanisms 65 and 75 that restrict excessive displacement of the movable shielding portion 70 in a direction (-Z direction) approaching the first fixing target 91 (fixing target).

[0266] The restriction mechanisms 65 and 75 are designed to restrict excessive displacement by abutting one part and another part of the first shielding member 21. That is, the restriction mechanisms 65 and 75 are integral with the first shielding member 21.

[0267] The specific structures of the restriction mechanisms 65 and 75 are as follows.

[0268] The restriction mechanisms 65 and 75 include an abutting portion 65 of the base portion 60 and an abutting portion 75 of the movable shield portion 70. When the movable shield portion 70 moves in a direction approaching the first attachment target 91 (-Z direction), the abutting portion 75 of the movable shield portion 70 abuts the abutting portion 65 of the base portion 60.

[0269] The abutting portion 75 is formed at a lower end of each of the two second portions 72b of the supported portion 72 of the movable shield portion 70.

[0270] The abutting portion 65 is formed at an upper end of each of the two second plate portions 61b of the fixed shield portion 61.

[0271] The abutting portion 65 is formed over a portion of the fixed shield portion 61 that is connected to the elastic support portion 80 (upper edge of the first plate portion 61a). Therefore, a distance (distance in the up-down direction) between the abutting portion 75 and the abutting portion 65 is smaller than an up-down dimension of the elastic support portion 80.

[0272] The abutting portion 75 is formed by bending a lower portion of the second portion 72b toward the inside of the shield 21 (inside in the front-back direction).

[0273] The abutting portion 65 is formed by bending an upper portion of the second plate portion 61b toward the inside of the shield 21 (inside in the front-back direction).

[0274] As a result, plate surfaces, rather than plate end faces, are brought into contact with each other. This can more reliably restrict excessive displacement of the movable shielding portion 70. (Extension Section 66)

[0275] The fixed shielding portion 61 has an extension portion 66 for closing a gap between the first plate portion 71a and the second plate portion 71b of the movable shielding portion 70.

[0276] The extension portion 66 is a portion of the fixed shield portion 61 near the bent portion connecting the first plate portion 61a and the second plate portion 61b, and is a portion above the upper edge of the first plate portion 61a. It can be said that the extension portion 66 is a portion in which a part of the fixed shield portion 61 is extended in the upward direction. (First section 70a and second section 70b, which can be moved independently of each other)

[0277] The movable shielding portion 70 of the first shielding member 21 includes a first portion 70a and a second portion 70b that are independently movable. Therefore, a favorable contact state can be achieved between the movable shielding portion 70 and the contact target 92 even when the contact target 92 is inclined relative to a predetermined state.

[0278] The first portion 70a represents one side of the movable shield portion 70 in the front-back direction.

[0279] The second portion 70b represents the other side of the movable shield portion 70 in the forward-backward direction.

[0280] The first section 70a and the second section 70b have substantially the same structure.

[0281] The first shielding member 21 is formed by subjecting a plate material to punching, bending, or the like. In the first shielding member 21, one part and the other part are joined as a plate. This point is similar to the first shielding member 21 of the first embodiment.

[0282] In this regard, in the first shielding member 21 of the second embodiment, the connecting portion 21h at which end portions of the plate material are materially connected to each other is not arranged in the second plate portion 61b of the fixed shielding portion 61, but in the first plate portion 61a of the fixed shielding portion 61.

[0283] As it is in Fig. As can be seen in Figure 10, two elastic support portions 80 are formed for each of the first portion 70a and the second portion 70b. That is, the first shielding member 21 has a total of four elastic support portions 80.

[0284] The second embodiment is similar to the first embodiment in that the central portion 81c of the spring piece 81 extends in a substantially arcuate shape. As shown in Fig. However, as shown in Figure 10, the substantially arcuate central portion 81c of the second embodiment is an arc with an angle of 180 degrees or more, unlike the first embodiment. Therefore, stress concentration in the central portion 81c can be suppressed.

[0285] In the first shielding member 21 of the second embodiment, the movable shielding portion 70 has the plurality of first contact portions 73a, but does not have the second contact portion (see reference numeral 73b in Fig. 6). (Second shielding element 22)

[0286] The second shielding member 22 has a fixed shielding portion 161 and has no movable shielding portion.

[0287] The fixed shielding portion 161 has a tubular shape (specifically, a square tubular shape).

[0288] The fixed shielding portion 161 has two first plate portions 161a and two second plate portions 161b.

[0289] The two first plate portions 161a face each other in the width direction. Specifically, each of the first plate portions 161a has a flat plate shape with a plate thickness direction aligned in the width direction.

[0290] The two second plate portions 161b face each other in the front-back direction. Specifically, each of the second plate portions 161b has a flat plate shape with a plate thickness direction oriented in the front-back direction.

[0291] The second shielding member 22 has a plurality of connecting portions 162a, 162b and 162c.

[0292] Each of the plurality of connecting portions 162a, 162b and 162c is connected by soldering to a pad (not shown) formed on an upper surface of the first substrate 91.

[0293] The plurality of connecting portions 162a, 162b and 162c includes a plurality of first connecting portions 162a projecting from the first plate portion 161a.

[0294] The plurality of connecting portions 162a, 162b and 162c include a plurality of second connecting portions 162b projecting from the second plate portion 161b.

[0295] The plurality of connecting portions 162a, 162b, and 162c include a plurality of (four) third connecting portions 162c, with the plate thickness direction oriented in the up-down direction. The third connecting portion 162c is connected to the first plate portion 161a of the fixed shield portion 161 via a bent portion.

[0296] The second shielding member 22 has a plurality of contact portions 173 that come into contact with each of the plurality of contact portions 73 of the first shielding member 21.

[0297] The contact portion 173 of the second shielding member 22 has a flat plate shape. The contact portion 173 is a flat plate surface and comes into contact with the contact portion 73 of the first shielding member 21. Since the plate surface is a contact portion, plating is easily applied to the contact portion.

[0298] The plate surface of the contact portion 173 has an area larger than a contact area between the contact portion 73 of the first shielding member 21 and the contact portion 173 of the second shielding member 22.

[0299] Therefore, even if the movable shielding portion 70 of the first shielding member 21 and the second shielding member 22 are slightly displaced in the XY plane direction, it is possible to realize a state in which they are in contact with each other. Specifically, the shielding member 21 in the present embodiment does not have a structure for the movable shielding portion 70 to displace in the XY plane direction. In such a case, the above configuration is particularly effective.

[0300] Viewed from below, the contact portion 173 overlaps a pad for the second signal terminal 50A formed on the underside of the second substrate 92 (see Fig. 11). In other words, an orthogonal projection of the contact portion 173 onto the bottom surface of the second substrate 92 overlaps the pad for the second signal terminal 50A formed on the bottom surface of the second substrate 92. Therefore, the contact portion 173 can be formed large.

[0301] A bent portion 174 is formed on the outside of the contact portion 173 of the second shielding member 22 in the width direction. The contact portion 173 is connected via the bent portion 174 to the first plate portion 161a of the fixed shielding portion 161 of the second shielding member 22. The contact portion 173 extends inward in the width direction from the bent portion 174. As shown in Fig. 11, the contact portion 173 is thereby formed in a region extending over the inside and outside of the tubular fixed shield portion 161.

[0302] Instead of the above configuration, the bent portion 174 may be formed on the inner side in the width direction of the contact portion 173 of the second shielding member 22. In this case, the contact portion 173 extends outward in the width direction from the bent portion 174.

[0303] The contact portion 173, which has a flat plate shape, is not formed at a position corresponding to the second plate portion 161b in the second shielding member 22, which has a square tubular shape. Therefore, it is not necessary to form the contact portion 173 of the second shielding member 22 so that it protrudes outward in the front-back direction of the second plate portion 161b.

[0304] Therefore, the increase in a forward-backward dimension of the second shielding member 22 can be suppressed.

[0305] In the present embodiment, the shielding member 21 includes the base portion 60 that does not move relative to a fixing target 91 and the movable shielding portion 70 that is movable relative to the base portion 60.

[0306] Therefore, the shielding target (a pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12) can be shielded by the movable shielding portion 70 which is slidable with respect to the fixing target 91.

[0307] As it is in Fig. As shown in Fig. 9, in the present embodiment, the movable shield portion 70 includes the contact portion 73 configured to come into contact with the contact target 22 by bringing the contact target 22 (second shield member 22) and the shield member 21 close to each other in the first direction. The contact portion 73 of the movable shield portion 70 is configured to generate contact pressure in the first direction (Z direction) upon contact with the contact target 22. The movable shield portion 70 is configured to be displaced in the first direction (Z direction) when the contact portion 73 is pressed in the first direction (Z direction) by the contact target 22.

[0308] Therefore, it is possible to suppress the generation of a gap in the first direction between the contact target 22 and the shielding member 21 or the increase of the gap due to a deviation in a distance in the first direction between the fixing targets 91 and 92 and the contact target 22.

[0309] Meanwhile, in the first embodiment, the shield 21 includes only the first shielding member 21. That is, the first shielding member 21 shields the entire pair of connectors 11 and 12 (see Fig. 3). As it is in Fig. Therefore, as shown in Fig. 2, an upper end of the first connector 11 is located below the upper end of the first shielding member 21, and the distance in the up-down direction between the upper end of the first connector 11 and the upper end of the first shielding member 21 increases. In this case, it is likely to be difficult to detach a cap 16 mounted on the first connector 11. The cap 16 is a member having a suction surface 16a for sucking the connector when the connector is moved and placed on the substrate.

[0310] Therefore, in the present embodiment, the first shielding member 21 shields the pair of connectors 11 and 12 in cooperation with the second shielding member 22.

[0311] Therefore, the upper end of the first shielding member 21 is easily positioned above the upper end of the first shielding member 21, and even when the upper end of the first connecting piece 11 is positioned below the upper end of the first shielding member 21, the distance in the up-down direction between the upper end of the first connecting piece 11 and the upper end of the first shielding member 21 becomes small. This facilitates the operation of removing the cap 16 mounted on the first connecting piece 11.

[0312] From the standpoint of work convenience, the suction surface 16a of the cap 16 is preferably arranged above the upper end of the first shielding member 21.

[0313] Here, the cap 16, which further facilitates the process of removing the cap, is shown with reference to Fig. 17 described.

[0314] Fig. 17 shows the connectors 11 and 12 with a shielding member in a state in which the cap 16 is attached.

[0315] The cap 16 has a flat suction surface 16a and at least one operating portion 16b.

[0316] In particular, the at least one operating section 16b has two operating sections 16b. The two operating sections 16b are arranged on one side and the other side in the forward-backward direction with respect to the suction surface 16a.

[0317] Each operating portion 16b has a shape that protrudes upward relative to the suction surface 16a. Each operating portion 16b has a shape capable of hooking a jig or the like from the outside in the front-back direction. (Modifications)

[0318] Fig. 12 shows a shielding structure 200A after a first modification.

[0319] In the second embodiment, the contact portion 73 of the first shielding member 21 is a contact portion having a convex shape, and the contact portion 173 of the second shielding member 22 is a contact portion having a flat plate shape (see Fig. 10).

[0320] On the other hand, in the first modification, as described in Fig. 12 and Fig. As shown in Figure 13, the contact portion 73 of the first shielding member 21 is a contact portion having a flat plate shape, and the contact portion 73 of the second shielding member 22 is a contact portion having a convex shape. Therefore, even in this case, when the movable shielding portion 70 of the first shielding member 21 and the second shielding member 22 are slightly displaced in the XY plane direction, it is possible to realize a state where they are in contact with each other.

[0321] Fig. 14 shows a shielding structure 200B after a second modification. In Fig. 14, however, the fortification objectives 91 and 92 were omitted.

[0322] In the second modification, the base portion 60 of the first shielding member 21 is fixed to the first connecting piece 11. That is, the base portion 60 of the first shielding member 21 has a portion (second plate portion 61b) fixed to the shielding target (first connecting piece 11).

[0323] Therefore, the shielding target (first connector 11) and the first shielding member 21 can be handled integrally.

[0324] In the second modification, the second shielding member 22 is fixed to the second connecting piece 12. That is, the second shielding member 22 has a portion fixed to the shielding target (second connecting piece 12).

[0325] As it is in Fig. As can be seen in Fig. 14, the first shielding member 21 is fixed to the first connecting piece 11 at positions of both ends in the front-back direction. Specifically, the two second plate portions 61b of the fixed shielding portion 61 of the first shielding member 21 are fixed to the fixed housing 41 of the first connecting piece 11.

[0326] Specifically, the fixed housing 41 has two fixing portions 41a for fixing the first shielding member 21, and the first shielding member 21 has two second plate portions 61b as fixed portions for fixing to the fixed housing 41.

[0327] As it is in Fig. As shown in Fig. 14, the second shielding member 22 is fixed to the second connecting piece 12 at positions at both ends in the front-back direction. Specifically, the two second plate portions 161b of the fixed shielding portion 161 of the second shielding member 22 are fixed to the fixed housing 141 of the second connecting piece 12.

[0328] Specifically, the fixed housing 141 has two fixing portions 141a for fixing the second shielding member 22, and the second shielding member 22 has two second plate portions 161b as fixed portions for fixing to the fixed housing 141. [Commonality of the shields]

[0329] The commonality of the shields is then discussed with reference to Fig. 15A to 16B.

[0330] Fig. 15A and Fig. 16A both show a shielding structure A.

[0331] Fig. 15B and Fig. 16B both show a shielding structure B.

[0332] Both shielding structure A and shielding structure B have common shields 21 and 22. On the other hand, shielding structure A has two connecting pieces 11A and 12A, and shielding structure B has two connecting pieces 11B and 12B, which are different in type from the two connecting pieces 11A and 12A.

[0333] That is, in the shielding structure A and the shielding structure B, the same shields 21 and 22 are used, although the types (shapes and the like) of the pair of connectors 11 and 12 as shielding targets are different.

[0334] In particular, the first shielding element 21 and the second shielding element 22, which have the Fig. 15A to 16B, do not have a portion that is fixed to the two connecting pieces 11 and 12. Furthermore, the first shield member 21 and the second shield member 22 do not have a portion that physically engages the two connecting pieces 11 and 12. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a structure corresponding to the structure of the pair of connecting pieces 11 and 12 in the shields 21 and 22. This facilitates the commonality of the shields.

[0335] However, the commonality of the shields is possible even if the shielding element constituting the shield has a portion that is attached to the shielding target.

[0336] For example, in a third embodiment (see Fig. 14) The first shielding member 21 is fixed to the fixed housing 41 of the first connector 11, and the second shielding member 22 is fixed to the fixed housing 141 of the second connector 12. If the fixing portions 41a and 141a have a common structure between different types of connector pairs, the shields 21 and 22 can be used together even with such a structure.

[0337] Like the first shielding member 21 described so far, the shielding member in which the movable shielding portion 70 does not have a portion fixed to the shielding target can also be said to facilitate commonality of the shielding member among the plurality of types of connectors.

[0338] The commonality of the shields described above is also possible in a case where the shield is formed only by the first shielding element (see first embodiment).

[0339] By sharing the shielding between multiple types of connector pairs or sharing the shielding element between multiple types of connectors, the cost of designing the shielding element, the cost of providing manufacturing equipment for manufacturing the shielding element, and the like can be greatly reduced. This makes it possible to realize a low-cost shielding element, a connector with a shielding element, and the like. [Additional description of embodiments]

[0340] Although the preferred embodiments of the connector of the disclosure have been described above, the disclosure is not limited thereto. The following description is a supplementary description for the sake of completeness.

[0341] In the embodiments, the electronic component as a shielding target is a connector pair, but the electronic component as a shielding target of the disclosure is not limited thereto.

[0342] In the embodiments, the cap 16 has at least one operating portion 16b, but the cap of the disclosure is not limited thereto and does not necessarily have an operating portion. In this case, the suction surface of the cap is preferably located above the upper end of the shielding member in a state where the cap is attached.

[0343] In the embodiments, the cap 16 has at least one operating portion 16b and at least a part of the operating portion 16b is arranged above the upper end of the shielding member (see Fig. 17). However, the process of removing the cap 16 is facilitated. However, the disclosure is not limited thereto, and the entire operating portion 16b may be arranged below the upper end of the shielding member.

[0344] In the Fig. In the example shown in Figure 17, the suction surface 16a of the cap is arranged below the upper end of the first shielding member 21. However, even if the cap has the operating portion, the suction surface of the cap may be arranged above the upper end of the shielding member.
