Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a sheet delivery device of a printing press, comprising a housing with an opening.
[0002] DE 10 2007 003 880 B4 and DE 10 2023 100 461 A1 show sheet delivery units. Such sheet delivery units incorporate measures to prevent powder from escaping. These measures often make it difficult to remove the stack from the delivery unit.
[0003] The object of the invention is to provide a sheet delivery device which is advantageous with regard to the removal of the stack.
[0004] The object is achieved by a sheet delivery device of a printing press, comprising a housing with an opening, characterized in that a stack transport device extends through the opening and a transport plane of the stack transport device extends above a suction device for air from a blowing device.
[0005] The stack transport device allows for the rapid removal of printed sheets from the inside of the delivery to the outside without any problems. Because the stack transport device can transport the stack over the extraction device, there's no need to adjust the path for the stack. The air extracted from the blower unit by the extraction device may be contaminated with entrained powder or dryer exhaust fumes. The following further training courses are possible:
[0006] During printing operation, the opening can be closed in the upper part of the opening with an air curtain generated by the blowing device and in the lower part of the opening with a cover.
[0007] The cover can be a roller blind.
[0008] The stack transport device may comprise a pair of conveyor chains.
[0009] A plate for carrying a pallet with the stack may be arranged on the conveyor chains, and the transport plane may be formed by an upper side of the plate.
[0010] The stack transport device may comprise a series of rollers.
[0011] The rollers, together with their upwardly facing circumferential surface sections, can span the transport plane, which in this case is an imaginary plane.
[0012] Further developments also arise from the following description of embodiments and the associated drawing, which shows: Fig. 1 a sheet delivery device with a stack transport device in a spatial representation, Fig. 2 a representation of the sheet delivery viewed in the opposite direction of sheet transport, Fig. 3 a modification of the sheet delivery with the stack transport device from the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, Fig. 4 one of the Fig. 1 indicated section line IV-IV corresponding representation and Fig. 5 a further modification.
[0013] In Fig. 1 shows a sheet delivery 1 of an offset printing press. The freshly printed and then powdered sheets are transported in the direction of transport 2 to a stack 3 ( Fig. 2) and placed one after the other.
[0014] Fig. 2 shows that the stack 3 is located on a pallet 4, which stands on a platform 5, which hangs on pull chains 6 and can be raised and lowered by means of these.
[0015] In the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 further shows that a housing 7 of the sheet delivery unit 1 has an opening 8 on the drive side AS and the operating side BS of the printing press, through which the stack 3 can be conveyed out of the housing 7 by a stack transport device 9 when the stack 3 has reached a certain height. The stack transport device 9 comprises a pair of conveyor chains 10 that rotate around sprockets 11 arranged in a pit 12 beneath the room floor 13.
[0016] A plate 14 is transported along the conveyor chains 10, which carries the pallet 4 with the stack 3 during the transport of the stack 3. For the sake of simplicity, the plate 14 is Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 not shown.
[0017] During printing operation, the respective opening 8 is sealed off in its upper part by an air curtain 15 and in its lower part by a mechanical cover 16 in the form of a roller blind, for example, a folding blind or pleated blind, to prevent powder mist from escaping from the housing 7. The air curtain 15 is ejected by a blower device 17 in the form of a blowpipe, which is arranged at the upper edge of the opening 8.
[0018] In Fig. In Figure 4, for the sake of clarity, the cover 16 is not shown and it can be seen that a suction device 19 is arranged below a transport plane 18 of the stack transport device 9, which suction device sucks the blown air out of the air curtain 15 and the powder entrained therein.
[0019] In this embodiment, the transport plane 18 is formed by the upper side of the plate 14, which, during stack transport, crosses the suction device 19 arranged in the pit 12. A variant is also conceivable in which the plate 14 is omitted and the pallet 4 rests directly on the conveyor chains 10 during stack transport, which span the transport plane 18, which in this case would be an imaginary plane.
[0020] Above the suction device 19, the pit 12 is covered with an air-permeable element 20, for example a grating or a perforated plate.
[0021] The suction device 19 is arranged behind the cover 16 in the direction of the housing interior and the blowing device 17 is aligned such that the air curtain 15 flows along the inside of the cover 16 and through the element 20 and is collected by the suction device 19.
[0022] The embodiment according to Fig. 3 differs from the embodiment according to the Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 4 only in that the pit 12 is omitted and the stack transport device 9 and the suction devices 19 are arranged on the two machine sides AS, BS in a box 21 which is placed on the room floor 13.
[0023] Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment, wherein the same reference numerals are used for the components identical to the previously described embodiments, so that a repeated description of these components is not necessary.
[0024] It can be seen that the stack transport device 9 consists of a series of rollers 22 extending from the drive side AS to the operating side BS through the housing 7, which together define the imaginary transport plane 18. When the stack 3 is transported out of the sheet delivery unit 1 and similarly when an empty pallet 4 is transported into the sheet delivery unit 1, the pallet 4 rolls on the rollers 22.
[0025] The respective extraction device 19 is located completely below the imaginary transport plane 18; the upper edge of a box-shaped housing of the extraction device 19 does not protrude above the transport plane 18. The rollers 22 and the extraction device 19 are arranged above the room floor 13, resulting in a distance of approximately 100 mm between the transport plane 18 and the room floor 13.
[0026] Shown is an operating situation in which the stack 3 on the pallet 4 is moved out through the opening 8 on the drive side AS. On the drive side AS, the cover 16 is open, specifically the roller blind is rolled up, and the blower device 17 is deactivated. On the operating side BS, the blower device 17 is active and the cover 16 is in its closed position.
