FIG. 6 is a perspective view when the cover sheet is removed from the base of the wire harness assembly according to the present embodiment.DETAILED DESCRIPTIONHereinafter, a wire harness assembly 1 according to an embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the dimensional relationships in the drawings are exaggerated for simplicity and may deviate from the actual relationships. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the wire harness assembly 1 according to the present embodiment is used, for example, for a wire harness 3 that electrically connects electrical components (not illustrated), for example, a vehicle-mounted power supply and an apparatus, or an apparatus and an apparatus. The wire harness 3 is arranged in a predetermined shape within a mounting member 5 fixedly assembled therewith. The wire harness assembly 1 is mounted on a target member (not shown), for example, a door trim of a vehicle. As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the harness assembly 1 includes a harness 3 and a mounting member 5.As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the wire harness 3 includes an electric wire 7 and a connector 9.The electric wire 7 is, for example, a covered electric wire in which an outer periphery of a core wire made of a conductive material is covered with an insulating covering, and a plurality (four in the present embodiment) of the electric wires 7 are used. The electric wire 7 may be a flat cable in which the outer peripheries of a plurality of core wires are covered with an insulating covering, the plurality of core wires being arranged in parallel. The plurality of electric wires 7 are arranged such that their ends protrude from the mounting member 5 on both sides. The plurality of electric wires 7 are arranged such that the ends on one end side are bundled at one location and the ends on the other end sides are branched. The connector 9 includes, for example, a housing (not illustrated) made of an insulating material such as a synthetic resin and a terminal (not illustrated) made of a conductive material. For example, the housing may be mounted to a mating housing (not shown) of a connector (not shown) electrically connected to a vehicle-mounted electrical component. The terminal is electrically connected to the end of the electric wire 7 and is accommodated in the housing. The terminal is electrically connected to a mating terminal (not shown) accommodated in the mating housing by mounting the housing to the mating housing. A plurality of (five in the present embodiment) connectors 9 are used to match the ends of the plurality of electric wires 7 protruding from the mounting member 5.As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the mounting member 5 includes a base 11 and a cover 13.The base 11 is made of, for example, a foam material of urethane or the like or a non-woven fabric of polypropylene fibers, polyethylene terephthalate fibers, polyester-based fibers or the like, and has sound absorbing and heat insulating properties. The base 11 is plate-shaped and sized to be disposed within the range of the target member, and is connected to the target member by a fastener (not shown), e.g., press-fitting. On a surface side of the base 11, the plurality of (four in the present embodiment) electric wires 7 of the wire harness 3 are arranged in a predetermined shape. The ends of the plurality of electric wires 7, each of the electric wires 7 being disposed on the base 11, are exposed from an outer edge of the base 11 by a predetermined length, and the connectors 9 are disposed outside the base 11.The cover 13 is made of, for example, a film of vinyl chloride, polyethylene or the like, or a closed cell foam or an open cell foam of polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, elastomer or the like, and has sound absorbing and heat insulating properties. The cover 13 is plate-shaped and has a size equal to that of the base 11 such that the cover 13 is disposed within the range of the target member and a thickness smaller than that of the base 11. On a surface of the cover 13 facing the base 11, a connecting portion 15 formed of an adhesive is provided. The cover 13 is fixed to a surface side of the base 11 by the connection portion 15 so that the plurality of electric wires 7 are sandwiched between the cover 13 and the base 11. In a state where the cover 13 is fixed to the base 11, the plurality of electric wires 7 arranged in a predetermined shape are held between the base 11 and the cover 13. Therefore, the mounting member 5 can protect the electric wire 7 of the wire harness 3 and maintain the shape of the arrangement of the electric wire 7.The connector 9 protruding from the mounting member 5 is connected to a mating connector in a state where the wire harness assembly 1 is assembled to the target member. At this time, since the electric wire 7 is exposed from the outer edge of the mounting member 5 by a predetermined length, the connector 9 can move freely, facilitating the attachment of the connector 9 to a mating connector. By connecting the connector 9 to the mating connector, the electrical components are electrically connected to each other. In a conventional wire harness assembly, a connecting portion for fixing a base and a cover is provided on the entire surface of a mounting member. Therefore, a large amount of adhesive is used for the joint portion, causing high cost.In the present embodiment, on the other hand, the connecting portion 15 includes an outer connecting portion 17 and an inner connecting portion 19.The outer connecting portion 17 is disposed along an outer edge of the mounting member 5 between the base 11 and the cover 13 of the mounting member 5. The outer connecting portion 17 connects the outer edges of the base 11 and the cover 13 to each other to firmly connect the base 11 and the cover 13 to each other. By providing the outer joint portion 17 at the outer edge of the mounting member 5, the base 11 and the cover 13 can be assembled, and the non-adhesion region 29 in which the joint portion 15 is not disposed can be formed inside the outer edge of the mounting member 5. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the amount of the adhesive used except for the non-adhesive portion 29 inside the outer edge of the mounting member 5.The outer connecting portion 17 has a partitioning portion 21 divided to bypass the electric wire 7. In the present embodiment, four partition portions 21 are formed in the outer connection portion 17. Since the electric wire 7 disposed in the separating portion 21 is not connected to the outer connecting portion 17, the electric wire 7 can freely move in the separating portion 21. Therefore, the connector 9 provided at the end of the electric wire 7 can move freely, thereby making the assembly of the connector 9 easy. Moreover, by providing the separation portion 21 in the outer connection portion 17, the separation portion 21 can be used as a guide for the arrangement of the electric wire 7, and the assembly workability can be improved. On the other hand, since the electric wire 7 disposed in the outer connecting portion 17 is connected to the outer connecting portion 17, the movement of the electric wire 7 is restricted. Therefore, for example, when the movement of the connector 9 is restricted due to interference with peripheral elements or the like, the connector 9 can be positioned by regulating the movement of the connector 9 provided at the end of the electric wire 7. In the present embodiment, four partition portions 21 are provided in the outer connection portion 17, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the number of the partition portions 21 and the positions of the partition portions 21 may be set in consideration of the restrictions of the peripheral elements, etc.The inner connecting portion 19 is disposed inside the outer edge of the mounting member 5 between the base 11 and the cover 13 of the mounting member 5. The inner connection portion 19 is disposed at a position bypassing the electric wire 7 of the wire harness 3. A region other than the inner joint portion 19 between the base 11 and the cover 13 is a non-adhesion region 29 in which no joint portion 15 is provided. The inner connecting portion 19 connects portions inside the outer edges of the base 11 and the cover 13 to firmly connect the base 11 and the cover 13 to each other. By disposing the inner connection portion 19 at a position avoiding the electric wire 7 inside the outer edge of the mounting member 5, it is possible to stably assemble the base 11 and the cover 13 while suppressing a decrease in the non-adhesion area 29 and minimizing the amount of the adhesive used. Moreover, by disposing the inner connection portion 19 at a position avoiding the electric wire 7, the inner connection portion 19 can be used as a guide for disposing the electric wire 7, and assembly workability can be improved. An example of a method for manufacturing the joint portion 15 will be described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 6. In the following description, it is assumed that the connection portion 15 is formed on the base 11, but the connection portion 15 may be formed on the cover 13. First, as shown in FIG. 3, on a surface side of the base 11, a cover sheet 25 is disposed in which through holes 23 are formed at positions where an outer connecting portion 17 and an inner connecting portion 19 are to be provided as the connecting portion 15. Next, as shown in FIG. 4, an adhesive 27 is sprayed on the cover sheet 25. As shown in FIG. 5, the adhesive 27 is introduced into the through holes 23 of the cover sheet 25 on which the adhesive 27 is sprayed. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 6, by removing the cover sheet 25 from the base 11, an outer joint portion 17 and an inner joint portion 19 as the joint portion 15 and a non-stick region 29 are formed on the base 11.The wire harness assembly 1 according to the present embodiment includes a wire harness 3 having an electric wire 7 and a connector 9 electrically connected to one end of the electric wire 7, and a mounting member 5 in which the wire harness 3 is disposed. The mounting member 5 includes a base 11 and a cover 13 fixed to the base 11 via a connecting portion 15. The connecting portion 15 comprises an outer connecting portion 17 arranged along an outer edge of the mounting element 5. Between the base 11 and the cover 13, there is a non-bonding region 29 in which no connecting portion 15 is located.By providing the outer joint portion 17 in the joint portion 15, the base 11 and the cover 13 can be joined together, and the non-adhesion region 29 in which the joint portion 15 is not disposed can be formed inside the outer edge of the mounting member 5. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the amount of the adhesive used except for the non-adhesive portion 29 inside the outer edge of the mounting member 5.This makes it possible to reduce the cost of the wire harness assembly 1.The connection portion 15 includes an inner connection portion 19 disposed at a position where the electric wire 7 is located inside the outer edge of the mounting member 5.By providing the inner joint portion 19 in the joint portion 15, it is possible to stably assemble the base 11 and the cover 13 while suppressing a decrease in the non-adhesive area 29 and minimizing the amount of adhesive. Moreover, the inner connection portion 19 can be used as a guide for the arrangement of the electric wire 7, and the assembly workability can be improved. The outer connecting portion 17 has a partitioning portion 21 divided to avoid the electric wire 7.Since the electric wire 7 disposed in the separation portion 21 is not connected to the outer connection portion 17, the electric wire 7 can freely move in the separation portion 21. Therefore, the connector 9 provided at the end of the electric wire 7 can move freely, thereby facilitating the assembly of the connector 9. Moreover, the separation portion 21 can be used as a guide for the arrangement of the electric wire 7, and the ease of assembly can be improved. In the above-described embodiment, the number of electric wires 7 in the wire harness 3 is four, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the number of electric wires 7 may be three or less, or five or more. In the above-described embodiments, the one end sides of the plurality of electric wires 7 are bundled in one connector 9, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the connector 9 may be provided on each of the one end sides of the plurality of electric wires 7.Although the present invention has been described above with reference to the embodiment, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the configuration of the parts may be replaced with any configuration having a similar function as long as it falls within the scope of the claims.References included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
