Abstract

The present invention relates to a hair-cutting cape comprising a fabric piece with a neck opening. The object of the present invention is to provide a hair-cutting cape with improved wearing comfort. [0001] The present invention relates to a hair-cutting cape comprising a fabric cut with a neck opening.

[0002] Haircutting capes are primarily used in hair salons. They are pulled over the upper body and fastened at the neck. Falling hair lands on the cape, preventing clothing from becoming soiled.

[0003] Haircutting capes also prevent shampoo or other hairdressing products used for conditioning, cleaning or coloring hair from ending up on clothing.

[1] Hair-cutting cape (1), comprising a piece of fabric (2) with a neck opening (3), characterized by , that the fabric blank (2) contains at least 50 wt.%, preferably more than 75 wt.%, further preferably more than 90 wt.%, most preferably more than 99 wt.% hemp fibers, wherein the neck opening (3) is arranged on a diagonal of the fabric blank (2) and a slit (4) extends from a slit corner (5) of the fabric blank (2) to the neck opening (3), wherein the fabric blank is square or diamond-shaped and the neck opening (3) is arranged closer to the slit corner (5) than to a corner (6) of the fabric blank (2) opposite the slit corner (5).
