Abstract

An AC carrier assembly comprising a housing (12, 30), a receptacle (16, 32) integrally formed as part of the housing (12, 30), a plurality of busbars (14a, 14b, 14c) extending through the housing (12, 30), and a core (22, 38) arranged at least partially in the receptacle (16, 32) and surrounding the busbars (14a, 14b, 14c) to attenuate electromagnetic interference. A plurality of sub-housings (62a, 62b, 62c) is integrally formed as part of the housing (12, 30), and a plurality of flux concentrators (48a, 48b, 48c) is arranged in each corresponding sub-housing (62a, 62b, 62c). A cover (26) is attached to the housing (12, 30) and a plurality of conductors (52a, 52b, 52c) are provided. Each conductor (52a, 52b, 52c) is connected to a busbar (14a, 14b, 14c), and each flux concentrator (48a, 48b, 48c) surrounds a corresponding busbar (14a, 14b, 14c).Each partial housing comprises a cavity (42a, 42b, 42c), and one of the flow concentrators (48a, 48b, 48c) is arranged at least partially in the cavity (42a, 42b, 42c).
