AI Technical Summary
Existing baker's bags with viewing windows are inefficient in resource utilization, leading to high fossil raw material consumption and environmental impact due to separate disposal of plastic windows, which often end up in non-recyclable waste.
The use of glassine film for the viewing window, which is back-bonded to the paper material, allowing the entire bag to be disposed of in waste paper without separating the window, thus reducing reliance on fossil materials and promoting recyclability.
This solution significantly lowers the carbon footprint and facilitates proper disposal, contributing to environmental sustainability by reducing resource consumption and microplastic pollution.

Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELDThe invention relates to a baker's bag with viewing windows. Baker's bags are used, for example, in bakery plants for packaging bakery products. Baker's bags are also used in the self-service sector, for example in supermarkets and discounts. As a rule, baker's bags with viewing windows are used here in order to allow the cash staff to visually check the bakery products packaged by the customers themselves.PRIOR ARTBaker's bags with and without viewing windows are known. As a rule, a baker's bag is a pleated bag made of paper. The baker's bags have a lateral fold on both sides, by means of which the baker's bag can be expanded and offers sufficient space for the bakery products. In the self-service area, generally baker's bags are used with a viewing window in order to allow personnel to see into the interior of the baker's bag and thereby also reduce theft.Baker's bags with viewing windows are a mass-produced product that is used in very large numbers annually. Typically, the baker's bags are used only a single time and subsequently disposed of. The baker's bag is usually made of cellulose paper, and the viewing window of the baker's bag is made of plastic. In order to dispose of the baker's bag, the viewing window should therefore first be separated from the paper material. Subsequently, the viewing window can be disposed of in the waste waste and the paper material in the waste paper. However, this is actually implemented by only a very few people, since it is impractical and time-consuming. Therefore, the baker's bag, including the viewing window, is usually disposed of in the waste waste.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONProceeding from this prior art, the object of the invention is to specify an improved baker's bag with viewing windows which reduces the resource consumption of fossil raw materials and has a CO 2- footprint which is as low as possible. The baker's bag with viewing window according to the invention is given by the features of the main claim 1. Meaningful further developments of the invention are the subject matter of further claims that follow this claim. The baker's bag according to the invention has a front wall and a rear wall, which are connected to one another on both sides via a respective side fold. At least one viewing window is present in the front wall and / or the rear wall. According to the invention, this viewing window is back-bonded with a film of glassine.Glassine is a transparency made from finely ground and bleached pulp which can be disposed of in the waste paper. It is largely grease-proof and is used in the food sector already singly for the packaging of sweets. Glassine is sufficiently transparent to still provide visual inspection of the contents of the baker's bag.The baker's bag according to the invention can thus be disposed of in waste paper without having to remove the window film beforehand and dispose of it separately. This facilitates disposal for the end customer and can thus ensure that the baker's bag according to the invention is actually disposed of in waste paper and does not land in the waste waste. Even if the baker's bag were to get into the environment accidentally, it can be easily degraded (even in water bodies) without releasing microplasty.By using glassine instead of plastic as material for the window film, no petroleum or other fossil raw material has to be used for the production of the baker's bag. Rather, renewable raw materials can be used and the resources can thus be saved.Such a baker's bag with viewing window therefore has a significantly lower CO 2- footprint than existing baker's bags with viewing window. The baker's bag with viewing window according to the invention therefore follows the guide for environmentally friendly products: "Products also have a CO 2- footprint that comprises the sum of the emissions that arise from the production, use, as well as from the use and disposal of the respective product."In a particularly preferred embodiment, the baker's bag can also contain at least recycled paper. By using recycled paper as a component of the paper material of the baker's bag, the resource consumption can be further reduced. In particular in the case of disposable products and mass-produced products, even small savings of materials can make a significant contribution to the future of the earth. Replacing materials with more environmentally friendly materials can also contribute to this. The baker's bag according to the invention with viewing windows, which does not require plastic, can contribute to this a further step.Further advantages and features of the invention can be taken from the features further specified in the claims and from the exemplary embodiments below.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGSThe invention is described and explained in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. The following are shown: FIG. 1 is a front view of a first embodiment of the baker's bag according to the invention, FIG. 2 is a rear view of the baker's bag of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a view of the slightly opened baker's bag according to FIGS. 1 and 2, FIG. 4 is a front view of a second embodiment of the baker's bag according to the invention, FIG. 5 is a rear view of the baker's bag of FIG. 4; and FIG. 6 is a view of the slightly opened baker's bag according to FIGS. 4 and 5.WAYS OF CARRYING OUT THE INVENTIONThe first embodiment of the baker's bag 10 of the present invention is illustrated in Figures 1-3. The baker's bag 10 has a rectangular front wall 20 and a rectangular rear wall 22, and the front wall 20 and the rear wall 22 are secured along their lateral edges to each other at both sides by a respective side fold 24, 26. A closure flap 30 abuts the rear wall 22 in one piece on the upper edge. A fastening tab 32 abuts the lower edge of the front wall 20 in one piece. The mounting plate 32 is folded back onto the rear wall 22 and thus forms the bottom of the baker's bag 10.In the present example, the front wall 20, the rear wall 22, the two side folds 24, 26, the closing flap 30 and the fastening flap 32 consist of a paper material which at least partially contains recycled paper.A viewing window 40 is located in the front wall 20 of the baker's bag 10, and the viewing window 40 is glued behind with a glassine film, so that the contents of the baker's bag 10 can also be seen from the outside. In the present example, the viewing window 40 is formed over the entire height of the front wall 20. In contrast, it would also be possible to make the viewing window 40 smaller. It would also be possible to provide a viewing window 40 both in the front wall 20 and in the rear wall 22.The second embodiment of the baker's bag 10.4 according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 4 to 6. The baker's bag 10.4 has a rectangular front wall 20.4 and a rectangular rear wall 22, and the front wall 20.4 and the rear wall 22 are fastened to one another along their lateral edges on both sides via a respective side fold 24, 26.4. A closure flap 30 abuts the rear wall 22 in one piece on the upper edge. A fastening tab 32 abuts the lower edge of the front wall 20.4 in one piece. The fastening tab 32 is folded back onto the rear wall 22 and thus forms the bottom of the baker's bag 10.4In the present example, the front wall 20.4, the rear wall 22, the side fold 24, the closing flap 30 and the fastening flap 32 consist of a paper material which at least partially contains recycled paper. In the front wall 20.4 and in the side fold 26.4 of the baker's bag 10.4, which fold is shown on the left in FIG. 6, there is a viewing window 40.4. The viewing window 40.4 is glued behind with a glassine film, so that the contents of the baker's bag 10.4 can also be seen from the outside. The viewing window 40.4 is thus designed as a panoramic window, which also runs over the side fold 26.4. Such a panoramic window once again clearly increases the visibility of the content packaged in the baker's bag 10.4, so that particularly effective theft protection is possible. Moreover, such a baker's bag with panoramic windows also looks visually appealing. It would also be possible to design the front wall completely as a viewing window and thus completely from glassine. In this case, both side folds of the baker's bag could also consist of glassine.
