Abstract
Description
[0001] The subject of the utility model is an induction heating element with coils in a heating pipe, powered by an electric heater mounted on a manifold. The heating pipe has connections for the cold water inlet and the hot water outlet. The solution is used in underfloor heating systems in residential buildings.
[0002] Induction heating is electrical heating in which heat is generated by the flow of eddy currents created by the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction in magnetically coupled elements. If the housing is made of a special ferromagnetic material such as special steel or copper, the heat is generated directly in these materials surrounding the water, thereby heating it.
[0003] One solution is known from Swiss patent specification CH 681 044A5, which relates to a heat pipe for transferring heat power from a heat source to a heat sink; the first part of the pipe is referred to here as the "hot end" and the second part of the pipe as the "cold end" of the heat pipe.
[0004] The heat pipe according to the invention has a particular advantage resulting from its inherent property and the increased safety provided by the automatic upper limit of its operating temperature, since no heat transfer from the warm to the cold end can occur above the so-called medium. The heat pipe has an essentially contactless magnetic flux that transfers heat power to the warm end of the heat pipe.
[0005] The device, known from Japanese patent specification JP 19950276093, is a solution for highly efficient and rapid heating, allowing for very precise temperature control and free shape modification of the metal heater. The device incorporates a working coil for conducting a high-frequency electromagnetic induction current and is integrated into a cylindrical metal electromagnetic induction heater. The high-frequency electromagnetic induction heater is used to heat a liquid by immersing its heated body in a fluid containing oil and water. The working coil is flat or elliptical, and the electromagnetic induction heater body is an elliptical metal cylinder.According to the invention, the device is provided with a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the liquid and a control device for controlling the electromagnetic induction current flowing through the excitation coil so that the detected temperature corresponds to a predetermined value.
[0006] The aim of the utility model solution is to develop an induction heating element with coils with high heating output for underfloor heating, which at the same time has a low construction weight.
[0007] The induction heating element according to the invention essentially consists of a single C-shaped induction heating element with a connected electric heating element and tightly wound elements consisting of two spiral copper coils with a diameter of 2.5 mm and a length of 30 cm, as well as lateral tubular elements connected by a T-piece and two elbows to a lateral cold water inlet and a lateral hot water outlet. Dial thermometers are attached to the lateral tubular elements. The induction heating element works according to the principle of converting electrical energy into heat when an electric current flows through the heating element of the electric heater, which consists of a stainless steel heating rod and two coils. The heating rod element of the heater, together with the two wound coils, is mounted in a tubular copper body via a T-piece.The casing pipe is connected to a manifold and a cold water inlet pipe in the upper part of the casing, and the same elements, along with a manifold and a hot water outlet pipe, are provided for the circulation of the floor system. Through the phenomenon of induction, the heated heating element, together with the two coils, transfers heat to the water in the floor system's circuit.
[0008] The subject matter of the utility model is shown in the attached drawings, where: Fig. 1 - shows a tubular view of the induction heating element with the heater and the coils, Fig. 2 - shows a side view of the inlet and outlet elbows and pipes together with the thermometers, Fig. 3 - shows a view of two induction heating elements combined into one heating module.
[0009] The induction heating element subject to the utility model essentially consists of an electric heating element 1 and a supply cable, at the end of which are a steel resistance heating element 2 and two tightly wound copper coils 3 attached to the element 2. The heating element is inserted through a brass T-piece and connected to a copper tube body 4, which is connected to an elbow 5 and a pipe 6 for the cold water inlet 17 at the upper end of the body and to the same elements of the elbow 5 and pipe 6 for the hot water outlet 16. Dial thermometers 8 and 9 are attached to the pipes 6.
[0010] The winding of the two copper coils connected to the heating element creates a winding conduction phenomenon, meaning heat is generated directly within the material. The water from the underfloor heating circuit, flowing through the pipe body inside, must squeeze through these windings, slowing the flow of the medium and further increasing the heat exchange surface between the water and the collector. As a result, the water in the short section of the copper heat exchanger heats up very quickly and efficiently.
[0011] This solution enables an optimal return temperature of the underfloor heating circuit (approx. 25-28 °C), resulting in an ideal indoor temperature of 21 °C to 22.5 °C with low power consumption, which can be obtained from the photovoltaic system.
[0012] The induction heating element according to the invention can preferably be installed in a distributor with a floor circuit, which has a so-called pump group inside the cabinet as well as shut-off valves and a distributor from the rest of the central heating system.
[0013] To heat larger areas, several induction heating elements according to the invention can be combined into a module, for example, with two or four such induction heating elements. Such a module is provided with a cold water inlet and a hot water outlet. Furthermore, such a module preferably has thermal protection to prevent overheating and burning.
