[0001] The subject of the utility model is a piece of furniture with a display for use in rooms, apartments, offices with easy access to the object on display.
[0002] There are well-known and frequently used types of displays that form a system of parallel shelves arranged one above the other, with back walls inclined backwards in their upper part - towards the interior of the display, having a border / threshold that supports the object on display.
[0003] Furniture that uses display elements in its construction is also known. However, the disadvantage of these solutions is that the displays themselves are not necessary for furnishing an office or room – they do not have enclosed cabinets, shelves, or other characteristic elements of the furniture. Displays located within furniture elements sometimes have limited access due to the rectangular shape of the furniture – they are closed by side walls or the top panel, which allows access to the object placed on the display only from the front or forces the abandonment of the flat top of the furniture if the display is located on top of the furniture.
[0004] The purpose of the invention is therefore to develop such a furniture structure in which access to the object placed on display is facilitated and the furniture itself retains all its other functional features.
[0005] The essential feature of a piece of furniture with a display, which is a body with cabinets, niches and shelves and a top, lies in the fact that in the top above the display, which is located in the upper part of the central body of the furniture, there is a niche, which preferably has a trapezoidal shape with rounded corners.
[0006] The solution according to the pattern, thanks to the use of a niche in the top of the furniture panel, facilitated access to objects located on the display, such as a remote control, a game controller or a book. When taking an item out of the furniture, there is no risk of the item being knocked onto the top of the furniture - the top panel. And the position of the display in the upper middle part allowed full use of the space under the display and on both sides of it, which did not entail major changes in the usability of the furniture itself.
[0007] The niche in the upper surface of the furniture, which forms its top panel, proved to be so small in relation to the total area that it did not affect its usability.
[0008] The subject of the pattern is shown in the figure, where Fig. shows an example piece of furniture with display in perspective view from above, and Fig. shows the same example piece of furniture with display in perspective view from the side.
[0009] The piece of furniture according to the sample consists of a rectangular body 1, divided into three parts: the center 2 consists of a lockable cabinet 3 and an elongated display 4 arranged above it, the rear wall 5 of which is inclined upwards at an acute angle to the inside of the furniture body. In the front part there is a limiting strip 6 to protect the objects placed on the display from falling. On both sides of the center part 2 there are left and right wings 7, which are niches that can be divided into additional segments using shelves 9. All three parts: center 2, left 7, and right 8 are covered with a top panel 10, which has a niche 11 directly above the display 4, extending across the width of this display. It is advantageous if this niche is rectangular or trapezoidal with rounded corners.
[0010] Individual parts of the furniture: Middle 2, Left 7 and Right 8 can of course be covered with additional doors or form open elements - without doors.
Claims
[1] Piece of furniture with a display that forms a body with cupboards, niches and shelves and a top that covers it, characterized by the fact that there is a niche (11) in the top plate (10) above the display (4), which is placed in the upper middle part (2) of the furniture body (1). [2] Piece of furniture according to claim 1 is characterized in that the niche (11) has a trapezoidal shape with rounded corners.
