Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a parasol adapter according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] A parasol adapter of the type mentioned above is known from document DE 20 2019 005 125 U1. Such a parasol adapter consists of a body with two opposing sides, one side designed as a ground attachment interface with several elongated holes, and the other side as a pole mounting interface. Thanks to the elongated holes, a wide variety of ground anchors with three or four holes can be adapted to accommodate the parasol with a variable hole spacing, without the need for further adjustments.
[0003] The invention is based on the object of improving a parasol adapter of the type mentioned above. In particular, the aim is to create a parasol adapter that is even more versatile.
[0004] This object is achieved with a parasol adapter of the type mentioned at the outset by the features listed in the characterising part of claim 1.
[0005] According to the invention, it is therefore provided that the mast receiving interface has additional elongated holes arranged offset from the elongated holes of the ground fastening interface.
[0006] In other words, the parasol adapter according to the invention is characterized in that elongated holes, namely the additional elongated holes, are provided not only on the ground fastening side but also on the mast mounting side, so that a wide variety of parasol masts can be attached to a wide variety of ground anchors (for example parasol stands).
[0007] Other advantageous developments of the parasol adapter according to the invention result from the dependent claims.
[0008] The parasol adapter according to the invention, including its advantageous developments according to the dependent claims, is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing of a preferred embodiment.
[0009] It shows Fig. 1 shows in perspective the parasol adapter according to the invention (from below); Fig. 2 in top view (from below) the parasol adapter according to Fig. 1; Fig. 3 perspective view of the second body part of the parasol adapter according to Fig. 1; Fig. 4 in top view (from below) the second body part according to Fig. 3; Fig. 5 in side view the second body part according to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4; Fig. 6 in plan view the first body part of the parasol adapter according to Fig. 1; and Fig. 7 in plan view an abutment for the parasol adapter according to Fig. 1.
[0010] The parasol adapter illustrated in the figures consists of a preferably substantially flat (at least eight times as long and wide as it is high) body 1 with two opposite sides 1.1, 1.2, with one side 1.1 serving as a ground attachment interface with several elongated holes 1.1.1, and the other side 1.2 serving as a pole attachment interface. The ground attachment interface refers to the side of the body 1 with which it is in contact with any type of "ground" during operation. This ground can be a concrete base with dowels or screw bolts, but can also be a ground anchor. The mast mounting interface is to be provided on the side of the body 1 with which it is connected during operation to the mast of the parasol or a turntable (so that the mounted parasol can be rotated during operation), whereby suitable screws for fixing the mast to the parasol adapter are provided on the mast end facing the parasol adapter.
[0011] In a manner known per se, it is preferably provided that the body 1 is made of metal, in particular optionally stainless steel or aluminum (in particular die-cast aluminum). Furthermore, it is preferably provided (optionally alternatively) that the body 1 is made of sheet metal, preferably with a sheet thickness of at least 4 mm, particularly preferably at least 5 mm. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the body 1 is rotationally symmetrical.
[0012] A key feature of the parasol adapter according to the invention is that the pole mounting interface has additional slots 1.2.1 offset from the slots 1.1.1 of the ground mounting interface. As already explained above, this makes it possible to flexibly connect the parasol adapter not only to the ground but also to the pole.
[0013] Particularly preferably, the body 1 is formed from a first body part 1.10 having the elongated holes 1.1.1 and a second body part 1.20 having the additional elongated holes 1.2.1. It is further preferably provided that the said body parts 1.10, 1.20 are connected to one another in a materially bonded manner, in particular by welding.
[0014] As in Fig. 6, it is further preferably provided that the first body part 1.10 is designed as a flat disc.
[0015] In particular with reference to the Fig. 3 to 5, it is also particularly preferred that the second body part 1.20 is formed from a flat disc with bevels 1.21 provided on both sides next to the additional elongated holes 1.2.1.
[0016] How particularly good Fig. 1, the elongated holes 1.1.1 are preferably arranged extending in a (first) plane. Furthermore, it is particularly preferred that the additional elongated holes 1.2.1 be arranged extending in an additional plane (i.e., a second plane), wherein the second plane runs parallel to and at a distance from the first plane. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the distance between the plane and the additional plane is at least 5 mm, preferably at least 10 mm, particularly preferably at least 15 mm.
[0017] Another special feature is, in particular with reference to Fig. 3, it is preferably provided that in the area between the plane and the additional plane, preferably between the bevels 1.21, each additional slot 1.2.1 is assigned a preferably cuboid-shaped space area 1.22. With reference to Fig. 7, in this context, it is further preferably provided that an abutment 2, preferably having several different threaded holes 2.1, is arranged in said spatial area 1.22. This abutment 2 accommodates the screws provided at the mast end, wherein the thickness of the abutment 2 is naturally selected to match the aforementioned distance between the first and second levels.
[0018] Going into a little more detail, it is also particularly preferably provided that imaginary center lines of either the elongated holes 1.1.1 and / or the additional elongated holes 1.2.1, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the elongated holes 1.1.1 or the additional elongated holes 1.2.1, are designed to intersect a common point on the body 1, preferably a center point of the body 1.
[0019] Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the elongated holes 1.1.1 and / or the additional elongated holes 1.2.1 have a length of at least 40 mm, preferably at least 50 mm, particularly preferably at least 60 mm. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the elongated holes 1.1.1 and / or the additional elongated holes 1.2.1 have a width of at least 10 mm, preferably at least 12 mm.
[0020] With reference to the figures, a total of four elongated holes 1.1.1 and four additional elongated holes 1.2.1 are preferably provided on the body 1. Finally, as also evident from the figures, it is preferably provided that the elongated holes 1.1.1 and / or the additional elongated holes 1.2.1 are arranged at an angle of 90° to one another with respect to their respective longitudinal extent.
