Description

Field of invention

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of bicycle accessories and, in particular, to a bicycle fender mount. State of the art

[0002] Bicycles are equipped with mudguards on the front and rear wheels in conjunction with the frame to prevent water, sand, gravel and other foreign objects lying on the road from being thrown into the air by the tires, and to provide the following protection: 1. Reducing the splashing of water, sand and gravel onto the user; 2. Avoiding splashing of water, sand and gravel onto pedestrians; 3. Reducing the ingress of water, sand and gravel into parts such as brake calipers, switchgear, lights, etc.

[0003] A common method for assembling mudguards is to connect the frame and mudguards using several support rods, with the mudguards positioned over the bicycle tires to achieve the desired purpose of blocking.

[0004] Conventional support rods consist of a single, thin rod profile, with one end connected to the mudguard and the other end to the bicycle frame. Because the support rod's structure is not strong enough, it can easily put stress on the mudguard, causing the support rod to shift or deform. Object of the invention

[0005] The invention is based on the objective of eliminating the aforementioned shortcomings in the prior art through the innovative design of the structure and providing a bicycle mudguard bracket. Technical solution

[0006] According to the above object of the present invention, a bicycle fender mount is provided which can be attached to the two ends of the wheel axle of a frame by means of a plurality of screw nuts and is used to combine with a fender and comprises a plurality of tube seats, a first U-shaped mount and a second U-shaped mount, wherein the tube seats are respectively fitted onto the two ends of the wheel axle in a coordinated manner and are jointly clamped by the frame and the screw nuts, wherein the first U-shaped mount has a first segment at each end and a second segment arranged symmetrically thereto, each of which is combined with the corresponding tube seat. With the above components and the composition, a stable and sufficiently rigid mount can be provided when assembling a fender. Brief description of the drawings Fig. Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment according to the present invention; Fig. Figure 2 shows a schematic exploded view of the subcomponents of the embodiment according to Fig. 1; Fig. Figure 3 shows a schematic exploded view of the subcomponents of the embodiment according to Fig. 2; Fig. Figure 4 shows a schematic sectional view of the embodiment according to the present invention; Fig. Figure 5 shows a schematic view of another embodiment according to the present invention. Detailed description of the implementation examples

[0007] The bicycle mudguard bracket is described in detail below using exemplary embodiments with reference to the figures. The components of the present invention mentioned in these exemplary embodiments are not necessarily shown to scale with regard to their proportions, dimensions, and degrees of deformation and displacement, but only schematically. Identical and symmetrical components are shown with the same reference numerals in the exemplary embodiments. The directional terms used below, such as "front, rear, left, right, top, bottom, inside, and outside" in the description of the exemplary embodiments, are shown according to the direction indicated in the figure and should not be interpreted as limiting the present invention.

[0008] It is based on the Fig. 1 to 4, which show a bicycle mudguard holder according to the invention, which can be attached to the two ends of the wheel axle 92 of a frame 93 by means of a plurality of screw nuts 94 and serves to be combined with a mudguard 91 and comprises a plurality of tube seats 10, a first U-shaped holder 20, a second U-shaped holder 30 and a plurality of ring pieces 50.

[0009] In this arrangement, a wheel axle 92 (prior art) is positioned on the front or rear fork in conjunction with the frame 93, with several locking nuts 94 being provided to clamp and position the wheel axle 92 in conjunction with the frame 93. To facilitate the user's quick assembly or disassembly of the locking nuts 94 without the use of tools during implementation, a lever section 942 extends from one side of each locking nut 94, allowing the user to apply force to turn the locking nut 94.

[0010] Each tube seat 10 has a tube profile of a predetermined length and a shaft hole 12 extending through it along the direction of extension of this tube seat 10. During implementation, the two ends of the wheel axle 92 are inserted into the corresponding shaft holes 12, so that the cut surfaces provided at the two ends of each tube seat 10 bear against the frame 93 and the nuts 94 of the wheel axle 92 and are thus combined with the two ends of the wheel axle 92.

[0011] The first U-shaped bracket 20 has at each end a first segment 22 and a second segment 24 arranged symmetrically to it, each of which is combined with the outer circumferential side of the corresponding tube seat 10.

[0012] The second U-shaped bracket 30 has a third segment 32 and a symmetrically arranged fourth segment 34 at each end, each connected to the first segment 22 and the second segment 24, respectively. In the implementation, an enclosed angle is provided between the first U-shaped bracket 20 and the second U-shaped bracket 30, although the second U-shaped bracket 30 can optionally be omitted.

[0013] The ring pieces 50 surround the outer peripheral side of the wheel axle 92 and are arranged at the two ends of the corresponding tube seat 10, respectively. In the implementation, the ring pieces 50 are made of a soft material (e.g., plastic) to increase the tightness between the intersection surfaces provided at the two ends of a respective tube seat 10 and the frame 93 or the screw nuts 94 (eliminating the gap between them), and also to absorb vibrations during cycling. Furthermore, they can optionally be omitted in the implementation.

[0014] The preceding section described the various components and assembly methods of the bicycle mudguard bracket according to the invention, based on a preferred embodiment. The following section describes the operating characteristics of the embodiment of the present invention.

[0015] First, the nuts 94 located at both ends of the wheel axle 92 are unscrewed. Then, the shaft holes 12 of the tube seats 10 are aligned with the two ends of the wheel axle 92 and placed onto them. Subsequently, the nuts 94 are screwed back onto the two ends of the wheel axle 92 to secure the tube seats 10 to the frame 93 at the two ends of the wheel axle 92. This allows the first and second U-shaped brackets 20, 30 to bridge the outer circumference of the bicycle tire, thus suspending the mudguard 91 above the tire.

[0016] It will be Fig. Reference is made to Figure 5, which shows another embodiment of the screw nut 94 according to the present invention. The lever section 942, which extends from one side of the screw nut 94, can optionally be omitted.

[0017] The above description represents only preferred embodiments of the invention and is not intended to limit the claims. All equivalent changes and modifications that can be made by one skilled in the art in accordance with the description and drawings of the invention are within the scope of the present invention.

[0018] In summary, the present invention relates to a bicycle mudguard bracket that can be attached to the two ends of the wheel axle of a frame by means of several nuts and bolts and serves for combination with a mudguard. The bracket comprises several tube seats, a first U-shaped bracket, and a second U-shaped bracket, wherein the tube seats are each positioned on the two ends of the wheel axle and are clamped together by the frame and the nuts and bolts. The first U-shaped bracket has a first segment and a symmetrically arranged second segment at each end, each of which is combined with the corresponding tube seat. With the above components and assembly, a stable and sufficiently rigid bracket can be provided when assembling a mudguard.
