Abstract
Description
[0001] The conventional tool consists of four parts and is usually kept in a bag made of fabric, leather, or plastic. The (rubber-coated) handle is approximately 40 cm long and can be used as a breaking tool similar to a Halligan tool and for pulling loads. At the head end there is a pickaxe and a (blunt) hatchet. At the lower end of the handle there is a socket with a draw bolt for attaching reciprocating saw blades. When the saw blade is inserted, the open cutout in the hatchet serves as an additional handle, with the tip of the hatchet pointing downwards. The saw blade can be used to saw wood, metal, and laminated safety glass (glass saw). With the scraper plate attached, the tool can be used as a hoe or similar to a folding spade.
