AI Technical Summary
Existing gold crisis provision products are cumbersome and impractical for purchasing small items like bread during a crisis due to their large size and form, making them difficult to use effectively.
A crisis prevention product featuring a stylized apple tree made of black polypropylene with embedded gold balls in specific dimensions and inscriptions, allowing easy access and identification of gold quantities, facilitating easy conversion to gold wire pieces for transactions.
Enables efficient and accessible use of small gold quantities for purchasing necessities during a crisis, ensuring ease of use and visibility for the visually impaired, while maintaining durability and safety.
Abstract
Description
[0001] Gold is a classic crisis preparedness product. Unlike the foodstuffs recommended by the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance, gold has an unlimited shelf life and does not need to be replaced periodically. Financial experts recommend a gold share of five to ten percent in private assets. If private assets amount to €30,000, that's €1,500 to €3,000 that one should own in gold. Currently, €1,500 buys about half an ounce (15.5 grams), and €3,000 buys about one ounce (31.1 grams). If a crisis does occur, despite these provisions, one faces a problem: A half-ounce or full-ounce gold piece is far too large to buy a loaf of bread from the baker. Even if you own the gold in the form of a 1-gram gold bar (currently the smallest commercially available gold unit), you would have to pinch off about a 20th of a 1-gram gold bar with pliers to buy the bread from the baker without wasting gold. Because of this difficulty, switching to the less valuable silver doesn't make sense, since silver is needed much more than gold in industry and technology, and therefore it shouldn't be taken away from these areas.
[0002] The aim of the invention is an easy-to-use crisis preparedness product with small amounts of gold to be able to purchase food in the event of a crisis. Example:
[0003] The crisis preparedness product contains 888 milligrams of gold in a special shape. The crisis preparedness product is a two-dimensional stylized apple tree made of injection-molded black polypropylene. It is approximately 18 cm high, approximately 12 cm wide, and approximately 0.2 cm thick. Nine stylized apples, which are black polypropylene discs, hang from the branches of the stylized apple tree. The nine discs have the following dimensions and properties: Round 1: diameter 16 mm and thickness 1.7 mm Round 2: diameter 18 mm and thickness 1.7 mm Round 3: diameter 20 mm and thickness 1.7 mm Round 4: diameter 24 mm and thickness 2.2 mm Round 5: diameter 26 mm and thickness 2.2 mm Ronde 6: diameter 28 mm and thickness 2.2 mm Ronde 7: diameter 32 mm and thickness 2.7 mm Ronde 8: diameter 34 mm and thickness 2.7 mm Ronde 9: diameter 36 mm and thickness 2.7 mm
[0004] Round 1 has a cylindrical blind hole in the center of one side with a depth of 0.47 mm and a diameter of 0.42 mm.
[0005] Ronde 2 has two cylindrical blind holes of 0.47 mm depth and 0.42 mm diameter on one side, which are arranged rotationally symmetrically at an angle of 180° (opposite) with a radius of 2 mm.
[0006] Ronde 3 has five cylindrical blind holes on one side with a depth of 0.47 mm and a diameter of 0.42 mm, which are arranged rotationally symmetrically at an angle of 72° with a radius of 2 mm.
[0007] Round 4 has a cylindrical blind hole in the center of one side with a depth of 1.00 mm and a diameter of 0.95 mm.
[0008] Ronde 5 has two cylindrical blind holes of 1.00 mm depth and 0.95 mm diameter on one side, which are arranged rotationally symmetrically at an angle of 180° (opposite) with a radius of 3 mm.
[0009] Ronde 6 has five cylindrical blind holes of 1.00 mm depth and 0.95 mm diameter on one side, which are arranged rotationally symmetrically at an angle of 72° with a radius of 3 mm.
[0010] Ronde 7 has a cylindrical blind hole in the center of one side with a depth of 2.15 mm and a diameter of 2.05 mm.
[0011] Ronde 8 has two cylindrical blind holes of 2.15 mm depth and 2.05 mm diameter on one side, which are arranged rotationally symmetrically at an angle of 180° (opposite) with a radius of 4 mm.
[0012] Ronde 9 has five cylindrical blind holes on one side with a depth of 2.15 mm and a diameter of 2.05 mm, which are arranged rotationally symmetrically at an angle of 72° with a radius of 4 mm.
[0013] A total of eight 1-milligram gold balls with a diameter of 0.47 mm are pressed into the blind holes of rounds 1, 2 and 3.
[0014] A total of eight 10-milligram gold balls with a diameter of 1.00 mm are pressed into the blind holes of rounds 4, 5 and 6.
[0015] A total of eight 100-milligram gold balls with a diameter of 2.15 mm are pressed into the blind holes of rounds 7, 8 and 9.
[0016] Because the diameter of the blind holes is slightly smaller than the diameter of the gold balls, the gold balls fit securely in the blind holes. The discs also bear the following injection-molded inscriptions: Ronde 1: “Manufacturer name 1 mg Au 9999” Ronde 2: “Manufacturer name 2 mg Au 9999” Ronde 3: “Manufacturer name 5 mg Au 9999” Ronde 4: “Manufacturer name 10 mg Au 9999” Ronde 5: “Manufacturer name 20 mg Au 9999” Ronde 6: “Manufacturer name 50 mg Au 9999” Ronde 7: “Manufacturer name 100 mg Au 9999” Ronde 8: “Manufacturer name 200 mg Au 9999” Ronde 9: “Manufacturer name 500 mg Au 9999”
[0017] Each disc contains 1, 2, or 5 symmetrically arranged gold spheres, each containing 1, 10, or 100 milligrams of gold. These gold quantities of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 500 milligrams are clearly visible and can be felt by the blind. Even without reading or feeling the markings, the gold content of the discs is clearly visible. The disc size (0.47 mm, 1.00 mm, or 2.15 mm in diameter) and the number of spheres (1, 2, or 5) are clearly visible at a glance. The diameter and thickness of the disc are also another good distinguishing feature. Black polypropylene is ideal for the tree and discs because this plastic is cost-effective, harmless to health, resistant to acid tests, machine washable, and suitable for pressing in the gold spheres. Black polypropylene and gold also look beautiful together. Polypropylene is easy to injection mold, and the gold balls are easily produced by melting and solidifying pieces of gold wire.
[0018] This crisis preparedness product is sold sealed in transparent foil. In the event of a crisis, the foil is opened and the required round pieces are cut from the "tree" with a knife or scissors, allowing them to purchase food without wasting gold.
