Stop and folding stake for trailers

Abstract

A side-mounted and folding stanchion for trailers that is secured in position by two bolts. It is characterized by the fact that the side-mounted stanchion (4) is locked horizontally in the device. The locking is achieved by the upper bolt (1) and the lower bolt (2) between the side plates (3).

Description

Description (in the following description I refer to pages 3 and 4)

[0001] The folding stop stanchion (4) is designed to spatially limit the load on the trailer and prevent it from rolling off. By repositioning the bolts, the stanchion can be either folded away or attached to the side.

[0002] The stop folding stanchion (4) is laterally limited by the side plates (3). The inserted bolts: upper bolt (1) and lower bolt (2) fix the stanchion in place and prevent it from twisting or folding away. The stop plate (5) connects the side plates together and is the stop for Fig. 3. The entire system is welded / attached to the corresponding vehicle on the surfaces (6) of the side panels (3). Fig. 2 Folding the stanchion: (From normal state) If the upper bolt (1) is pulled, the stanchion folds downwards by creating a pivot point around the lower bolt (2). Fig. 3 Attaching the stake: (From normal state) When the lower bolt (2) is pulled, the pillar swings sideways, creating a pivot point around the upper bolt (1). The stop plate (5) allows the pillar to be rotated only until it rests against the stop plate. This allows the pillar to be attached horizontally. Claims

[1] Stop and folding stanchion for trailers which is guided laterally and locked in position by two bolts. Characterized by that the stop and folding stanchion (4) is locked horizontally in the device. The locking is achieved by the upper bolt (1) and the lower bolt (2) between the side plates (3). [2] Stop and folding stanchion according to claim 1, Characterized by that when the upper bolt (1) is pulled, the stop and folding stake (4) rotates around the lower bolt (2) and can thus be folded down completely. [3] Stop and folding stake according to one of the preceding claims Characterized by that when the lower bolt (2) is pulled, the stop and folding stake (4) rotates around the upper bolt (1) and can thus be stopped in a vertical position on the stop plate (5). [4] Stop and folding stake according to one of the preceding claims Characterized bythat when both the upper bolt (1) and the lower bolt (2) are pulled, the stop and folding stanchion (4) can be completely removed.
