Description

[0001] Title of the invention: Device for the mechanical cleaning of wells. Technical field: The invention relates to a device for the mechanical cleaning of well walls, in particular for the regeneration of drinking water and process water wells.

[0002] State of the art: Wells age over time due to deposits on the filter sections and well walls (e.g., iron oxide deposits, sinter formation). Currently, the cleaning and regeneration of such wells predominantly relies on high-pressure flushing using nozzles or the application of chemical cleaning agents. These methods are often technically complex, expensive, and inflexible. Simple mechanical brushes are often not robust enough for well use or cannot be flexibly adjusted to the well depth.

[0003] The problem underlying the invention (objective): The invention aims to provide a device that enables effective, purely mechanical cleaning of wells without the need for chemicals or complex high-pressure technology. The device should be modular, robust against corrosion, and easy to use.

[0004] Solution to the problem: This problem is solved by a device with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. The device according to the invention consists of a well brush with a central base body and radial bristles. It is essential that the base body is hollow (throughout) and has threads at both ends.

[0005] Advantages of the invention: The design according to the invention offers several advantages: 1. Modularity: Thanks to the threads on both sides, the brush can be flexibly integrated into a rod. It is possible to connect several brushes in series to increase the cleaning area. 2. Flushability: The axial through-opening (hollow cylinder) allows water to flow through the brush during the brushing process. This prevents a "piston effect" in the well pipe and enables the simultaneous pumping out or flushing of clear water through the rod. 3. Environmental friendliness: The mechanical cleaning action of the special plastic bristles replaces the use of chemicals in many cases. 4. Material: The plastic construction prevents corrosion and is hygienically safe for drinking water applications.

[0006] An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing. The figure shows the well brush in a perspective top view. The device comprises a solid, cylindrical base body made of plastic [1]. The base body has a central, through-hole [2]. A thread [3], preferably an internal thread, is located on each of the two end faces of the base body. This thread is either cut directly into the plastic core or formed as an insert. This thread serves to accommodate suitable rods or adapters. A plurality of stiff plastic bristles [4] are attached to the outer circumference of the base body. These bristles project radially outwards and form a dense brush surface. The bristles are designed to mechanically loosen incrustations on the well wall without damaging the well pipe (see image in the appendix).

Claims
