Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an innovative attachment for the handle end of a handle guided device. The attachment is mounted on the shank end during intended mounting along an (imaginary) mounting axis of the attachment. Handle-guided appliances are to be understood in particular as cleaning appliances such as brooms and floor wipers, but also garden appliances and the like.Various handle attachments for cleaning devices are known from the prior art. Thus, simple caps made of plastic with eyes are widely used, on which the cleaning appliance can be suspended. Furthermore, there are ergonomically shaped spherical attachments made of metal or plastic with holes for hanging in wall hooks. The attachments are in part larger than the handle of the cleaning appliance. When the cleaning appliance falls over, the impact can be partially damped. Also, the material of the spherical attachments may be antislip to allow improved cleaning implement doming. These known solutions in practice sometimes achieve inadequate shock absorption. Also, the stick-guided devices can still fall over slightly when leaning against the wall, despite anti-slip material. When the overturned cleaning appliance is lifted, it may happen that the ground is touched and one slips off when gripping the handle. The object of the present invention is to at least partially eliminate the disadvantages described above. More particularly, it is an object of the invention to provide a handle end attachment for a handle guided implement which provides improved shock absorption, facilitates leaning against a wall or other surface, and helps to receive the implement from the ground. The object is achieved according to the invention by an attachment for a stick-guided device having the features of claim 1 and a stick-guided device according to claim 10. These may each individually or in combination form an aspect of the invention.According to the invention, it is provided that the attachment has a shock-absorbing spacer element, wherein the spacer element has at least one first positioning edge for positioning the device on a wall or for positioning the device on the ground, wherein the spacer element has a maximum radial distance from the mounting axis to an outer dimension of the spacer element of at least 2.5 cm, and is formed at least on its outer dimensions partially from a soft, shock-absorbing material, in particular from plastic or rubber. Thereby, shocks upon dropping of the apparatus are attenuated and noises are reduced. The attachment can also be formed only by the spacer element. The "outer dimension" of the spacer element is understood in the sense of the present invention to mean the outermost radial extent or the outer contour of the spacer element, measured perpendicular to the mounting axis. This can be formed, for example, by projections, edges or outlines of the attachment. The attachment is preferably designed such that the maximum radial distance is at least 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 cm and is in particular in the range between 7.5 cm and 25 cm.The attachment can have a second setting edge, wherein the second setting edge is preferably arranged opposite the first setting edge.In an advantageous embodiment, the spacer element has a rectangular cross section. In this case, the spacer element has four positioning edges. The cross section can also be square. Particularly preferably, the spacer element is of cuboidal or plate-shaped design. The height of the rectangular spacer element is preferably in the range between 1 cm and 7 cm. The corners of the spacer element are preferably rounded. In order to achieve a secure leaning of the handle-guided device against the wall, it is preferably provided that one or more of the adjusting edges each have an edge length in the range of 5-40 cm, in particular in the range of 10 cm-20 cm. The adjusting edges are preferably formed in a straight line.In an advantageous embodiment, the distance from the mounting axis to one or more adjusting edges is in the range of 4 cm-20 cm, in particular in the range of 5 cm-15 cm.In order to enable the attachment to be fastened to the handle, a central bore is provided in the spacer element along the mounting axis. The stem can be passed through the bore.In a particularly preferred embodiment, the attachment is formed by the shock-absorbing spacer element and a cylindrical body for attachment to the handle-shaped device. The cylindrical body can also be designed as a hollow body and can be plugged onto the handle. The cylindrical body can be designed as a handle. The cylindrical body and the spacer element can be arranged such that the cylindrical body is arranged at the stem-side end when mounted as intended. This means that the spacer element is arranged between the stem and the cylindrical body. This arrangement makes the operation of the handle-guided device ergonomically advantageous.Alternatively, the spacer element can be arranged at the stem-side end.In order to enable suspension of the handle-guided device, at least one opening or recess can be provided, wherein the opening or recess is preferably provided in the spacer element.According to the invention, the object is also achieved by a stick-guided device having an attachment with the features set out above.Further features and advantages of the invention are apparent from the following description of preferred exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawings. In the drawings, the following shows: FIG. 1 shows a broom with a handle attachment according to the invention, and FIG. 2 shows the attachment with handle and shock-absorbing spacer element in detail.FIG. 1 shows a stick-guided device designed as a broom 1 with an attachment 3 according to the invention. The attachment 3 comprises a cylindrical hollow body 5 designed as a handle and a shock-absorbing spacer element 4.The spacer element 4 is cuboidal with four setting edges and has a substantially square cross section. The corners are rounded. Two opposing adjusting edges of the spacer element are arranged parallel to the broom head. The broom rests with one of the adjusting edges on the wall. The handle 5 is arranged above the spacer element 4.FIG. 2 shows the attachment with handle and shock-absorbing spacer element from FIG. 1 in detail. The cuboid or plate-shaped structure of the spacer element with the handle attached thereto can be seen. The corners of the spacer element are rounded. The mounting axis is a reference axis and is shown in FIG. 2 as a dash-dotted line.List of reference numbers:1 Besen 2 besen handle 3 handle attachment 4 shock-absorbing spacer element 5 cylindrical body / handle M mounting axis R radial distance from the mounting axis
