Abstract
Device (10) for measuring the strength of a current flow along an elongated electrical conductor (14), comprising: a magnetically permeable structure (12); a first magnetic field sensor (28, 30, 38, 40, 42, 44); a second magnetic field sensor (28, 30, 38, 40, 42, 44); and an elastic holding structure (20) arranged in a space partially enclosed by the magnetically permeable structure (12); wherein the elastic holding structure (20) has a receiving area (26) which extends parallel to a line through the magnetic field sensors (28, 30, 38, 40, 42, 44); and wherein the elastic retaining structure (20) enables the elongated electrical conductor (14) to be inserted transversely to a longitudinal axis (L) of the elongated electrical conductor (14) into the receiving area (26) while simultaneously allowing reversible deformation of the elastic retaining structure (20).
