Description

The invention relates to a blade ring timber chipper comprising a device for the detachable connection of a shaft of a drive of the blade ring timber chipper to a beater wheel of the blade ring timber chipper. The shaft is preferably a cylindrical solid shaft or a cylindrical hollow shaft.By use, cutter ring wood chippers are known with which wood chips are produced from fresh wood chips or recycled wood, which are used, for example, for producing particle boards, which in turn are intended for use in the furniture or construction industry.A cutter ring timber chipper is also known from DE 20 2023 104 286 U1.In a cutter ring wood chipper, the machining takes place by a cutter ring which rotates in the opposite direction to a beater wheel. By means of the beater wheel, wood to be comminuted introduced into the cutter ring timber chipper is moved by centrifugal forces in the direction of the cutter ring. Between the cutter ring and the club wheel, a gap is formed which is bounded by a knife of the cutter ring and a striking strip of the club wheel. Due to the movement of the cutter ring in the opposite direction to the beater wheel, the wood to be comminuted, which is larger than the gap, is comminuted and guided through the cutter ring into a collection device for comminuted wood for further use. Also known are cutter ring timber chippers in which the cutter ring is fixed. In the cutter ring timber chippers known from the prior art, a hub of the beater wheel is directly mounted on a cylindrical shaft. When the club wheel is changed, for example for replacing worn striking plates, considerable effort is required to separate the club wheel from the shaft. The object of the invention is therefore to provide a cutter ring timber chipper of the type mentioned at the beginning, from which a beater wheel can be removed particularly easily.According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the connecting device has a bushing which is at least partially frustoconical. The frustoconical region forms an outer contour of the bushing, while an inner contour is circular cylindrical.A diameter of the bushing in the frustoconical region decreases in the direction of the club wheel when installed as intended.Because the bushing is frustoconical at least in regions, a particularly simple and easily detachable connection of the shaft of the drive of the cutter ring timber chipper and the beater wheel can be achieved. The conicity also ensures that the bushing, when a club wheel is installed in the cutter ring wood chipper, moves guided into an assembly end position. An additional guide is advantageously not required.Expediently, the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical, is arranged between the shaft and the beater wheel in a radial direction of the shaft of the drive of the cutter ring timber chipper.Advantageously, the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical, can act as an adapter, by means of which the shaft of the cutter ring wood chipper can be connected to the beater wheel in a rotationally fixed manner. The shaft is connectable in a rotationally fixed manner to the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical. For this purpose, the shaft can have a groove on the outside and the bushing on the inside, in each case, in which a feather key engages in order to form a rotationally fixed connection. It is also advantageous to provide a replaceable connecting element by means of the bushing, by means of which the service life of the cutter ring wood chipper is considerably extended. Whereas mechanical damage was conceivable hitherto when separating the shaft of the cutter ring timber chipper from the hub of the beater wheel, it is ensured by an exchangeable connecting element such as the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical, that damage only occurs on such a component which is exchangeable in a simple manner. In one embodiment of the invention, the connecting device has a centering means which projects from the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical and which preferably comprises a centering pin.Advantageously, a particularly simple installation of a club wheel is possible. In addition to the conicity of the at least regional frustoconical bushing, the centering means creates a further guide which, on the one hand, enables a particularly simple connection of a hub of the club wheel to the bushing and, on the other hand, ensures a secure and positionally accurate latching-in of a feather key for the rotationally fixed connection of the hub and bushing.A longitudinal axis of the centering mandrel is parallel to an axis of rotation of the at least partially frustoconical bushing. It is understood that the centering pin protrudes in the direction of the club wheel to be installed. In a further embodiment of the invention, the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical, can be detachably connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the club wheel, in particular to a hub of the club wheel. For this purpose, the bushing, which is frustoconical in some regions, can have a groove on the outside in a conical region and the hub on the inside, in each case, in which a feather key engages in order to form a rotationally fixed connection. In one embodiment of the invention, an end face of the bushing, which is facing the beater wheel and is at least partially frustoconical, is covered by a cover when the cutter ring timber chipper is used as intended.Advantageously, contamination and damage to the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical, are effectively prevented. By means of the cover, the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical, is spatially separated from an interior of the cutter ring timber chipper, into which wood to be comminuted is introduced. The cover can be formed in two parts, for example, wherein a first part can cover an end face of the shaft and a second part can cover an end face of the bushing, which is at least partially frustoconical. An apparatus according to the invention for receiving a beater wheel to be removed from a cutter ring wood chipper is characterized in that the receiving apparatus can be detachably attached to a removal device provided for removing a cutter ring from the cutter ring wood chipper. In a cutter ring wood chipper, a cutter ring must be replaced after approximately eight hours of use due to wear. For this purpose, the removal device has two rods which can be moved synchronously hydraulically horizontally out of the cutter ring wood chipper and against which the cutter ring can bear for its removal from the cutter ring wood chipper. In the installed state of the knife ring, a distance between the rods and the knife ring is only a few millimeters, so that the latter can sink directly onto the rods after releasing locking screws.Because the receiving device is attached to the removal device, in particular the movable rods, one and the same removal device can advantageously be used for the knife ring and the beater wheel. The receiving device acts as an adapter that enables dual use.Expediently, the receiving device is height-adjustable.Advantageously, the receiving device can be used with club wheels of different sizes without adapting the cutter ring timber chipper. Due to the height adjustability, the beater wheel can even be removed horizontally from the cutter ring timber chipper, so that its tilting is prevented.Overall, simpler removal is possible.A diameter of a striking wheel from an axis of rotation to an outer point of a striking plate in the radial direction changes during an intended use of the striking wheel, since due to wear of the striking plates and of a knife ring, the striking plates are readjusted in the radial direction of the striking wheel in such a way that a gap between the knife ring and the striking wheel remains substantially constant. As a result of this readjustment, the diameter of the beater wheel increases. This increase in diameter can be compensated for by the height adjustability of the receiving device, i.e. the beater wheel can be removed horizontally from a cutter ring timber chipper device independently of its wear and can be placed on the receiving device without overcoming a height difference. For height adjustment, a plurality, preferably two screws can be provided on opposite sides of the receiving device, for example, which for contact with two rods of a removal device for the beater wheel, which rods can be moved synchronously hydraulically horizontally out of the cutter ring timber chipper device. By rotating the screws, a vertical distance of the receiving device from the horizontal rods can be changed, so that the receiving device is height-adjustable.The inventors have further recognized that a height adjustability of only 3 to 15 mm is sufficient to enable a worn beater wheel to be easily removed from the cutter ring timber chipper. In a further embodiment of the invention, the receiving device comprises a height adjustment means with a thread which, for height adjustment, engages in a receiving pocket in such a way that by rotation thereof height adjustment relative to the extraction device is effected. For this purpose, the height adjustment means can be a screw or comprise a screw of this type, the screw head of which can be rotated by standard tools. Advantageously, a height adjustment relative to the removal device can be effected with simple tools. The receiving pocket can be formed laterally integrally on the receiving device, for example welded on.In one embodiment of the invention, the receiving device comprises a curved central region which extends between two connecting means, by means of which the receiving device can be detachably connected to the removal device for the knife ring. The curved region preferably has a curvature which is adapted or adaptable to a curvature of the club wheel, that is to say its radius.Advantageously, a particularly large contact surface is created, whereby a tilting over of the club wheel during its removal is effectively prevented.Expediently, a wear protection means is introduced into the curved central region, which lies partially over or over the entire surface of the curved central region. The antiwear agent can comprise a antiwear plate which is formed from a plastic or steel and which bears partially over or over the entire surface against the curved region. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments and the appended drawings relating to the exemplary embodiments. The following are shown: FIGS. 1a, b show an embodiment of a blade ring wood chipper according to the invention, FIGS. 2 a, b show an embodiment of a device according to the invention for receiving a beater wheel to be removed from a cutter ring timber chipper.A cutter ring wood chipper 1 shown in FIG. 1 ain a perspective view and in FIG. 1 bin a partial exploded view comprises a drive shaft 2 and a beater wheel 3, wherein the beater wheel is set in rotation by rotation of the drive shaft 2.On a side 4 facing the beater wheel 3, the cutter ring timber cutting device has a connecting device 5 which comprises a frusto-conical bushing 6, which in turn can be connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive shaft 2 and in a rotationally fixed manner to the beater wheel 3 and is connected in this exemplary embodiment. The respective rotationally fixed connection is releasable. For this purpose, a feather key 7 is used in this exemplary embodiment. The rotationally fixed connection of the frustoconical bushing 6 to a hub 8 of the club wheel 3 is formed by the key 7 being inserted into an outer-side groove 9 in the frustoconical bushing 6 and into an inner-side groove 10 in the hub 8.In addition, a centering pin 11 protrudes in the direction of the beater wheel 3, which ensures centering of the beater wheel 3 when it is inserted into the cutter ring timber chipper 1. In particular, the centering pin 11 makes it possible for the feather key 9 to engage particularly quickly in the grooves 9, 10. In contrast to conventional keys, which can be selected for such a connection, the key 9 is higher and, when introduced into the groove 9, is provided with a chamfer on the side facing the groove 10. This advantageously facilitates the introduction thereof into the groove 10 considerably.A longitudinal axis of the centering mandrel 11 and a rotational axis of the frusto-conical sleeve 6 are parallel.A two-part cover 12 covers an end face 13 of the frustoconical bushing 6 facing the club wheel 3 and an end face of the shaft 2. This advantageously ensures that no soiling can enter between bushing 6 and hub 8 or between shaft 2 and bushing 6.Reference is now made to FIG. 2, in which identical or identically acting parts are denoted by the same reference numeral as in FIG. 1 and the respective reference numeral is in each case appended with the letter a.A blade ring wood chipper 1 ashown in FIG. 2 ain a perspective cutaway view and a device 14, shown in detail in FIG. 2 b, for receiving a beater wheel 3 ato be removed from the blade ring wood chipper 1 ais attached in this exemplary embodiment to hydraulically horizontally movable rods 15 of a removal device 16, which is provided for removing a blade ring not shown in FIG. 2.A central region 17 of the receiving device 14 is curved, wherein a curvature is adapted to a radius of the club wheel 3 ain such a way that the club wheel abuts the central region 17 over the almost entire curvature. In the central region, a curved wear plate 18 is also fitted, which bears over its entire surface against the central region 17.By means of two connecting means 19, each comprising a bolt 20, the receiving device 14 can be detachably connected to the movable rods 15 of the removal device 16 and is connected in this exemplary embodiment. The connection can be formed in that the receiving device 14 is lowered with a load lift truck or a fork lift truck from above the rods in the direction of the rods 15 in such a way that the bolts 20 engage in bolt receiving pockets not provided with a reference sign and thereby fix the receiving device 14 in a fixed position with respect to the removal device 16.The receiving device 14 is height-adjustable by a total of four screws 21, two of which can be seen in FIG. 2 b. For this purpose, the screws 21 are mounted in pairs on opposite sides of the receiving device 14, rest with a screw head 22 in recesses 23 on the rods 15 and engage with their threads in threaded pockets 24, which are formed laterally integrally on the receiving device 14. By rotating the screws 21 on their screw heads 22, the height of the receiving device 14 can be adjusted with respect to the rods 15, i.e. the extraction device 16.For reasons of clarity, not all features in each of the figures are provided with a reference sign.References included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
