Description

Technical field

[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of vehicle production and manufacturing, and in particular to a tolerance compensator and a vehicle. State of the art

[0002] With the increasing trend towards lightweight automotive construction, mounting other components requires fasteners such as screws or rivets to be inserted through mounting holes in both the components and thin wall panels. The components are then attached to the thin wall panels by tightening the screws or rivets. Due to manufacturing tolerances present in both the components and the thin wall panels, inserting the screws or rivets into the mounting holes can be impossible or extremely difficult. This necessitates adjusting the positions of the components or the thin wall panels and then re-inserting the screws, resulting in low assembly efficiency. Therefore, there is a pressing need for a structure capable of accommodating these tolerances to improve assembly efficiency. Content of the present application

The character " / " generally indicates that the relationship between preceding and subsequent associated objects is "or".

[0023] With the increasing trend towards lightweight automotive construction, mounting other components requires fasteners such as screws or rivets to be inserted through mounting holes in both the components and thin wall panels.

[0024] To solve the aforementioned technical problems, as described in Fig. Figure 1 shows that in some embodiments of the present application a tolerance compensator is provided. The tolerance compensator can comprise a base body 10, an adjusting fastening element 20, and a bushing 30. When a component to be mounted is attached to a vehicle body, a tolerance between the component to be mounted and the vehicle body can be accommodated by the interaction of the base body 10, the adjusting fastening element 20, and the bushing 30.

[0025] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the base body 10 forms a first perforated part 11 and a second perforated part 12. The diameter of the first perforated part 11 can be smaller than that of the second perforated part 12, thus forming a boundary surface 13. The base body 10 can include a projection 14 located in the second perforated part 12 and on a perforated wall that bounds the second perforated part 12. The projection 14 can be spaced apart from the boundary surface 13. The adjusting fastening element 20 can include a fastening part 21 and a boundary part 22. The fastening part 21 can be located in the first perforated part 11 and spaced apart from a perforated wall that defines the first perforated part 11. The boundary part 22 can be located in the second perforated part 12 and spaced apart from the perforated wall that defines the second perforated part 12. The limiting part 22 can abut the limiting surface 13 in an axial direction of the second hole part 12.The bushing 30 can be clamped or engaged between the projection 14 and the limiting part 22. In this case, the base body 10 can be used to assemble the component to be mounted on a thin wall plate. The base body 10 forms the first perforated part 11 and the second perforated part 12. The fastening part 21 can be arranged in the first perforated part 11 and spaced apart from the perforated wall that defines the first perforated part 11, and the limiting part 22 can be arranged in the second perforated part 12 and spaced apart from the perforated wall that defines the second perforated part 12.When assembling the component to be mounted with the thin wall plate using the fastener 20, if there is an assembly tolerance between the component to be mounted and a mounting hole defined in the thin wall plate, the fastening part 21 is able to move in the first hole section 11, while the limiting part 22 can move in the second hole section 12. In this way, the assembly tolerance between the component to be mounted and the thin wall plate can be accommodated by the adjusting fastener 20 when the component to be mounted is fastened or locked to the thin wall plate using the adjusting fastener 20. The diameter of the first hole section 11 can be smaller than the diameter of the second hole section 12 to form the limiting surface 13.The limiting part 22 can bear against the limiting surface 13 in the axial direction of the second hole part 12, so that the adjusting fastening element 20 can fix the component to be mounted to the thin-walled panel. The base body 10 can encompass the projection 14, which is arranged in the second hole part 12. The projection 14 can be spaced apart from the limiting surface 13. The bushing 30 can be clamped or engaged in the projection 14 in a radial direction of the second hole part 12. The bushing 30 can also bear between the projection 14 and the limiting part 22 in the axial direction of the second hole part 12. After fixing the adjusting fastening element 20, the limiting part 22 can be limited in the axial direction of the second hole part 12 by the interaction of the bushing 30 and the limiting surface 13 in order to reduce the occurrence of loosening of the adjusting fastening element 20.

[0026] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, a gap can be defined in the axial direction of the second hole section 12 between the limiting part 22 and the limiting surface 13. When the fastening part 21 is screwed and locked to the component to be mounted, the adjusting fastening element 20 is movable in the axial direction of the second hole section 12 between the bushing 30 and the limiting surface 13.

[0027] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. 3 and Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the tolerance compensator can further comprise a housing 40. The housing 40 can define a mounting hole 41. The base body 10 can be arranged in the mounting hole 41. A threaded portion 411 can be arranged on a wall that defines the mounting hole 41. A threaded groove 15 can be defined in a side wall of the base body 10 facing the wall of the hole that defines the mounting hole 41. The threaded portion 411 and the threaded groove 15 can extend in an axial direction of the base body 10. The threaded portion 411 can be arranged in the threaded groove 15. The housing 40 can be integrated with the thin-walled panel of a vehicle; or the housing 40 can be a separate component that is independent of the thin-walled panel of the vehicle. The mounting hole 41 defined in the housing 40 can be configured to mount or receive the base body 10.The base body 10 can be rotatably mounted in the mounting hole 41 along an axial direction by means of the interaction between the threaded part 411 and the threaded groove 15. In some embodiments, the first hole part 11 can be positioned on a side close to the thin-walled panel of the vehicle, and the second hole part 12 can be positioned on a side away from the thin-walled panel of the vehicle. After the adjusting fastener 20 has been mounted in the first hole part 11 and in the second hole part 12, the fastening part 21 of the adjusting fastener 20 can be passed through the first hole part 11 and extend into the fastening hole defined in the thin-walled panel, so that the housing 40 and the base body 10 can be fastened to the thin-walled panel via the adjusting fastener 20.

[0028] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. 3 and Fig. As shown in Figure 4, a plurality of threaded parts 411 can be arranged at intervals in a radial direction of the mounting hole 41, and a plurality of threaded grooves 15 can be arranged at intervals in the radial direction of the mounting hole 41. Each threaded part 411 and its corresponding threaded groove 15 can be identical. A guide opening 151 can be defined on one side of each threaded groove 15, and the guide opening 151 can be configured to guide the corresponding threaded part 411 when the corresponding threaded part 411 is mounted in the threaded groove 15. In some embodiments, for each threaded groove 15, the depth of the guide opening 151 can be greater than the depth of the threaded groove 15 in the radial direction of the mounting hole 41, and the width of the guide opening 151 can be greater than the width of the threaded groove 15 in a circumferential direction of the mounting hole 41.

[0029] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the width of the threaded groove 15 can be greater than the width of the threaded portion 411 in the axial direction of the mounting hole 41, in order to form a space between the threaded portion 411 and the side wall of the threaded groove 15. The configuration of this space allows for adjustment of the relative positions of the base body 10 and the housing 40, enabling the base body 10 to move in the axial direction of the mounting hole 41. In this way, tolerances between the housing 40, the thin-walled plate, and the base body 10 can be accommodated by moving the base body 10 and the housing 40 in the axial direction of the mounting hole 41, which can facilitate the assembly of the housing 40, the thin-walled plate, and the base body 10.After the base body 10 has been mounted in the mounting hole 41, the adjusting fastener 20 can be locked so that it aligns with the mounting hole defined in the thin-walled plate. In this case, if the tolerances of the thin-walled plate and / or the housing 40 result in a larger mounting tolerance between the thin-walled plate and the housing 40, this tolerance can be accommodated by adjusting the axial displacement of the base body 10 without having to adjust the relative positions of the thin-walled plate and the housing 40, thus simplifying the assembly process. In some embodiments, the distance between the threaded part 411 and the side wall of the threaded groove 15 can be between 0 and 5 mm.

[0030] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the mounting hole 41, the first hole part 11, and the second hole part 12 can be arranged coaxially, and the first hole part 11 can be connected to the second hole part 12 or fluidically coupled. The first hole part 11, which is connected to the second hole part 12, allows the fastening part 21 of the adjusting fastening element 20 to be positioned in the first hole part 11, while the limiting part 22 of the adjusting fastening element 20 is positioned in the second hole part 12. Furthermore, the first hole part 11 and the second hole part 12 are arranged coaxially, thus reducing the difficulty of defining a hole in the base body 10. In a case where the mounting hole 41, the first hole part 11, and the second hole part 12 are arranged coaxially, it may also be possible to reduce the difficulty of defining the mounting hole 41.

[0031] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the diameter of the fastening part 21 can be smaller than the diameter of the limiting part 22. The fastening part 21 can pass through the first hole part 11. The limiting part 22 can be arranged in the second hole part 12. A fastening thread 211 can be formed on the fastening part 21. A first gap D1 can be formed between the fastening part 21 and a hole wall of the first hole part 11. A second gap D2 can be formed between the limiting part 22 and the second mounting hole 41. The length of the first gap D1 in a radial direction of the first hole part 11 can be between 0 and 3 mm. The length of the second gap D2 in the radial direction of the second hole part 12 can be greater than the length of the first gap D1. As shown in Figure 2. Fig. As shown in Figure 2, a distance defined in the radial direction of the first hole section 11 between the left side of the fastening element 21 and the hole wall of the first hole section 11 can be defined as the first distance D1. A distance defined in the radial direction of the first hole section 11 between the right side of the fastening element 21 and the hole wall of the first hole section 11 can also be defined as the first distance D1. The length of the first distance D1 in the radial direction can be between 0 and 3 mm, i.e., the range of tolerance that can be accommodated by the adjusting fastening element 20 in the radial direction can be between 0 and 3 mm.

[0032] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the base body 10 can comprise a plurality of projections 14. The plurality of projections 14 can be arranged at intervals on the hole wall of the second hole part 12. The plurality of projections 14 can be spaced axially from the boundary surface 13 of the second hole part 12, such that an engagement groove 16 can be formed between the plurality of projections 14 and the boundary surface 13. The engagement groove 16 can be configured to receive and engage the bushing 30, i.e., the bushing 30 can snap into or engage with the engagement groove 16. For each projection 14, the projection 14 can have a first width in the radial direction of the second hole part 12, and the first width of the projection 14 gradually increases in the axial direction from the side furthest from the boundary surface 13 to the side closest to the boundary surface 13.A third gap D3 can be formed between the plurality of projections 14 and the boundary surface 13 in the axial direction of the second hole part 12. The width of the engagement groove 16 in the axial direction of the second hole part 12 can be greater than the combined width of the boundary part 22 and the bushing 30. As the bushing 30 moves from the side furthest from the first hole part 11 towards the first hole part 11 and continues to engage in the engagement groove 16, the boundary part 22 can be moved to rest against the boundary surface 13, and the bushing 30 can rest between the boundary part 22 and the projection 14. The position of the boundary part 22 in the axial direction of the second hole part 12 can be fixed by the bushing 30.However, since the width of the engagement groove 16 in the axial direction of the second hole part 12 is greater than the total width of the limiting part 22 and the bushing 30, the limiting part 22 can be movable between the bushing 30 and the limiting surface 13, so that the limiting part 22 can be movable in the axial direction of the second hole part 12.

[0033] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the adjusting fastener 20 can be a screw. The screw can comprise a nut 221, a flange 222, and a screw spindle. The nut 221, the flange 222, and the screw spindle can be configured as an integral structure. The flange 222 can be positioned between the nut 221 and the screw spindle. The nut 221 can be the head of the adjusting fastener 20. The flange 222 can abut the boundary surface 13. The fastening thread 211 can be formed on the screw spindle. The screw spindle can pass through the first hole portion 11 and engage in threaded connection with the fastening hole defined in the thin-walled plate to achieve fastening. The nut 221 can be configured to interact with a fastening tool. The flange 222 is configured as a boundary portion 22.The bushing 30 can rest in the axial direction of the second hole portion 12 between the flange 222 and the projection 14. The width of the engagement groove 16 in the axial direction of the second hole portion 12 can be greater than the combined width of the flange 222 and the bushing 30.

[0034] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. 6 and Fig. As shown in Figure 7, the bushing 30 can define a first recess 31 and a second recess 32. A portion of the adjusting fastener 20 (e.g., a portion of the nut 221) can be located in the first recess 31. The second recess 32 can be located on an outer surface of the first recess 31 in the radial direction of the first recess 31. In some embodiments, a plurality of second recesses 32 can be defined. The plurality of second recesses 32 can be spaced at intervals in a radial direction of the first recess 31. The plurality of second recesses 32 can be arcuate holes. The bushing 30 can be a circular bushing 30. The first recess 31 can be a circular hole formed by defining an opening in the bushing 30 that is coaxial with the adjusting fastener 20. As shown in Figure 7, the bushing 30 can be a circular hole formed by defining an opening in the bushing 30 that is coaxial with the adjusting fastener 20. Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the head of the adjusting fastener 20 can be passed through the first recess 31. A fourth gap D4 can be formed between a hole wall defining the first recess 31 and the nut 221. In this way, the adjusting fastener 20 is movable within the first recess 31, allowing it to move within the first hole section 11 and the second hole section 12 to accommodate the tolerance. Furthermore, the fastening tool can be enabled to penetrate the fourth gap D4 to grip the head for rotating fastening. The second recesses 32 can be arranged as arc-shaped holes surrounding the outside of the first recess 31 in the radial direction of the first recess 31. A first side wall can be arranged between the second recesses 32 and the first recess 31 in a radial direction of the bushing 30.A second side wall can be arranged on the side of the second recess 32, which is furthest from the first recess 31, in the radial direction of the bushing 30. The first and second side walls can serve as support structures for the bushing 30. In some embodiments, a projection of the flange 222 onto the bushing 30 can cover the first recess 31; in this way, the flange 222 can abut the first side wall.

[0035] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. 6 and Fig. As shown in Figure 7, the bushing 30 can further comprise a plurality of engagement parts 34. Each engagement part 34 can be located on an outer side of the corresponding second recesses 32 in the radial direction of the first recess 31, and the engagement parts 34 and the second recesses 32 can be in a one-to-one correspondence. For each engagement part 34, the engagement part 34 can be configured as the first side wall, and the engagement part 34 can engage in the engagement groove 16.

[0036] In some embodiments, such as in Fig.As shown in Figure 7, the bushing 30 can define a guide groove 33. The guide groove 33 can be located on the outside of the first recess 31 in the radial direction of the first recess 31. The guide groove 33 can be located between the adjacent second recesses 32 in the circumferential direction of the first recess 31. An opening 331 of the guide groove 33 can be defined on a side facing away from the first recess 31. When the bushing 30 is inserted into or engages the engagement groove 16, the guide groove 33 on the side facing away from the first recess 31 can be movable in the axial direction relative to the projection 14. When the bushing 30 enters the engagement groove 16, the bushing 30 can be rotated so that the engagement parts 34 can bear against the projection 14.

[0037] Some embodiments of the present application may further provide a vehicle. The vehicle may include the tolerance compensator mentioned above. The vehicle may further include a thin-walled plate and a handle component. The thin-walled plate may define a mounting hole. The handle component may be connected to the thin-walled plate via the tolerance compensator. The handle component may be a concealed door handle. The tolerance between the handle component and the thin-walled plate can be accommodated by the tolerance compensator if the handle component is mounted on the thin-walled plate.
