Abstract

Light-emitting device comprising: a substrate (101) having a flat section (101c) and a recessed section (101d) which is lower than the flat section; a conductive via (104a, 104b) penetrating the flat section of the substrate; a light-emitting chip (110) arranged on the substrate and electrically connected to the conductive via (104); a sealing element (150) arranged to cover the light-emitting chip; and a light-reflecting element (120) arranged around a lateral surface (150b) of the sealing element (150), the light-reflecting element (120) covering the recessed section (101d) of the substrate (101).
