Abstract

A portable lamp (10) comprising: - an elongated lamp body (11, 13); - a light source (18) arranged at a first end region of the elongated lamp body; - a rechargeable energy source (20) configured to supply power to the light source (18); - a lamp base (14) arranged at a second end region of the elongated lamp body opposite the first end region, the lamp base (14) comprising: - a flexible sleeve (16); and - a granular weight filling (17) contained in the flexible sleeve (16); and - a charging port (21, 27) electrically connected to the rechargeable energy source (20).
