Battery, characterized in that it comprises: a housing body (1) comprising a first wall, wherein a terminal pin is arranged on the first wall; a battery cell (3) arranged inside the housing body (1), wherein the battery cell (3) comprises a cell body (31) and a terminal tab (32), wherein the terminal tab (32) extends from at least one end of the cell body (31) in a first direction, wherein the terminal tab (32) is electrically connected to the cell body (31); wherein the terminal pin (22) is suitable for being electrically connected to the terminal tab (32);an adapter plate (4) electrically connected between the pole pin (22) and the connecting tab (32), the connecting tab (32) comprising a first connecting tab section (321) connected to the cell body (31) and a second connecting tab section (323) located away from the cell body (31), the first connecting tab section (321) and the second connecting tab section (323) being located on opposite sides of the adapter plate (4) along the first direction, the first connecting tab section (321) being connected to the second connecting tab section (323) via a bending section (322); the second connecting tab section (323) being welded to the adapter plate (4) and forming a weld mark;wherein along the first direction the shortest distance between the surface of the adapter plate (4) on the side facing the first wall and the surface of the first wall on the side facing the adapter plate (4) is a; wherein the thickness of the connecting tab (32) is m and the relationship 0.5 mm ≤ a - m ≤ 9 mm is satisfied.;
