Abstract
Method for electrically controlling a parking brake for a motor vehicle (1), wherein an actuation (3) to release the parking brake takes place in two steps (D1, D2) which are separated from each other by an interruption (I) of the release for a period of time associated with the fulfillment of a predetermined condition, characterized in that an actuation (8) to interrupt (I) the release of the parking brake takes place when a clamping force of the parking brake (4) falls below a predetermined force threshold value (7).
