Description
[0001] The invention relates to a running gear for a rail vehicle, with a first wheelset and a second wheelset as well as with a running gear frame.
[0002] Rail vehicle bogies often feature devices that allow for diagnostics or monitoring of the bogies themselves and / or a track. This allows for faults and damage to the bogies (e.g., a defective damper, etc.) or the track (e.g., a track alignment error, a track break, etc.) to be detected and rectified in a timely manner.
[0003] Especially for rail diagnostics and / or rail monitoring, it is important that the sensors intended for this purpose are positioned as close as possible to the rails. To avoid significant relative movements between these sensors and the rails due to the suspension of the rail vehicles, the sensors are often connected to unsprung chassis components.
[0004] In addition, the prescribed boundary profiles of the rail vehicle must be taken into account when arranging the sensors.
[0005] Furthermore, devices for mounting the sensors are often subjected to strong accelerations, which places high demands on the mechanical properties of the devices and their mounting materials. Such requirements also apply to devices used to mount on-board train control system equipment, such as antennas for a linear train control system (LZB).
[0006] WO 2006 / 032307 A1, for example, is known from the prior art. It discloses a diagnostic device for checking track systems (e.g., switches). Accelerations are recorded using an acceleration sensor mounted on a wheelset bearing cover of a rail vehicle's bogie. The recorded accelerations are compared with acceleration thresholds in an evaluation unit. If thresholds are detected, inspection steps are initiated on the track system.
[0007] Furthermore, WO 2019 / 219756 A1 shows a method and a device for diagnosing and monitoring tracks, wherein sensors are provided on a chassis of a rail vehicle.
[0008] Furthermore, EP 3 461 714 A1 discloses a running gear of a rail vehicle in which a tensioning assembly is tensioned to a wheelset. A support device is mounted on the tensioning assembly, which is connected to another running gear component (e.g., to a running gear frame). The support device is provided on the outside of the running gear, and a release lever of a travel lock for a train protection system or a stepladder can be mounted on it.
[0009] Also in JP 2001 071 903 A1 a running gear of a rail vehicle with a carrying device is disclosed.
[0010] The approaches mentioned in their known forms have the disadvantage that the sensors shown are not arranged in the immediate vicinity of a rail and that the carrying device shown does not allow such an arrangement.
[0011] The invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a chassis that is further developed compared to the prior art and which enables a flexible arrangement of diagnostic or monitoring components or components of a train control system in the near field of rails and measurements or signal transmission processes that are influenced as little as possible by driving movements.
[0012] According to the invention, this object is achieved with a chassis according to claim 1, in which a support device, to which at least one component of a diagnostic device, a monitoring device or a train control system is connected, is arranged extending at least partially below the chassis frame, wherein the support device comprises a support frame and a first strut extending from a first corner of the support frame, a second strut extending from a second corner of the support frame, a third strut extending from a third corner of the support frame and a fourth strut extending from a fourth corner of the support frame, wherein the support device is mounted via the first strut, the second strut, the third strut and the fourth strut.
[0013] With an arrangement of the support device extending at least partially below the chassis frame, on the one hand, the component of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device or the train control system is arranged particularly close to a rail of a track, and on the other hand, a stable mounting of the support device on both sides of the chassis is made possible.
[0014] For example, two bearings can be provided on a first side of the chassis and two further bearings on a second side of the chassis.
[0015] This allows for flexible positioning of the components of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device, or the train control system on the support device, for which, for example, the entire support frame or its circumference can be used. The component can be connected to the support device, for example, in the area of the first chassis side or in the area of the second chassis side. However, it is also possible for multiple components of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device, or the train control system to be connected to the support device, for example, a first component in the area of the first chassis side and a second component in the area of the second chassis side.
[0016] The support device is designed as a separate component that can be connected to and detached from the chassis components. This makes it possible to retrofit the support device to existing rail vehicles.
[0017] Furthermore, this measure ensures that the landing gear is subjected to a uniform and only moderate load by the support device. Despite the support device being installed, the landing gear and its components remain accessible from the underside of the landing gear (e.g., for maintenance and repair work).
[0018] The carrying device is mounted on a four-point suspension and is therefore very stable.
[0019] An advantageous embodiment is achieved if the support device is connected to a first axle box bearing housing and a second axle box bearing housing, which are coupled to the first axle box, as well as to a third axle box bearing housing and a fourth axle box bearing housing, which are coupled to the second axle box. In this context, it may be advantageous if the support device is connected to a first cover of the first axle box bearing housing, a second cover of the second axle box bearing housing, a third cover of the third axle box bearing housing, and a fourth cover of the fourth axle box bearing housing.
[0020] However, it may also be helpful if the support device is connected to a first wheelset guiding device and a second wheelset guiding device, which are coupled to the first wheelset, as well as to a third wheelset guiding device and a fourth wheelset guiding device, which are coupled to the second wheelset.
[0021] The first wheelset guiding device, the second wheelset guiding device, the third wheelset guiding device and the fourth wheelset guiding device can, for example, be designed as swing arms which are arranged between wheelset bearings and wheelset guide bushings connected to the chassis frame.
[0022] These measures achieve the advantage that the component of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device or the train control system remains unaffected or largely unaffected by suspension movements of the running gear (e.g. due to primary springs between the first axle box, the second axle box, the third axle box and the fourth axle box on the one hand and the running gear frame on the other hand).
[0023] If the support device is connected to the covers of the first axle box, the second axle box, the third axle box, and the fourth axle box, the fastening elements of these covers can be used. This eliminates the need for separate fastening elements for the support device.
[0024] Depending on the design characteristics of the chassis, it may also be expedient if the support device is connected to a first wheelset bearing housing and a second wheelset bearing housing, which are coupled to the first wheelset, as well as to the chassis frame.
[0025] A favorable solution is achieved if the support device is mounted in a way that allows relative movements between the first wheel set and the second wheel set.
[0026] In this context, it may be helpful if the support device is connected to the first wheelset bearing housing by means of a first pendulum, to the second wheelset bearing housing by means of a second pendulum, to the third wheelset bearing housing by means of a first elastic bearing and to the fourth wheelset bearing housing by means of a second elastic bearing.
[0027] If the support device is coupled to the first wheelset guiding device, the second wheelset guiding device, the third wheelset guiding device and the fourth wheelset guiding device, it is advantageous if the support device is connected to the first wheelset guiding device by means of a first pendulum, to the second wheelset guiding device by means of a second pendulum, to the third wheelset guiding device by means of a first elastic bearing and to the fourth wheelset guiding device by means of a second elastic bearing.
[0028] This measure ensures that the first wheelset and the second wheelset remain sufficiently mobile despite the support device (particularly with regard to relative movements of the first wheelset and the second wheelset in the direction of a track axis, which occur while the bogie is moving on the track).
[0029] An advantageous embodiment is achieved if at least one component of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device, or the train control system is connected to the support device in a height-adjustable manner. This enables flexible adaptation of the component of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device, or the train control system to vertical distances between the support device and the track. Furthermore, height changes can be compensated for, for example, by reducing wheel diameters due to wheel wear.
[0030] An application which is particularly suitable with regard to the arrangement of the support device is made possible if the at least one component of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device or the train control system is designed as a first sensor for diagnosing or monitoring a first rail of a track.
[0031] It is helpful if the support frame has a plurality of mounting devices for components of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device or the train control system.
[0032] This measure allows the components of the diagnostic device, the monitoring device or the train control system to be positioned flexibly on the support frame.
[0033] The invention is explained in more detail below using exemplary embodiments.
[0034] Examples include: Fig. 1: A floor plan of an exemplary first embodiment of a running gear according to the invention with a support device to which two sensors of a diagnostic and monitoring device for travel paths are connected, Fig. 2: A side view of an exemplary second embodiment of a running gear according to the invention with a support device, wherein a sensor connected to the support device is arranged in the immediate vicinity of a rail, and Fig. 3: A side view of an exemplary third embodiment of a running gear according to the invention with a support device to which a train control antenna is connected. Fig. 1 shows a floor plan of an exemplary first embodiment of a rail vehicle bogie according to the invention. It is a bottom view of the bogie.
[0035] The chassis comprises a first wheelset 1, a second wheelset 2, a chassis frame 3 and a support device 4.
[0036] A first component and a second component of a diagnostic and monitoring device are connected to the support device 4, which is arranged extending partially below the chassis frame 3.
[0037] The first wheelset 1 is coupled to the chassis frame 3 via a first primary spring 5, a first wheelset bearing 13 enclosed by a first wheelset bearing housing 9, a first wheelset guide device 17, and a first wheelset guide bushing 21, as well as via a second primary spring 6, a second wheelset bearing 14 enclosed by a second wheelset bearing housing 10, a second wheelset guide device 18, and a second wheelset guide bushing 22. The first wheelset guide device 17 and the second wheelset guide device 18 are designed as swing arms. The first wheelset guide device 17 is connected to the first wheelset bearing housing 9 and to the first wheelset guide bushing 21, which is mounted in the chassis frame 3. The second wheelset guide device 18 is connected to the second wheelset bearing housing 10 and to the second wheelset guide bush 22, which is mounted in the chassis frame 3.
[0038] The second wheelset 2 is coupled to the chassis frame 3 via a third primary spring 7, a third wheelset bearing 15 enclosed by a third wheelset bearing housing 11, a third wheelset guide device 19, and a third wheelset guide bushing 23, as well as via a fourth primary spring 8, a fourth wheelset bearing 16 enclosed by a fourth wheelset bearing housing 12, a fourth wheelset guide device 20, and a fourth wheelset guide bushing 24. The third wheelset guide device 19 and the fourth wheelset guide device 20 are designed as swing arms. The third wheelset guide device 19 is connected to the third wheelset bearing housing 11 and to the third wheelset guide bushing 23, which is mounted in the chassis frame 3. The fourth wheelset guide device 20 is connected to the fourth wheelset bearing housing 12 and to the fourth wheelset guide bushing 24, which is mounted in the chassis frame 3.
[0039] A first secondary spring 25 and a second secondary spring 26 are mounted on the chassis frame 3, which are connected to a Fig. 1 not shown car body of the rail vehicle.
[0040] The first wheelset bearing housing 9 and the first wheelset guiding device 17 as well as the second wheelset bearing housing 10 and the second wheelset guiding device 18 are coupled to the first wheelset 1.
[0041] The third wheelset bearing housing 11 and the third wheelset guiding device 19 as well as the fourth wheelset bearing housing 12 and the fourth wheelset guiding device 20 are coupled to the second wheelset 2.
[0042] The support device 4 comprises a support frame 27 and a first strut 32 extending from a first corner 28 of the support frame 27, a second strut 33 extending from a second corner 29 of the support frame 27, a third strut 34 extending from a third corner 30 of the support frame 27 and a fourth strut 35 extending from a fourth corner 31 of the support frame 27.The support device 4 is connected, allowing relative movements between the first wheelset 1 and the second wheelset 2, via the first strut 32 by means of a first pendulum 36 to a first cover 38 of the first wheelset bearing housing 9, via the second strut 33 by means of a second pendulum 37 to a second cover 39 of the second wheelset bearing housing 10, via the third strut 34 by means of a first elastic bearing 42 to a third cover 40 of the third wheelset bearing housing 11 and via the fourth strut 35 by means of a second elastic bearing 43 to a fourth cover 41 of the fourth wheelset bearing housing 12.
[0043] The first elastic bearing 42 and the second elastic bearing 43 are designed as elastic bushings. However, according to the invention, it is also conceivable to use swivel joints instead of the first elastic bearing 42 and the second elastic bearing 43. According to the invention, it is also conceivable for the support device 4 to be coupled to the first wheelset guide device 17, the second wheelset guide device 18, the third wheelset guide device 19, and the fourth wheelset guide device 20.
[0044] The support frame 27 of the support device 4 has a first receiving means 44 for the first component of the diagnostic and monitoring device and a second receiving means 45 for the second component of the diagnostic and monitoring device. Furthermore, the support frame 27 comprises a third receiving means 46 and further receiving means, which are distributed over a circumference of the support frame 27.
[0045] The first receiving means 44, the second receiving means 45, the third receiving means 46 and the further receiving means are designed as bores.
[0046] The first component of the diagnostic and monitoring device is screwed to the support frame 27 via the first receiving means 44, and the second component of the diagnostic and monitoring device is screwed to the support frame 27 via the second receiving means 45.
[0047] The first component of the diagnostic and monitoring device is designed as a magnetic first sensor 47, the second component of the diagnostic and monitoring device as a magnetic second sensor 48. The first sensor 47 is connected to a first adapter 49, the second sensor 48 to a second adapter 50. The first adapter 49 is screwed to the support frame 27 via the first receiving means 44, the second adapter 50 is screwed to the support frame 27 via the second receiving means 45.
[0048] The first adapter 49 and the second adapter 50 enable a connection with Fig. 2 described height adjustability of the first sensor 47 and the second sensor 48 on the support frame 27.
[0049] The first sensor 47 is located directly above a Fig. 2 shown first rail 51 of a track, the second sensor 48 above a non-visible second rail of the track.
[0050] The first sensor 47 and the second sensor 48 measure track conditions. For example, if a rail breaks at a location on the first rail 51, a magnetic field generated by the first sensor 47 is detuned when the bogie or the first sensor 47 crosses the location with the rail break.
[0051] Measurement results from the first sensor 47 and the second sensor 48 are transmitted via radio to a computing unit in the car body and evaluated there.
[0052] The first sensor 47 and the second sensor 48 are powered by batteries. However, according to the invention, it is also conceivable to design the first sensor 47 and the second sensor 48 as energy harvesting sensors.
[0053] According to the invention, it is further conceivable that other or additional sensors are connected to the support frame 27. For example, acceleration sensors for a chassis diagnostic and monitoring device can be mounted on the support device 4. (z.B. for the detection of defective dampers or springs).
[0054] Sensors arranged in addition to the first sensor 47 and the second sensor 48 can be connected to the carrying device 4 via the third receiving means 46 and the further receiving means.
[0055] The chassis according to Fig. 1 has externally mounted wheelsets, i.e., the wheelset bearings are arranged outside the areas of the wheelsets defined by the wheels of the wheelsets. However, according to the invention, it is also conceivable to use the support device 4 for bogies with internally mounted wheelsets (i.e., the wheelset bearings are arranged within the areas of the wheelsets defined by the wheels of the wheelsets).
[0056] In Fig. 2 a side view of an exemplary second embodiment of a chassis according to the invention with a carrying device 4 is shown.
[0057] This second embodiment is similar to the first embodiment of a chassis according to the invention, which is shown in Fig. 1 is shown.
[0058] Therefore, Fig. 2 partly the same reference numerals as in Fig. 1 used.
[0059] The running gear is arranged via its first wheel set 1 and its second wheel set 2 on a track with a first rail 51 and a non-visible second rail.
[0060] The support device 4 is, in terms of its design, its function and its connection technology with the wheelset bearing housings of the chassis, the same as that in Fig. 1 disclosed embodiment variant.
[0061] A first adapter 49 is screwed to a support frame 27 of the support device 4. The first adapter 49 has a hole pattern 52 with a first hole 53, a second hole 54, and a third hole 55. A magnetic first sensor 47 of a rail diagnostic and monitoring device is screwed to the first adapter 49 via the central, first hole 53 and arranged directly above the first rail 51.
[0062] The first sensor 47 can also, for example, if the carrying device 4 is higher than in Fig. 2 shown is mounted above the first rail 51 or if the first wheel set 1 and the second wheel set 2 have a larger wheel diameter than in Fig. 2 shown etc., are screwed to the first adapter 49 via the lowest, second hole 54.
[0063] For example, if the carrying device 4 is lower than in Fig. 2 shown mounted above the first rail 51 or the first wheel set 1 and the second wheel set 2 have a smaller wheel diameter than in Fig. 2 shown on etc., the first sensor 47 can be screwed to the first adapter 49 via the top, third hole 55.
[0064] The first sensor 47 is thus connected to the carrying device 4 in a height-adjustable manner.
[0065] Fig. 3 discloses a side view of an exemplary third embodiment of a chassis according to the invention with a carrying device 4.
[0066] This third embodiment is similar to the second embodiment of a chassis according to the invention, which is shown in Fig. 2 is shown.
[0067] Therefore, Fig. 3 partly the same reference numerals as in Fig. 2 used.
[0068] The support device 4 is connected via a first pendulum 36 to a first wheelset bearing housing 9 of the first wheelset 1 and via a Fig. 3 invisible second pendulum with a Fig. 3 also not visible second wheelset bearing housing of the first wheelset 1.
[0069] In contrast to Fig. 2 the carrying device 4 is in accordance with Fig. 3 not with wheelset bearing housings of a second wheelset 2, but via a first elastic bearing 42 and a Fig. 3 A second elastic bearing (not visible) is connected to the chassis frame 3.
[0070] A first sensor 47 is coupled to the support device 4 via a first adapter 49 in a height-adjustable manner, which is designed as a vehicle-side antenna of a system for linear train control (LZB). List of names
