Description

[0001] The invention relates to a device for a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, with a movable sensor unit. The invention further relates to a vehicle with such a device.

[0002] Devices of the type mentioned above, in particular an extension kinematics for a sensor unit, are known from the prior art, in which the sensor unit, for example a camera, extends via cam guides or slides. Such devices require a lot of installation space, especially a large installation depth, and generate noise. For example, devices for holding and adjusting a camera by means of joint mechanisms are known from DE 10 2015 106 394 A1 and DE 10 2012 109 611 A1.

[0003] The object of the present invention is to provide an improved device which is simple in design and operates with minimal noise. Furthermore, a vehicle equipped with such an improved device is to be provided.

[0004] The first-mentioned problem is solved according to the invention by the features of claim 1. With regard to the vehicle, the problem is solved according to the invention by the features of claim 13.

[0005] A device according to the invention for a vehicle comprises at least a base carrier with an opening and a movable closing flap for releasing or closing the opening, a sensor unit without or with a housing unit that at least partially encloses and holds this sensor unit and is movably arranged in the base carrier, and a joint mechanism, wherein the sensor unit or the housing unit is movable in the base carrier between a first position, in particular a rest position of the sensor unit, and a second position, in particular an operating position of the sensor unit, in which the sensor unit or the housing unit with the sensor unit projects at least partially out of the opening, and wherein the joint mechanism is designed as a multi-link mechanism and comprises at least three links.and wherein two of the three linkages are each fixedly connected to the base carrier at a first linkage end and each are movably connected to the housing unit or the sensor unit at a second linkage end, and a third linkage is connected between the housing unit and the locking element or between the base carrier and the locking element.

[0006] Such a multi-link mechanism features low-backlash rotary joints instead of pins or rollers in guideways or cams. This type of multi-link mechanism (also called multi-link kinematics) reduces or even eliminates sliding and friction points.

[0007] Furthermore, such a fixed mounting of two of the three links on the carrier or vehicle side, and a movable mounting of these two links on the housing or sensor side, allows for a particularly small opening for the sensor unit. A fixed mounting of the two links on the base carrier refers in particular to a fixed pivoting bearing of the first link end on the base carrier. A movable mounting of the two links on the housing unit or directly on the sensor unit refers in particular to a pivoting bearing of the second link end on the housing unit or on the sensor unit, and a movable bearing relative to the base carrier or to a vehicle body.

[0008] The multi-link mechanism can, for example, be designed and configured such that the housing unit performs a continuous arc-shaped extension movement when moving from the rest position of the sensor unit to the operating position of the sensor unit.

[0009] Preferably, the multi-link mechanism is designed and configured such that, simultaneously with an extension movement of the sensor unit or the housing unit with the sensor unit from the rest position to the operating position, the locking element can be moved from a position closing the opening for the sensor unit to a position releasing the opening for the sensor unit.

[0010] The control arms can, for example, each be designed as a simple control arm, in particular a simple rod control arm or a simple stirrup control arm, with two joints each, wherein a first control arm and a second control arm are each articulated between the housing unit and the base support and a third control arm is articulated between the housing unit and the locking flap.

[0011] The joint mechanism can be designed and configured as a multi-link mechanism such that the sensor unit or the housing unit performs a combined translational movement, rotational movement and pivoting movement when moving from the first position, in particular a rest position of the sensor unit, to the second position, in particular an operating position of the sensor unit.

[0012] The joint mechanism, as a multi-link mechanism, comprises at least two links, each of which is articulated at a first link end to a fixed pivot axis on the base support and at a second end to a movable pivot axis on the housing unit or the sensor unit. The second link ends of the at least two links can be pivoted, or are pivoted, in the same direction relative to their respective first link end, in particular the respective fixed first link end. In particular, the sensor unit or the housing unit with the sensor unit is mounted so that it is movable around its ends on the base support throughout the entire movement, and in particular, so that it is continuously movable in an arc.

[0013] The advantages achieved with the invention consist in particular of the fact that a device with such a multi-link mechanism, featuring simple and low-play links, especially rod links or stirrup links, each with two joints, especially pivot joints, enables precise guidance and very quiet movement of the sensor unit. Furthermore, such a device is insensitive to contamination, since pins and guide tracks, as well as sliding and friction points, are avoided.

[0014] A further development of the respective device according to the invention provides that the multi-link mechanism is designed and configured in such a way that the housing unit performs a continuous extension movement, in particular a continuous arc-shaped extension movement, when moving from the first position, in particular a rest position of the sensor unit, to the second position, in particular an operating position of the sensor unit.

[0015] The individual handlebars are designed, for example, as simple handlebars with two joints each. The handlebars are single-link systems. For example, the individual handlebar is designed as an L-shaped handlebar, a U-shaped handlebar, an I-shaped handlebar, or a rod-shaped or bow-shaped handlebar (also called a rod-shaped or bow-shaped handlebar).

[0016] Another aspect stipulates that the links, designed as rod links or I-shaped links, are each only hinged to one side of the housing unit. Specifically, the links hinged to the housing unit are hinged to opposite sides of the housing. For example, a first link is hinged to one outer side of the housing unit. A second link is hinged to the opposite outer side of the housing unit.

[0017] For example, at least two of the linkages that are articulated between the sensor unit and the base carrier, or between the housing unit and the sensor unit and the base carrier, are arranged parallel and spaced apart from each other in the rest position. At least one of the linkages that is articulated between the housing unit and the locking element is arranged, for example, perpendicular to the opening plane or a closing plane of the locking element in the rest position. Furthermore, the housing unit may have an arc shape.

[0018] Preferably, the sensor unit can be arranged approximately perpendicular to the opening in its rest position. Such a rest position of the sensor unit, approximately perpendicular to the opening, allows the opening to be designed as small as possible. For example, the opening can be designed to be corresponding to, and with a small gap to, the outer circumference of the sensor unit or to the outer circumference of the housing unit with sensor unit, and in particular slightly larger.

[0019] Preferably, the locking element can be rotatably arranged on the base carrier or on the housing unit or directly on the sensor unit, in particular hinged.

[0020] Furthermore, the locking element can be spring-loaded in a position that closes the opening for the sensor unit.

[0021] Another aspect involves a drive, for example a motor, particularly an electric motor, which is directly coupled to one of the handlebars or indirectly via an intermediate linkage mechanism. The handlebar is designed as a drive link and can be driven directly by the drive, in particular a mechanical output such as a shaft or a pinion, or indirectly by a drive lever of the intermediate linkage mechanism.

[0022] In the direct coupling of the drive and steering linkage of the joint mechanism, the output axis of the drive and the steering axis of the steering linkage designed as the drive linkage coincide. In other words, the output axis and the steering axis are designed as coaxial axes and lie on the same axis of rotation. In the indirect coupling of the drive and steering linkage of the joint mechanism via the intermediate joint mechanism, the output axis of the drive and the steering axis of the steering linkage are offset from each other.

[0023] In direct coupling, the drive unit and the steering linkage move in the same direction. In indirect coupling, the drive unit, a drive lever of the intermediate linkage mechanism, and the steering linkage designed as a drive linkage can all move in the same direction.

[0024] In the indirect coupling of the drive and steering, an intermediate linkage mechanism is arranged between the drive and the steering linkage, which is designed as the drive linkage. This intermediate linkage mechanism can, for example, be a toggle lever mechanism. Specifically, it is a toggle lever mechanism with a dead center position. In the extended state (also called the operating position) and / or the retracted state (also called the rest position) of the sensor unit (especially a camera), the extended or retracted sensor unit is securely fixed (also called "locked"). In particular, the sensor unit is fixed in one of its end positions by means of the intermediate linkage mechanism in such a way that this position cannot be easily opened or closed by hand or by vehicle vibrations. Alternatively, a self-locking gearbox can be provided instead of the toggle lever mechanism. However, this can potentially lead to noise problems. Furthermore, such a self-locking gearbox may have a lower efficiency.

[0025] The first lever of the toggle mechanism is designed as a drive lever, and the second lever as a driven lever. The drive lever is coupled to the drive, in particular its mechanical output. The driven lever is in turn coupled to the linkage designed as the drive link.

[0026] Preferably, the toggle lever mechanism can be designed as a bistable toggle lever mechanism. The bistable toggle lever mechanism can, for example, have two positions: a first stable position and a second stable position. The first stable position corresponds to the rest position of the sensor unit and / or the closed position of the locking element. The second stable position corresponds to the operating position of the sensor unit and / or the releasing position of the locking element.

[0027] The movement of the drive, directly or indirectly via the intermediate linkage mechanism, causes the linkage, designed as a drive link, to slide along a surface of the base support between the rest position and the operating position. This surface may be arc-shaped, circular segment-shaped, or curved, and in particular a guide rib. By designing the intermediate linkage mechanism as a bistable toggle lever mechanism, it can be fixed in its end positions: the rest position and the operating position.

[0028] Furthermore, the lock may have at least one end stop to limit an extension movement or a retraction movement of the housing unit with sensor unit or the sensor unit.

[0029] For example, at least one of the guides can have one or more projections which form one end stop or several, for example two, end stops to limit an extension movement or a retraction movement of the housing unit with sensor unit or the sensor unit.

[0030] Alternatively, the at least one end stop can be designed as a separate end stop. For example, the separate end stop can be provided on the base support at a corresponding stop position to limit the movement in question (extension or retraction). In a particularly simple embodiment, a steering linkage bearing of the steering linkage designed as the drive linkage of the joint mechanism can simultaneously serve as an end stop for the intermediate joint mechanism.

[0031] Furthermore, a vehicle is provided with the device according to the invention described above, wherein the device is arranged, for example, in the rear or front area of the vehicle.

[0033] Corresponding parts are provided with the same reference numerals in all figures.

[0034] Figure 1 Figure 1 schematically shows a vehicle 1 with a device 2 according to the invention. For example, the device 2 is arranged at the front of a hood 3 and / or at the rear of a trunk lid 4. In the illustrated embodiment, the device 2 is arranged on the hood 3.

[0035] The device 2 has a closed position and a fully open position in which the environment of the vehicle 1 can be detected.

[0036] Figure 1 Figure 2 shows the device in the closed position. The device 2 is designed as a pre-assembled mounting unit that can be positioned and attached to the vehicle 1 in its pre-assembled state.

[0037] The Figure 1The schematically depicted vehicle 1 is described below using three mutually perpendicular spatial directions. A longitudinal direction X runs largely horizontally and preferably parallel to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, which corresponds to the vehicle 1's usual direction of travel. A transverse direction Y, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X, is also horizontally oriented in the vehicle 1 and runs parallel to a transverse direction of the vehicle. A vertical direction Z runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X and perpendicular to the transverse direction Y. In the vehicle 1, the vertical direction Z preferably runs parallel to a vertical axis of the vehicle.

[0038] The position and direction terms used, such as front, rear, top and bottom, refer to the viewing direction of an occupant sitting in vehicle 1 in a normal seating position and looking in the direction of travel.

[0039] Figure 2Figure 2 schematically shows a side view of the device 2 according to the invention as an assembly module. All subsequent components of the device 2 are pre-assembled to the assembly module.

[0040] The device 2 comprises at least one base support 5 with, for example, a Figures 7 and 8 shown, lockable opening 51 and a locking element 9 movable relative to the base carrier 5, in particular a locking flap, for releasing or closing the opening 51, a sensor unit 6 and a joint mechanism 7 for adjusting the sensor unit 6 relative to the base carrier 5.

[0041] Furthermore, the device 2 comprises a housing unit 8, which at least partially surrounds the sensor unit 6. The housing unit 8 also serves as a holder for the sensor unit 6 and is also referred to as a sensor holder. The sensor unit 6 is protected and held within the housing unit 8. The housing unit 8, and with it the sensor unit 6, are movably arranged in the base support 5. Alternatively, the housing unit 8 can be omitted, and the sensor unit 6 can be movably arranged directly in or on the base support 5. The invention is described below with reference to the housing unit 8 and the sensor unit 6 attached to it.

[0042] The housing unit 8 is positioned in the base support 5 between a first position, in particular a rest position 100 (for example, as shown in the following), by means of the joint mechanism 7. Figures 2 to 5 )of the sensor unit 6, and a second position, in particular an operating position 101 of the sensor unit 6 (for example, shown in Figures 11 to 14 ), movable, in particular extendable or, conversely, retractable. In operating position 101, the housing unit 8 with the sensor unit 6 protrudes at least partially from the opening 51.

[0043] In the rest position 100, the housing unit 8 with the sensor unit 6 is arranged in the base carrier 5 behind the opening 51 and protected by the closing element 9 covering the opening 51. In the rest position 100, the sensor unit 6 is arranged approximately perpendicular to the opening 51. Such an arrangement allows for a small opening 51.

[0044] In the illustrated embodiment, the locking element 9 is rotatably arranged on the base support 5. Alternatively, the locking element 9 can be rotatably arranged on the housing unit 8 or the sensor unit 6 (not shown in detail).

[0045] The locking element 9 is located between a position 103 that closes the opening 51 (shown in Figures 2 to 5 ) and a position 104 releasing the opening 51 (shown in Figures 6 to 9 , 11 to 14 ) movable. In position 103, which closes the opening 51, the locking element 9 is held under spring tension.

[0046] The joint mechanism 7 is designed and configured, in particular as a multi-link mechanism, such that the housing unit 8 with the sensor unit 6, or the sensor unit 6 itself, when moving from the first position, in particular the rest position 100 of the sensor unit 6, to the second position, in particular the operating position 101 of the sensor unit 6, performs a continuous extension movement, in particular an arc-shaped movement 200 obliquely downwards and forwards in the direction of the opening 51 and out of the opening 51. In particular, the arc-shaped movement 200 of the housing unit 8 with the sensor unit 6 is composed of two arc-shaped partial movements 201 and 202 of the joint mechanism 7 with the same direction. These arc-shaped partial movements 201 and 202 of the joint mechanism 7 cause the continuous arc-shaped movement 200 of the housing unit 8 with sensor unit 6, or of the sensor unit 6 itself.

[0047] In other words, the housing unit 8 with the sensor unit 6, or alternatively the sensor unit 6 (directly), is forced into an arc-shaped movement, in particular a movement along a segment of a circular arc, for example obliquely downwards and forwards, towards and out of the opening 51 by means of the joint mechanism 7. During the arc-shaped movement 200 (shown in Figures 2 and 8 ) a rectilinear or translational movement, in particular a combined lowering or lifting movement, is superimposed with a perpendicular forward or backward movement to form the arc-shaped movement 200, which consists of two arc-shaped partial movements 201 and 202 of the joint mechanism 7 (shown in Figures 2 and 8). The entire movement of the housing unit 8 with the sensor unit 6 or the sensor unit 6 alone is in particular a combined linear and rotary extension or retraction movement.

[0048] Furthermore, the joint mechanism 7, designed as a multi-link mechanism, can, for example, be designed and configured such that, simultaneously with the extension movement of the sensor unit 6 from the rest position 100 to the operating position 101, the locking element 9 can be moved from the position 103 closing the opening 51 to the position 104 releasing the opening 51.

[0049] The joint mechanism 7, designed as a multi-link mechanism, can also be designed and arranged, for example, in such a way that, simultaneously with the insertion movement of the sensor unit 6 from the operating position 101 to the rest position 100, the locking element 9 can be moved from the position 104 releasing the opening 51 to the position 103 closing the opening 51.

[0050] The joint mechanism 7 shall in particular be designed as a multi-link mechanism and shall comprise at least two links 70, each of which shall be designed as a simple link 70 with two joints 700, in particular pivot joints.

[0051] The at least two linkages 70, in particular a first linkage 71 and a second linkage 72, are each, for example, articulated with a first linkage end 711 or 721 to a fixed pivot axis 713 or 723 on the base carrier 5 and each with a second linkage end 712 or 722 to a movable pivot axis 714 or 724 on the housing unit 8.

[0052] The second link ends 712 and 722 of the at least two links 70, in particular 71 and 72, are movable, in particular pivotable, in the same direction relative to their respective first, in particular stationary, link ends 711 and 721. The two second link ends 712 and 722 execute the arc-shaped partial movements 201 and 202, respectively, which are performed in the same direction about the stationary axes of rotation 713 and 723 of the first link ends 711 and 721, respectively, and which superimpose on the continuous arc-shaped movement 200 of the housing unit 8.

[0053] The two linkages 70, in particular the first linkage 71 and the second linkage 72, which are articulated between the housing unit 8 and the base carrier 5, are arranged parallel to each other and at a distance from each other in the rest position 100. This enables a particularly compact design.

[0054] The device 2 has a drive 11, in particular a motor, such as an electric motor, (shown in Figures 3 and 6 , 7The first link 71 is designed as a drive link. A mechanical output, for example a driven pinion or a mechanical output shaft, of the drive 11 is directly coupled to the first link 71. In the direct coupling of drive 11 and first link 71 of the joint mechanism 7, an output axis 11.1 of drive 11 and a link axis (= the stationary pivot axis 713) of the first link 71, designed as a drive link, coincide. In other words: The output axis 11.1 of drive 11 and the stationary link axis or pivot axis 713 of the first link 71 are designed as coaxial axes and lie on the same axis of rotation. In this direct coupling of drive 11 and first link 71, the drive 11 and the first link 71 move in the same direction of rotation 204 around the same axis of rotation, which corresponds to the stationary axis of rotation 713.

[0055] The movement of the drive 11 causes the first link 71, designed as a drive link, to move along a surface, for example arc-shaped, circular segment-shaped or curved, in particular a guide rib 50 (shown in Figure 3 ), of the base carrier 5 between the rest position 100 and the operating position 101.

[0056] Additionally, a third link 73 may be provided. The third link 73 is, for example, articulated between the housing unit 8 and the locking element 9. The third link 73 is a connecting link that connects the locking element 9 to the housing unit 8 or to the sensor unit 6. In the rest position 100 of the device 2, in particular a closed position, the third link 73 is arranged perpendicular to the opening plane of an opening 51 or a locking plane of the locking element 9.

[0057] Furthermore, the first link 71 can be articulated to an outer surface of the housing unit 8. The second link 72 is articulated to an outer surface of the housing unit 8 opposite this outer surface, as shown in Figure 6 shown.

[0058] For example, the respective link 70 can be designed as a single link, in particular a simple rod link or a simple bow link, with two joints 700 each. In particular, the respective link 70 can be designed as a lever that is rotatably connected to the housing unit 8 on one or both sides. A link 70 rotatably connected to the housing unit 8 on one side, for example, is designed as a simple rod with two oppositely angled ends serving as pivots. A link 70 rotatably connected to the housing unit 8 on both sides, for example, is designed as a bow link, in particular a U-shaped profile with two inwardly angled free ends serving as pivots.

[0059] The first link 71, in particular an upper link 70 or a link 70 furthest from the opening 51, and the second link 72, in particular a lower link 70 or a link 70 located closer to the opening 51, are each articulated between the housing unit 8 and the base support 5. The third link 73 is articulated between the housing unit 8 and the locking element 9.

[0060] The first link 71 (also called upper link) is, for example, a simple rod link which is articulated at a first link end 711 to the base support 5, in particular at an upper end of the base support 5, and at a second link end 712 to the housing unit 8, in particular at an upper end of the housing unit 8. The first link 71 is, in particular, a flat profile or a strip profile with pivot pins projecting in opposite directions from the link ends 711 and 712, with associated axes of rotation 713 and 714.

[0061] The second link 72 (also called the central link) is, for example, a simple rod link, which is articulated at a first link end 721 to the base support 5, in particular at a housing end facing away from the opening 51 or centrally on the base support 5, and at a second link end 722 to the housing unit 8, in particular at a housing end facing away from the opening 51 or centrally on the housing unit 8. The second link 72 is, in particular, a wire profile or a strip profile with pivot pins projecting in opposite directions from the link ends 721 and 722, with associated axes of rotation 723 and 724.

[0062] The third link 73 (also called lower link or connecting link) is, for example, a simple rod link which is articulated with a first link end 731 to the base carrier 5, in particular at a lower end of the base carrier 5, and with a second link end 732 to the locking element 9, in particular in the middle of the locking element 9.

[0063] The third handle 73 is in particular a wire profile or a strip profile with handle ends 731 and 732 (shown in Figures 5 and 6 ) Opposingly projecting pivot pins with associated axes of rotation 733 and 734 (shown in Figures 5 and 6 ).

[0064] The first link 71 and the second link 72 are arranged parallel to each other and at a distance from each other in the rest position 100 of the device 2. The first link 71 is shorter than the second link 72. A first link end 721 of the second link 72 is arranged, viewed in the longitudinal direction X, between a first link end 711 and a second link end 712 of the first link 71.

[0065] The third link 73 is arranged in the rest position 100 of the device 2 approximately perpendicular to the opening plane of the opening 51 or the closing plane of the locking element 9. A first link end 731 of the third link 73 is arranged, viewed in the longitudinal direction X, between a first link end 721 and a second link end 722 of the second link 72.

[0066] Housing unit 8 has an arc shape.

[0067] The base carrier 5 is a fixed component that can be permanently mounted to a vehicle element, for example the hood 3. The base carrier 5 can be designed as a single piece or in multiple parts.

[0068] The joint mechanism 7 is designed to guide the movement of the housing unit 8 relative to the base support 5. The joint mechanism 7 is arranged between the housing unit 8 and the base support 5 and / or between the housing unit 8 and the locking element 9.

[0069] The base support 5 comprises a front support part 52, which includes the closable opening 51. The base support 5 may also have a rear support part 53. The opening 51 can be closed by means of the closure element 9, in particular a protective element, a cover, or a flap.

[0070] In Figure 2The closure element 9 is in a closed position in which it seals the opening 51, particularly in a media-tight manner, against the environment. In this position, the closure element 9 rests against an inner wall of the opening 51, sealing it. The closure element 9 is rotatably mounted at a bearing end 91 on the base support 5 (as shown) or on the housing unit 8.

[0071] Sensor unit 6 is in Figure 2 shown in rest position 100. Rest position 100 is a protected position when not in use. In this rest position 100, the sensor unit 6 is located within the base carrier 5, specifically within the housing unit 8, behind the opening 51 (shown in Figure 2 ) protected and arranged covered by the locking element 9.

[0072] The sensor unit 6 is located between the rest position 100 and the operating position 101 (shown in Figure 11 ),In particular, an operating position during use, movable. The sensor unit 6 comprises, for example, a camera as a sensor for detecting and monitoring an area around a vehicle component. Preferably, the camera is a front camera on the hood 3 or a rear-view camera on the trunk lid 4.

[0073] The joint mechanism 7, designed as a multi-link mechanism, is provided for adjusting the sensor unit 6 relative to the base carrier 5 between the rest position 100 and the operating position 101.

[0074] Figure 3Figure 1 schematically shows, in a further perspective view, the device 2 according to the invention with the second link 72 and the third link 73. The first link 71 is only partially shown. Only the second link end 712 of the first link 71, which is articulated to the housing unit 8, is visible. A guide rib 50 is formed on a support wall 59 of the base support 5 to guide the first link 71. The second link end 712 of the first link 71 has, for example, a guide roller 50.1, which is guided along the guide rib 50 when the sensor unit 6 is retracted or extended.

[0075] For the detachable attachment of the device 2 to the engine hood 3 (also called front hood, shown in Figure 1 ) or on the rear decklid 4 (shown in Figure 1 ) this device 2 may have a releasable fastening means 14, in particular a locking hook or a locking arm.

[0078] Figure 6 The figure schematically shows in perspective the device 2 according to the invention with the housing unit 8 with the sensor unit 6 in a partially extended position 102 (also called intermediate position).

[0079] Additionally, the base carrier can have 5 plug openings 55 through which connection elements 15, in particular electrical connections, especially for power supply, and / or electronic connections, in particular a LAN connection or CAN connection or another communication connection, for the drive 11 can pass.

[0080] In addition, further fastening means 16, in particular locking lugs or locking arms or the like, can be provided on the base carrier 5 to attach it to the engine hood 3 (also called front hood, shown in Figure 1 ) or on the rear decklid 4 (shown in Figure 1 ) to be arranged in a form-fitting and / or force-fitting manner and to be detachably fastened.

[0081] For adjusting the housing unit 8, an electric drive 11, in particular an electric motor, is provided. The drive 11 can be protected in a support receptacle of the base support 5, which serves as a housing 17, or of a separate sub-support, in particular an electrical component carrier.

[0082] The base support 5 comprises the front support part 52, which includes the lockable opening 51 that can be closed by the locking element 9. The base support 5 also comprises the rear support part 53.

[0083] Furthermore, the base support 5, in particular the front support part 52, has a rim 56 that forms a circumferential opening 51 for the sensor unit 6 as well as a support area 57 for the drive 11. The circumferential rim 56 can also be provided with a circumferential seal 57, in particular a circumferential sealing lip. For example, the seal 57 can be designed separately as a sealing ring or as an integrated seal 57, in particular one integrally formed on the rim 56.

[0088] Figure 8 The figure schematically shows in side view the device 2 according to the invention with the housing unit 8 with the sensor unit 6 in the partially extended position 102.

[0089] The joint mechanism 7 comprises the three links 71, 72, and 73, which simultaneously execute their arc-shaped partial movements 201 to 203 during an adjustment movement, with the arc-shaped partial movements 201 and 202 superimposing to form the arc-shaped movement 200 of the housing unit 8 with sensor unit 6 or of the sensor unit 6 alone. The arc-shaped partial movement 203 represents the opening movement of the locking element 9.

[0090] To guide the arc-shaped partial movement 201 of the first link 71, the guide rib 50 is formed on the support wall 59. The second link end 712 of the first link 71 has, for example, a guide pin (not shown) or a guide roller 50.1 (shown in Figure 3 ) on, which is guided along the guide rib 50.

[0091] Figure 9Figure 1 schematically shows, in a further side view, the device 2 according to the invention with the housing unit 8 and the sensor unit 6 in the partially extended position 102. The second link 72 and the third link 73 are articulated to a first housing side 81 of the housing unit 8. The first link 71 is shown in a dashed line and is articulated to a second housing side 82 (shown in Figure 1). Figures 10 and 11 ), hinged to the opposite side of the housing unit 8.

[0092] Figure 10 Figure 1 shows a sectional view of the device 2 with the housing unit 8 and the sensor unit 6 in the half-open or partially extended position 102. [0098] Figure 15Figure 1 schematically shows a side view of the housing unit 8 with the joint mechanism 7, in particular the multi-link mechanism with the links 70, but without the sensor unit 6 and without the base support 5. The second link 72 can, for example, be designed as a stirrup link. The first link 71 is the drive link, which is motionally coupled to the output shaft 13 of the drive 11. The second link 72 and the third link 73 are motionally coupled to the first link 71 via the housing unit 8 and are designed as output links.

[0099] Figure 16Figure 1 schematically shows, in a perspective view, the housing unit 8 with the joint mechanism 7, in particular the multi-link mechanism with the links 70, and without the sensor unit 6 and without the base support 5. The second link 72 and the third link 73 are designed as bow links. Their second link ends 722 and 732 of the bow-shaped second link 72 and the bow-shaped third link 73, respectively, are articulated to the housing unit 8 on both sides. Their respective opposite first link ends 721 and 731, in particular a rod connecting the bows, are simply attached to the base support 5 (in Figures 2 and 3 (shown) or articulated to the locking element 9. For example, locking tongues 19 are provided for the movable, in particular rotatable, reception of the first handlebar ends 721 and 731.

[0100] The first link 71 is a rod link and is articulated on one side to the housing unit 8 and on one side to the base carrier 5 (shown in Figures 2 and 3 ).

[0101] Figure 17 Figure 1 schematically shows in perspective an alternative embodiment of a device 20 with the drive 11 and indirect coupling with the joint mechanism 7 and its links 70.

[0102] Device 20 differs from the previously described device 2 only in the coupling of the drive 11 with the joint mechanism 7 – directly for device 2 and indirectly for device 20. Only the differences are described in detail below. The identical components of devices 2 and 20 were previously identified based on the Figures 1 to 16 described.

[0103] The drive 11 is, as in Figure 17shown, indirectly via an intermediate joint mechanism 21 with the first link 71 of the joint mechanism 7 for adjusting the sensor unit 6 or the housing unit 8 with sensor unit 6 (as shown) motion-coupled.

[0104] The first link 71, designed as a drive link, is indirectly driven by a drive lever 21.1 of the intermediate linkage mechanism 21.

[0105] In the indirect coupling of drive 11 and first link 71 via the intermediate linkage mechanism 21, the output axis 11.1 of the drive 11 and the link axis (= the stationary pivot axis 713) of the first link 71 are arranged offset from each other.

[0106] In the case of indirect coupling, the drive 11, the drive lever 21.1 of the intermediate linkage mechanism 21 and the first link 71 designed as a drive link can move in the same direction 204.

[0107] In the indirect coupling of drive 11 and first link 71, the intermediate linkage mechanism 21 is arranged between the drive 11 and the first link 71, which is designed as a drive link. The intermediate linkage mechanism 21 can, for example, be designed as a toggle lever mechanism. In particular, it is a toggle lever mechanism with a dead center position.

[0108] In the extended position (operating position 101, as shown in Figure 17 shown) and / or in the retracted state (the rest position 100, analogous in Figure 2The sensor unit 6 (as shown) is securely fixed (also called "locked") by means of the toggle lever mechanism. In particular, the sensor unit 6 is fixed in one of its end positions by means of the intermediate joint mechanism 21 in such a way that this position cannot be easily opened or closed by hand or by vehicle vibrations. Alternatively, a self-locking mechanism can be provided instead of the toggle lever mechanism.

[0109] A first lever of the intermediate linkage mechanism 21, designed, for example, as a toggle lever mechanism, forms the drive lever 21.1. A second lever of the intermediate linkage mechanism 21, also designed, for example, as a toggle lever mechanism, forms an output lever 21.2. The drive lever 21.1 is coupled to the drive 11, in particular to its mechanical output. The output lever 21.2 is in turn coupled to the first link 71, which is designed as a drive link.

[0110] Preferably, the intermediate joint mechanism 21, designed as a toggle lever mechanism, can be configured as a bistable toggle lever mechanism. The bistable toggle lever mechanism can, for example, have two positions: a first stable position and a second stable position. The first stable position corresponds to the rest position 100 of the sensor unit 6 and / or the closing position 103 of the locking element 9, as shown analogously in Figure 2 The second stable position corresponds to the operating position 101 of the sensor unit 6 and / or the releasing position 104 of the locking element 9, as shown in Figure 17 .

[0111] The movement of the drive 11 indirectly via the intermediate linkage mechanism 21 causes the first link 71, designed as a drive link, to slide along the surface, for example arc-shaped, circular segment-shaped or curved, in particular the guide rib 50, of the base support 5 between the rest position 100 and the operating position 101. By designing the intermediate linkage mechanism 21 as a bistable toggle lever mechanism, it can be fixed in its end positions, the rest position 100 and the operating position 101.

[0112] At the first end of the first link 711 of the first link 71, there is a pin 716 for fixed mounting in the base carrier 5 (shown in Figure 17 ) provided.

[0113] A bearing 60 is provided for the stationary mounting of the pin 716. The bearing 60 can also be designed as a separate end stop 61 to limit the movement of the intermediate linkage mechanism 21 and / or the first link 71. For example, the bearing 60, as a separate end stop 61, has at least one radial projection 62.
