Description
DescriptionTitle of Invention: Training device for combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for training of armed forces Technical Field
[0001] The invention relates to a dummy for training individual techniques in martial arts or combat sports, self-defense or for training armed forcesBackground Art
[0002] Wooden training dummies for practicing martial arts, martial arts techniques, self- defense or for training armed forces have been known for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years, especially in China, where this tool is used in training the martial art of Kung- fu.
[0003] The original wooden dummies consist of wooden logs fitted with rods over the holes to simulate the opponent's arms, usually three and a rod simulating one leg. The rods are statically inserted into the logs and thus do not allow any movement. This severely limits the training.
[0004] Most known dummy solutions for practicing combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for armed forces training are installed into the ground or stand on the ground. Installation in the ground often requires significant structural intervention in the floor structure, where floor installations risk disturbing the building's structure. Placing a dummy for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for armed forces training freely on the floor reduces its spatial stability and limits the possibilities of training, or massive structures are required to ensure its stability. For example, a portable dummy solution for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for training of armed forces is known, as described in CN208081800U.
[0005] Solutions for hanging a dummy for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for training armed forces on a wall are known, for example CN102228737B. This solution, however, represents a static version of the dummy for training in combat sports.
[0006] There are solutions that attempt to eliminate the immobility of the dummy for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for armed forces training. Most often with the use of various massive springs. This results in relatively complex and heavy constructions that are difficult to handle and usually cannot be used in home conditions.
[0007] The solution CN208212461U is known, where the dummy is placed on a spring and equipped with a carousel with sandbags. This solution allows limited movement of thedummy within the range allowed by the spring. A similar solution is also described in document US2011245045A1. The document US2012238414A1 represents an extended version of this solution.
[0008] A solution CN207356516U is also known, wherein the dummy for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for training of armed forces is provided with springs in multiple locations, thereby increasing the variability of movement of the dummy. However, the solution is very robust and unsuitable for home use.
[0009] Solutions comprising some type of propulsion for moving a dummy for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for training armed forces are also known. This is for example the solution described in document CN109381850A. This solution allows only rotational movement and requires the presence of a power source. A similar motor solution is described in document CN105920823B.
[0010] The described solutions also do not allow for height variability of the dummy for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for training of armed forces. This attempts to eliminate the solution described in document CN210645058U, however the parts simulating the arms and legs remain static with only limited height adjustment.
[0011] However, these solutions do not offer the exerciser the necessary variability of movement, set up to allow him to train different techniques.
[0012] Solutions that attempt to increase the variability of dummy movement for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for training armed forces are also known.
[0013] The solution described in document W02019007234A1 is known, wherein the body of a dummy for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or for training armed forces is placed on a structure equipped with a transmission mechanism transferring the swinging movement of the dummy to the movement of parts simulating the upper limbs. The drawback of this solution is only front-to-back movement, no rotation.
[0014] A similar solution described in document W02018068560A1 is also known, where the motion is transmitted to the individual converted parts by means of transmission devices.
[0015] Both described solutions are technically demanding to assemble, which also de termines the complexity of possible repairs. Production costs are also high. It does not appear to be suitable for use in a home environment. Another disadvantage is the fact that the same strike on the dummy results in identical movement of the other converted parts, which gives a tightly limited possibility of training individual combat techniques.
[0016] The solution described in document CN206881059U is also known, representing dummies for martial arts training with moving parts simulating arms and legs. The described solution is fitted with a motor, which increases its price and availability, reduces the possibility of using it in a home environment, and increases repair and maintenance costs.
[0017] The solution described in GR1007851B is also known, which is a wall-mounted dummy for training in combat sports, martial arts techniques, self-defense or armed forces training, wherein individual parts simulating arms and legs are attached to the dummy by springs. The disadvantage of the solution is that the stiffness of the springs decreases with time and they need to be replaced.
[0018] The above deficiencies are eliminated by the solution according to the invention.Summary of Invention
