Description

[0001] The invention relates to a high-pressure cleaning device according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] State-of-the-art high-pressure cleaning equipment typically requires a lot of space. Recently, one of the goals in the design of high-pressure cleaning equipment has been to make them lightweight, compact, and as portable as possible.

[0003] The invention is based on the object of developing a generic high-pressure cleaning device in such a way that it can be designed compactly.

[0004] This object is achieved by a high-pressure cleaning device having the features of claim 1.

[0005] The invention is based on the finding that in conventional high-pressure cleaning devices the arrangement of the high-pressure pump and the hose reel is unfavorable. They are often arranged far apart from one another, such that a supply line from the high-pressure pump to the hose reel is necessary. This wastes installation space and material. As a rule, the high-pressure pump and a drive of the high-pressure pump are arranged one behind the other in the direction of movement of the at least one piston of the high-pressure pump. Often the hose reel is also arranged behind it in the same direction, namely in the direction of movement of the at least one piston. This requires a great deal of installation space, particularly in the direction of movement of the at least one piston of the high-pressure pump.

[0006] According to the invention, the rotational axis of the hose reel runs transversely, in particular perpendicularly, to the direction of movement of the at least one piston. The hose reel and the high-pressure pump are arranged in such a way that the rotational axis of the hose reel intersects the high-pressure pump. This makes it possible to arrange the high-pressure pump and the hose reel very close to one another. A long connecting line between the high-pressure pump and the hose reel is therefore unnecessary. Furthermore, little installation space is required in the direction of movement of the at least one piston of the high-pressure pump. This enables a compact design of the high-pressure cleaning device.

[0007] In particular, the central axis of the high-pressure pump is a central axis of the at least one piston. If the high-pressure pump comprises only a single piston, the central axis is the longitudinal central axis of the piston. If the high-pressure pump comprises multiple pistons, the central axis is an axis of symmetry with respect to all pistons. For example, the pistons can be arranged on an imaginary circular line. The central axis then runs through the center of the circular line. In this case, the central axis is expediently at the same distance from all pistons. This distance is measured perpendicular to the direction of movement of the at least one piston. However, it can also be provided that the pistons are arranged in a row, in particular on an imaginary straight line. The central axis then runs through the straight line and divides all pistons along the straight line into two equal halves.

[0008] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the high-pressure pump comprises a swash plate. The swash plate is mounted for rotation about a disk rotation axis. During operation of the high-pressure cleaning device, the swash plate expediently drives at least one piston of the high-pressure pump. In particular, the center axis of the high-pressure pump runs coaxially with the disk rotation axis of the swash plate.

[0009] The high-pressure pump comprises, in particular, a pump inlet. The pump inlet is also referred to as the fluid inlet. In particular, the pump inlet is designed so that fluid can enter the high-pressure pump through the pump inlet in the direction of movement of the at least one piston.

[0010] Advantageously, the rotational axis of the hose reel intersects the center axis of the high-pressure pump. In particular, the rotational axis of the hose reel and the center axis of the high-pressure pump are oriented perpendicular to each other.

[0011] The hose reel has a drum spacing from the center axis, measured in the direction of the hose reel's rotation axis. The high-pressure cleaning device has a maximum width, measured in the direction of the rotation axis. Advantageously, the drum spacing is at most 55%, in particular at most 40%, in particular at most 30% of the maximum width. This allows the hose reel to be positioned at a small drum spacing from the center axis. This allows the high-pressure cleaning device to be designed compactly.

[0012] The hose reel has a reel width measured along the rotational axis of the hose reel. The reel pitch is advantageously no more than 70%, particularly no more than 55%. This also allows for a compact design of the high-pressure cleaning device, particularly in the transverse direction, and especially in the direction perpendicular to the center axis of the high-pressure pump.

[0013] The drum width is preferably no more than 60%, in particular no more than 50%, of the maximum width of the high-pressure cleaning device. This allows the high-pressure cleaning device to be designed compactly, particularly in the transverse direction, and in particular in the direction perpendicular to the central axis.

[0014] In particular, the hose reel is arranged in the area of an outer wall of the housing. The hose reel is preferably arranged outside the housing. However, it can also be provided that the hose reel is only partially covered by an outer wall of the housing. It can also be provided that the hose reel is arranged inside the housing.

[0015] In particular, the housing at least partially limits the high-pressure cleaning device to the outside.

[0016] The high-pressure pump has a rigid base body. The high-pressure cleaning device in particular has a rigid connecting element. In particular, the connecting element is a component of the high-pressure pump. In contrast to a flexible hose for conveying cleaning fluid, the connecting element is rigid. In particular, the connecting element is a die-cast part. Advantageously, the connecting element is arranged between the hose reel and the rigid base body of the high-pressure pump, in particular transversely with respect to the direction, in particular perpendicular to the central axis. In particular, the rigid connecting element is directly connected to the rigid base body of the high-pressure pump. In particular, the rigid base body and the rigid connecting element form a rigid structural unit of the high-pressure cleaning device. In particular, the high-pressure cleaning device has a fluid distributor. The fluid distributor is expediently held in the rigid connecting element. In particular, the rigid connecting element is arranged between, in particular with respect to the transverse direction, in particular with respect to the direction perpendicular to the central axis, the fluid distributor and the rigid base body of the high-pressure pump. The fluid distributor is expediently provided for forwarding the cleaning fluid into the hose reel, in particular into the reel hose. In particular, the hose reel is rotatably mounted on the fluid distributor. The high-pressure cleaning device is expediently designed such that, during operation of the high-pressure cleaning device, cleaning fluid can flow from the rigid base body of the high-pressure pump through the connecting element to the fluid distributor. In particular, no flexible line piece, in particular no flexible hose, is arranged between the fluid distributor and the high-pressure pump. In particular, no flexible line piece, in particular no flexible hose, is arranged between the fluid distributor and the base body of the high-pressure pump.

[0017] In an advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the high-pressure pump protrudes into the hose reel in a direction transverse to the central axis, in particular in a direction perpendicular to the central axis, in particular in the direction of the rotation axis of the hose reel. In particular, the connecting element of the high-pressure pump protrudes into the hose reel in a direction transverse to the central axis, in particular in a direction perpendicular to the central axis, in particular in the direction of the rotation axis of the hose reel. This enables a particularly compact design of the high-pressure cleaning device. The connecting element can be designed to be comparatively short, and by protruding the connecting element into the hose reel, further installation space is saved.

[0018] Advantageously, the high-pressure pump overlaps the hose reel across the drum in a transverse direction, in particular perpendicular to the central axis, in particular with respect to the direction of the rotation axis, over at least 30% of the drum width. In particular, the connecting element overlaps the hose reel across the drum in a transverse direction, in particular perpendicular to the central axis, in particular with respect to the direction of the rotation axis, over at least 30% of the drum width.

[0019] Advantageously, the hose reel has a receiving space located radially inward relative to the rotation axis on its inner outer side facing the high-pressure pump. In particular, the receiving space extends radially from the rotation axis. In particular, the receiving space is designed to accommodate a cleaning supply line for admixing cleaning agent to the cleaning fluid. This also enables a compact design of the high-pressure cleaning device.

[0020] The receiving chamber has a maximum diameter measured perpendicularly, in particular radially, to the rotational axis. In particular, the maximum diameter is larger than the diameter of the fluid distributor measured perpendicularly, in particular radially, to the rotational axis. Thus, the receiving chamber provides sufficient space to accommodate the cleaning supply line.

[0021] In particular, the connecting element comprises a cleaning supply opening for admixing cleaning agent to the cleaning fluid. The cleaning supply opening is expediently arranged in the connecting element. In particular, the cleaning supply opening is arranged in the area of the hose reel with respect to the direction of the rotation axis. This allows for the simple addition of cleaning agent to the cleaning fluid, even with a compact design of the high-pressure cleaning device.

[0022] The high-pressure cleaner conveniently includes a battery pack. In particular, the battery pack is the sole power source of the high-pressure cleaner. In particular, the high-pressure cleaner is a battery-powered high-pressure cleaner.

[0023] In particular, the high-pressure cleaning device is portable. In particular, the high-pressure cleaning device does not have wheels.

[0024] In particular, the battery pack serves to supply energy to a drive for the high-pressure pump. The high-pressure cleaning device advantageously has a battery compartment for accommodating the battery pack. Advantageously, the battery compartment and the hose reel overlap at least partially with respect to the direction of the rotation axis. In particular, the battery compartment and the high-pressure pump overlap at least partially with respect to the direction of the rotation axis. Advantageously, the high-pressure pump, the drive for the high-pressure pump, and the battery compartment are arranged one behind the other with respect to the direction of the central axis, in particular with respect to the direction of movement. This arrangement allows the high-pressure cleaning device to be very compact. In particular, the high-pressure cleaning device has a handle. The handle can be used to carry the high-pressure cleaning device. The high-pressure pump, hose reel, and battery pack are conveniently arranged so that the center of gravity of the high-pressure cleaner is below the handle. This allows for comfortable carrying.

[0025] In an advantageous development of the invention, the hose reel forms part of the outer contour of the high-pressure cleaning device. In particular, the hose reel protrudes beyond an outer contour of the housing by less than 35% of its reel width in a direction transverse to the central axis, in particular in a direction perpendicular to the central axis, in particular in the direction of the rotation axis.

[0026] An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawings. They show: Fig. 1a perspective view of a high-pressure cleaning device, Fig. 2a top view of the high-pressure cleaning device from Fig. 1 , Fig. 3a side view of the high-pressure cleaning device from Fig. 1 , Fig. 4 a sectional view of a section along the section line IV-IV from Fig. 3 , Fig. 5 a perspective sectional view of a section along the section line VI-VI from Fig. 4 , Fig. 6 a sectional view of the section along the section line VI-VI from Fig. 4 , Fig. 7 a sectional view of a section along the section line VII-VII from Fig. 4 , Fig. 8 a sectional view of the section along the section line VIII-VIII from Fig. 4 , Fig. 9 a perspective view of the high pressure pump and the drive of the high pressure pump of the high pressure cleaning device from Fig. 1 , Fig. 10 a perspective view of the high pressure pump, the drive and the hose reel of the high pressure pump of the high pressure cleaning device from Fig. 1 , Fig. 11 a perspective view of the hose reel and the reel hose of the high-pressure cleaning device from Fig. 1 and Fig. 12 a sectional view of a section along the angled section line XII-XII from Fig. 2 .

[0027] Fig. 1 shows a high-pressure cleaning device 1. The high-pressure cleaning device 1 is designed for cleaning objects with pressurized cleaning fluid. In the exemplary embodiment, the high-pressure cleaning device 1 is portable. The high-pressure cleaning device 1 has a handle 7. The high-pressure cleaning device 1 can be carried by the handle 7. During normal operation, the high-pressure cleaning device 1 is switched off. In the exemplary embodiment, the high-pressure cleaning device 1 is a battery-powered high-pressure cleaner.

[0028] The high-pressure cleaning device 1 has a housing 2. The housing 2 at least partially defines the outside of the high-pressure cleaning device 1. The high-pressure cleaning device 1 has a hose reel 20. The hose reel 20 is, as shown in the Fig. 1 bis 4 shown, mounted rotatably about a rotation axis 50. The high-pressure cleaning device 1 comprises a drum hose 21. The drum hose 21 can be wound up and unwound onto the hose reel 20. The drum hose can be wound up and unwound onto the hose reel 20. A high-pressure pump 10 is arranged in the housing 2, which, for example, Fig. 4 is shown. By means of the high-pressure pump 10, cleaning fluid in the high-pressure cleaning device 1 can be pressurized.

[0029] By means of the high-pressure pump 10, the cleaning fluid can be pressurized to a pressure of at least 10 bar, in particular at least 15 bar, in particular at least 30 bar, in particular at least 100 bar. In particular, the high-pressure pump 10 can pressurize the cleaning fluid to a maximum of 600 bar, in particular at most 500 bar. The high-pressure pump 10 comprises at least one piston 11. The at least one piston 11 is in Fig. 4 schematically shown. The at least one piston 11 can be moved back and forth in a direction of movement 49 to generate pressure on the cleaning fluid. In the exemplary embodiment, the high-pressure pump 10 comprises three pistons 11.

[0030] The high-pressure pump has a central axis 48 extending in the direction of movement 49 of the at least one piston 11. The central axis 48 is a central axis of the high-pressure pump 10. In particular, the central axis 48 of the high-pressure pump 10 is a central axis of the at least one piston 11. If the high-pressure pump 10 comprises only a single piston 11, the central axis 48 is the longitudinal central axis of the piston. In the exemplary embodiment, the high-pressure pump 10 comprises several pistons 11. In this case, the central axis 48 runs in the middle of the several pistons 11. The central axis 48 is an axis of symmetry with respect to the set of all pistons 11. As in Fig. 8 As shown, the pistons 11 can be arranged on an imaginary circular line 17. The imaginary circular line is in Fig. 8 drawn with a dashed line. The pistons 11 are also drawn schematically with a dashed line. The central axis 48 runs through the center point of the circular line 17. In the exemplary embodiment, the central axis 48 is at the same distance from all pistons 11. This distance is perpendicular, in particular measured radially to the direction of movement 49 of the at least one piston 11. However, it can also be provided that the pistons 11 are arranged in a row, in particular on an imaginary straight line. The central axis 48 then runs through the straight line and divides the set of all pistons 11 along the straight line into two equal halves. The central axis 48 then lies in the middle of the total set of all pistons 11. In this case, the central axis 48 can also run through one of the pistons 11.

[0031] In the exemplary embodiment, the high-pressure pump 10 comprises a swash plate 12, as shown in Fig. 4 shown. The swash plate 12 is rotatably mounted about a disk rotation axis 47. During operation of the high-pressure cleaning device 1, the swash plate 12 drives the at least one piston 11 of the high-pressure pump 10. The swash plate 12 rotates about the disk rotation axis 47. In doing so, the swash plate 12 presses the at least one piston 11 in the direction of the cleaning fluid. The cleaning fluid is pressurized in particular in a piston chamber (not shown). The movement of the piston 11 in the direction of movement 49 towards the cleaning fluid reduces the volume of the piston chamber. When the at least one piston 11 moves towards the cleaning fluid, a return element (not shown), such as a spring, is tensioned. Due to the restoring force of the spring, the at least one piston 11 is then pushed back away from the cleaning fluid.Subsequently, the swash plate 12 again causes the at least one piston 11 to move in the opposite direction. The swash plate 12 has an inclined surface for contact with the piston 11. The inclined surface runs obliquely to the disk rotation axis 47. The central axis 48 of the high-pressure pump 10 runs coaxially to the disk rotation axis 47 of the swash plate 12. During operation of the high-pressure cleaning device 1, cleaning fluid can be pumped to the drum hose 21 by means of the high-pressure pump 10.

[0032] The high-pressure pump 10 has an inlet valve (not shown). The cleaning fluid can enter the piston chamber through the inlet valve. In the exemplary embodiment, an inlet valve is provided for each piston 11. The inlet valve is a check valve. When the cleaning fluid in the piston chamber is pressurized, the inlet valve closes.

[0033] The high-pressure pump 10 has an outlet valve (not shown). The outlet valve allows the cleaning fluid to escape from the piston chamber and, in particular, flow toward the drum hose 21. In the exemplary embodiment, an outlet valve is provided for each piston 11. The outlet valve is a check valve. It prevents backflow from the drum hose 21 into the piston chamber.

[0034] As particularly in Fig. 4 As shown, the rotation axis 50 of the hose reel 20 runs transversely to the direction of movement 40 of the at least one piston 11. In particular, the rotation axis 50 runs perpendicular to the direction of movement 49 of the at least one piston 11. The rotation axis 50 of the hose reel 20 intersects the high-pressure pump 10.

[0035] The high-pressure pump 10 comprises a base body 13. At least one piston 11 is arranged in the base body 13. The high-pressure pump 10 comprises at least one piston 11. Each piston 11 is assigned a piston chamber in which the cleaning fluid can be pressurized. Each piston chamber is assigned an inlet valve (not shown). Each piston chamber is assigned an outlet valve (not shown). The inlet valve is a component of the high-pressure pump 10. The outlet valve is a component of the high-pressure pump 10. The piston chamber is a component of the high-pressure pump 10. The inlet valve is held in the base body 13. The outlet valve is held in the base body 13. In the exemplary embodiment, the swash plate 12 is a component of the high-pressure pump 10.It can also be provided that the reciprocating movement of the at least one piston 11 is effected by a crankshaft. In this case, the crankshaft is a component of the high-pressure pump 10. A shaft 14 is included with the swash plate 12. The high-pressure pump 10 comprises a shaft housing 15. The shaft 15 is rotatably mounted in the same housing 15. If the at least one piston 11 is driven by a crankshaft for reciprocating movement in the direction of movement 49, the crankshaft is rotatably mounted in the shaft housing 15.

[0036] The high-pressure cleaning device 1 comprises a drive 5. The drive 5 serves to drive the high-pressure pump 10. The drive 5 is not a component of the high-pressure pump 10. In the exemplary embodiment, the drive 5 is an electric motor. In particular, the drive 5 is a DC motor. In particular, the drive 5 is a brushless DC motor. The brushless DC motor is also referred to as an EC motor.

[0037] The high-pressure pump 10 comprises an inlet nozzle 16. Cleaning fluid can enter the base body 13 of the high-pressure pump 10 through the inlet nozzle 16. The inlet nozzle 16 represents a common inlet for cleaning fluid for all pistons 11 of the high-pressure pump 10. The inlet nozzle 16 extends along the direction of movement 49. The inlet nozzle 16 protrudes beyond the base body 13 of the high-pressure pump 10 in the direction of movement 49, in the direction away from the shaft housing 15.

[0038] The high-pressure pump 10 comprises a connecting element 30. The connecting element 30 is also referred to as the pump outlet of the high-pressure pump 10. The connecting element 30 represents a common outlet for the cleaning fluid emerging from the outlet valves of the plurality of pistons 11. The connecting element 30 is rigid. The connecting element 30 is fixed to the base body 13 of the high-pressure pump 10. The connecting element 30 is fixed, in particular, directly to the base body 13 of the high-pressure pump 10. The connecting element 30 does not comprise a flexible hose. In the exemplary embodiment, the connecting element 30 is a die-cast part. The connecting element 30 is formed in one piece. The connecting element 30 extends along a direction that runs transversely to the direction of movement 49, in particular perpendicular to the direction of movement 49, in particular radially to the central axis 48.

[0039] The high-pressure cleaning device 1 comprises a liquid distributor 3. The liquid distributor 3 connects the connecting element 30 directly to the hose reel 20, in particular to the reel hose 21. The hose reel 20 is rotatably mounted on the liquid distributor 3. The cleaning liquid is guided into the reel hose 21 through the liquid distributor 3. The liquid distributor 3 is held in the rigid connecting element 30 of the high-pressure pump 10. The liquid distributor 3 is rigid. The liquid distributor 3 does not comprise a flexible hose. The rigid connecting element 30 is directly connected to the rigid base body 13 of the high-pressure pump 20. During operation of the high-pressure cleaning device 1, cleaning liquid can flow from the base body 13 of the high-pressure pump 10 through the connecting element 30 of the high-pressure pump 10 to the liquid distributor 3.The liquid distributor 3 is not a component of the high-pressure pump 10. The high-pressure pump 10 does not include any flexible supply or discharge lines for cleaning liquid, for example in the form of hoses.

[0040] In the exemplary embodiment, the hose reel 20 is arranged relative to the high-pressure pump 10 such that the rotational axis 50 of the hose reel 20 intersects the central axis 48 of the high-pressure pump 10. In particular, the rotational axis 50 of the hose reel 20 and the central axis 48 of the high-pressure pump 10 are oriented perpendicular to one another. The rotational axis 50 of the hose reel 20 extends, in particular, radially to the central axis 48 of the high-pressure pump 10.

[0041] When the high-pressure cleaning device 1 is parked on a horizontal plane using a designated parking space, the rotation axis 50 of the hose reel 20 in the illustrated embodiment runs parallel to the horizontal plane. When the high-pressure cleaning device 1 is parked on the horizontal plane using the designated parking space, the central axis 48 runs parallel to the horizontal plane.

[0042] As in Fig. 11 As shown, the hose reel 20 comprises a first side wall 24. The hose reel 20 comprises a second side wall 25. The first side wall 24 is spaced apart from the second side wall 25 in the direction of the rotation axis 50 of the hose reel 20. A receiving space for the reel hose 21 is formed between the side walls 24 and 25. The reel hose 21 is wound or spooled between the side walls 24 and 25. As shown in the perspective view from Fig. 10 As can be seen, the first side wall 24 is arranged closer to the high-pressure pump 10 than the second side wall 25. The first side wall 24 is located on the inside. The first side wall 24 faces the high-pressure pump 10.
